James ‘Arg ‘ Argent, the former The Only Way Is Essex star, is back in Spain and advertising a gig following his arrest for domestic violence in relation to an altercation with his ex-girlfriend.
Arg admitted to the charges brought against him.
Reality TV personality James Argent has headed back to Spain to attend a domestic violence course after admitting he attacked his ex-girlfriend. The former TOWIE star, 37, was seen arriving at Olivia’s La Cala restaurant in Costa Del Sol.
He even attempted to promote a music gig while he was still a kid in the country by posing for selfies. He was spotted trying to sell tickets for the event despite the charges against him.
He reportedly left the restaurant after an hour inside after posting social media with singer Albie Davies.
The reality TV star known as Arg was charged after reportedly throwing Nicoline Artursson’s clothes off a balcony at a beachfront apartment before pushing her when she fell down steps outside. He had been dating the former Miss Sweden for almost a year, but now has to stay clear of his ex.

Arg received a six-month suspended prison sentence and a two-year restraining order following the incident after pleading guilty to shoving Nicoline. According to eyewitness accounts, a bystander told the Mirror that they had comforted Artursson, who was visibly shaken following the ordeal.
She was sobbing all the way up. She appeared extremely anxious and distressed. She said, “My life with Arg was so happy before this,” and she was totally shocked. We planned to have a family, but I can’t believe what has happened.
According to reports of the incident, Nicoline has now been claimed to have experienced cuts and bruises in the ordeal. She had cuts to her right forearm, hand, and leg, as well as bruises to her neck and right forearm.
A prosecutor detailed the injuries Nicoline sustained in the written record, including “severe bruising to her neck, a bruise to her right forearm, several abrasions to her right arm, and abrasions to her right hand and on her right leg.” The prosecutor confirmed that she had received medical care, saying that “she recovered from her injuries on skin and soft tissue in seven days.”
According to the court’s ruling, Arg is scheduled to finish a ten-week domestic violence rehabilitation program there. This will include observing survivors of abuse.
The star received previous advice from Gregorio Gomez Mata, who runs similar workshops for Spain’s Prison Service. He claimed that his advice to Mr. Argent would be to profit from this course.
He will be happier if he understands that both his and any of the women’s lives he might have in the future will change.
Although we don’t set up meetings between offenders and victims of domestic violence, the men who attend our workshops do listen to the experiences of women who have been sexually assaulted by their partners.
Arg released a statement after the incident’s details became public. I haven’t relapsed, it said. I’ve been sober and clean for four months, three years. What has happened has devastated me.
George Kaplan, who worked as Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ personal assistant, told the court about the ‘final straw’ that made him quit working for the disgraced music mogul
Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ trial has entered its second week(Image: Getty Images)
Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ former personal assistant has been called to the stand as part of the disgraced rapper’s trial, where he delved into what it was like working for the music mogul. George Kaplan started working for Combs in 2013 but walked away from the position two years later.
Combs, who is known as Diddy, Puff Daddy and various other aliases, is currently on trial for a number of serious charges, including racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion and transportation to engage in prostitution.
He was arrested in September and strongly denies all allegations made against him. Combs has been in prison since his arrest, and a number of bail requests have been rejected.
His trial has since entered its second week, with Kaplan, 34, first taking to the stand on Wednesday. Kaplan testified he worked around 80 to 100 hours per week.

The assistant said he came to understand his role was to protect Combs’ image as he would tidy up the rooms once he left. He said there would be sports drink bottles, liquor bottles and baby oil strewn around the hotel room after Combs left.
Kaplan also testified that he picked up drugs for Combs with cash he gave him. He said it happened once in Miami and once in Los Angeles.
During Thursday’s court session, Kaplan said he quit his dream job working for Combs after seeing his boss attack yet another girlfriend in 2015.
He said he was staying at Combs’ guesthouse in Miami and late one night he saw the music star throwing green apples “very hard” at a woman named Gina.
Kaplan said he wasn’t sure if the apples were real and testified that Gina was “trying to shield herself with her arms.” He was later called to Combs’ bedroom to bring a medicine bag, and Kaplan said the mood was tense.
The former assistant told the court that Gina stood in the corner of the room and Combs “seemingly on edge”. He later heard a woman screaming at the front gate of Combs’ Miami estate, along with male voices Kaplan took to be the security team.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Maurene Comey asked why Kaplan didn’t do anything to intervene, while he repeated that he was young and ambitious at the time.
“I thought it might be normal,” he said. Kaplan shifted in his chair, crossed his arms and looked at the floor.
Kaplan said the attack on Gina proved to be “the final straw,” and he gave Combs his notice shortly after. “I was not comfortable or aligned with the physical behavior that I had seen pieces of,” Kaplan told the jury.
Prior to taking to the stand, Kaplan had invoked his Fifth Amendment right to not testify citing potential self incrimination. However, Judge Arun Subramanian indicated that he would sign an immunity order which would require Kaplan to take the stand.

Welcome to the Mirror’s Daily Digest, where we pull together all the best stories of the day from our News, Showbiz, Sport teams and more. This Thursday, we’re featuring everything from the shock news that Labour are exploring mandatory castration in a brutal paedophile crackdown to Man Utd’s financial woes after losing the Europa League final.
Late last night, news broke that Labour were exploring mandatory chemical castration for paedophiles and rapists under plans to curb sex offenders’ vile urges. Early this morning, our politics team revealed that Justice Secretary Shabana Mahmood is exploring whether chemical castration of sex offenders can be made mandatory. Jailed offenders could be forced to undergo hormonal treatment to curb their sexual urges in a move to prevent reoffending.
A voluntary scheme will see sex offenders chemically castrated in two regions in England, covering 20 prisons, as a first step to rolling out nationwide. But Justice Secretary Shabana Mahmood is also exploring whether the approach could be made mandatory, rather than just voluntary.
A major review of sentencing, chaired by former Justice Secretary David Gauke and published today, called for more evidence to be gathered on chemical castration – a drug treatment that reduces hormone levels to curb libido. It wants a small pilot, which involves a few dozen inmates in the South West of England, to be continued.

Manchester United put EVERY PLAYER up for sale as catastrophic financial reality laid bare
Manchester United are facing up to financial catastrophe after their Europa League final defeat(Image: Getty Images)
In the wake of their defeat in the Europa League yesterday evening, our sports team revealed Manchester United will listen to offers for EVERY player on their team. No player will be immune from being sold – including captain Bruno Fernandes – as United face up to a catastrophic financial black hole.
The crushing 1-0 loss to Tottenham in Bilbao saw United blow a place in next season’s Champions League – and with it £100million in revenue. Defeat to Spurs means United will not play in Europe at all next season, for only the second time in 35 years and means further cutbacks at the club that has already seen mass redundancies
United’s failure in Bilbao means they also face missing out on signing their top summer targets, including Liam Delap, Matheus Cunha and Victor Osimhen. Without the additional revenue from European games, United will have no choice but to sell players to raise funds for Ruben Amorim to strengthen his squad.

Timothy West, who appeared in shows like EastEnders and Brass over the course of his career, died, aged 90, last year and an inquest into his death took place today

The late Timothy West’s sad final wish has been revealed at an inquest into his death this week. The acclaimed actor is said to have died “peacefully with his family around him” at a care home where he was receiving palliative care.
It was announced in November that actor Timothy – who has been in shows such as Brass and EastEnders – had passed away, aged 90. Now, six months on, a hearing into his death was held at Westminster Coroner’s Court today.
Timothy is said to have been found by a nurse at Wandsworth Common Care Home, where he had been living in the days prior to his death. As reported by PA, he move there after being in hospital for three months following a fall.
The care home’s general manager Thomas Holden gave a statement for the inquest. Mr Holden said that Timothy was admitted with a view to trying to rehabilitate him enough so that he could go home “as he wished to spend his last days there” but that there was a “slow decline” in his health over the days he resided there.
Mr Holden said in a statement read out: “On 12 November his family were with him all day. They continued to stay with him in his room during the evening and he passed away peacefully with his family around him at 19:20.”
Details about his previous fall, months prior to moving into the care home, were also revealed at the hearing. Timothy was admitted to hospital in August last year after the fall near his home, with him later discharged to the care home.

Assistant coroner Ellie Oakley said: “Timothy West had an unwitnessed fall near his home on 11 August 2024 which resulted in a significant traumatic brain injury. It is not possible to determine how the fall happened and there is no evidence of others being involved.
“He was treated in hospital for around three months before being discharged to a care home on 5 November 2024 for palliative care. Unfortunately he was not well enough to be discharged to his home despite receiving appropriate care in the care home. He died on 12 November 2024.”
The inquest heard that members of the public came across him unconscious on a footpath near Wandsworth Common after his fall and an ambulance crew attended. They are said to have taken him to St George’s Hospital in Tooting after a neurological assessment. He remained in hospital for around three months during which time the actor’s loved ones eventually decided to prioritise his “comfort and dignity” and arranged for him to be discharged to the private care home.
A cause of death was also disclosed at the inquest. The medical cause of death was given as a subdural haematoma and extra-axial haemorrhage, with a traumatic brain injury and non-convulsive status epilepticus, aspiration pneumonia and hypertension as contributing factors.

The coroner addressed the family and close friends who viewed proceedings online at the conclusion of the inquest, telling them: “I would like to end by passing on my sincerest condolences to Mr West’s family and friends for this tragic loss of their loved one.”
As reported at the time, in a statement announcing his death last year, Timothy’s children Juliet, Samuel and Joseph West said through his agent: “After a long and extraordinary life on and off the stage, our darling father Timothy West died peacefully in his sleep yesterday evening. He was 90 years old. Tim was with friends and family at the end.
“He leaves his wife Prunella Scales, to whom he was married for 61 years, a sister, a daughter, two sons, seven grandchildren and four greatgrandchildren. All of us will miss him terribly. We would like to thank the incredible NHS staff at St George’s Hospital, Tooting and at Avery Wandsworth for their loving care during his last days.”
