Coronation Street’s Helen Flanagan shows off painful ‘black eye’ after surgery

Helen Flanagan, who portrayed Rosie Webster on the ITV soap, had a cosmetic surgery on her, and she now has a “black eye.”

Helen has been candid about having surgery.

Helen Flanagan has shown off her ‘black eyes’ after undergoing cosmetic surgery. The Coronation Street star – who played Rosie Webster in the ITV soap – was seen sporting some bruising around her eye in a new post on social media.

The Corrie star has been open about the surgery she has undergone, which at times she has been heavily criticised for. She opened up in 2022 about undergoing a breast enhancement and said it really helped her to get her confidence back.

She defended her decision a few years ago, saying, “I was quite candid about my recent boob job on Instagram.” I’ve wanted to do this for a very long time, and by doing so, I’ve really gained my confidence.

I breastfed total for three years. I ate with Matilda for eight months. I spent 13 months feeding Delilah. I fed Charlie for 14 months. I wanted to finish my breastfeeding journey with Charlie pretty quickly so I could finish them. You might tie them in a bow, I thought. After giving birth, I had to wait six months before taking it in January.

She continued, “I don’t regret any of my breastfeeding journeys, because they were precious.” They are so inexplicably big for my frame, which was a little bit scary for me.

In addition to her most recent treatment, Helen had polynucleotide cosmetic facial surgery. It uses DNA fragments to promote skin regeneration and revitalization as part of a cosmetic procedure. Although it initially results in redness, swelling, and bruises where they are injected, it still leaves a young, radiant complexion.

She flashed her painful, black eyes.

Helen also made the decision to get Botox in 2019 and described how it has improved her self-assurance.

I wanted to feel more upbeat and self-assured because I had Delilah. She said, “I would take pictures with my kids on my phone and be shocked at how much older I looked, even though I still think I’m 20.”

I’m so happy with my Botox, and it’s a good idea if you’re like me and still want to look 23.

Just a few weeks ago, Helen recalled how she was verbally abused by a man on the Tube for standing up for another woman. She explained how the woman had been harassed by the man and when she stood up for the woman, she was verbally abused too.

He was really bad, and I actually felt really intimidated, and I felt like I couldn’t talk to him because I actually felt intimidated. He said, “You’ve got so much Botox in your forehead, and I’m sitting there with an iced coffee, I’m surprised you can even drink through a straw,” and she said it was the strangest thing he could have said.

Ed Sheeran has shared the terrifying threat crazed fans made towards his daughter after they broke into his home. The Shape of You singer, 34, shares daughters Lyra, four, and Jupiter, three, with wife Cherry Seaborn.

And he acknowledged to Australia’s 60 Minutes on Sunday night how far he must travel to ensure the safety of his family. The pop star claimed that because of threats he had previously received, extra security measures were required.

Ed told the audience that frightening fan encounters are the things that “people don’t really even take into account” when they spoke to the channel. He compared it to “s**t like kidnapping threats and that”

We’ve had items left on my car that were attempted break-ins. More sinister than just fans arriving and requesting selfies, really?

He continued, saying he now comprehends and has to accept that his family will always need some form of protection. We have a level of security that, according to Ed, is unlikely to change once I pass away. Our current existence is just that.

And he explained how protective his protective ways have led to his refusal to allow photos of his young children, adding that the attempt has sparked “real arguments” among those who try.

“I’m fine with taking pictures,” he said. “But I just think it’s weird with a four-year-old and a three-year-old.”

As he revealed the negatives of his enormous fame, Ed candidly admitted he wished his family could lead a more “normal” life. You must accept both the good and the bad to be in the public sphere. However, I believe my children would definitely benefit from a more normal lifestyle.

The update comes just a month after he had revealed to Louis Theroux how difficult it was to spend time with his kids in public. He said on an episode of the journalist’s podcast that he has had to install 24 hour security at his home because of “weird things which have happened”.

On the episode of the Louis Theroux podcast, he said, “I was actually having a conversation with my wife about this because I believe there is a different kind of normal that our business is.”

“For instance, I have 24-hour security at my house, I have security with my kids, I have security with my wife, and I have security with my wife because, like, over the years, there have been a few strange things that have happened.”

Ed continued, “Just, you know, there are a lot of dangerous people out there,” when Louis expressed shock at the admission. We’ve had break-ins and s***, just like that, you know…

I’ve never seen that as normal (having security), but it’s completely normal in my industry. Like many others I know, security and similar things are present.

“So I don’t know, that’s kind of like an underlying thing that no one ever really talks about, but I suppose that’s a part of being in the public eye.”

BBC Countryfile’s Adam Henson says ‘I’ll go back’ as he hints at future away from show

Countryfile presenter Adam Henson has been a familiar face on our screens for more than 20 years, but has a very different life away from the TV cameras

Adam Henson has dropped a mysterious hint about potentially stepping back from television if his “face doesn’t fit one day”.

During a BBC Farmwatch broadcast, the presenter discussed his Cotswolds operation, revealing that 180 staff work at the Cotswold Farm Park in Cheltenham.

It appears Adam’s responsibilities have shifted over time, admitting his “hands are soft” and that his current duties involve “managing managers”, with an 8am kick-off (considerably later than most farmers begin their day).

Nevertheless, the Countryfile favourite clearly retains affection for traditional agricultural work.

When questioned whether he missed that aspect of farming, he replied that he “always wanted” to be a farmer and continues to adore it.

Adam remarked: “Yeah, you know, I grew up on a farm wanting to be a farmer, went to agricultural college, you know, travelled the world working on farms. It’s something I’ve always wanted to do, and I still love it.”

He added: “So the telly world has taken me slightly away from that. That’s a pleasure, but if my face doesn’t fit one day, which I’m sure it won’t, I’ll go back to being a proper farmer.”

The beloved broadcaster has also featured on programmes including Gardeners’ World, Springtime on the Farm and Lambing Live, sharing expertise from his farm since 2001. Adam is wed to spouse Charlotte, and together they share two grown-up children, Alfie and Ella.

Nevertheless, his children have chosen not to mirror his professional journey and have instead embarked on completely different vocational routes.

Adam was apparently motivated by his father to pursue the dual occupations of agriculture and broadcasting, explaining how he would telephone after every programme to provide encouragement or critique.

Chatting to the Express, Adam shared how his father was “ahead of his time” by welcoming visitors to the farm and allowing guests to “bottle-feed a lamb or hold a chick”.

He commented: “While I was pulling on my wellies and chasing my dad out of the door to join him on the farm, my own children aren’t interested in a career in farming.”

The 59-year-old disclosed that his daughter works as an events organiser in Perth, while his son is a financial adviser in Leeds. This means that when the tenancy expires in 12 years, he and Charlotte will relocate to a bungalow in Winchcombe.

Rebel Wilson took to social media this weekend to commemorate her late grandmother who passed away at the impressive age of 95 – and who joined the star at her wedding last year

Rebel Wilson has been left heartbroken by the death of her beloved grandmother – just months after her grandfather passed away. The Pitch Perfect star shared touching details of her grandmother Gar’s life.

Taking to social media on Sunday, Rebel, 45, shared a montage of images of her grandmother – sound tracked by the song Somewhere Over The Rainbow, sung by Judy Garland. The song choice had special meaning which gave insight into her grandmother’s mischievous personality.

Rebel wrote: “Goodbye to my incredible Grandma Gar – the BEST grandmother ever. She passed away at 95 years old.”

She continued: “Her favourite movie was The Wizard of Oz because when she was a young girl she was banned by her father from seeing it for being ‘naughty’ but years later finally got to watch it.”

Rebel then revealed that her grandmother was deeply proud of her and the acting career she carved out for herself. She explained: “She used to keep a scrapbook of news clippings of my career because she was so proud and even last night was telling paramedics about me as she was being taken to hospital – recounting her glorious holiday on the Queen Mary that I had given her as a present when I had started making it big in Hollywood.”

The Australian actress went on: “When I was 11 she took me and my sister to America – it was one of the best week’s of my entire life. We took her on SPACE MOUNTAIN at Disneyland saying ‘it’s not that scary Gar!’ and she screamed the entire way down holding on for dear life. I’m glad her last ‘big’ outing was to our wedding at the Opera House.”

She continued: “She loved watching tennis, musicals, neenish tarts, but most importantly she LOVED her family – her children, grandchildren and now great grandchildren. She leaves behind an incredible legacy. She had a hair salon back in the day when few women owned businesses. She endured so much in her life and was always so kind and sweet. To me she is a Queen and I proudly carry her royal name of Elizabeth.”

And she concluded: “Love you Gar and love to all my family at this very sad time.”
