The One Show’s Alex Jones had ‘no idea’ about the complaints made against Jermaine Jenas

Alex Jones, a presenter for the One Show, claimed she had no idea what to do with the complaints about Jermaine Jenas’ ex-co-host.

The One Show presenter Alex Jones said she had ‘no idea’ about the complaints made against her former co-host Jermaine Jenas. The former footballer, 42, who presented alongside Alex on the programme for four years, was dismissed from the BBC last August due to improper conduct.

Former Match of the Day star Jermaine admitted to sending lewd messages to two former colleagues at the BBC. In addition to losing his BBC role, the former England midfielder saw his representation with a talent agency terminated. His 14-year marriage to Ellie Penfold also ended as their separation was publicly acknowledged in March.

Welsh presenter Alex revealed in a new interview that she had no idea what the complaints were until Jermaine left the company.

The 48-year-old said, “I very much take people on their faces.” However, I wasn’t sure what was happening with JJ [Jenas]. I was unsure. I assumed he was taking a long vacation.

The BBC didn’t reveal what was happening until it was actually handled by them. And they certainly did what they believed to be right.

“I hope whatever company she was working for would deal with it quickly as well if that was my daughter and she felt uncomfortable with someone’s behavior.”

Former Chelsea players Carlton Cole, Joe Cole, and Wayne Bridge spoke on The Dressing Room podcast and discussed the differences between football and television.

He unfilteredly discussed the competitive nature of the television industry, revealing how frequent gossiping and backstabbing are.

The actor claimed that he first saw this while working with various stand-in presenters on The One Show. He explained (via Wales Online) that “television is not like]football], they just talk behind your back.

“Everyone in television would just lie in your face,” he said. When I was the show’s main presenter, I collaborated with various female presenters when Alex Jones would sometimes not be available because she was having children.

We would leave and say, “Oh, did you like her JJ,” and I’d say, “Yes, she’s really good, it’s her first time, she’s done really well.” And then I’d just hear them saying, “Yes, she’s not coming back,” and they were gone. “

He apologized and said he had done nothing illegal and that inappropriate messages had been sent between two consenting adults after being fired from the BBC.

Months later, Jenas’ wife, Ellie Penfold, announced the couple had split up after 16 years together. She said on Instagram: “I never imagined I would have to share something so personal with the public, but given the situation, I feel it’s necessary.

Jermaine and I have decided to end our relationship after 16 years of marriage and raising four wonderful kids. We’ll continue to be friends and co-parent.

Comedian Marc Maron shares eye-watering amount Taylor Swift charged him to sing one of her songs

Bigger Than the Whole Sky, a song by Taylor Swift, was a hit with Marc Maron’s comedy audience, but tacky Tay Tay made sure he paid for it.

Comedian Marc Maron has revealed he shelled out tens of thousands of dollars to include a Taylor Swift song in his stand up she. The 61-year-old comic sought permission to sing one of the chart-topping star’s songs during a recent gig.

The singer may have sung Taylor’s song Bigger Than the Whole Sky from her 2022 album Midnights to fans who have seen one of Marc’s stand-up performances. However, Swift’s already substantial fortune was increased by the fact that being able to sing the song was fairly inexpensive.

According to reports, her monumental Eras World Tour led to her becoming a billionaire. She did, however, recently make a significant purchase and return of the masters of her own songs that had previously been sold during a 2019 sale.

After realizing he wanted to sing Taylor’s song while performing it on stage, Marc was content to throw a casual $50, 000 (£37, 000) bouquet her way. Additionally, he revealed that he was only permitted to perform the song for one minute because of this amount, which would require additional fees.

The comedian said, “I think it came out around $50K, around that,” when he spoke to Vulture. I made every effort to tell her the joke. He continued to explain that he first spoke with musician Jack Antonoff, who has worked with Taylor on a number of her albums.

He claimed that Jack Antonoff, who is the co-writer of that song, was “I know enough to text him.” We’re running out of money on this thing, I said, “I don’t know what’s proper or how to do this.” It’s probably going to be in my pocket. Can you talk to Taylor or contact her about this song?

Then, Jack instructed Marc to pay off $50,000 by going to the right channels to negotiate a deal. He responded, “It was doable. We made enough money. The ticket caused the situation to be tight… More money would have been the result if I had gone over the minute.

We couldn’t even allow the special to play out, like. So I formed a band and composed the music’s opening and closing lines. Yes, it only took a minute or two.

He added, however, that he “had to include the song because he thought the themes of loss were too too important to ignore.”

He resolutely said, “It had to happen. What do you do if she doesn’t let you use it and then what? That is the real fear. You are unable to perform the part of the special. I was [manifesting] because I thought she would enjoy the song. “

Taylor, who has reportedly purchased the masters of her first six albums for a reported $ 360 million (£267 million), after rival Scooter Braun, who purchased them in 2019 for a reported $ 300 million (£223 million), is not all that shy of making money herself.

The actress, who was hysterically criticizing her fans on her purchase, stated in a letter published on her official website that she is “trying to gather my thoughts into something coherent, but at the moment my mind is just a slideshow.

“A flashback sequence of all the time I longed for, wished for, and longed for the opportunity to tell this news.” I tried to find it whenever I could, but it always fell through.

After 20 years of having the carrot dangled and then yanked away, I almost stopped believing it could ever occur. That is all, however, now. Since discovering that this is actually occurring, I’ve been bursting into joy at random intervals. I’m really allowed to say those things.

Kelsey Parker has surrounded herself with her family as she takes a much-needed trip away following the death of her third child. The Wanted star Tom Parker’s widow sadly announced her third child was born stillborn last month.

She shares her child with her partner Will Lindsay, and broke the devastating news on social media as she revealed they had a little boy named Phoenix. Since then, Kelsey has taken time away from social media and a break away from her day-to-day life.

Marking her return to Instagram, Kelsey shared a family photo with Will and her two children with Tom, Aurelia, six, and Bodhi, four. They soaked up the sun in a hot location as they looked out at a stunning view together.

The podcaster made the decision to not disclose where they had decided to take a break, saying, “Exactly what we needed.” Thank you so much for making it so simple @jet2. X”.

Kelsey revealed the heartbreaking news about her son on her Instagram account just last month. One simple heartbreaking sentence was included in her devastating tribute to her son: “Phoenix Parker-Lindsay, you will forever be loved.”

For Phoenix, Born Sleeping, Forever Loved, a moving poem was added. The poem read, “The world became quiet as you arrived, loved, longed for, but not alive. Born with wings, our beloved angel light, flew quietly.

You are brave and bright, Phoenix, we gave you. A warmth and light-filled, love-filled soul. You’ll live in hearts that won’t ask why, despite the fact that we have never heard of your cry. You drew no air, no eyes, and yet I had no idea what you meant. You’ll take us on a soft journey, close by, in every tear and sigh.

Kelsey’s fans and celebrity friends flooded her with messages of encouragement. Before I receive an influx of lovely messages and heartfelt wishes, she wrote in her post, “I just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate everything you are all going to say and share.”

“But with the news being so raw, I would really like to make sure that our families are given time to process this devastating and world-changing news.” I’m grateful for your time and understanding. Kelsey, Will, and the Parker family, always in love.

Aurelia, five, and Bodhi, four, are the children of Kelsey and Tom Parker, the star of The Wanted, who tragically passed away from brain cancer in 2022 at the age of 33, four years after their wedding.

After finding love once more in September, she opened up to the Mirror in January about how excited she was to welcome a third child into her family home.

Kelsey admitted that the birth of Will’s first child was a “happy accident.” She claimed that she was gently preparing Aurelia and Bodhi for a new sibling.

Will also declared, “I’m over the moon.” I’ve wanted this for a while. I’m relieved, and I’m confident that Kelsey will continue to be a fantastic mother like she is.

Simon Cowell makes bold claim about reality show as pal warns ‘you’ll literally die’

Simon Cowell, who made a bold claim about appearing on a Channel 4 reality TV show, was given a warning by Lucy Spraggan.

Simon Cowell is usually seen sitting behind a desk, but if he had had his way, things could have been a lot different. The Britain’s Got Talent and X Factor judge is known for his cutting comments on the talent shows.

But the music mogul, 65, was tempted to try his luck on a different reality show, according to a close friend. Lucy Spraggan, who rose to fame on the X Factor before growing close to Simon, claims he had shown an interest in extreme challenge show, SAS: Who Dares Wins.

With Lucy set to appear on the Channel 4 show, she revealed Simon told her it was a “great idea” for her to take part.

Speaking to the Sun, Lucy said: “He knows I love being outdoors. We do a lot of shooting air rifles and stuff together, so he knows this is my thing, testing my mental resilience.”

But she acknowledged the funny thing he said when he said, “Oh, maybe I’ll try to do it.” Lucy claimed that Lucy had told her pal that he would “literally die.”

“It was funny because it really brought up how difficult it was for me to say to him without a doubt.”

She continued, “But Lauren Silverman, Cowell’s wife], I said to her at dinner the other day, “You should have a go.” It would be funny if she could do it.

The upcoming series of Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins sees Lucy join a new cast of famous faces to take on the challenge. This year has seen Channel 4 bosses choose a wide selection of stars from football, reality TV and even a woman made famous as one of the ‘Peru Two’ drug smugglers.

Michaella McCollum is part of the current line up alongside other star names like Rebecca Loos, who had a rumoured fling with David Beckham. Former Premier League footballer Troy Deeney is also in the lineup, as is former Love Island star Adam Collard.

Fans will see Loos face a brutal Beckham grilling on the show over ‘mistakes’. Loos was Beckham’s personal assistant in 2003 and claims broke the following year about them having a four month fling.

Beckham never attempted to challenge the allegations in court or in subsequent interviews, calling the initial reports of the affair “ludicrous” at the time.

Loos went on to appear on reality shows like The Farm and Celebrity Love Island before stepping out of the limelight and is now a yoga teacher in Norway.

Rebecca stated on her TV comeback this week on Channel 4: “I just wanted to show people who I am and just be myself, which has always been my thing. And I went in it “as it comes” with a very open mind.
