When Ulrika Jonsson was invited on a podcast to discuss her sobriety journey, the comments about her drinking habits from the past went viral. But her appearance soon became a major talking appoint among those who watched the recording of her being interviewed by former Made In Chelsea star, Spencer Matthews.

Many people were concerned and shocked by her appearance because they thought she had significantly aged, while others seized the opportunity to make crude comments about the former presenter.

The mother of four responded in style to silence her trolls, who had watched her on the Untapped Podcast.

She defended her appearance in a letter to The Times. She continued, “I’ve worked hard to stop people from thinking that women are just interested in their looks and appearance.” I have a lot of experience, kindness, and intelligence, and I’m a practical woman.

Ulrika continued, “I should have no consequence because I now have wrinkles, lines, and jowls.” I am aware of my age. However, I should also mention that I have a menopausal mother of four and that my body and face have been quite active.

Ulrika claimed that she had forgotten Spencer’s upcoming filming was taking place because she had made up her mind to wear makeup.

She attributed a lot of time spent in the garden to why she didn’t take a break in seven years.

This comes after the TV personality took to Instagram last week to silence the keyboard warriors who decided to post vile comments about her look.

She posted a selfie at the time, and the caption read, “I feel I need to address something. I don’t receive many nasty comments, or if I do, I don’t respond with a loving response. However, I recently participated in a fantastic podcast called @untapped. podcast to talk about my sobriety with the intelligent @spencermatthews.

I didn’t wear any makeup, she continued. Partly because I’ve forgotten that a modern-day project is also an eye-funny. I’m not a fan, though, because I’ve had to wear heavy makeup on the big screen from 5 am for years.

Ulrika continued: “Most crucially tho, since childhood I’ve suffered from eczema. On my body – the creases of my arms and legs – on my face – eyes and lips. Make-up has always been the enemy because it’s been agony to wear. There were a lot of positive comments about the WORDS I said on the podcast. But a considerable amount about my tanned appearance.”

How OLD DO I LOOK, she continued. I’ll turn 58 in a few weeks. I’ll never look like the 21-year-old who used to greet you first thing in the morning on the weather board. I’m not ashamed to admit that I enjoy the sun and will undoubtedly pay the price for it. However, since I was a young child, I have lived in a variety of astringent products and creams, including UV lamps and salt baths.

She ended her post by saying, “I have unbalanced pigmentation, unquestionably, that age has not helped. Because it’s quicker and less painful than foundation, I occasionally use filters in my photos. I spend a lot of time in my garden all year long, often in the sun. I no longer sunbathe as often. I haven’t used a sunbed in six months, which I do occasionally during the winter. not embarrassed.

She also urged her trolls to pay attention to what is being said in a podcast rather than acting as a “guest” for a woman because they “might learn something.”

She bowed out, saying, “You can’t be a hero if you make people feel bad.”

After making a crude joke to a woman live on stage, Pat Sharp, who is best known for hosting the 90s children’s program Fun House, abruptly axed from his radio show.

Radio DJ and Fun House host Pat Sharp was axed from his radio show after making a ‘humiliating’ joke that saw him lose his job. The TV legend, best known for being the face of the 90’s childrens show fun house, presented his segment on Greatest Hits Radio from 2019.

However the 63-year-old had made a joke to a woman live on stage at an awards show where he reportedly jibed about “getting on your t**ts” and handed her a T-shirt with his face on it, according to Daily Mail. The T-shirt had an old photo of Pat with his classic mullet hairdo and the caption: ‘Pat Sharp – AS SEEN ON FUN HOUSE – LOOKING SHARP SINCE 1982’.

However, she later claimed she was “violated” in front of around 400 coworkers and friends on social media in 2023 and that the joke backfired. She remarked, “I wasn’t really processing what happened, and I was in total shock.” I’m having trouble with it right now because I feel depressed, dirty, and, to be honest, violated.

The radio DJ was abruptly cut off from the air when Greatest Hits Radio announced that his contract was about to expire at the end of the month and that they had chosen not to renew. He was told to leave the show immediately, and they did so.

A decision was already made to not renew Pat’s contract, which expires later this month, according to a spokesperson for Bauer, the owner of Greatest Hits Radio. We have now come to our attention on this problem, but Pat and I have come to terms with it.

In a statement issued to The Sun, Pat said: “I made a joke on stage which was not well received. I upset one individual in particular and for that I am truly sorry. I apologised at the event to anyone who was offended and I have apologised to the individual personally too.”

Other than Greatest Hits, Pat has previously hosted programmes on Radio 1, Capital FM, Smooth Radio and Heart, as well as presented some episodes of music TV show Top Of The Pops in the 1980s. Since the incident, Pat has stayed under the radar but has been keeping fans updated with his life on Instagram. He posts snapshots of him with his grandchildren and some throwback pictures of him in his heyday.

In a post with the hashtag “Grandkids galore,” the grandad shared dozens of photos of his grandchildren enjoying themselves in the pool, playing games, and wandering the park. Pat appeared to be enjoying trips to the beach in Watergate Bay in Cornwall with his wife Monica when he wasn’t with his grandkids for a while in Windermere, in the Lake District, in July.

Earlier this month Pat was advertising an 80s tribute gig Ultimate 80’s Reloaded in Torquay with himself alongside another DJ Max Corderoy. Sharing tickets to book on his Facebook page, the event described itself as “non-stop nostalgia” with “a pulsating mix of 80’s hits”.

Pat participated in a number of other events earlier this year, including May’s Music in the Park in Leyland, Lancashire, and May’s Butlin’s Big Weekenders and Let’s Rock Leeds retro festival.

In September of this year, a previous version of this story was released.

Lucy Fallon, Tina O’Brien, and Julia Golding were just a few of the guests. Colson Smith and Ben Price, Jack’s close friends, play a special part for the day. Rumours of a romance between Pamela Anderson and Liam Neeson gathered pace recently after the pair recreated the iconic scene in Titanic and posted it to social media. The pair have been on a promotional tour of their latest movie Naked Gun and were in Berlin at the time their recreation took place.

In the crime comedy, Pamela plays Beth, and Liam plays Frank Drebin, who is a thief who is trying to stop the police department from closing down, while Liam plays Frank.

As they larked around on a boat, Pamela and Liam’s close relationship was immediately apparent to everyone.

In the video shared with fans, Pamela took on the role of Rose, played by Kate Winslet, while Liam held her by the waist similar to that of Jack played by Leonardo DiCaprio.

In a green gown with a matching neck scarf, Pamela showed off her allure. Additionally, Liam wore a gray suit.

From the London to Berlin, this tour has been filled with joy, laughter, and love, she said in the video’s caption. Thank you to everyone who came out to giddy with us (and watch on the big screen)! NYC “Next”

The pair’s chemistry was once more evident at the film’s London premiere.

Liam declared to People magazine that he was “madly in love with her,” adding to the growing rumors.

He declared, “First of all, I’m madly in love with Pamela.” She’s just a fantastic partner. I’ll be open and honest with you about how much I can recommend her.

He continued, “She’s funny and so simple to work with.”

However, when Pamela responded to the romance rumors, Liam responded by saying she was “has a friend forever” and Liam quickly said he was “done with dating.”

We definitely have a connection that is very sincere and loving, she continued.

In 2009, Liam was left distraught after his beloved wife Natasha Richardson died two days after hitting her head during a ski lesson in Canada.

She claimed to have felt well and left her hotel room, according to reports. But she became ill just 45 minutes later.

She was taken by air ambulance to a hospital in New York the following day, where she received life support. Sadly, Natasha was unable to enter.

Since then, Liam has concentrated on his family and his craft.

Both Liam and Pamela have been upbeat and playful throughout their promotional tours. And Liam recently made up a joke about how the “sex scenes” are his favorite scene.

While filming, the co-stars received an intimacy coordinator.

Liam said to The Sun, “I’d never had one before,” recalling their close interactions. But she was a background character. There was no such thing as “OK!” Please excuse me! ‘”.

The co-ordinator then claimed Pamela had fled, and Liam has recalled that at one point she had threw her hands in the air and said: “I can’t take this! I can’t stand this hot. I’m having coffee.

Adam Sandler says Netflix ‘tried to intimidate me’ as he teases next movie

Following the release of his 1996 comedy classic Happy Gilmore 2, which premiered on Netflix today (Friday, July 25), Adam Sandler was contacted about his upcoming project.

Netflix allegedly tried to intimidate Adam Sandler while dropping bumbling hints about his potential next project.

During a recent appearance on The Dan Patrick Show, the Hollywood heavyweight was grilled about his upcoming work following the debut of Happy Gilmore 2, the sequel to Adam’s beloved 1996 comedy, which landed on Netflix on Friday, July 25.

This prompted the Big Daddy star to cryptically disclose that he’d recently faced off with Netflix executives, though Adam said he remained defiant when they attempted to “stare” him down.

Adam said, “Past, I wish I knew right now. I didn’t let it happen because I was just with Netflix’s management. They were trying to intimidate and stare me down.

He continued, “I said, Wait for this,” Soon enough, Sandman will let you know what’s going on. Who is Sandman, and why? ‘I said, ‘ Me, me. C’mon, cut this s***”.

Dan then made it known that Adam, the Little Nicky actor, “let it slip” about his upcoming movie and that he “must write these damn things” at a dinner in New York.

He further resisted questioning by turning people’s attention to his most recent release. When asked, Adam replied, “Don’t,” claiming that it was “Happy Gilmore 2 time.”

In the original ’90s fan-favourite comedy, the Hollywood funnyman portrayed Happy, a hockey player who discovers he possesses a natural gift for golf and subsequently enters the PGA Tour in a bid to raise the funds needed to save his grandmother’s house.

The follow-up would prove to be brilliant news for fans. Indeed, one Reddit user posted on the site asking for Adam Sandler film recommendations ahead of its release.

Please let me know which of your favorite Adam Sandler movies I should watch tonight. I adored the song “Billy Madison and Happy Gilmore” from last night.

Any suggestions, even if I’ve seen them, please, please. Please let me know your favorites so I can put them on my list so I can add them if I don’t want to list them too long here.

As the recommendations poured in, one particular film stood out among the fan favourites: the 2006 comedy fantasy picture, Click, tells the story of workaholic Michael Newman, portrayed by Adam.

He receives a universal remote control from Christopher Walken’s character, Morty. However, this remote proves to be extraordinary, enabling him to pause, rewind, and fast-forward moments of his existence.

Lenny Henry used humour to protect himself while dealing with racist childhood bullying

Dudley-born Sir Lenny Henry made an open letter about the racist bullying he went through as a child.

Comedian Lenny Henry detailed how he used humour as his ‘sword and shield’ against the racist bullies in his childhood. The 66-year-old was born in Dudley in August 1958 to parents Winston and Winifred. His full name is Lenworth George Henry, and he was named after the doctor who delivered him at Burton Road Hospital.

In the past, Sir Lenny has revealed the abominable racist abuse that, in particular, he has experienced as a member of a Jamaican family in the West Midlands, in the 1970s. He had claimed that residents of the area where he lived frequently painted “Keep Britain white” on walls and that they would frighten his mother by asking where her tail was.

The comedian claimed that Winifred, his late mother, was a key source of his support for racism in a recent interview. After moving to England from Jamaica as a member of the Windrush Generation, she was yelled at with “horrible things” in the street.

Due to the racist abuse they experienced, Black children in the area where he was raised were advised to go outside in pairs at the time.

He explained to The Sunday Times’ Culture Magazine, “We were in the midst of this tumult, but you don’t realize that when you’re young. You simply gravitate toward those who want to snog you or like you.

“My humour became my shield and sword.” With a joke, I could deflect something. When I began to discuss how ridiculous it was for one child to roll around on the floor like they were married, I was being verbally abused.

“Suddenly, people started laughing and assumed I was valuable.” Although I was still being punched, I would be protected by others. By the time I was 12 years old, Greg, Mac, and Tom were my only white friends. They really saved my life, and I still think about them today. I was encouraged to be funny.

He previously claimed that the National Front smeared “N. F.” in excrement on his and ex-wife Dawn French’s door, and that this racism persisted throughout his entire career.

Even abusive letters and rags that had been burned through the door were threatened to be sent to them. We had words strewn into every panel of every car, according to Dawnn, who used derogatory, racist language.

Lenny’s career began when he first appeared on New Faces at the age of 15, and he eventually won with his portrayal of Stevie Wonder. He began a stand-up routine on The Black and White Minstrel Show, where actors dressed as minstrels sang minstrel songs two years later.

However, Lenny received “creeping dread” from the fact that she was the only black performer in this fundamentally racist show.

He said, “I would know when I arrived at the theater that I would be the only actual black person in the building, perhaps the only one within a 50-mile radius.”
