Inside Strictly star Nikita Kuzmin’s life with girlfriend amid life-changing health woes

Celebrity Big Brother fans have long admired the Strictly Come Dancing star Nikita Kuzmin, but his life hasn’t been all sunshine.

Nikita Kuzmin has quickly become one of the most loved professional dancer on Strictly Come Dancing since his debut in 2021 at the tender age of 22. During his very first year on the BBC series, Nikita, now 27, was partnered with Tilly Ramsay, where he finished in sixth place.

The Ukrainian-born dancer then partnered with Ellie Simmonds in 2022, Layton Williams in 2023 where the pair finished in 2nd place, and Sam Quek in 2024, finishing in 10th place. Nikita was hopeful that 2025 would be his year after he discovered that hugely popular Love Island winner Dani Dyer would be his partner.

Sadly, Nikita’s dreams have come crashing down after reality TV star Dani, 29, has been forced to pull out of the BBC competition before her very first dance due to a painful injury. Mum-of-three Dani announced her departure from the show earlier this week.

The pre-recorded launch episode on the weekend unveiled each of the pairings for the latest series. It was revealed that Dani would be with Nikita, 27, and she said upon meeting her dance partner: “I’m so happy. I literally am in shock.”

Earth-shattering regret

Nikita made a statement after learning Dani had left Strictly. He also posted some behind-the-scenes photos, saying that he was “so devastated we’d finished our journey before it even started.”

“We had an incredible amount of fun and laughs in such a short amount of time!” I really enjoyed our partnership, and I’m hoping to reach week one soon, lol. I wish you the best of luck, Daniel.

You’re such a wonderful, upbeat, and lovely person, he continued. Knowing how excited you were to do your absolute best on the show breaks my heart. We sincerely haven’t decided on the team name in time, so hopefully we can pick it up next year:) Love from #danita, #dakita, #nani.

The professional dancer has always succeeded despite Dani and Nikita’s disappointing setback.

The Strictly star’s incredible success came as a result of his family moving to Italy, where Nikita has won numerous competition victories before switching to television.

He has learned to accept his medical condition, which he initially feared might end his career, and has endured personal heartache throughout his journey. We examine Nikita’s life while she is away from the famed’s bright lights.

a life-changing medical condition

At the age of 13, Nikita has been open about denying that type 1 diabetes will stop him from dancing. Although he initially expressed concern that it might affect his dancing, he quickly discovered that many other celebrities also have the ability to manage it.

He said, “When I found out, I thought, My career’s over, and when I woke up the next morning, I saw all those kids smiling and they were diabetics just like me.” This wall of fame was there when I left my room, which is one of my best memories in life.

Olympians, Paralympians, Presidents, actors, and other well-known diabetics made up the entire group. And I believe I actually numbered quite a few of them because I believed there were far more people than there really were. Most of the items I checked a few days ago were not even there.

While in the Celebrity Big Brother house last year, viewers were left puzzled when they thought they spotted a mobile phone as the dancer entered the diary room. However, it turned out to be his blood sugar monitor.

Was that nikitas’ lap phone in the diary room, one viewer asked? Another chimed in, “No one notices Nikita has a phone or something on his knees at the start of his interview with BB.”

Fans who knew about Nikita’s health condition quickly clarified that he didn’t have a phone, with one saying, “He’s diabetic.” His machine is used to check his sugars. “Nikita is diabetic, he’s checking blood sugar, it’s not a phone!” was added. “!.

Nikita’s romantic life

With models and famous women in her past, Nikita has a turbulent romantic history. He and Nicole Wirt had a five-year relationship before splitting up, which caused rumors of the infamous curse.

Nikita’s breakup was initiated by an insider who told The Sun that he wanted to concentrate solely on his career. Nicole and Nicole both decided a while back that Nicole should end their relationship and that Nicole should be the main focus of this season of Strictly. After five years of dating, they decided to end their relationship. Nicole’s main location is in Germany, but her work is getting more and more demanding.

After that, the Ukrainian performer connected with Australian intimacy podcaster and TikTok sensation Charlie Backshall whose show The Hotline featured explicit accounts of their alleged private encounters.

She discussed an intimate encounter with a man who she thought was Nikita during an episode titled “We’re Back and I’m Still in Love.” However, an insider claimed to be worried about alienating Strictly viewers by wanting to keep her provocative career a secret.

According to the insider, dating a sex podcaster conflicts a lot because Nikita is well aware of his brand and the fact that he appears on the most family-friendly TV show. He opted not to reveal their relationship until after the 2022 season was over, citing his desire not to let it overshadow his role in the show, which included dancing with Paralympic medalist Ellie.

Charlie knows that their relationship will soon be known as soon as he starts talking openly about it. He hopes their romance will work out well apart because he really likes her.

Unfortunately, it wasn’t meant to be, and he has since started dating 23-year-old model Lauren Jaine. Although it’s not yet known when Nikita and Lauren started dating, there was a rise in rumors about their relationship by the summer of last year.

The model backed her partner publicly when he was confirmed as a housemate on the 2024 series of Celebrity Big Brother.

She wrote, “The secret is out! ” by posting a number of snaps of them together. I’m so excited for this crazy boy to participate in this amazing experience, even though I’m going to miss him. Every single night, the gattos and I will be watching! I adore you, @nikita__kuzmin.

Home life

Along with their adorable cats, Nikita and Lauren reside in a contemporary London apartment. The sliding doors into their open living room lead to a balcony where Nikita enjoys working out.

The couple’s interior design choice includes a gray sofa, a large TV, a free-standing mirror, and a guitar.

White cabinets and a balcony are located in their kitchen. The couple’s bedroom’s plain white walls have been posted by Lauren. Leo and Bagheera, Nikita’s adorable cats, enjoy dining with the couple at their table. Additionally, they have five other kittens who enjoy snubbling together on the sofa.

In a pulsating derby that ended the La Liga leaders’ first defeat in a year-opening season, Julian Alvarez scored twice as Atletico Madrid defeated Real Madrid 5-2 from behind.

Real Madrid leads La Liga by 18 points, two ahead of Barcelona, who are still playing.

In the fourteenth minute, Robin Le Normand’s aggressive start paid off.

In the 25th minute, Kylian Mbappe unstoppable strike from close range gave the visitors a lead before Arda Guller headed a volley from a Vinicius Jr cross 11 minutes later.

Atletico regained the lead five minutes into the second half when Alvarez converted a penalty after Guler’s high boot hit fellow goalkeeper Nico Gonzalez on the face inside the box in added time before the break.

In the 64th minute, Alvarez extended their lead with a sublime free kick that propelled them into the top corner with a quick counter in added time.

Alvarez’s performance, which included a controversial penalty that caused Atletico to lose to Madrid in the Champions League last season, was a sweet recompense.

After Madrid had won all six La Liga games and its Champions League opener, Atletico dealt Xabi Alonso his first defeat of the season. Alonso’s only other defeat as Madrid’s coach occurred against Paris Saint-Germain in the July Club World Cup semifinals, which he won in comparison.

With a victory over Real Sociedad on Sunday, Barcelona will overtake Madrid.

Alonso, the coach for Real Madrid, acknowledged that his team had a right to lose.

“We had poor performance everywhere. He claimed that we couldn’t string passes together, win duels, or create chances.

“We must examine what occurred and improve,” the statement goes.

As he prepared for the rest of the season, the Madrid coach tried to find satisfaction in this agonizing defeat.

Women’s Rugby World Cup Final

Canada (8) 13

Hogan-Rochester 2 Pen: De Goede

England (21) 33

The Women’s Rugby World Cup was won by England for the third time after a strong performance against Canada at Twickenham.

The Red Roses, who had lost their previous two finals to New Zealand, dissected that ghost with an assured display built on their strength up front and ferocious defense in front of a record-breaking crowd of 81, 885 women’s rugby players.

England’s final defeat came in the previous World Cup final three years ago, extending their 33-game winning streak.

The hosts and tournament favorites responded by scoring a stunning solo by Ellie Kildunne after giving an early score to flying Canada winger Asia Hogan-Rochester.

As John Mitchell’s men took control of the final, hooker Amy Cokayne and eighth-ranked Alex Matthews crossed after Sophie de Goede converted a penalty to keep Canada within two scores.

Before Hogan-Rochester scored her second try, Abbie Ward scored the opener.

However, Matthews’ second try after courageous defense sealed the Red Roses’ victory.

Canada defeated New Zealand in the semi-finals and had arguably played the best rugby in the tournament, coming in the final 95% of the way to its million-dollar fundraising goal, which was established to help them compete with the world’s best-funded teams.

However, Mitchell’s team outperformed the world’s top two-ranked team to win the title for the first time since 2014 when they also defeated Canada on the biggest stage when it was most important.

Kildunne’s starry quality is supported by capable rugby

After some skillful handling, Hogan-Rochester went over in the corner to give his side another impressive start as their semi-final against Canada, which defeated New Zealand in the first half.

However, Kildunne ensured that the mood was immediately changed as the stunning full-back passed defender after defender to add another wonder try to her collection.

Mitchell’s side refused to let go of the momentum that England’s star player and outgoing World Rugby Player of the Year had brought.

This week, Mitchell made it clear that winning the World Cup is all about good rugby. Copayne’s touchdown off a driving maul was not only important, but it was also the opposite of the first try’s star quality.

Matthews crossed after more scrum dominance as simple and effective rugby continued to succeed as the home crowd cheered England on.

The hosts’ defense, which was exemplified by Zoe Aldcroft’s stealth of the ball back on her own tryline, was equally effective in the opening period.

When it matters, England finally reaches its peak.

One of the seven starters who survived the crushing final defeat three years ago, Lock Ward, fired over for a crucial opening goal.

When the Red Roses’ previous 30-game winning streak in the previous World Cup final was most important, the game came to an end.

Hogan-Rochester’s second-sharp finish undoubtedly would have reminded England if they had been reminded that pre-tournament dominance does not guarantee a World Cup victory.

However, Mitchell, a former men’s New Zealand head coach, was hired two years ago to bring a winning mindset to finals rugby.

His team performed well at times during the tournament, but they did so on the day of the match, delivering what was lacking.

Matthews’ World Cup-winning attempt came following a vicious defense that forced Canada to reclaim control of the field, demonstrating just that winning mindset.

In the most recent World Cup final, captain Zoe Aldcroft recalls hugging center Tatyana Heard and crying at full-time.

Crystal Palace End Liverpool’s Perfect Start

In a 2-1 defeat at Crystal Palace on Saturday, Liverpool’s perfect Premier League start was undone.

After extending their club record to 18 games in all competitions without losing, including three games against Liverpool, Palace are now the only Premier League team without a win.

After being bailed out by a number of late goals in their first five league games, the English champions were finally forced to pay for yet another disjointed performance.

After Liverpool couldn’t turn a corner, Ismaila Sarr gave the FA Cup winners an early lead.

When Federico Chiesa headed home a loose ball in the box to give Liverpool the lead in the 87th minute, it appeared to be saved by a second late goal.

The Reds were anticipating a late winner this time.

With almost the final kick of the game, Nketiah put together a composed finish in a dense penalty area.

When Arsenal travel to Newcastle on Sunday, they can reclaim second place and close the gap on their title rivals by two points.

Tattoos, forfeit hairstyles and Channing Tatum – inside Red Roses’ winning camp

Ellie Kildunne waited too long. once more.

The England full-back’s tardiness is infamous among her team-mates. She had a valid excuse this time, though. Due to the consequences of losing a bet at training, she had to arrive later at dinner.

For the team’s evening meal, she was forced to straighten her mop of curly hair.

She said, “I keep my word. “It’s only hair”.

It’s just hair, but it also serves as a crucial indicator of how environmentally friendly England wanted to be during this Rugby World Cup.

Not everyone in the Red Roses camp enjoyed the three-year-old New Zealand campaign.

In a June episode of her Rugby Rodeo podcast, Wing Jess Breach, who only played one game in England’s final, unrepeatedly and bluntly described her 2022 experience.

She described her hopes for England’s 2025 campaign as “I don’t want to have resentment and I don’t want to think of it in just a negative way.”

I don’t want people to be in the squad and experience the same emotions as I did in the first one.

Not always being able to do that. Over the course of a lengthy tournament, weekly selection calls consistently put pressure on a squad’s unity.

Head coach John Mitchell acknowledged this, claiming that “a few” of his squad members still “validate too much in their life around selection.”

However, Mitchell has also praised the maturity with which the majority of his players handled his calls. Everyone is kept involved, regardless of their role on match day, which has been helped by a conscious, collective effort.

The squad wore pyjamas and face masks during Step Up, an early Channing Tatum film, for the semi-final week.

Different groups have developed their own routines outside of the scheduled sessions.

In honor of the locations of each of England’s games, Meg Jones and Hannah Botterman have both been tattooed in honor of their body art. After Sunderland’s first game of the season in the north east, the pair had cats inked in a reference to the football team’s nickname, the Black Cats.

Following that, ice creams for Brighton and a nod to Northampton’s most well-known local industry were served, finishing off the poolside show. Jones was considering flying a hot air balloon to Bristol to celebrate their semi-final.

Memories and remembrances have been gathered in scrapbooks by Props MacKenzie Carson, Maud Muir, and Kelsey Clifford.

A small book club is led by Tatiana Heard and Lark Atkin Davies.

Gaming has been done with an old-fashioned twist. Rummikub, a tile-based game inspired by the card game Rummy, is being played by Muir and Jones, and Kildunne has introduced the Guitar Hero console game.

All of it helped to reduce the pressure of being both heavy favorites and hosts.

Be where our feet are, a mantra that the camp has repeatedly said.

Instead of anticipating what might be or reflecting on how far they have come, the idea is to be present and not to let go of one’s mistakes.

However, the squad hasn’t been completely shielded from the outside excitement surrounding their progress.

A large pinboard with good luck messages from primary school students from different countries confronted them one morning as they were making their way to the training pitch.

Both footballing royalty and royalty have also made post-game appearances in the dressing room, with Chloe Kelly, who won the Euros, expressing her gratitude for their victory over Samoa.

After a scoreless opening half against Australia in Brighton, Catherine, Princess of Wales, complained to the team that she was worried. The team gave her a bouquet of knitted red roses as a gift, and winning Abby Dow is the team’s most prolific crocheter.

On game day, the squad shows signs of team unity.

Emily Scarratt, a veteran of the team’s most recent successful title tilt, has been playing the lottery for the people who came in before her. She will be competing in her fifth World Cup.

Abi Burton purchased a drum with a full percussion support section after a similarly short game of a length.

One of those who enthusiastically wrestled the drumsticks was Kildunne, who had concussion while she was unable to play in the quarter-final match against Scotland.

Botterman typically manages the pre-game music, while an external specialist, the Braid Maidens, weave the players’ intricate braids into place on the morning of the match because it became too time-consuming for them to do their own thing.

Captain Zoe Aldcroft’s superstitions are the most interesting among the squad’s. She packs a small knitted replica of the legendary England fly-half Jonny Wilkinson, which a friend’s grandmother made for her when Aldcroft was a teenager, in her game-day bag.
