Millie Mackintosh made the decision to stop taking her anxiety medication.

The 36-year-old reality TV star, who has been married to Hugo Taylor since 2018, revealed she no longer uses the drug and that she is “slowly tapering under the guidance of my psychiatrist.” She also acknowledged that one of her main issues with the drugs was how they affected her libido.

Right now, I feel a little wobbly, but also free.

Although it hasn’t been easy, I keep reminding myself that this is a transition that will pass. I am aware that my mental health toolkit contains medications that are useful, and that I would always take them if I needed them again.

I don’t think anyone talks about how difficult it can be to get off of their medications because I’m not advising anyone. I’m just pro meds. They came to my rescue when I struggled with panic and GAD. Please consult your doctor or psychiatrist for advice.
