Bernardo Silva, the captain of Manchester City, claims he is “exactly” aware of what he will do when his contract expires, but that “it is not the right time to talk about it.”

The 31-year-old midfielder said wearing the armband is a “big honour and responsibility” and that it will be “a big honor and responsibility” at the end of the season.

The Portugal international has been linked with a move despite reports of interest from Benfica and Juventus this month. He is in his ninth season with City.

Silva has won seven Premier League titles and all of the major titles that City has won.

He initially thought about moving away earlier this year, but he chose to stay.

He said, “I know what I’m going to do exactly, but it’s not the right time to concentrate.”

“It’s to do my best to restore the club to its proper place.” Many captains have left, but it’s up to the younger guys to pass it on.

Silva will face his former club Monaco in the Champions League on Wednesday (20:00 BST) in a press conference prior to the match.

When asked what Silva brings to the team, Pep Guardiola, manager of Manchester City, responded that “he cannot do better as a captain.”

After Kevin de Bruyne left in the summer and before joining Napoli on a free transfer, Silva wore the armband.

Real Madrid Thrash Kairat With Mbappe Hat-Trick

Real Madrid, the 15-time champions of the Champions League, defeated Kairat 5-0 on Tuesday to claim a hat-trick in the league phase, according to Kylian Mbappe.

After more than 7, 000 kilometers of travel, Xabi Alonso’s side recovered from their crushing defeat at city rivals Atletico Madrid on Saturday.

Mbappe scored the winning goal, while Eduardo Camavinga and Brahim Diaz completed Madrid’s victory, which temporarily placed them at the top of the table.

After their lengthy journey east, particularly with French superstar Mbappe, Kairat defeated Celtic in the first match of the tournament, but they were unable to handle Los Blancos.

Mbappe told Movistar, “We can’t forget what happened this weekend (against Atletico), but we have to keep thinking about it and working to improve every day and every week to prevent that from happening again.”

The forward has 13 goals already this season in nine games, scoring them all, but he appeared irate when he missed a good chance in the second half.

Mbappe continued, “My work is helping the team, doing what I can to win the team.”

Real Madrid bought me because I have five chances and I want to score five goals, so I must score five goals.

I’ll strive to be better and make more of the same effort to score goals and defend the net.

Due to the injuries of three other club goalkeepers, hosts Kairat and 18-year-old Sherkhan Kalmurza were paired in goal.

Madrid’s opener was caused by Kalmurza’s awkwardly felled Franco Mastantuono.

In the 25th minute, Mbappe sent Kalmurza the wrong way after the youngster had earlier saved a shot from the penalty spot.

Before the break, the Frenchman whistled a shot narrowly wide of the far post, which had been Madrid’s main threat all season.

“Enormous pass!”

After being hit hard by goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois, Mbappe scored his second goal just seven minutes into the second period.

After scoring twice against Marseille in Madrid’s opener, Mbappe subdued Kalmurza with a gentle dink over the latter.

Mbappe said, “I added the other 20% and it was an enormous pass that was worth 80% of the goal.”

After receiving two passes from Vinicius Junior, the striker should have scored his hat-trick, but Vinicius Junior only had time to beat the goalkeeper before firing wide.

Dastan Satpayev, a promising 17-year-old forward who will move to Chelsea next summer, whipped a free-kick just wide.

When Dani Ceballos was found guilty of tripping Valery Gromyko, Kairat believed they had won a penalty, but it was voided following a VAR review.

After Arda Guler threw the ball into his path on the edge of the box, Mbappe then scored his treble, finishing with a razor-sharp finish.

Ronan Keating issues plea to Boyzone fans as he sets record straight on surprise reunion

Ronan Keating, the singer who just announced they’ll be playing on the same stage as the band in the upcoming year, issued a warning to fans just hours after the band announced they’d be performing on the same night.

Boyzone star Ronan Keating has laid bare the band’s reunion plans as he issued a blunt message to fans. The Irish group sent their fanbase into a frenzy this morning by announcing a huge show.

They will take to the stage together once more in June next year with all original band members on board. Ronan, Mikey Graham, Keith Duffy and Shane Lync will perform at Emirates Stadium in London on Saturday 6 June.

The band are set to pay tribute to the late Stephen Gately during the show, which follows on from the success of documentary Boyzone: No Matter What on Sky. Boyzone said: “We’ve been truly blown away and humbled by the response to the documentary this year.

“The love we’ve felt from fans all over the world has inspired us to create the ultimate experience together, headlining our own stadium show. The four of us can’t wait to stand together again and enjoy One For The Road.”

This will be their first performance since 2019. Ronan has since apologised to fans and clarified what the show really means for the band’s future.

He remarked, “This is not a reunion.” We don’t create new music. We’re not putting the band back together to go on tour the world, and there isn’t any new music.

Ronan told the Sun and other press that it is a one night show, and if they decide to add more it would become two nights at the Emirates. The singer added they won’t perform anywhere else.

Boyzone first ended in 2000, as their members continued to pursue independent careers before reuniting in 2007. They didn’t return to the stage since their 2018-2019 Thank You And Goodnight farewell tour.

Ronan had already teased a reunion as speaking on the Scott Mills Breakfast Show on BBC Radio 2, he said: “The reaction was unbelievable, so we’ve obviously been talking about our story for the last 30 years, and we felt like that was kind of it, that maybe that was the end of the story.

We’ve all been conversing over the past few weeks, and I believe Boyzone might try to do something in 2026.

When asked how his bandmates were getting along, Ronan responded, “They’re really great… After the documentary, the reaction was unbelievable, even people who weren’t Boyzone fans were contacting me and said, “I had no idea.”

“British Airways had it on the plane (to England) in the documentary section, and somebody was watching it next to me, and it was really awkward, I had to put a blanket over my head.”

On October 10, 2009, Stephen passed away at the age of 33 from natural causes at his Mallorcan holiday home. Officials at the inquest into the singer’s death told the jury that he had a pulmonary oedema, or a lungs’ buildup, that ultimately led to respiratory failure.

On day two of the Canoe Slalom World Championships, Great Britain’s men won silver and their women’s team won bronze.

In Sydney, Australia, Adam Burgess, Ryan Westley, and Luc Royle, the men’s men’s C1 team finished 0.79 seconds ahead of France.

After a nervy wait at the finish, the women’s team took home a bronze in the same discipline.

After a 50-second penalty that was later removed, the British trio of Kimberley Woods, Ellis Miller, and Bethan Forrow initially placed eighth.

Before they could celebrate their medal, they had to wait until an investigation from Slovakia, which had placed fourth, was finished.

We thought we managed to recover really well from the top incident, Miller said.

We are extremely happy to learn that we now have a bronze medal.

Woods, Miller, and Forrow all made individual semi-finals, just like the men’s trio, who won the Olympic bronze medal in the same year.

Joe Clarke won the silver medal in the individual time trials on Monday, topping the British nation’s total.

Lola Young cancels all future gigs after collapsing on stage in horror emergency

After collapsing on stage at a New York concert, singer-songwriter Lola Young has called off her upcoming appearances.

The Messy singer, 24, stated in an Instagram post that “I’m going away for a while.” I feel pressured to postpone everything for the near future.

“Thank you very much for your love and support.” I’m so sorry to let anyone who purchased a ticket to see me go. It hurts me even more.

You will obviously be able to get a full refund. Once I’ve worked on myself and come back stronger, I’m really hoping you’ll give me another chance. Lola x, love you all.

The star was thrown to the floor on Saturday as she performed at the Forest Hills Stadium’s All Things Go music festival, where she was being treated in a rush. When the incident occurred, the singer was singing Conceited.

The audience started euphoric as the stage was quickly cleared. Lola stated to her fans before the incident that it had “tough days” before collapsing. Sometimes you really feel as though you can’t continue living.

After Lola at the festival, American rapper Doechii, whose real name is Jaylah Hickman, performed the song and sparked a crowd’s rendition of “we love you Lola” in her honor.

She wasn’t feeling well tonight, and I’m so happy you guys were there to hold her up. “She’s an incredibly talented artist. Everyone, please let’s wish her the best of luck.

After canceling her previous concert due to mental health concerns, Lola returned emotionally.

When her manager, Nick Shymansky, announced via her Instagram story that she was canceling her performance for “a sensitive matter,” she was scheduled to play at Audacy’s We Can Survive concert at Newark’s Prudential Center.

He later said, “Lola is very open about her mental health, and occasionally my team and I have to take protective measures to keep her safe.”

He concluded by stating that “She is an incredible person who always takes her fans, career, and performances seriously.” I’m only able to express my sincere regret for the inconvenience caused.

I’m Only F****ing Myself, Lola’s third studio album, just came out, and she was scheduled to play dates in various parts of England and Scotland in October.
