Celebrity Big Brother star Ella Rae Wise previously opened up about her split from Dan Edgar. The TOWIE star has had a difficult time in the house, with the TV personality most recently storming off in tears after the housemates were tasked with brutal face-to-face nominations on Easter Monday.
A few days after entering the reality programme, the 24-year-old touched upon her relationship with Dan, who is a decade her senior, and said she gave up trying to change him. And in an interview from entering the Big Brother house, Ella said the duo struggled on agreeing on their futures.

The TV personality said he wanted children, but doesn’t know when, and hopes to move to Spain while she is still dead set on remaining in the UK.
“I’m 24, I don’t want to live out there,” Ella explained to The Sun. “I just feel our stars aren’t aligned. I just feel that he’s really conscious about wasting time with someone. “

She went on to claim his trauma from previous relationships made him struggle in new ones, with him sometimes ‘holding back’. When she first opened up about him on the show, Dan broke his silence with a statement.

He said: “The past week has seen a strange turn of events and things have been said that I didn’t really want to comment on, but to put it straight, Ella and I agreed to go our separate ways amicably last week, and were speaking right up until she left to go into the house.
“I think we both have our reasons for why it wasn’t working out, but there are certain things in life I would rather keep private. I wish her all the best and hope she enjoys her experience. “
Meanwhile, Ella recently stormed off in tears during the recent face-to-face nominations. The latest Celebrity Big Brother task proved too much for Ella Rae Wise as she stormed out in tears. It came as housemates had to make their eviction nominations in front of each other in a cruel twist.
As a number of her fellow housemates shared their reasons for picking her, Ella had enough when yet another housemate made their decision and leant against the wall outside the space in tears.
JoJo had told her she felt Ella seemingly wanted there to be a “negative or drama” as she explained her nomination reason. “I feel that can be really hard when it feels like there’s a tension that doesn’t need to be there. “
As the tears flowed, Ella decided it was best if she left the room, with JoJo saying: “It’s not easy.” Danny Beard followed her to try to comfort her and telling her to “phase it out”, but she complained at the reasons given.
Fans were divided by her tears and rushed to social media to share their thoughts, with one claiming Ella recently broke a rule to get more airtime.
One user on Twitter /X questioned: “I think Ella broke the rules on purpose coz she wants more airtime! #CBBUK. “
Another said: “Ella needs a new game, her cying for attention flopped almost as hard as her expected showmance #CBBUK. A third added: “Ella they’re all playing a game because its a GAME SHOW and maybe you’re being nominated because you dont like doing the thing you signed up for. “

Ahead of Amol Rajan’s interview with Gary Lineker, the Mirror takes a look at the footballing legend’s allegedly strained relationship with his Ibiza and Dubai-loving younger brother, Wayne Lineker

They shared the same upbringing, but Gary Lineker and Wayne Lineker appear to be chalk and cheese – and their differences have allegedly resulted in a 17-year rift.
The brothers, who grew up together in Leicester, have reportedly seen their once close bond take a battering over the years. Ibiza beach club owner Wayne claims their feud dates right back to 2008, and blames Gary’s ex-wife Danielle Bux for the distance that has sadly grown between them.
Meanwhile, it’s previously been alleged that Wayne’s “party animal” lifestyle drove a wedge between the two siblings, who have chosen markedly different paths in life.
Former professional footballer Gary, 64, went on to become a top goal scorer for the England squad before rising to become a star pundit on Match of the Day.
Business-minded younger brother Wayne kickstarted his career on a fruit and veg stall, before building his nightlife empire. Despite their differences, the pair were once close, meeting up twice a week for a game of golf, and enjoying regular phone chats. But then everything changed.

Admitting their polarity, Wayne, now 62, previously said: “Gary is a very intelligent guy in a general knowledge kind of way, whereas I’m not. I’m savvy and streetwise. “
Wayne claimed they drifted apart when Gary started seeing Danielle Bux in 2008, whom he married the following year, and went on to divorce in 2016. “In my opinion, Danielle cost me my relationship with my brother. Sadly, Gary is no longer a part of my life,” Wayne told The Sun in April 2015.
Wayne claimed he was baffled when their weekly phone conversations and home visits came to an abrupt end. The Ibiza playboy couldn’t understand why their contact had fizzled out within a year, but he put the blame on an awkward first meeting with Danielle.
“They came to Ibiza in August 2008 and it was really awkward. I didn’t spark with Danielle and our relationship was cold,” said Wayne. He claimed Danielle stayed in her room for the whole of the first day then they didn’t speak at all during a night out the next evening.
Not wanting to upset his brother, Wayne didn’t question Gary about the frostiness, but the holiday would be the last time he ever spoke to Danielle. Wayne had been the best man at Gary’s first wedding to ex-wife Michelle Cockayne in 1986, but he didn’t even attend his second set of nuptials.
The club owner refused to attend because he was told his then-girlfriend, model Ana Tanaka, was not invited just months before the big day. “He was my brother, and he was telling me that I couldn’t bring my girlfriend of a year and a half to his wedding. She was a lovely, polite girl, and not a five-minute girlfriend,” argued Wayne.
Wayne claimed his attempts to reconcile their brotherly bond failed, and an awkward call on Gary’s 50th birthday lasted less than a minute. Wayne admitted he had given up, adding: “I would love nothing more than him to call me up tomorrow and ask to go to lunch to speak about it, but I don’t think it’s going to happen. “

Offering Gary’s alleged perspective on things in a 2015 interview with the Mail, Wayne’s old pal and former PR man, Neil Deal, claimed: “Gary had a bit of a problem with Wayne’s party lifestyle.
“He and his brother used to get along well enough, but they were worlds apart. And as Gary became more famous in sport and TV, Wayne seemed to become more of a party animal to compensate, and they just grew apart. “
Fast-forward to August 2017, and the brothers had slowly started to heal their rift. “We talk now. We are not how we were years and years ago, but we speak more now,” Wayne told The Sunday Mirror.
“We are slowly getting there. It’s important. He’s my brother. We were so close. We used to play golf twice a week, go to each other’s houses and speak every day on the phone. ” While most people were shocked that Gary remained close friends with Danielle after they split up, it didn’t come as a surprise to his brother.

“I think it is a Lineker thing,” said Wayne in 2017, who claimed the decision to stay pals with an ex “runs in the family”. “I keep in touch with all my exes. Why have you got to hate each other? It depends what is going on behind the scenes, but if you can keep it together, that is fantastic. “
Wayne has always been very close with Gary’s sons, George, Harry, Angus and Tobias, who regularly visit him in Ibiza and keep in contact with him despite the rift between the brothers. “All four come here. They always say ‘If Carlsberg made uncles, then I’m the man’. They get treated amazingly. George comes three times a year,” revealed Wayne.
“He is very social. All the boys are fantastic, they are all mad and love a drink, love a girl, and there is nothing wrong with that. Whereas my boys, believe it or not… Dwayne, my eldest, is like Gary. He is the father of our relationship, not me. My son ends up looking after me. I’ll be sitting on the streets of San Antonio at 7am, acting an idiot, and he will come and say, ‘Dad, what are you doing? ’”
While Gary rarely gets involved in Wayne’s antics, he did make a cheeky dig at his brother when he appeared on The Only Way Is Essex. Wayne made an explosive debut on the reality TV show when the cast headed to Marbella back in 2013.

It wasn’t long before Wayne set his sights on one of the TOWIE girls – and clearly had a soft spot for Lauren Pope. But his dreams of a romantic date were ruined when Lauren brought best pal Chloe Sims along and they got into a furious row.
“I thought he was an a***hole the first time I met him, and now I know he’s definitely an a***hole,” fumed Chloe as she stormed off from dinner. Wayne was branded ‘creepy’ by furious TOWIE viewers, and even Gary expressed his surprise on Twitter.
“There’s a fella on #TOWIE who looks remarkably like @waynelineker,” joked Gary. He then cheekily added: “Sure it’s not though, even he’s not that daft. “
Despite their differences, Wayne has always been “immensely proud” of his brother. When Gary was revealed as the second-highest paid star at the BBC in August 2017, earning £1,750,000-£1,799,999 a year, Wayne said his brother deserved it.
Admitting he is Gary’s “biggest fan”, Wayne said: “He is very good at presenting now. I remember watching him when he first started, he was absolutely rubbish.
“He was so nervous doing Match of the Day, but within six months he got his confidence sorted. When he started he had to replace Des Lynam, Des was fantastic in his day, he was the man. Trying to follow that is really difficult, but Gary pulled it off. Within two years, he was established, and now he is the main man.
“There is probably no one better. He works hard and is a very intelligent man. He has always been protective of his image, which has paid off over the years. He is a very respected man and has done well. “
However, Wayne joked that Gary was “damaging the family reputation” following a revealing interview in which the former footballer claimed he’s not a huge fan of sex. Gary made the headlines after discussing his private life with ex-wife Danielle and revealing he had enjoyed the occasional date since becoming single again.
Cheeky Wayne couldn’t resist poking fun at his brother, tweeting: “Come on bro. Really had enough now of you damaging the family reputation. ” It seems they are getting close again now as Wayne posted a heartwarming tribute to his brother on his 60th birthday in November 2020, saying: “I will always be proud of you. Love you lots. “
And this August, Wayne poked fun at their different journeys. Sharing a black and white throwback photo of the young brothers, he wrote: “Same mum, same dad, just different journeys…Match of the day to snatch or the day [laughing face emoji]. But I will always be his biggest fan”.

The Academy Awards have introduced a new change that allows films made with the help of artificial intelligence to win massive awards. The use of AI in movies has already been a controversial topic as The Brutalist received backlash after the movie’s editor, Dávid Jancsó, revealed AI was used to create a more convincing Hungarian accent.
It still went on to win Best Picture, Best Actor, and Best Music at this year’s awards show. And now, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences confirmed that movies using AI tools will be able to qualify for awards. According to the rules, AI use won’t automatically boost or reduce a film’s chance of getting a nomination.

The Academy said the most important part is the percentage of human creativity involved in the entire process, which means the AI technology can only assist in the project but not be a huge part of the storytelling or take over the entire thing.
Emilia Perez, who won Zoe Saldaña an accolade for Best Supporting Actress, also used voice-enhancing software for its musical numbers.

Meanwhile, The Brutalist’s film editor Dávid Jancsó revealed in a previous interview with Red Shark News the ways in which the movie’s film team used A. I. , and why they initially implemented it.

It utilised artificial intelligence to fill in minor language gaps coming from Adrien Brody and his co-star Felicity Jones during a distinct part of the movie.
“I am a native Hungarian speaker and I know that it is one of the most difficult languages to learn to pronounce,” Dávid told the news outlet. “It’s an extremely unique language. “
For a few minutes in the movie, a letter from Adrien’s character he had written for his wife is read out loud. His character’s letter is read in Hungarian. According to TheWrap, this was the only part of the Adrien’s performance that Respeecher was used for.
“If you’re coming from the Anglo-Saxon world certain sounds can be particularly hard to grasp,” Dávid explained. “We first tried to ADR these harder elements with the actors.
“Then we tried to ADR them completely with other actors but that just didn’t work. So we looked for other options of how to enhance it. “
The production team used the actor’s voices on Respeecher and added in AI words in Hungarian.
“Most of their Hungarian dialogue has a part of me talking in there. We were very careful about keeping their performances,” he continued.

“It’s mainly just replacing letters here and there. You can do this in ProTools yourself, but we had so much dialogue in Hungarian that we really needed to speed up the process otherwise we’d still be in post. ”

The Traitors star Maia Gouveia has welcomed her second child – and has shared the first precious snaps of her bundle of joy online. Maia, 25, who competed on the third season of the hit BBC series alongside her sister Armani, announced the happy news on Instagram.
Posting a series of heartwarming photos, she wrote: “After 9 long months of waiting to meet you, you’re finally here. We were three, and it was everything…but now we’re four, and somehow, our hearts have found room to love even more deeply. A new bond, a love we never knew we were missing. Welcome to the family. ”
The reality star, who is a full-time mum, first revealed her second pregnancy earlier this year, sharing a clip filmed back in August where she held up her positive test. The sweet moment also featured in her 2024 highlight reel.

The brutal format sees “Faithfuls” work to uncover the secret “Traitors” among them. Armani was handpicked as a Traitor by host Claudia Winkleman early on, but it was Maia who ultimately exposed her at the roundtable, leading to her sister’s elimination.
Not long after calling out her sibling, Maia herself became a target – she was “murdered” by fellow Traitors Minah and Linda later in the game. Having entered alongside her sister Armani, Maia, proved that she wasn’t afraid of turning on her sibling just days into the show when she admitted that she was “60%” sure that her sister was a Traitor.

As she watched her sister uncover her true identity, the mum-of-one was left in floods of tears as she admitted: “Even though I know she’s a Traitor, that’s still my sister; she is everything to me, so it felt weird to betray her. ”
Away from the castle, Maia is a self-confessed “full-time mum” to her daughter Ava, who is two years old. Prior to entering the castle, the TV personality opened up for her reasons for applying for the reality show and admitted that the cost of raising a child was a factor in her decision.
“Second one was the money. My daughter is going to nursery soon and that’s expensive. It’s like having a mortgage, so that was also a motivator,” she explained.

Maia, from Essex, has amassed more than 26,000 followers on Instagram where she gives fans a peek inside her life as a mum. In one particularly sweet post, The Traitors star reflected on becoming a mum in her twenties. “She makes me the best version of myself, how could I not be happy? ,” she wrote.
And over on TikTok, Maia was already a star before entering the gameshow, having secured a whopping 150,000 followers and more than 12 million likes across her videos.

Amanda Holden said her new gig as the host of a dating show offered unexpected benefits to her own marriage.
While working on Cheat: Unfinished Business, alongside love guru Paul C Brunson, the 54-year-old presenter confessed to making notes and putting them into practice with her husband Chris Hughes.
The Britain’s Got Talent judge told Closer Magazine: “He gives out amazing advice that I literally made notes on throughout filming.
“I was really nice to my husband Chris across the summer when we were making the show! “
Not long ago, Amanda revealed that despite being happily married, she and Chris had been leading “separate lives” due to their hectic work schedules.

She told Heart Radio listeners: “I’ve been married for over 20 years. Well, I met him in 2003, I can’t work it out.
“Anyway, a long time, and our lives have been very separate for a long time because we’re both very busy. Obviously, we’re very happily married, but we do lots of things separately.
“I love my Peloton and running, he goes and plays squash. He’s got a massive career as well.

“We’re always separate, you know. ” According to an insider, Amanda and her spouse have since been working on getting their busy schedules to align.
They told the magazine: “Amanda realises that something’s got to give but it’s not quite that simple. She knows she needs to prioritise her husband – who knows how she would cope without him.
“They’ve talked about trying a getaway to spend real down time together – alone. The kids are old enough to hold the fort.
“Amanda knows she needs to consider this. Until now it’s always been as a family so going on holiday alone would be alien to her.
“But it’s a great place to start, even if it’s a long weekend. “
No stranger to discussing her marriage on air, Amanda also recently joked about her husband giving her the ick.
She said: “My ick with Chris, although that does sound quite dramatic, is when Chris is dressed casually.
“My husband looks really nice when he goes out but his relaxed look, the thing I would burn without any hesitation, but I think it would pollute the air, is that he owns yellow Crocs. “

Miley Cyrus’ mother, Tish Cyrus, has discussed how she strengthened her reportedly strained relationship with daughter Noah Cyrus. The mother-daughter duo was said to be feuding in recent years after Tish started dating Prison Break star Dominic Purcell, who reportedly once casually dated Noah.
Tish went public with her romance with the actor in November 2022, and just weeks later, Dominic popped the question, with the help of her famous daughter Miley. Tish revealed the engagement news in 2023, and in August 2024, they tied the knot in a small ceremony in Miley‘s backyard at her home in Malibu.

It was claimed at the time that Noah wasn’t at the wedding, as she supposedly dated Dominic before Tish did. However, after over a year of rumours on their relationship, Tish and Noah shocked fans when they reunited for a TikTok this month.
And on a recent episode of Tish and Brandi Cyrus’ podcast, Sorry We’re Cyrus, Noah joined in on the fun and discussed their bond and how they grew closer.
Tish said being physically closer to her daughter helped fix their issues. “Noah moved this year. That’s been so good for us,” she explained, saying they were “able to go on our walks and we found our new favourite ice cream truck. “

Noah went on to reveal her fiancé, Pinkus, is ‘really close’ to her mum which she ‘loves so much’ as Tish didn’t get along with her past boyfriends.
Tish said: “I love him so much and honestly… he is a man. He’s so respectful and driven and sweet. Honestly I think he is perfect. He is so awesome and I could not be happier that you are with him. “
Meanwhile, it was during an interview on the Call Her Daddy podcast last year that Tish revealed she had pursued Dominic after calling time on her 28-year marriage to ex-husband Billy Ray Cyrus, and sent him a DM on Instagram.
A source claimed Noah was “seeing Dominic when Tish started pursuing him,” and the mother-of-five “was aware” of her daughter’s relationship with the actor.
The source went on to allege that Miley had security outside her home in Malibu when her mother’s wedding ceremony was taking place in an effort to keep out Noah.
The mother and daughter have not spoken about the claims. Meanwhile, Billy Ray Cyrus shocked fans when he was pictured kissing Elizabeth Hurley.
Billy sent the showbiz world into meltdown when model, Liz, shared a snap of them kissing on Instagram – tagged with a love heart – on Easter Sunday.
Famous friends and fans of the couple quickly rushed to the comments section to congratulate Liz, 59, and Billy, 63, on their romance. Unsurprisingly, Tish, 57, who divorced the country star in 2022, was not among them.
