Nicola Peltz breaks silence after David Beckham knighthood in stab at in-laws

After David Beckham’s knighthood, his son Brooklyn missed the ceremony, so Nicola Peltz Beckham broke her silence by sharing a sweet post with his sister.

As father David surpassed his knighthood ambition, Nicola Peltz and Brooklyn Beckham, both of whom were absent from Windsor Castle on Tuesday, were notable guests.

Although David had invited the entire family over, including his wife Victoria, his parents, Cruz, Romeo, and Harper, eldest son Brooklyn and Nicola did not attend the lavish gathering. The absent couple also didn’t participate in the thousands of social media messages David received about their success.

Brooklyn avoided the outpouring of love for his father, who was honored for his contributions to charity and sport, by choosing to stay completely away from his accounts. The separated couple chose to spend the day in London thinking about anything but Brooklyn’s family instead, miles away in their Los Angeles home.

Nicola has now taken to Instagram in her first post since David’s knighthood, but again failed to mention the momentous occasion. Instead Nicola reached out to her sister, who she remains on speaking terms with, Brittany Peltz.

Nicola thanked her sibling for the enormous amount of peonies she had, and thanked her. They are breathtaking. but forgot to mention the purpose of the flowers.

Despite David’s unsuccessful attempts to reach out to her and Brooklyn since June, it was reported this week that Nicola is still “not ready” to reconcile with her in-laws.

Victoria’s relationship with her son and his wife is also said to be peaceful. Attempts to reach a truce have all been unsuccessful so far, though.

The source stated that Nicole is “not ready to make nice.”

Nicola allegedly refused to wear a wedding gown that her mother-in-law had created, sparking the alleged family feud. The actress-model requested Victoria to design her bridal gown in 2022, but months before her big day, she realized she couldn’t do it.

Instead, Nicola made the decision to walk down the aisle wearing a Valentino couture gown. She never said you couldn’t wear it, nor did she say you didn’t want to. They then fled with that, according to Nicola, who described the feudal origin story.

Nicola mentioned her husband Brooklyn on the Tatler cover in 2022, claiming he had a difficult start in life.

Brooklyn was under a “lot of pressure to please people with his career,” according to Nicola, who claimed Brooklyn was now able to speak to her billionaire father, Nelson Peltz, for career guidance.

Brooklyn expressed his unwavering support for his wife earlier this year when he said he would “always choose her” in the midst of the family feud.

He and Nicola were notably absent from a number of recent family gatherings, including David’s celebrations for his 50th birthday.

Olympics legend Denise Lewis, 53, splits from husband after 17 year marriage

After 18 years of marriage, Dame Denise Lewis, a former Olympic gold medalist, has wed her music mogul husband Steve Finan. In a Tuesday Instagram post, the 53-year-old former athlete confirmed the news.

In a statement, Denise stated, “Steve and I decided to split up two years ago as a couple, after much thought and consideration.

After many meaningful years of dating, the couple made the decision with mutual respect and love.
“We continue to be appreciative of the time and the wonderful children they gave.”

We value the kindness and support our friends and family have given us over the past two years, and keeping a positive co-parenting relationship and putting our best interests at heart on the well-being of those we care about most matters a priority.

We appreciate your patience with this situation and as we progress.

In 2006, Denise Lewis and Steve Finan O’Connor (Niki Nikolova/FilmMagic) wed.

According to reports, Mr. Finan, 60, who served as the late Liam Payne’s manager for seven years, had left the Buckinghamshire home he shared with Denise and their three sons.

It’s a shame because they are both lovely people and have always been viewed as a wonderful couple, according to a source who spoke to The Mail on Sunday.

Steve and Denise simply found themselves stumbling apart from one another despite making the effort work.

They ultimately decided that ending their relationship was probably the best course of action.

During her run as a pundit for the BBC’s coverage of the 2024 Olympics, hip-hop star Denise was spotted without her wedding ring on air, and her social media accounts are bare of any images of her and Steve.

In the 2016 Christmas special, Denise Lewis danced with Anton Du Beke (BBC/Guy Levy), who also performed with Anton Du Beke.

Additionally, it appears that the two have unfollowed one another on social media.

Tom O’Connor’s son, Steve, and Denise met in 2000 through mutual friends at the Brit Awards, when he was then a pop manager looking after acts like Neneh Cherry and All Saints.

After Denise’s breakup with Belgian sprinter Patrick Stevens, the father of her daughter Lauryn, they reconnected and began dating.

In 2006, Denise stated, “I was still with Patrick when I first met Steve, and then we later met again, and it was sort of love at first sight.”

When Denise and her husband were approached about their split in November of 2024, Denise said she would not comment on their relationship but would not deny their separation.

At the time, Steve and a Denise spokeswoman declined to comment.

It had been reported that Mr Finan, 60, who was the late Liam Payne’s manager for seven years, had moved out of the home he shared with Denise in Buckinghamshire, where the pair lived with their three sons.

One source told The Mail on Sunday at the time of the report: “It’s such a shame because they are both lovely people and were always thought of as a wonderful couple.

“Despite trying to make it work, Steve and Denise just found themselves drifting apart from one another.

“In the end they decided that breaking up was probably the most sensible thing to do.”

ITV Lorraine star addresses being drunk live on show after apologising to bosses

Dr. Hilary Jones, a regular guest on Lorraine Kelly’s show, addressed his future on the program ahead of a significant ITV shake-up, saying he thankfully “got away with” the encounter.

Lorraine show regular Dr Hilary Jones has opened up about a time he appeared on the programme while “drunk” – and later apologised to bosses. The professional medic has been a firm fixture on the show for several years, providing his expertise on a wide range of health topics. Reflecting on the early days of his appearances, Dr Hilary, 72, recalled a moment when his professionalism slipped while live on air.

He explained that he had met two of his brothers to celebrate having run the New York Marathon. I had no alcohol, no food, and plenty of beer, of course. On Lorraine’s show, I was scheduled to perform a live segment from a far away studio in Times Square.

The doctor claimed that Lorraine was “suddenly live” and that he was being questioned as he attempted to figure out the remote camera setup.

Because I was a little too drunk, all I can recall is giggling, laughing, and talking rubbish. I then realized that I had made a big mistake: They were going to fire me. What did I say?

Dr. Hilary claimed that he called the show’s bosses the day after fearing that his position had been compromised.

“I called them and said, “I’m really sorry,” and they responded, “Why?” You just sounded happy, and you sounded brilliant! It was very energetic and lovely, and you sounded euphoric. I escaped punishment for it, then.

Dr. Hilary has continued to appear on the program frequently since that humorous incident, speaking about the nation’s medical concerns.

However, next year will bring major changes to ITV’s schedule. From 2026, Lorraine and Loose Women will be shortened from an hour to 30 minutes and air on a “seasonal basis”.

Dr. Hilary remarked on his future involvement, saying, “I think I’ll be making guest appearances. Although the plan is still being developed, I will still have medical advice. I believe I’ll still be on breakfast TV because I’ve been with them for so long.

Meanwhile, Lorraine has shared her thoughts on the changes to the programme she has fronted since 2010.

“It’s a different world we live in, isn’t it? I’m a realist and I knew there had to be cutbacks and changes. There are so many more outlets now, and television has to cut its cloth in every single department. It’s not like it was,” she told Woman Magazine.

She continues to believe in the future despite the adjustments, saying, “This is just another change; who knows what will come next in six months?” They might want to expand, but they might not. We just move forward with it while watching what happens because I enjoy my job and enjoy working with these incredible people. Nothing can ever remain motionless.
