Angellica Bell’s husband Michael Underwood makes rare TV appearance on Celeb Big Brother

Michael Underwood, the wife of Angellica Bell, made a eminently rare TV appearance tonight on Late &Live, the show’s companion on Celebrity Big Brother. He mentioned that his wife is staying at the Big Brother house while he is away.

Angellica, also 49, was supported by former TV presenter Michael, who is known for his presenting roles on CBBC and CITV earlier. He appeared in a ITV interview where host AJ Odudu, 37, discussed housemates’ loved ones with him ahead of tomorrow night’s third eviction.

Since 2010, Angellica and Michael have been married. In recent years, Michael has become a teacher and host of Virgin Radio. The couple is the father of two children.

Michael said that it’s “hard” not being able to speak to his wife while she’s in the Big Brother house while he was talking about his wife on Late & Live tonight. He also expressed his joy at how well-performing she is overall on the program.

He told host AJ on the companion show, “I would tell her she’s doing so brilliantly,” when asked what he would say to Angellica. She is a joy to the entire family. I’m proud.

And it’s the show’s most emotional scene, Michael continued. She is normally known for being extremely strong, strong, and independent. However, you’re aware that the intense circumstance is causing the emotion to creep out, which is obvious.

On a video call with AJ Odudu (left) on Late &amp, Live tonight (ITV/Celebrity Big Brother), Michael Underwood (center) and AJ Odudu (center) spoke.

He continued, “Sometimes I literally have to hold myself back because just looking at her like that makes me want to be there and give her a big cuddle.” and let her know everything will work out. Therefore, it’s difficult for me to speak with her.

AJ also inquired about her friendship with housemates Ella Rae Wise and Danny Beard, who she claimed was “fangirling” after watching Jungle Run host Michael on television as a child. He stated, “Angellica prefers people who are straight talking.”

Danny, the winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race in the UK, was another comment Michael made tonight when he said, “Angellica likes people who are just direct and honest. And that’s Danny, in my opinion. She knows where she stands, he’s funny, and he talks direct.

He said, “In the years that I’ve been married to Angellica, she’s had to deal with people who she doesn’t read or who she doesn’t trust. They act in those kinds of behaviors when they say something and then do it. So, in my opinion, why does she like Danny?

Angellica Bell, who is currently one of the remaining housemates on Celebrity Big Brother (ITV/Celebrity Big Brother), was supporting Michael.

Michael continued on the show by referring to Ella from Only Way is Essex, adding, “And with Ella she sees the vulnerability, I think. When Ella and Angellica and Danny interact, in my opinion, is at their best. She simply feels more introspective.

Angellica was one of the thirteen celebrities who stepped into the Big Brother studio last Monday to watch the new season. Three housemates have already left, making her one of the ten who are still living in the house prior to tomorrow night’s eviction. Tomorrow, Daley Thompson and Patsy Palmer will be forced out.

Tomorrow night at 10:30 p.m. on ITV2 and ITVX, Late & Live will air. It will begin airing right after Celebrity Big Brother’s live eviction, which will be available on ITV, ITVX, STV, and STV Player starting at 9 p.m.

Ella Rae Wise under fire after ‘backtracking’ amid Patsy Palmer Celeb Big Brother clash

Celebrity Big Brother viewers saw tension brewing between EastEnders star Patsy Palmer and TOWIE’s Ella Rae Wise on the ITV show tonight when the housemates played a game

Celebrity Big Brother viewers have reacted to tension between Patsy Palmer and Ella Rae Wise. It came during a discussion between some of the remaining housemates on the ITV show about their personal lives.

Ten celebrities remain in the Big Brother house in the new series, which launched last week. The group includes EastEnders cast member Patsy – who was saved by the public from the second eviction on Tuesday night – and the Only Way is Essex star Ella.

Tensions began to rise on tonight’s episode between Patsy and Ella amid the housemates playing a game of ‘Never Have I Ever’ together. RuPaul’s Drag Race UK winner Danny Beard asked his fellow housemates if they had ever “hooked up with a really famous person”. Ella then teased: “Never Have I Ever had a really famous celebrity in my DMs.”

Ella went on to say that she had a “naughty one,” because “he’s got a wife,” message her on social media. Patsy told her: “No, you better not share that. Don’t share things about people with wives.” She then told Chesney Hawkes: “I hate that kind of thing. It brings it low. Like, we’re not scum of the earth.”

Addressing the reaction, Ella said: “Why is everyone so serious today? Pats made me feel really bad about saying that. But I didn’t reply to the DMs. I didn’t reply.”

Patsy added: “I think it’s sometimes good to flag up because everyone gets carried away. You do have to be protective of yourself because you might regret it in the morning. You know how things can go and it’s not nice.” Following the remarks, Ella assured that the message had been received from the celebrity – whom she didn’t name – before he had been married.

Viewers shared their thoughts on X. One person wrote: “Ella totally backtracked when Patsy called her out on it.” Another said similarly in a post tonight: “Ella changing her story after Patsy rightly so told her not to mention anything about a married man. ‘Oh he wasn’t married then’ please.”

A third said: “Ella genuinely made it sound like he had a wife at the time of the DM and he messaged back. like she wanted to stir the pot then changed the story to he never replied and before he had a wife?” Alongside a laughing and crying emoji, one fan said: “THE BACKTRACKING FROM ELLA ‘No this was before he was married’.” Someone else said: “Lmfao Ella backtracking saying he wasn’t married yet…”

Others agreed with Patsy over the situation. One fan wrote: ” Yeah Patsy [is] right on that one, Ella keep quiet on that one..” Someone else said: “Patsy right why does Ella have to advertise someone else life that maybe don’t want to be exposed.”

Some viewers instead appeared disappointed that Patsy shut down the discussion. One person wrote: “I get what Patsy is trying to say but I also wanted to know who slid into Ella’s DMs smh.” Another said: “Oh Ella get yourself back on the Challenge! You can share that juicy gossip on there without the likes of Patsy getting upset.”

It isn’t the first time that Ella has spoken about her personal life on Celebrity Big Brother. She was seen in tears last week just days into the experience whilst speaking to JoJo Siwa and Angellica Bell about her latest relationship coming to an end recently.

Ella had been in a relationship with TOWIE co-star Dan Edgar prior to entering the Big Brother house. Last week though, it was announced that they had split up, with Ella then telling her co-stars that it happened “like a week ago”.

After saying that she was “alright,” Ella was seen in tears as the other two housemates comforted her. She said: “Thank you. It’s just one of them things. I just feel like an idiot because everyone … I just knew he weren’t gonna be what I wanted him to be. And I thought maybe he might for me but he’s just …”

She told them: “And I don’t want to waste years trying to change someone. Do you know what I mean?” Angellica replied: “That just shows strength.” Ella then commented: “Just have to let it be. It doesn’t mean we can’t be friends.”

Ella had aannounced that her 18 month relationship with Dan had come to an end shortly before entering the Big Brother house last week. She said that while their chemistry was undeniable, she wanted more from the romance than just physical attraction.

She told the Sun: “It was a decision that I had to make because I didn’t feel that we were getting things that we wanted out of each other.” Ella said: “We can be best friends, but if something’s missing, what are we wasting our time for?”

Sharing her thoughts, Ella suggested that Dan is “very set in his ways,” adding that she can’t “expect someone to change”. She added: “And if he’s comfortable in how he is and if he thinks what he gives in a relationship is enough, that’s okay because that can be enough for someone.” Ella continued by stating that it’s “just not enough” for her though.

Dan has since addressed the break-up. He said in a statement: “The past week has seen a strange turn of events and things have been said that I didn’t really want to comment on, but to put it straight, Ella and I agreed to go our separate ways amicably last week, and were speaking right up until she left to go into the house.”

He added in the statement issued last week: “I think we both have our reasons for why it wasn’t working out, but there are certain things in life I would rather keep private. I wish her all the best and hope she enjoys her experience.”

Celebrity Big Brother continues tomorrow night with its live eviction from 9pm on ITV, ITVX, STV and STV Player. Late & Live will then air from 10.30pm on ITV2 and ITVX.

Angellica Bell slammed as ‘guilt hits’ after tense Celebrity Big Brother clash

Angellica Bell nominated both Daley Thompson and Patsy Palmer for eviction and then cried as the results were announced – and fans think she was faking the emotion to hide her guilt

Angellica Bell became emotional during Celebrity Big Brother tonight, but fans think they were crocodile tears. The CBBC alum started crying after the nominations were revealed, despite having voted for the very two people facing eviction.

Retired athlete Daley Thompson and EastEnders star Patsy Palmer were the two who got the most nominations from their housemates and could be facing the boot from the public. Daley was nominated by Patsy alongside Chris Hughes and comedian Donna Preston.

Meanwhile, Patsy was nominated by Chris. Danny Beard, former Dance Moms star JoJo Siwa and the Only Way is Essex’s Ella Rae Wise. Notably, Angellica also voted for both Patsy and Daley as her two choices.

As soon as Big Brother announced the nominees the celebs were quickly distracted by Angellica, who seemed to be quietly crying at the news. As people asked what was up, she said: “Just know, everyone, it’s really emotional for me as well. Just that I love you all. I’m going to have a shower, it’s quite stressful isn’t it.”

“Bless you Angellica,” someone said as she started walking away, while Patsy said: “Honestly, don’t be stressed because I’m fine with it.” “It’s a game, it’s fine,” Daley said, with Angellica having already left the room. Patsy added: “Everyone’s got to go, we’re not just in there saying nothing are we?”

On X, formerly known as Twitter, fans quickly noted that Angellica had nominated both Patsy and Daley, and suggested she was covering her tracks with her emotional response. “Both of Angellica’s nominee’s facing eviction- the guilt hit her then,” one person said, with another adding: “Angellica showing love but nominated Patsy WTF?”

“Angellica you voted for Patsy, don’t be two faced dorlin,” with someone else pointing out that “she voted Daley too.” Another fan simply joked: “Angellica and Patsy were besties on launch night and now they’re starting to despise each other lollll.”

This isn’t the first time Angellica has broken down in tears on the show. The star recently shared an emotional chat with fellow housemate Danny, who told her that she was his inspiration growing up – and Angellica gushed over her children’s TV career.

“I’m really proud of it, but it is quite emotional,” she while holding back the tears. “What I love about children is that they’re so open, they’re not tarnished by sinisterism, the world or by life.”

The star then went on to tell a story about a letter she found from a young girl who wrote to her. “She sent a picture of herself and her brother, and she said that she wants to get into acting – and by watching me she’s going to go for her dreams.

“Obviously her name’s on it, so I looked her up, and she’s gone on to be a teacher, and she went to drama school,” Angellica explained with tears in her eyes. “I feel like they’re my babies.”

Daley Thompson stuns Celeb Big Brother co-stars with awkward Dave Beckham run-in

Daley Thompson’s Celebrity Big Brother housemates couldn’t believe his interaction with footballing legend David Beckham which turned out to be very awkward

Daley shocked his housemates with his surprising revelation

Celebrity Big Brother featured a jaw dropping moment on Wednesday night’s episode as Daley Thompson told his housemates a story about his run in with a young David Beckham. He made his revelation during a game of Never Have I Ever where the housemates were challenged to make some shocking confessions.

CBBC star Angellica Bell kicked things off, asking: “Have you ever been rude to a fan?” Without hesitation, Daley put his hand up, and told a story that left his co-stars open mouthed.

He shared: “Back in the day when I was training at Crystal Palace, I was pole vaulting – head down, totally focused. This kid comes up to me asking for an autograph. I said, ‘no not now, I’m really busy’. He tells me his school’s only there for an hour and I just told him no again. He walks off.”

It was what came next that left the house in total shock. Daley continued: “A few years later, I meet the kid again and he says to me, ‘you told me to f*** off’. I said, ‘yeah, not sure I did’… It was David Beckham.”

After a few moments of silence Coronation Street star Jack P Shepherd couldn’t hold back, and called the story “brilliant”. Chesney Hawkes chimed in adding: “That’s a good one.”

Daley admitted he isn’t totally sure if he actually swore at the future football icon – but fans still went wild for the unlikely crossover. Elsewhere in the house, a heated exchange unfolded between EastEnders’ Patsy Palmer and The Only Way Is Essex star Ella Rae Wise. The drama kicked off when Danny Beard, winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK season four, asked if anyone had ever “hooked up with a really famous person”.

Wise confessed that a married celebrity had been sliding into her DMs, which didn’t sit well with Patsy who advised her against sharing such stories, especially about married individuals. She expressed her distaste to Hawkes, saying: “I hate that kind of thing. It brings it low. Like we’re not scum of the earth.”

Overhearing Palmer’s comments, Wise questioned why everyone was so serious, adding: “Pats made me feel really bad about saying that. But I didn’t reply to the DM. I didn’t reply to the DM.”

Patsy responded by advising Ella to be cautious, as she might regret her actions later on. She said: “I think it’s sometimes good to flag up ’cause everyone gets carried away. But you do have to be protective of yourself ’cause you might regret it in the morning. You know how things can go and it’s not nice.”

Ella clarified that the message was sent before the unnamed celebrity got hitched. Thursday night’s episode also saw the housemates nominate one another again.

It comes just two days after chat show legend Trisha Goddard became the second celebrity to be voted out by the public. So far, Sir Michael Fabricant has been evicted. Elsewhere, Hollywood legend Mickey Rourke was also booted out of the show by Big Brother.

Celebrity Big Brother airs at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX.

Celebrity Big Brother nominations in full as unexpected star faces eviction

A housemate who has yet to face the public vote is among those up for nomination on Celebrity Big Brother. The result of the latest nominations has been revealed ahead of the third live eviction taking place later this week.

The new series of the ITV launched just last week when thirteen celebrities entered the Big Brother house for the second series of the broadcaster’s revival. Ten housemates remain on the reality TV show at the moment but it’s been confirmed that there will be another eviction tomorrow.

It’s been announced on tonight’s episode that retired athlete Daley Thompson and EastEnders star Patsy Palmer are the latest housemates to face the public vote. It comes after Patsy was saved from the last eviction on Tuesday.

Daley and Patsy – who has expressed interest in leaving the Big Brother house lately to reunite with her family – received the most nominations from their fellow housemates. It means that they are now up for eviction tomorrow night.

Four housemates voted for Daley as part of the house’s third opportunity to nominate each other, with Patsy among those who nominated him. He was also nominated by presenter Angellica Bell, Love Island finalist Chris Hughes and comedian Donna Preston.

Patsy instead received five nominations. Angellica and Chris were among those who voted for the soap star. She was also nominated by RuPaul’s Drag Race UK winner Danny Beard, former Dance Moms star JoJo Siwa and the Only Way is Essex’s Ella Rae Wise.

Viewers are being asked to vote to save their favourite of the two nominated housemates. The outcome of the vote will be revealed by hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best in tomorrow night’s live eviction ahead of an interview with the evictee.

The latest nominations come shortly after the second eviction, which took place on Tuesday night. Presenter Trisha Goddard was voted out of the Big Brother house that night after having been up against Patsy and Coronation Street star Jack P. Shepherd.

The three of them had received the most votes from their fellow housemates in the last nominations. Patsy had six nominations, whilst Jack and Trisha were named by four housemates. Trisha ended up losing the public vote.

Trisha became the second housemate to be evicted following politician Michael Fabricant having been evicted on the show last Friday. Actor Mickey Rourke was then asked to leave the house over the weekend following “unacceptable behaviour,” for which he’s apologised – meaning that three housemates have already left the new series.

Following her departure, Trisha told hosts AJ and Will in her exit interview: “It was an absolutely fantastic experience [being in the Big Brother house]. Trisha – who’s been diagnosed with cancer – also shared that she was “a bit sad” to be leaving, adding: “It meant a lot [to be there]. It was respite, a holiday, from having to think about cancer.”

Celebrity Big Brother continues with its live eviction on Friday night from 9pm on ITV, ITVX, STV and STV Player. Companion show Late & Live will air straight after the episode from 10.30pm on ITV2 and ITVX.

Patrick Adiarte dead: MASH star dies after devastating health struggle

Acting legend Patrick Adiarte has died after a long struggle with illness. The M*A*S*H legend died in hospital from pneumonia at the age of 82.

Patrick’s niece, Stephanie Hogan, confirmed the news to The Hollywood Reporter, stating that he died in Los Angeles on April 15.

The actor was born on August 2, 1943, in Manila, the Philippines, but became huge in the United States for his great character roles. Alongside playing Ho-Jon in the beloved war comedy M*A*S*H, he is also known for his roles as Prince Chulalongkorn in hit musical The King & I, and T.J. Padmanagham in High Time.

Patrick had a glowing career on television alongside stage and the silver screen, and had a special guest role in The Brady Bunch, leading the family through their tumultuous trip to Honolulu. He again appeared on the island in Hawaii Five-O, and carried on the crime theme in Kojak.

Patrick Adiarte, known for incredible character roles across TV, film, and theatre, has died aged 82

On X, formerly known as Twitter, many fans have penned moving tributes to the actor and reminisced about the huge impact he had in the 60s and 70s.

“Sad to read this news. Patrick Adiarte gave Ho-Jon wonderful depth, I always enjoy seeing the episodes that feature him. #RestInPower,” one person wrote.

“Very sad to hear that Patrick Adiarte has passed away. An amazing dancer and a protege of Gene Kelly, who cast him in the original Broadway production of Flower Drum Song, he also almost steals the film version from the actors with bigger roles,” said a second.

Rodgers & Hammerstein – the brains behind The King & I – even noted Patrick’s time working on their show, writing: We’re so saddened to hear the news of Patrick Adiarte’s passing. Our thoughts are with his loved ones at this time.”

Gene Kelly spotted Patrick’s talent, and mentored him as a dancer alongside his acting career

At the time Patrick was in The King & I, he and his family didn’t even have American citizenship. His father had been killed while working as a captain in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, while Patrick was imprisoned by the Japanese alongside his mum and sister.

The trio moved to New York when Patrick was just a small child, and faced threats of deportation for years. It was only when Senator John F. Kennedy got involved in 1956 – thanks to Patrick’s work in The King & I – that he and his remaining living family were recognized as US citizens.

Patrick was a well-known dancer alongside his acting work, frequently appearing on the dance show Hullabaloo. He made a big splash with his moves, with Gene Kelly personally picking him out of the crowd to personally mentor the younger star.

The talented dancer and actor married singer and actress Loni Ackerman in 1975, remaining with her until their divorce in 1992. Alongside niece Stephanie, Patrick is survived by a nephew, Michael.
