In an effort to feel like her “normal self” once more and be “natural,” Lauren Goodger has revealed that she wants to have her breast implants removed after 11 years.

The 38-year-old former TOWIE star revealed her plans to reduce breast size in a candid Instagram post on Monday, May 5, alongside a photo of her donning pink lingerie. She remarked, “One of the things I regret later in life is having a breast augmentation 11 years ago.” I used to have the ideal boobs, but they have since changed and made me look bigger than before.

Also, they are heavy, and I miss my old boob so much that I’ve found someone to be interested in having my consultation with @marksolomos! I’ve wanted them removed for a long time, but it’s the last thing I can do because I’ve been waiting for anxiety to end them.

“I’m bringing you along with me, but it’s still in its early stages!” I’m terrified, but I’m also having implants removed to return to my normal self and want to restore everything to how it was before.

Lauren, who first appeared on TOWIE in 2010 and was first portrayed on the show in 2010, underwent a 34D breast augmentation in 2014. She previously said she loved her breasts, but she recently expressed regret for the procedure.

The Essex mother, who lost her daughter Lorena shortly after giving birth in 2022, also underwent a “brazilian butt lift” (BBL) in Turkey in 2017. She now regrets deeply that she removed the fat from her stomach, thighs, back, and hips and injected them into her bum.

She stated to Closer just last year, “I looked the b****ks when I had everything finished. I adored how my boobs looked in pictures and received so much attention. But I now regret not having anything. I want to know everything.

My bum and boobs make me look bigger and hurt me, they say. I want to go back to being natural and change everything.

Lauren also told OK! magazine last year that she didn’t want “anything fake” in her body but was concerned about reversing the surgery. She said: “I don’t want any silicone in my body – I don’t want anything fake.

My boobs should be natural, I want. These large, plastic objects on top of your lungs are not good for you. Because of my boobs, I have trouble breathing and am constantly out of breath. I’m unable to purchase any bras or dresses that will fit me. They are “absolutely massive.”

She said, “When you get things done when you’re younger, it’s great.” I felt fantastic, felt fantastic, and had a great time with them. They no longer look as good as they did when I was older, I had two kids, and I breastfed them. They’ve dropped, they’re absolutely massive, and they make me look bigger. I’d probably look half the size if I got rid of them.

In light of her earlier choices, Lauren wants to impart knowledge about the value of health to her own daughter and the younger generation. She expressed her desire for her child to remain the same age as her, even in terms of her hair color.

The former TOWIE star also mentioned that she has Botox three times a year but hasn’t had fillers in more than two years. The TV star, who has also appeared on Celebrity Big Brother, Dancing on Ice, and Celebs Go Dating, stated that she only wants to be “healthier and happier” and doesn’t drink, smoke, vape, or drink coffee.

Four every day foods ‘are banned’ at the Met Gala – this is why

Vogue icon Anna Wintour reportedly banned four surprising foods from the extravagant Met Gala menu. The annual New York event saw countless celebrities gather at the Metropolitan Museum of Art for one of the biggest nights in fashion.

Madonna, Chappell Roan, and Lewis Hamilton were among the many A-listers in attendance yesterday, donning outfits in the theme of ‘Tailored for You’. The stars walked across the blue carpet before heading inside to view the Costume Institute’s spring exhibition while enjoying music and dinner.

Wintour, a former Vogue employee, calls the shots on what chefs can and can’t serve, which allegedly includes a four-essential food ban. Her hit list includes parsley, garlic, onion, and bruschetta, which you might not normally think of as messy spaghetti or corn on the cob.

The source explained that while onion and garlic are notorious for causing bad breath, parsley is off the menu ‘because you don’t want that stuck in your teeth’. Albeit delicious, the New York Post also reported in 2016 that bruschetta can ‘fall easily’ on gowns – a costly mistake.

Kwame Onwuachi was the chef responsible for creating and executing the Met Gala’s 2025 menu. In a recent interview with Vogue, he said that Black experiences of fashion were at the heart of his dishes.

He continued, “We can be poetic as we want, but it has to be good at the end of the day, but it’s pulled from so many different avenues and routes of the diaspora,” adding, “I was inspired by Black dandyism and the Black experience in fashion.”

Guests were given a variety of small dishes at cocktail hour last night. These included hoecakes with crispy chicken, curry chicken patties, and cornbread with caviar.

First course was served as a curry with a piri piri salad and a cucumber in a Caribbean green-seasoning marinade. Then, hot sauce, rice, and peas were served with creole roasted chicken with lemon emulsion.

Dessert was ‘Bodega Special Cosmic Brownie’ – a sugary doughnut mousse treat—and golden cake with honey-sweet cream. Onwuachi added: “All throughout the meal, there are different aspects of blackness throughout the world represented at the highest level.”

‘Makes No Sense’: Hollywood Shocked By Trump’s Film Tariffs Announcement

Hollywood criticized US President Donald Trump’s announcement of 100 percent tariffs on foreign films on Monday, calling it a rash decision by a president who doesn’t understand how the industry operates.

Jonathan Handel, an attorney specializing in entertainment, described Trump’s idea as “making no sense.”

Handel told AFP that many US productions, including James Bond movies and the “Mission Impossible” franchise, were filmed abroad for obvious creative reasons.

What should we shoot at the replica of the Eiffel Tower in Las Vegas if Tom Cruise is performing the stunt of climbing up the tower? said Handel.

Trump stated on his Truth Social platform on Sunday that he authorized the US Trade Representative and the Department of Commerce to immediately impose a 100 percent tariff on any and all foreign-produced movies entering our nation.

“WE WANT MOVIES AGAIN TO BE MADE IN AMERICA”! he wrote.

His words caused uncertainty in the film industry as stock prices fell for entertainment companies, unions struggled to understand whether the bombshell also applies to TV shows, and everyone wondered if the policy could even be put to use.

Also read: Former Vice President Pence warns that Trump’s tariffs could cause US shortages.

According to Handel, movies are intellectual property.

As they enter the United States via a border, they may be taxed on a movie ticket, but they don’t buy it the same way they do a piece of clothing or an automobile.

According to Handel, “These levies would do more harm than good to the US industry,” even if a system could be created to impose tariffs on movies filmed outside of the country.

The result of that would be to lower production, lower movie prices, and lower the number of movies available for streaming services, he said, which would hurt the company’s distribution side.

Governor Gavin Newsom of California called on Monday to work with the Trump administration to “Make America Film Again.”

“We have demonstrated the value of robust state incentives. He wrote on the social media platform X that “it’s time for a real federal partnership to make America film again.” &nbsp,

‘Confusion’

The goal of increasing the production of movies, TV, and streaming in the United States was discussed by unions for actors and other media and entertainment workers.

One such guild, SAG-AFTRA, stated that “we will continue to support policies that strengthen our competitive position, accelerate economic growth, and provide American workers with good middle-class jobs.”

Many film studios and other industry bodies had to wait until Monday to officially respond, but Trump’s announcement reportedly sparked crisis discussions, according to Hollywood media outlets, which led to skeptical comments from insiders who spoke on condition of anonymity.

A top distribution executive’s statement was quoted by a showbiz news outlet as saying, “I can’t see his target here other than confusion and distraction.

Let’s hope this only encourages the person who questioned whether immediate increases in US state tax incentives are necessary.

US movie studios are drawn to foreign films thanks to incentives offered by other nations like Britain, Canada, and Ireland, among others.

Australia, which has long drawn foreign filmmakers to its tax breaks and other cash incentives, said it still wants to produce “great movies” with the United States.

Read more about PwC’s plans to cut about 1,500 jobs in the US.

Australian Foreign Minister, Penny Wong, said on Tuesday that “collaboration is a good thing” in light of Trump’s tariffs, which are threatening the home of Hollywood classics like “The Matrix,” “Elvis,” and “Crocodile Dundee.”

Despite Trump’s divisive idea, there is widespread consensus that the US film industry is in crisis.

Since the historic outbursts by actors and writers that ended it in 2023, Hollywood has struggled to recover.

Without the Covid pandemic, Los Angeles’ total shutdown in 2020 was at a record low in 2024, which included the record-breaking number of filming days there.

This is in part due to the increasing number of nations that offer incentives like tax breaks, among others.

Hollywood film financier, who was quoted by Deadline, claimed that he supported Trump’s plan to have more movies filmed in the US.

“But rebates, not tariffs, are obviously necessary. They were quoted as saying, “Tariffs will just choke the remaining life out of the business.”

The White House claimed that no decisions on foreign film tariffs had been made as Hollywood fretted over Trump’s announcement.

The White House stated in a statement that the administration is “exploring all options” to fulfill President Trump’s request to safeguard our nation’s economic and national security while restoring Hollywood.

Trump asserted to reporters on Monday that he wasn’t trying to hurt the sector. I want to support the sector. However, other nations fund them.

Trump criticized Newsom for pushing for his state to double the tax credits it grants to the movie industry, but that seemingly conciliatory comment fell short of backlash.

From Timothee Chalamet to Dua Lipa – books are the hottest new accessory

A new wave of celebrities launch book clubs and are spotted by the paparazzi holding the hottest books is not just for nerds. A mainstream revival of this cherished pastime is on the horizon.

Popular book-clubs like Reese Witherspoon’s prove reading is cool again(Image: reesesbookclub.com)

Bookworms unite: reading is finally cool again. With everyone from Timothee Chalamet to Bella Hadid getting papped with paperbacks in their hand, it seems having your head in a book is the new hottest look. A recent Reddit thread showcasing famous figures reading books has gained over 5K upvotes, showcasing the hobby’s surge in popularity.

Reese Witherspoon’s Reese’s Book Club, which launched in 2017 and has since gained over 2.9 million Instagram followers, is undoubtedly unavoidable. Dua Lipa, the pop icon who founded Service95’s book club in June 2023 with the intention of presenting a variety of stories around the world, is yet another well-known example. But why is this epoch that, let’s face it, has been viewed as a form of nerdy making a mainstream comeback?

After all, many of us can recall the days when books were associated with being introverted and geeky. Additionally, less of us are currently reading because, according to a YouGov poll, 40% of Brits haven’t finished a book.

However, the trend of posting images of Timothee Chalamet, a classically attractive Timothee Chalamet reading Frank Herbert’s Dune on the New York Subway online served as a cultural reset. Being caught pouring over a novel on the bust had an undeniably avant-garde chic quality.

Some celebrities have even used them to make political statements, but it goes beyond just aesthetics. When Canadian musician Grimes walked out in front of the cameras in 2021 with a copy of The Communist Manifesto in her hands as a “troll” the media, it’s hard to forget.

Of course, reading is also attractive. Perhaps no better example of this is superstar US athlete LeBron James, who regularly posts half-dressed pics of himself glued to a novel on Instagram – including the dystopian bestseller The Hunger Games.

It also has a cultural significance for “men who yearn,” or sensitive, romantic men. Over 60K TikTok posts contain clips of Jane Austen characters eloquently expressing emotions under the hashtag “yearning.” Celebrities with the likes of Cillian Murphy, who are renowned for having sincere public faces, also appear frequently.

Reading a book, especially a good book, has a certain je ne sais quoi that the reader feels a certain way. The activity may have been a result of the timelessness of the 18th-century poets’ longing for love, which were also a part of the romantic era.

Or maybe it’s the aura of mystery that a book contains. It’s harder to interrupt someone who is reading a book versus someone who is on their phone. There is generally a shared understanding that the reader is enveloped in their own world, that their thoughts, at least for the moment, are their own.

Stars Shine At Met Gala, Showcasing Black Dandyism

The brightest stars in Hollywood, music, sports and fashion hit the red carpet Monday for the Met Gala, the extravagant Manhattan fundraiser that this year spotlights the subversive style of Black dandyism.

The blockbuster night’s theme explores the sharply tailored dandy aesthetic and its rich, complicated history. It also celebrates the opening of a corresponding exhibit at the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute.

But for the fashionistas, the Met Gala — always the first Monday in May — is simply one of the world’s top red carpets with blinding star power.

Oscar-nominated actor Colman Domingo and Formula One driver Lewis Hamilton, two of the co-chairs of fashion’s marquee event, were among the early arrivals alongside gala supremo Anna Wintour, the editor-in-chief of Vogue.

Domingo paid tribute to the late Andre Leon Talley, Vogue’s first Black creative director and one of fashion’s towering figures, in a royal blue Valentino cape with a glittering white collar over a snazzy black and gold jacket and gray tweed trousers.

Hamilton meanwhile wowed in a sharp cream suit and matching backwards cap, diamonds glittering in his ears, as well as on his lapel, cuffs and hands.

‘New sense of importance’

The gala comes five years after the enormous anti-racist uprising of the Black Lives Matter movement, which pushed a number of cultural institutions in the United States to grapple with their representation of race and diversity.

This Met theme is years in the making but now coincides with Donald Trump’s recent efforts to quash institutional initiatives to promote diversity — a push to keep culture and history defined on the Republican president’s terms.

The Met Gala and its exhibit, “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style,” promises a sharp contrast to that notion, a deep dive into Black dandyism from the 18th century to today.

“Obviously, this exhibition was planned many years ago, and we didn’t know what would be happening in the political arena, but it’s taken on a new sense of importance and purpose,” Wintour told AFP.

Subversion

Guest curator and Barnard professor Monica Miller’s book “Slaves to Fashion: Black Dandyism and the Styling of Black Diasporic Identity” was the Met’s inspiration.

Her book details how dandyism was a style imposed on Black men in 18th century Europe, when well-dressed “dandified” servants became a trend.

But Black men throughout history subverted the concept as a means of cultivating power, transforming aesthetic and elegance into a means of identity establishment and social mobility.

During the vibrant Harlem Renaissance of the 1920s and 1930s, men wore sharp suits and polished shoes as a show of defiance in racially segregated America.

“Superfine” is a rare Costume Institute exhibition to spotlight men and male fashion, and the first to focus on Black designers and artists.

The Met Gala was first organized in 1948 and for decades was reserved for New York high society — until Wintour transformed the party into a high-profile catwalk for the rich and famous in the 1990s.

It remains a fundraiser for the Costume Institute. The famed Manhattan museum said Monday it expected to rake in $31 million this year.

Stacey Solomon’s reality show regrets as she starts marriage therapy

Although it wasn’t easy for Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash to invite cameras into their home to host their BBC series, a source reports that they are now turning to therapy to repair the marriage’s splits.

When Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash signed up to let cameras into their lives for BBC fly-on-the-wall series, Stacey & Joe: Full House, they might not have envisaged that one of the biggest projects they’d tackle – in front of millions of viewers, would be the cracks in their own relationship.

As the series continues, the pair, who tied the knot in 2022, reveal they’ve turned to marriage therapy to keep their relationship on track. And a source has told OK! that Stacey and Joe perhaps underplayed what a big step it would be, inviting cameras in for every tricky moment.

They underestimated how challenging it would be to conduct this reality show, and moving cameras around and watching it back wasn’t always easy. They won’t deny that their relationship has been difficult due to the pressures of all the children, they said.

The source adds that they are pleased that they made an open letter about couple therapy. They are receiving therapy because they are in love and never want to end their relationship.

They both realize therapy is the best way to improve their relationship and address their issues, saying, “Yes, there have been ups and downs and it’s been quite a rollercoaster.”

For DIY guru Stacey, 34, and former EastEnder Joe, 42, who have five children – Zachary, 16, and Leighton, 12, from Stacey’s previous relationships, and Rex, four, Rose, two, and one-year-old Belle together (Joe also has a teenage son Harry, 16) – not counting the two dogs and four ducks, life at Pickle Cottage is undoubtedly full-on.

And they’ve acknowledged that couples’ therapy has been crucial to maintaining their relationship. They sit down for a heart-to-heart with a counselor and reveal openly about the challenges they face on the show.

Stacey explains that Joe is known for taking everything she says so personally, and that he only spends the minute trying to devote himself to my family. Then to sit here and hear the fact that all I hear is that I am a huge problem in Stacey’s perfect life, “he continues, clearly feeling misunderstood.”

Stacey candidly responds, “I would say this is our biggest issue in our entire relationship,” after hearing Joe’s point of view. Without you taking it personally, I can’t say anything because I’m attacking you as a whole.

Joe and Joe opened up about their relationship in a recent interview with The Times, saying, “We haven’t got all the answers. Our children behave similarly to everyone else’s when they tantrum. We argue, but in the end, it’s usually for the right reasons: we’re trying to figure out what’s best for our family and the kids.

He continued, “We aren’t trying to portray a glamorous lifestyle. We all make mistakes, and raising a family today is not easy. But you learn from it, accept your error, and move on.

Joe also opens up on-air about his experience living with undiagnosed ADHD until adulthood, which he says can affect everything from impulse shopping online – he’s a self-confessed TikTok and Instagram gadget addict – to how he handles stress at home.

“[It’s] part of the ADHD… swings and roundabouts… so I’ve had to order some more medication. I always knew there was something, I mean you probably can tell by my impulsive buys.”

And Stacey doesn’t always agree with her when she says, “I literally spend my life sorting people’s lives out then have to come home and sort my own life out,” “because Amazon has arrived at the door” (p.

Our source goes on to say that Joe occasionally feels like “a different child” to Stacey. She needs to calm him down and remind him to be assertive in the house, too because he frequently gets too excited.

She frequently feels forced to watch him, and it’s no secret that he frequently shops impulsively. She has a lot of kids to deal with and a lot of work to do, so it can be difficult.

The couple’s new series has enthralled fans, as they opened the doors to Pickle Cottage to peel back their real life, warts’n’all. Promoting it, Stacey and Joe were clear that they didn’t want to glamorise their relationship or pretend they had everything figured out – and they’ve stayed true to their word.

The show reveals exactly that, with everything from raw, unfiltered reactions to school GCSE results to Stacey’s sporadic but obvious annoyance at Joe, and Stacey claims they are “just a normal family doing our best.”

“In the end, you relax and think, ‘Oh well, so they saw us get the hump with each other, or they saw us do something wrong’. That’s probably the best thing we could show the world, because everything isn’t perfect,” says Stacey.

Stacey, who is adored by fans for her “tell it like it’s is” style, has previously stressed the value of constant communication in marriage, and the Sort Your Life Out host has always been vocal about how untidy life may be in comparison to what people might expect from her polished Instagram grid. She has a huge following based on her authenticity, whether it’s overflowing classrooms, disorderly school practices, or discussing mother guilt.

The couple are now keen to demonstrate that relationships, like homes, occasionally need some sorting out as life progresses in Stacey and Joe’s busy family home. Despite the well-known rows and tears, it also reveals how devoted these two have always been to one another.
