Love Island’s Yasmin Pettet slammed the “laughable” rumours she cheated on Jamie Rhodes with The Traitors star Freddie Fraser as she confirmed their split. After the National Television Awards last week, reports claimed Jamie supposedly told friends Yasmin ‘f***ed off’ by the end of the night.

It was also reported Yasmin had been seen holding hands with The Traitors star Freddie at the same event. And now, Yasmin took to social media to set the record straight and revealed she and Jamie went their separate ways before the NTAs but didn’t “formally announce it yet”.

“We’re still really good friends, and I’ll always have so much love and care for him for making my Love Island experience what it was,” she explained.

Love Island star Yasmin breaks silence on split from Jamie

“I find it laughable that everyone thinks I cheated on Jamie with Freddie from Traitors, which is not true, and anyone who knows me knows my type is late 20s, 30s plus. @__jamierhodes___ is literally the most amazing man ever, and I’m forever grateful for the memories we made and time we spent together.”

Jamie also took to his Instagram page to reveal what actually went down last night as he defended Yasmin.

He said: “There has been a lot of speculation over the past few days about what happened at the NTA’s covered by a lot of different news outlets that really don’t seem to have a straight story. A lot of the stories coming out don’t make any sense as the sources have heard short snippets of conversations that they weren’t apart of, and are subsequently playing a guessing game about the context and facts of each scenario.

“I wasn’t desperately trying to find Yas after the NTA’S I was trying to hitch a ride back to my hotel with Cach and Toni, and when asked where Yas was and I said she f***ed off. This is what I say every time I’m with company and they leave, it’s strong set in my vocabulary.

“It was also said that I was fuming at the a party the following day after the NTA’s when it was the complete opposite actually, it was a great night!”

He continued: “One part that the press have gotten correct is that Yas and I have decided to move away from getting to know each other romantically to just being friends. However unlike the news has said, it was in a very amicable manner and before the NTA’S.

“Yasmin did not cheat on me nor was we in a relationship, we both have big love for one another and want the best for each of us. I hope this clears up any press speculation and puts any rumours to bed. And thank you once again to everyone who supported me and Yasmin inside and outside the villa.”

The apparent split comes weeks after Yasmin explained the pair were yet to be intimate outside the villa. She admitted she had been grieving the loss of her pet cat, Miaow Miaow.

And she praised Jamie for providing her with emotional support during the tough times. She also said the couple weren’t in a rush to progress with the romance.

Sue Cleaver reveals ‘constant worry’ as she makes rare comments about son

Sue Cleaver has admitted she faces “constant worry” as she opened up in a rare admission about her son, who is celebrating a huge birthday this week

Sue Cleaver has reflected on life as a mother and addressed her “constant worry” with rare comments on her son after he turns 30 years old. “30 years ago, I thought I was just having a baby,” the Loose Women star started. “But I didn’t realise that would be 30 years of love, excruciatingly deep love and constant worry.”

The former Coronation Street actress took to Instagram to share a picture of her son and a video where she marvelled at how quickly the time had passed. She added that all the worry has “been worth it” and that she feels “blessed” to have spent a lifetime with her child, despite his annoying tendencies.

“But it’s all been worth it because my boy is 30 today. And I’ve been blessed to have a lifetime of ‘What’s for dinner, mum?’. I’ve been blessed to have a lifetime of him leaving every single cupboard door open and every single light on in the house.

“So, it’s been an honour.” She finished her video by addressing any mums watching: “So, to all mums out there: How the hell did we keep these humans alive when I don’t even feel like a grown-up myself?”

In the caption of her video, she also asked mums what their children did that “drives you mad” but that “secretly makes you smile”.

Sue herself was raised by adoptive parents. The actress revealed on Good Morning Britain last year that she reconnected with her birth mother in her twenties, when fellow actor, Michael C. Harbour, told her she was the “double of his wife”. As it turned out, Michael was married to Sue’s birth mother, Lesley.

After Lesley, who was a 17-year-old single mother, gave birth to Sue in 1963, she placed her daughter up for adoption. Sue was then adopted by Fred and John Cleaver, who also had a son called Paul.

Speaking about when she first met Lesley, Sue said: “It was almost like a love story. The first two weeks were very heady; we had to be around each other, we had to call each other.

“She never ever felt like my mum. My Mum who brought me up is [my] mum. But there was a definite attachment.”

Sue added: “I’ve got two lovely half-sisters. I’m close to them and I see Kate, the youngest one, quite a bit. My Mum and Dad were so welcoming; Lesley came to my father’s funeral. It’s very much like [we’re] part of a bigger family; it’s been lovely.”

Jade Thirlwall vows Little Mix reunion will happen ‘if it’s the last thing she does’

Beloved Geordie singer Jade Thirlwall has vowed that a Little Mix reunion will happen ‘if it’s the last thing she does’ as she continues to enjoy success as a solo artist

Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson, Jade Thirlwall and Leigh-Anne Pinnock split in 2021

Jade Thirwall, the 32 year old singer who shot to fame with Little Mix on X Factor in 2011, has promised a reunion of the iconic girl group.

She made her name alongside Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson and Leigh-Anne Pinnock, forming one of the UK’s most successful girl bands ever.

The band split in 2022, two years after Jesy’s departure, but Jade has since carved out a successful solo career, scoring two Top 10 singles and bagging the Best Pop Act at the 2025 Brit Awards. Despite her solo success, Jade is adamant that a Little Mix reunion will happen, no matter how long it takes.

Speaking to Capital Buzz, the Angel of My Dreams singer said: “There will be a Little Mix reunion if it’s the last thing I do. You know it doesn’t matter how long that takes.”

This week saw the release of Jade’s debut album That’s Showbiz Baby, which includes previously released hits like Angel Of My Dreams, Midnight Cowboy, Fantasy and Plastic Box. The album’s release precedes her first solo tour, which kicks off in October and will see her perform across the UK and Ireland.

Discussing the album, Jade expressed her excitement: “This album has been years in the making, so I’m beyond excited that it’s coming out. I’m very proud of ‘THAT’S SHOWBIZ BABY!’ as a body of work and can’t wait to share it with the world. To be able to perform the album live later this year is also a dream come true. See you all on tour!”

In a surprise move, Jade held a gig at the Angel of the North in Newcastle on Thursday. To celebrate her debut album, Jade gave fans just hours notice of a surprise gig. Despite the short notice, over 1,000 supporters flocked to see her perform live.

Sporting a Newcastle United football jersey, Jade entertained fans with five tracks from inside a converted metal food truck situated in a field just off a motorway. Her proud mum Norma was also spotted at the gig.

Due to limited public transport to the location, fans parked their cars off a slip road to a busy dual carriageway, causing chaos for commuters. Photos from the event show police vehicles arriving after being called to manage the disruption. Despite the chaos, fans seemed to have a great time and Jade was visibly moved by the support she received.

Recently, Jade opened up about her ‘daily battle’ not to turn to Ozempic after years of struggling with eating disorders. In an interview with The Guardian, she confessed: “I have a daily battle with myself not to go on Ozempic.”

“I don’t judge people that do, but because I have a history of eating disorders, I don’t know where taking something like that would end for me.” Although some people use Ozempic to aid weight loss, it is not licensed for this and should only be used by people with diabetes to aid their symptoms.

I’m A Celebrity All Stars line-up as David Haye and Gemma Collins return to the jungle

The Mirror can now reveal the next 10 stars who are confirmed to be taking part in the second All-Stars version of I’m A Celebrity, which has been brought back after proving a big hit hit last time around

It’s been nearly three years since the first I’m a Celebrity: South Africa aired on ITV featuring an all-star cast of memorable characters from across the years.

Now the Mirror can reveal the next 10 stars who are confirmed to be taking part in the second All-Stars version, which has been brought back after proving a big hit hit last time around.

Presenters Ant and Dec have revealed the new series will have a big twist – the final will be filmed live in the UK, meaning that ITV viewers will get the chance to vote for their winner.

Last time it was Myleene Klass who won the title of “legend” in the pre-recorded show, this time it will be down to the audience to decide.

But who will prove the most popular? There may be a couple more names yet to come, but here is our list of the celebrities who have already started filming in South Africa:

David Haye

The boxing star was a hit on the series back in 2012(Image: davidhaye)

The boxer came third in 2012, the year that was won byEastEnder Charlie Brooks, and has since become the poster-boy for throuples – which means a three-way relationship. Should be interesting….

The GC

Gemma Collins turned up in 2014, looked horrified, and ran away again three days later citing personal problems. So the big question is, will she actually make it into the camp? Time will tell.

Harry Redknapp

Ex-football manager Harry won over the public by talking endlessly about his love for wife Sandra and jam roly-poly back in 2018, leading to him becoming the oldest King of the Jungle in the show’s history.

Seann Walsh

The comedian finished in fifth place in 2023, five years after being pictured caught kissing his married Strictly Come Dancing partner Katya Jones while his girlfriend spent her birthday at home alone.

Scarlett Moffatt

The Goggleboxer became Queen of the Jungle in 2016 having been the bookies’ favourite right from the start. Now a mum to a toddler, her Geordie humour is sure to prove as entertaining as ever.

Adam Thomas

The former soap star has done just about every reality show going, so it’s no surprise that he’s been confirmed for a second stint in the jungle. In 2016 he lost out to Scarlett – will it happen again?

Sir Mo Farah

Since the celebrated, gold-medal winning Olympian took part back in 2020, he has revealed that Mo isn’t his real name – he was trafficked to the UK under a false identity as a child. Plenty to talk about.

Ashley Roberts

The Pussycat Doll was in the same group as David Haye back in 2012, finishing runner-up to Charlie Brooks. She’s dated Giovanni Pernice in the past so we might get a bit of Strictly goss?

Sinitta

The singer, best known for her long friendship with Simon Cowell, took part back in 2011 and was a late entrant. Once the voting began she was the second to go – perhaps this time she can do a bit better?

Craig Charles

Corrie fave and Radio 6 Music DJ Craig had a terrible time in 2014, when he left after four days having learned his brother Dean had suffered a fatal heart attack. Hope he has a happier time in South Africa.

Molly-Mae Hague branded ‘too soft’ as Bambi lists kids at nursery she wants to bite

Love Island star Molly-Mae Hague was slammed by fans who said her parenting was ‘too soft’ after her daughter started listing the names of children she wanted to bite

Molly-Mae Hague was accused of being ‘too soft’ by mum-shamers after Bambi, the two-year-old daughter she shares with Tommy Fury, listed the names of children at nursery she wants to bite. Last month, the Love Island star, 26, was slammed after she refused to discipline her baby after she bit a child.

And in a new video, Bambi was heard listing the kids she hoped to bite next while standing on Molly-Mae’s lap. After running errands at an interior store, the Maebe founder sat in her car and explained: “That interior shop was absolutely stunning by the way, but Bambi really tested me in there.”

The “mentally exhausted” mum-of-one then said: “Taking her socks and shoes off and just literally wasn’t playing ball. So we left.”

Once they arrived home, Bambi wasted no time in sharing her plans to bite a few kids with her mother.

“I’m gonna bite someone,” the adorable tot said after Molly-Mae sang to her and cuddled her. “I’m gonna bite Dory.”

The reality star was quick to discipline her daughter, stating that she shouldn’t bite people. Molly-mae said: “Oh, no, no. We don’t use our mouth to bite, do we? What do we use our mouth for?”

Bambi soon responded: “For food,” before Molly-Mae praised her and added: “Yeah, for food. For eating. We bite our food, we don’t bite anyone.”

Her quick lesson proved to be futile as Bambi went back to listing names and said: “I’m going to bite Emily. We bite… Dory.”

Molly-Mae laughed and shut it down, telling her daughter: “No. Don’t know why I’m laughing at that. We bite croissants. We bite pasta. We bite pizza.”

Fans were divided by the teachable moment, with one fan quipping: “The switch up to the biting sent me. Bambi is low-key key all of us. And so precious!”

“I was dying when Bambi said, I bite Emily. I bite, I bite,” one said. “Cracking up… I know u were trying to keep from laughing seeming as this was an issue w/ Bambi before, I was hollering, she’s so stinkin’ smart.”

However, those who saw the video on TikTok were less amused, with one commenting: “I’ve never heard/known a child to openly say they’re going to bite a kid,” and one said: “She turns it into a game…. Molly is too soft.”

A second person commented: “The threat is wild,” while another user posted: “Molly needs to learn how to change her tone and face when she’s being serious.”

Last month, Molly-Mae admitted Bambi bit someone at nursery, but felt ‘slightly better’ after learning “all the children seem at the minute to be biting one another.”

She said: “One of my good friends, her daughter, is in the same class. And her daughter has been bitten like every day this week. It’s really, really sad, it’s horrible.

“It’s so confusing, because if we talk to her about it when we put her in the car, are we giving her the attention that she wants from the biting? But 100 per cent, if I was watching this video right now I’d be thinking no, you need to tell her it’s not okay. Because it’s not okay.”

Love Island’s Toni Laites backed for huge US presenting role by former winner

Love Island winner Toni Laites has been tipped for a huge presenting role in the US by former champ Cara De La Hoyde, who has shared her advice for life after the villa

Toni is backed by a former Love Island winner to front a huge US show

Love Island winner Toni Laites has been tipped for a huge presenting role Stateside – with former champ Cara De La Hoyde backing her to front a huge show.

Cara, who won the ITV2 dating show in 2016 alongside now-husband Nathan Massey, has shared her insider advice for life after the villa, urging Toni to grab every opportunity that comes her way – while warning that fame after the show can be short-lived.

While talking about Toni’s opportunities, Cara said: “I think take as much as you can get because you’ve got a short period, babe, so go get that money! I think she should go and do Aftersun for the American series. She’d be really good for that. I’m sure we’ll see her back on TV anyway, she’s great.”

Toni, who stole the nation’s hearts when she won her series earlier this summer, has already been at the centre of rumours about new TV projects. And Cara insists that while Toni’s grounded upbringing will keep her level-headed, she should strike while the iron is hot and front Love Island USA: Aftersun.

“She’s obviously got a very nice grounded family, so I don’t think she would turn into a diva,” Cara explained. “You should take every opportunity that comes your way and do as much as you can because All Stars will roll around quickly and then the next main series is gonna roll around quickly too.”

Cara also weighed in on the much-anticipated Love Island: All Stars, which is set to return in early 2026. While she admitted she’s a fan of the format, she confessed she has concerns about whether there are enough big names left to keep audiences hooked.

“I love it, but I’m just worried about who they can bring back that people are going to be gagging to see, and who is actually gonna want to do it,” she said.

“Obviously you’ve got people like Ovie [Soko] and Maura [Higgins], but let’s be realistic, they’re not going to do it. They’re doing big things in their career, they’re doing amazing things.”

The mum-of-two added, speaking in conjunction with Slingo: “The thing is with a show like All Stars, there is a limit because you can’t just keep bringing people back. Even when you watch Drag Race, the All Stars at the beginning, you’re like, ‘oh my God, Alaska’s in it, this is amazing’, and then it gets to season 14, and it doesn’t have the same impact.”

Cara also opened up about the reality of leaving the villa in a couple, revealing that she and Nathan rushed into living together far too quickly.

“Me and Nathan, we basically moved in together after like two months – which is the most ridiculous thing to do,” she laughed. “We’d been together for 6 weeks, we thought we knew everything about each other. That was the worst decision we could have ever made because although you’ve been with this person, you haven’t actually been in the real world with them.”

Despite her warning, Cara and Nathan went on to tie the knot in 2019 and share two children. But she admits not every couple will survive – and islanders should prepare for that.

“When people come out as couples now, you do your work as a couple, but you need to find as well what you want to do for yourself,” she explained. “In six months’ time, a year’s time, you might not be together, and if you end up basing your whole brand on being a couple and you have not actually carved anything out for yourself, it’s a bit like, oh, what do I do now?”

Toni and Cach
Toni is currently in the UK, living with Cach

Her advice? Be a little selfish. “If you’re in a couple, you need to also be selfish, make your own brand and do your own thing and work out what you wanna do as well, and then do things as a couple,” she added.

Looking back almost a decade since she first stepped into the villa, Cara says she’s proud of her Love Island journey – and insists she’ll never slate the show.

“I love it. I’m proud that I’ve done it. I think it’s great. I’m not one of these people that looks back and slates Love Island. You’re all adults going into it, you all know what you’re signing up for,” she said.

Cara added: “When people slate others for going in there to get followers, I think fair play to them. They’re trying to make their life better, which in turn can make their family’s life better, and I think, good luck to them. They’re young, they’re having a laugh.”

With her words of wisdom, Cara seems confident Toni is destined for bigger things – and fans could soon see her fronting the US spin-off. Watch this space.

Cara was speaking in conjunction with Slingo’s AR Rooftop Chase .
