‘I’ll be wearing Joanie Clothing’s pretty postcard print jumpsuit all summer’

Super comfortable and light, the colorful organic cotton jumpsuit.

This summer, various brands are incorporating the bold design into their clothing, and the vibrant postcard print is roosting in the fashion industry. The retailer, Joanie Clothing, uses the stunning print in a bright short-sleeved jumpsuit that I instantly fell in love with.

The use of a romantic and enchanting watercolour design by Joanie Clothing distinguishes the Ithaca Postcard Print Short Sleeve Boilersuit. The jumpsuit, which retails for £79 and is available in sizes 8 to 26, is lightweight organic cotton with added stretch, making it ideal for all-day wear in the summer.

A hidden button inside the waistband, which emphasizes the waist for a flattering fit, is included in the garment’s neat classic collar and cute button fastenings. The jumpsuit has side pockets, a lining bodice, and slightly cropped legs to keep the wearer cool in the summer.

I immediately went to my bedroom to try on the Ithaca Postcard Print Short Sleeve Boilersuit once it arrived. I knew immediately that the postcard pattern would be one of my favorite summer garments because it is even more stunning in person.

Although I had anticipated that the garment would have slightly creased as it traveled to me, this didn’t happen. I first noticed the jumpsuit’s softness and lightweightness when I first put it on. The elasticated channel at the back of the waist made it feel incredibly cozy.

I’m 5’8″, and the size 14 perfectly fits my body and legs, both of which are the desired length. The jumpsuit had a few loose pieces of thread hanging from the button holes and the collar stitching, but this could be easily fixed by trimming them with scissors.

New Look and Next are two other clothing manufacturers that have used the postcard print. Next’s White Postcard Print 100% Cotton Square Neck A-Line Midi Dress costs £48 and comes in sizes 6 to 22. Next’s White Postcard Print Wide Leg Trousers cost £29.99 and are available in sizes 6 to 18.

When it would keep me nice and cool and the colors would really pop, I waited until the Ithaca Postcard Print Short Sleeve Boilersuit arrived on a sunny day. I wore it for lunch at a beachfront bar with a pair of lilac platform converse during the most recent heatwave to the UK, which turned out to be the best outfit.

The jumpsuit kept me cool despite the pub’s open windows and doors. I can sit for hours without feeling any pain even after eating my meal because it’s so comfy.

I’ll soon be taking a trip to Portugal, and I’ll need a jumpsuit. Because it’s so comfortable, I’ll probably wear it with a pair of sandals on the way home, and then I’ll do the same for an evening of al fresco dining overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.

The Ithaca Postcard Print Short Sleeve Boilersuit has an impressive five-star rating on the Joanie Clothing website, so it seems like I’m not the only one who is obsessed with it. Love this jumpsuit, one delighted customer wrote. The quality of the material, the watercolour print, and the dreamlike fit make it beautiful. Would 100% recommend. “

Another user said, “Love this item, looks fantastic, and has plenty of room in the middle.” I bought my regular size because I’m 34G and it sucked up the top without any gaps. It will be great for vacations because I’m going to wear it for an evening out at a wedding. Very cozy. “

However, one customer was required to “size up,” as they stated in their brochure: “Glo, gorgeous, gorgeous.” Beautiful print is displayed. Because I’m a big girl and a big girl, I went up a size to avoid having to switch on and off. I can’t wait to wear it out because it looks so gorgeous on. Highly recommended.

‘I watch the Club World Cup for free on DAZN – the extras have won me over’

Jake Hackney, a TV journalist for The Mirror, chose to pay nothing to watch the FIFA Club World Cup on DAZN, but his other features impressed him.

Jake Hackney, a TV journalist for the Mirror, set up a free DAZN account to see what all the hype is about as the FIFA Club World Cup kicks off earlier this month. Jake has always equated boxing with DAZN, like many Brits, but he has never truly explored the platform because it has never been his sport.

DAZN is now the only global broadcaster of all 63 Club World Cup games, and it offers free coverage of each game. With a new format featuring 32 of the world’s top clubs, FIFA really pulled out all the stops with the competition.

Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain, Inter Miami, Miami, and Boca Juniors are just a few of the teams flying the Premier League flag. Football fans can sign up for a free DAZN account to watch every game until the final is on July 13.

Jake previously stated to the Mirror that it was strange not to watch football on the BBC or Sky Sports, but that he thinks the streaming service will gain more popularity in the future because of the high caliber of content and quantity of extras on DAZN. Although Jake chose the free plan, Jake also has the option to upgrade to DAZN’s Premium plan starting at £9.99.

Highlights, replays, fewer advertisements, and complete access to the rest of the DAZN platform are included in this list along with every Club World Cup game in HDR picture quality and Dolby 5.1 Surround Sound. In the gap between the Premier League and EFL seasons, there is still plenty of football content to keep fans entertained, even with a free account.

On DAZN, you can watch the Club World Cup for free.

The sheer volume of content on the Club World Cup homepage, which has a plethora of features, shows, and compilations, surprised Jake. Along with DAZN’s “Icons,” which provides an in-depth look at each team and the 12 USA host cities, interviews with famous people like Harry Kane and Pep Guardiola are included.

Since joining DAZN, Jake has become immersed in numerous documentaries about famous players like Ronaldo, Maradona, and Brazilian Ronaldo. Legends like Alessandro Del Piero, Raquel, and Didier Drogba are showcasing a treasure trove of old footage that includes all the goals scored by specific teams at previous FIFA World Cups.

On DAZN, there is a lot of interesting content to explore, to be sure. Every upcoming game is displayed on the Club World Cup homepage with dates and kick-off times, as well as the option to view group brackets and tables, making it simple to stay informed with the most recent standings.

Jake will follow Chelsea and Man City, and one can track their favorite teams in the competition to receive a push notification before their games. He’ll choose to watch the DAZN highlights instead of receiving reminders about each of their games due to some early kicks.

DAZN has sublicensed a number of matches to Channel 5, which means that 23 games will be broadcast on both DAZN and Channel 5. This might be a good substitute for football fans who are less tech savvy or enjoy missing out on some games.

Naturally, there is always the traditional Sky Sports package, which costs £35 per month on a 24-month contract in addition to the necessary Sky TV. Although the contract’s length may be a hindrance for some, the coverage of the Premier League, Football, Cricket, Golf, F1, Boxing, NFL, NBA, Netball, and many other channels is included.

For its coverage of the Club World Cup, DAZN has an impressive lineup of pundits, including Ronaldo, a legend from Brazil. Conor McNamara, Andros Townsend, Brad Friedel, Rob Green, and John Obi Mikel and Sami Khedira are just a few of the commentators who are notable voices on Sky or TNT Sports.

Tasha Ghouri’s ‘couldn’t live without’ beauty product she’s used since before Love Island

Tasha Ghouri stole our hearts all over again with her in the 2024 season of Strictly Come Dancing, making history as Love Island’s first and currently only deaf contestant. Tasha has bigger ambitions now that she has three years since her debut on television, demonstrating that “disability is beautiful.”

The 26-year-old, devoted cochlear implant user has frequently displayed her 1. 4 million people exactly, sharing her favorite makeup and skincare routines. In our Desert Island Beauty series, we caught up with the beauty enthusiast this week to talk about her summer must-haves, favorite brands, and career goals for the coming year.

Tasha’s only thing she can’t leave the house without is a polished brow (a girl after my own heart), and she uses Refy’s Eyebrow Sculpt to achieve that snatched, freshly-laminated appearance. She continued, “I always like to have my brows done.” That is probably the one beauty product I absolutely must have. ”

You’ll need to order quickly because Liz Earle has a huge skincare package that costs less than £70.

Tasha, who has gained notoriety for her simple, fresh-faced beauty, has long been a fan of the ‘clean girl’ aesthetic, which Refy as a brand embodies. Refy is something I’ve used before Love Island, she said. I really gravitate toward their products because they are so, so clean. A natural-looking style is what I like. ”

Refy Brow Sculpt, a wax-gel hybrid that has a 12-hour hold, can be purchased for £18. It’s sweatproof, waterproof, and free of all the chemicals, and has been recently updated to be even better, containing Provitamin B5 and glycerin.

Desert Island beauty product from Tasha

It received a close to-perfect 4 overall. More than 3,800 reviews, which are a real testament to its adoration, gave it a 9 star rating from consumers. One customer remarked, “Brow sculpt has been the best product for my brows.” It’s so lovely. Everyone should use it, I advise. They don’t move all day, so it’s ideal for giving them that laminated appearance. I’d never use anything else right now. ”

Another added, “It’s my favorite product for my brows, and once I style and brush them, it stays that way all day.” ”

The applicator remained the same despite the product’s reformulated form, and some users haven’t gotten along with it as well as others, saying, “I really like this product. Every day, I use it to keep my eyebrows pinned throughout the day. I use another brush because I can’t get the desired result with the integrated ones. ”

Tasha Ghouri using the Refy Brow Sculpt in an Instagram makeup video
In a makeup video for Instagram (Instagram/tashaghouri), Tassa Ghouri uses the Refy Brow Sculpt.

However, Refy’s Brow Sculpt isn’t just used to tone brows. Tasha acknowledges that there have been times when she needs beauty assistance. I can simply apply the glue to slick my hair back if I have greasy hair. Hack was well and truly recognized.

Similar goods include Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Freeze Gel, which costs $24 and, according to Space NK, has sold more than 100 this week alone. It’s a hybrid wax-gel formula that, like Refy, increases volume while simultaneously lifting and retaining the brows. E. for a less expensive alternative l. f. Costing £8 and labelled as ‘e. l. F has the best grasp so far at achieving that laminated brow look.

Refy’s budget and high end pricing are comfortably met by Tasha’s makeup kit, which is a real fusion of high street heroes, cult favorites, and premium beauty. I use Charlotte Tilbury, L’Oréal Paris, Rimmel, Maybelline, Rare Beauty, Armani, and Refy. It combines all of the different brands perfectly. I have the opportunity to experiment with gorgeous makeup and get creative with it. ”

Refy is at the top of the list for her current go-to products, especially their cream bronzer, though. She added, “I use the Refy bronzer, especially if I’m a little more tanned, because that’s what I like to use.”

I use completely different blushes, which have a nice cheek tint, and are really nice. Morphe is something I just discovered. I recently used their new triple palette while on vacation, and it added a really nice glow. Then, I like Charlotte Tilbury Pinkgasm if I want a more subtle blush. ”

Tasha is a big fan of a good blusher, with Charlotte Tilbury Pinkgasm being one of her favourites
One of Tasha’s favorite blushers is Charlotte Tilbury Pinkgasm (Instagram/tashaghouri), and she is a big fan of them.

Refy is dear to Tasha’s heart, so it shouldn’t surprise. She has long admired Jess Hunt, the founder, for both her outstanding product lines and her unwavering support for diversity. Jess Hunt is a person I’ve followed for many, many years because I’ve actually been a fan since day one. She is a powerful person who has worked in this field for a long time. She launched Refy when, as I recall, she said, “She’s going to nail this. ’

The diversity was what made the brand so fantastic, though. That’s what I adore most. Everyone was unique, not just the same people. She used people who have disabilities, which is so lovely, in my opinion. Refy is aware of the values behind their brand, which emphasizes displaying your natural beauty rather than concealing it. ”

Refy may be doing it right, but Tasha is open to the fact that more needs to be done in the field. More movement is unquestionably required, she said. I never run into anyone with a disability, even on brand-new trips. Actually, it’s very depressing. The industry has a lot of room for that, but it’s frequently overlooked or left out. True inclusivity refers to continuing the momentum rather than simply doing it once. ”

Tasha has a dream job as the face of a makeup company because she is a beauty enthusiast and advocate for people with disabilities. One day, I would love to portray Charlotte Tilbury. Or Refy, which I believe would be so lovely given how long I’ve been using them. I see myself pursuing that. Alternatively, look for an Aveeno-like skincare line. To demonstrate the beauty of disability, merely because we require so much more.

Despite the fact that everyone is beautiful in their own ways, there is still such a stigma surrounding what beauty is. These obstacles must still be overcome, in my opinion, and that it must go beyond. ”

EastEnders legend ‘died virtually penniless’ after blowing £1m fortune

After suffering a terrible downfall, Leslie Grantham, who played “Dirty” Den Watts, sadly passed away without much money.

EastEnders continues to bathe in the glory of it 40th anniversary celebrations back in February. Viewers were delighted by an epic live episode that saw the harrowing death of Martin Fowler (James Bye), although viewers couldn’t help spotting ‘blunders’ with Sonia and Linda during the special programme. For many months, the soap has also been indulging in a bit of nostalgia, welcoming back several familiar faces from the past, including from David Wicks (Michael French), Tracy-Ann Oberman (Chrissie Watts), Bianca Jackson (Patsy Palmer), Grant Mitchell (Ross Kemp) and Linda Carter (Kellie Bright).

However, the most dramatic “return” plotline, which took place in 2003, outweighs these comebacks. Despite the fact that the character was “killed off” in 1988, the decision to resurrect “DiRT” Den Watts made headlines and saw the show’s ratings skyrocket.

Regrettably, Leslie Grantham, the actor who played Den, thought this would be his last omen. His second season of the show came to an end amid scandal, which caused his career to falter.

In 2004, a newspaper revealed then-57 year old Leslie had been exposing himself online, using a webcam in his EastEnders dressing room. Consequently, Den was written out of the show in early 2005, meeting his end for the second time after his wife Chrissie hit him on the head with an iron doorstop – and this time, there would be no miraculous resurrection.

Following his departure from the limelight, Leslie did snag a part in The Bill, yet post-2005, his professional life was largely made up of panto and theatre gigs. Reports suggest that by 2018, when cancer claimed his life, Leslie was nearly destitute, having spent some of his last years in a friend’s spare room after his long marriage to Jane Laurie ended.

The actor, who was worried his family might be saddled with the cost, organized and paid for a “no frills funeral,” according to reports in the Daily Mail. His three sons and ex-wife Jane, all of whom he had three shares in a business worth less than £23,000, were left with little to inherit because of legal complexities and limited ownership in the business.

A confidant stated that Leslie had been dealing with “absolutely bad money issues for a while, and worrying about it did no good to his health.” Because he was so frail, his death was probably brought on by the stress of his financial situation.

The informant explained in detail Leslie’s funeral arrangements, “He paid for the entire event and gave specific instructions about what he wanted.” He made sure everything was arranged for the typical £4,000 funeral.

On a brighter note, Leslie’s son, Daniel Laurie, is keeping the acting legacy alive with his regular appearance as Reggie Jackson in the BBC series Call The Midwife.
