Surprising celebrities who are supporting Donald Trump: Piers Morgan to Mel Gibson

Tomorrow will see the election of the country’s next president, and several famous people are supporting either Kamala Harris or Donald Trump.

Democrats have long enjoyed a celebrity advantage over Republicans, which has grown during Trump’s rise in politics. But despite the advantage, celebrity backing is not always enough, as shown during Hillary Clinton’s 2016 campaign, as she was supported by the likes of LeBron James, Beyoncé, Jay Z, and Bruce Springsteen but was still defeated by Trump.

Taylor Swift, Cardi B, Julia Roberts, Oprah Winfrey, and Jennifer Lopez, who both spoke on the campaign trail in Las Vegas and blasted comments about Puerto Rico at a Trump rally, are among the prominent celebrities who have supported Vice President Harris this year. Which famous people, however, have backed former president Trump? Here, we take a look.

Piers Morgan

Piers Morgan has said he believes Trump could “end up winning quite big” in what he described as “one of the great comebacks in political history.” During an interview with Fox News on Saturday night, the 59-year-old broadcaster said he believes “the Trump train is steaming to victory” – just as he thought back in 2016. He also said he has met many people who are “prepared” to vote for Trump “even if they don’t like him” or they didn’t vote for him last time “to stop Kamala Harris becoming president.”

Piers, who has known Trump for years and admitted that they are friends, tweeted on Sunday: “Anyone who thinks they know for sure what’s going to happen on Tuesday, doesn’t. Anything could happen, including a close win for Trump or Harris, or a win over Trump or Harris, with all the swing state polls so close. Trump could ultimately win big, according to my gut.

Mel Gibson

American actor and filmmaker Mel Gibson said he would be voting for Trump and gave a scathing assessment of Democratic presidential nominee Harris. While walking through Los Angeles International Airport on October 24, the Braveheart actor was asked about his thoughts on the election by TMZ.

He replied: “Whoa, that’s a big question.. I don’t think it’s going to surprise anyone who I’ll vote for”. He then switched his attention to Harris as he blasted what he described as the Vice President’s “appalling track record”, saying: “I know what it’ll be like if we let her in and that ain’t good. terrible track record – terrible track record There are no policies to mention. And she’s got the IQ of a fence post”.

Elon Musk

Elon Musk has publicly backed Donald Trump, holding rallies and even promising to distribute a $1 million (£770, 000) check to registered voters in key swing states until the election tomorrow. The owner of X, Tesla and Space X also donated roughly $75million (£58million) to American Pac, the political action committee he founded to support Trump’s campaign.

Additionally, he has been using his X posts to entice people to support Trump. Last month, the world’s richest man showed his “Make American Great Again” hat to a cheering crowd during a Trump rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, saying: “As you can see, I’m not just MAGA, I’m dark MAGA”. According to data from the non-partisan research group Open Secrets, the billionaire wasn’t overly political in the past, despite saying he supported Barack Obama in 2008 and 2018 and giving money to Hillary Clinton during her 2016 presidential campaign.

Kanye West

Rapper Kanye West, also known as Ye, endorsed Trump in 2016 and even visited the former president in the Oval Office during his presidency. Earlier this year, when asked by paparazzi whether he still supports Trump, he replied: “Yeah, of course, it’s Trump all day.”

Dr Phil

American TV personality and author Phillip Calvin McGraw, known professionally as Dr Phil, has shown his strong support for Trump, and sat down with the former president to discuss the election in an interview earlier this year. Dr Phil also appeared at Trump’s Madison Square Garden rally in New York and said: “Lord knows he doesn’t need me to stand up for him.

” He’s tough as an old army boot. He’s got lots of enemies, different groups that are scared, and between them, they have impeached him, indicted him, raided him, railroaded him, shot him and sued him. And where is he? He is still standing. “

Russell Brand

Another celebrity who has expressed support for Trump is Russell Brand and said during an episode of his Stay Free with Russell Brand podcast in June: “They act as if a vote for Donald Trump is almost like you’re directly voting for Armageddon … But I’m starting to think that no, a greater threat to democracy is this kind of technological feudalism, that tells you that it cares about you and that it’s protecting vulnerable people, all the while increasing censorship, increasing the funding of wars, increasing the division between ordinary Americans.”

BBC Strictly Come Dancing Amy Dowden’s sweet response after fans spot ‘tears’

Amy Dowden, the star of Strictly Come Dancing, was very happy after her famous partner and another professional over the weekend.

As Amy watched from the studio on Saturday night with tears in her eyes, JLS singer JB Gill and stand-in professional partner Lauren Oakley recorded the highest score of the season’s Strictly Come Dancing. The dancer, who is normally JB’s partner, missed last Sunday’s pre-recorded results programme after being taken to Barnet Hospital from the BBC One show’s production centre, Elstree Studios, as a “precaution” after she began “feeling unwell”.

The Welsh Strictly professional discovered a lump in her breast the day before her honeymoon last year, prompting her to be diagnosed with stage three breast cancer. After a mastectomy and chemotherapy, Amy announced in February that she has “no evidence of disease” Lauren, 33, who does not have a partner for this year’s series, stood in for her, performing a Bruno Mars medley with JB for Icons Week, for a score of 39.

On Saturday night, JB Gill danced with Lauren Oakley (Guy Levy/BBC/PA) rather than Amy Dowden.

JB shared a photo of himself and Lauren breaking up on the BBC dancefloor as it became known Sam Quek and Nikita Kuzmin had been eliminated from the competition and he took to Instagram on Sunday night. The singer captioned the shot: “‘ Put yo, pinky, fingers, to the, moooooon ‘

” Wow! What a weekend. I just want to say thanks to @lizzie. Thank you guys for making my couples’ choice dance so special, Gough &amp, @mrballchange, and everyone who supports us and votes, you guys are the best, and I’m SO HAPPY to continue this amazing journey, no matter what obstacles it throws my way! You guys allowed @laurenmayoakley and I to shine brightly for @amy_dowden and do everyone proud! Still in the fog and appreciative of having survived another week.

On JB’s Instagram update, Amy was one of the first to comment. She penned underneath her partner’s picture:” So proud thank you all for voting! But most of all, you two are so proud and forever grateful! @jbgill @laurenmayoakley]love heart emojis] week 8 woooooohooooooolll. “

Amy Dowden, who looked very emotional in the studio (BBC), joined JB Gill and Lauren Oakley.

Lauren and JB’s performance was a hit with the judges on Saturday night, with judge Motsi Mabuse commenting:” I feel like you’ve just come out of your shell, and you’re like, ok, I’ve learned a few things that past weeks and everything has come together. I think everybody that dances commercial, hip hop, street dance feels represented, because you gave it the true essence with a swag, you know, bumping up low, keeping down there. “Craig Revel Horwood added:” It wasn’t that good, there were two moments where the synchronicity was out. But my goodness, commercial is your thing. Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant. “

Amy claimed that Lauren, JB, and Amy had been a “real dream team” prior to their performance. Amy watched on in the audience on Saturday night, with Strictly viewers spotting tears in the 34-year-old’s eyes. She applauded the couples as they climbed the stairs while accompanied by presenter Claudia Winkleman, who is dressed in all black.

Turning to Amy, Claudia asked:” You three did this together this week, didn’t you? “Amyd replied:” Yes, it’s been a real dream team, even to the point where Lauren put in our chat, ‘ J, do you want a coffee? ‘ To which I replied: ‘ Yes, you’ll have a vanilla latte’. “Amy also wished JB and Lauren” the absolute best of luck “earlier in the day on Instagram.

Patsy Kensit says she’s given up trying to find a man in heartbreaking admission

In a heartbreaking admission as she celebrated being single, Patsy Kensit has admitted she has given up trying to find a man.

Following a number of arguments, the 56-year-old actress called off her fiery engagement to property tycoon Patric Cassidy earlier this year and has already walked down the aisle four times. Patsy confessed she “believes in love”, but after a string of failed relationships, she’s ready to embrace singlehood and take a break from dating for a while.

Patsy was first married in 1988 to Dan Donovan, but the couple split in 1991. She and Simple Minds frontman Jim Kerr married in 1992, and they welcomed their son James a year later. They divorced in 1996. Her most famous marriage was to Liam Gallagher, and Patsy tied the knot with the Oasis singer in 1997, and they welcomed a son, Lennon, in 1999. But one year later they divorced, after their marriage was rocked by claims of Liam’s infidelity.

Patsy then wed DJ Jeremy Healy in 2009, but they split ten months later. Since then, the former EastEnders actress has vowed never to wed again until she met property magnate Patric Cassidy. He popped the question during a romantic dinner at celebrity haunt Scott’s in Mayfair, but just months later, they had split.

Now, she’s ready to be single and “adjust” her life to make herself happy. “I wouldn’t want a relationship, I am not interested. I do believe in love”, she told Hello! magazine. “I’ve been on my own for a while, and I like my own company,” says the woman who said, “but for me, that’s not something I need.” Now, it’s just adjusting my life to fill the hole that’s in my soul”.

She also discussed the agonizing demise of her 2021 skincare brand, Preciously Perfect, and forced the sale of her home. Patsy dismissed reports she was wealthy because of her “past marriages”, and said she had to “start again” after the brand went bust overnight. “I’ve always owned houses, but I had to sell it and start over.” It was brutal, particularly because I have worked so hard and then suddenly I was like: ‘ Who am I? ‘” she shared.

She has no contact with her exes, but supports her sons having a good relationship with their famous fathers
She supports her sons’ strong relationships with their famous fathers (Internet Unknown), but she has no contact with her ex-boyfriends.

She told The Mirror earlier this year that she had no intention of speaking to any of her ex-husbands, but that she was supportive of her two sons, James and Lennon, who had a positive relationship with their fathers. She said, “My goals have always been to have my sons have a really good relationship with their fathers.” “For me. I haven’t spoken or had contact with those men. I support their fathers very much, but I don’t have one. I like it that way”.

Patsy didn’t comment on her break-up with property tycoon Patric, and when news of their engagement ending began to emerge, her spokesperson confirmed the split with a brief statement. “I can confirm that they have split, and I respect that she has her own space to discuss this.” She is currently very busy working”, they told The Sun over the summer.

Music Titan Quincy Jones Dies At 91

Quincy Jones, the star of the music industry and the producer of some of Michael Jackson’s most well-known albums and worked with legends like Frank Sinatra and Count Basie, passed away at the age of 91, according to US media.

His death was confirmed by his publicist, Arnold Robinson, in a statement that did not specify a cause, US media reported.

A jazz musician, composer and tastemaker, his studio chops and arranging prowess connected the dots between the 20th century’s constellation of stars.

From Frank Sinatra to Michael Jackson, jazz to hip-hop, Jones tracked the ever-fluctuating pulse of pop over his seven-decade-plus career — most often manipulating the beat himself.

Quincy Delight Jones Jr., who was born in 1933 in the south side of Chicago, met Ray Charles as a teenager and developed a talent for the piano.

After a brief education at Berklee College of Music in Massachusetts, Jones moved to New York, where he gained notoriety as an arranger for stars like Duke Ellington, Dinah Washington, Count Basie, and, of course, Charles.

He collaborated with Dizzy Gillespie for a while on Elvis Presley’s “Heartbreak Hotel,” before moving to Paris in 1957 to study under the renowned composer Nadia Boulanger.

Jones later expanded into Hollywood, scoring films and television shows.

Among entertainment’s most decorated figures, Jones won virtually every major achievement award, including 28 Grammys.

For the movie “Banning,” Jones was the first black composer to receive an Oscar nomination in the original song category.

Jones started a label, founded a hip-hop magazine, and produced the 1990s hit television show “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air”, discovering Will Smith.

He also arranged arrangements for dozens of stars in the industry at a breathless pace, including the addictively cacophonous “Soul Bossa Nova,” as well as his own hits.

But he was perhaps best known as the producer of Michael Jackson’s albums “Off the Wall”, “Thriller” and “Bad”.

“You name it, Quincy’s done it. Herbie Hancock, a jazz pianist, stated to PBS in 2001, “He’s been able to take this genius of his and turn it into any kind of sound he chooses.”

“He is fearless. If you want Quincy to do something, you tell him that he can’t do it. And of course, he will — he’ll do it”.

Curse of Dawson’s Creek – James Van Der Beek cancer to life-shattering loss and breakups

Dawson’s Creek was a must-see Sunday morning viewing spot for hungover students and angst-ridden teenagers across the nation back in the days of T4.

Should Joey be with Pacey or Dawson in the storylines, which was a big deal? Joey and Jen might ever have true friendships. And the show didn’t shy away from hard-hitting subjects, such as the tragic death of Jen Lindley, played by Michelle Williams, from a heart condition in the final series.

The rest of the group’s happy ever-afters came after six series of overwrought soul-searching and deep and meaningful conversations that lasted beyond their teenage years.

Dawson Leery, played by James Van der Beek, became a Hollywood director and got to work with his hero, Steven Speilberg.

Joey and Pacey Witter (Joshua Jackson) shacked up in a swanky New York apartment, working as a publisher and a chef respectively.

Meanwhile, Jen’s little girl was adopted by her best friend Jack McPhee and his partner, Doug Witter, Pacey’s older brother. But what happened to the stars of the show – from life-shattering loss to Oscar winners, Scientology and suicide, a lot has happened since the cameras left Capeside…

James Van Der Beek (Dawson Leery)

When filming finished in 2003, big things were anticipated from James, 44, as the show’s star and the person behind its name.

Before it was time to put down Dawson’s camera for good, he already had a foot in the door of Hollywood, appearing in blockbusters like Varsity Blues and The Rules of Attraction.

When the show ended, James had a full slate of A-list movies and was named one of People Magazine’s 50 most attractive people in the world when the film was over. Texas Rangers, Scary Movie, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, and others.

But by 2006, he was appearing in straight-to-DVD movies such as horror flick, The Plague. James made a comeback to the small screen that year, and he even performed in numerous off-Broadway productions.

Several recurring roles followed, included a part in the hit US show, Ugly Betty, and the long-running sitcom, How I Met Your Mother, and he even played a serial killer in Criminal Minds.

James certainly knows how to make fun of both his younger sibling, Dawson. He was cast as a filmmaker who, if he had tried, could not have been more different from Dawson when he won the role in the teen drama One Tree Hill in 2008. Two years later he played a make-believe version of himself in the TV series, Don’t Trust the B**** in Apartment 23, which he earned rave reviews for.

He had previously played the womanizing boss of a Mercy intensive care unit and had even made an appearance in one of Kesha’s music videos for Stolen. He also competed in Dancing With The Stars and came in fifth overall. He has since turned his attention to reality TV.

He and Kimberly Brook, who he married twice, first to actress Heather McComb and then to business consultant Kimberly Brook, who he tied the knot with ten years ago. Kimberly and her sixth child, Kimberly, were expecting a baby in November 2019 despite the couple having five children.

They made the announcement in September of last year that they would relocate to Texas from Los Angeles.

James revealed that he had bowel cancer this weekend, shocking the audience. Despite the diagnosis, the 47-year-old said there was “reason for optimism” and that he was “feeling good” as he made the announcement. He stated to People, “I have colorectal cancer, I’ve been dealing with this diagnosis privately and have been working with my incredible family to get it resolved.”

Katie Holmes (Joey Potter)

Joey Potter was the brooding tomboy who every girl wanted to be
Every girl wanted to be the brooding tomboy (Channel 4), but Joey Potter was it.

Joey Potter was the sassy and charming girl who all girls and boys wanted to date.

And the actress hasn’t been in the news much since she started hosting the show, at least not in part because of her failed marriage to Hollywood gypsy Tom Cruise.

Katie, now 42, was no stranger to the silver screen, appearing in Go, Teaching Miss Tingle, Wonder Boys, The Gift and Phone Booth in the late Nineties and early Noughties.

After Dawson’s Creek was over, there were a number of eccentric indie movies, including Pieces of April and The Singing Detective, before Katie made her big break.

Joey and Jen had a love-hate friendship

In the same year as her husband-to-be, she was cast as Rachel Dawes opposite Christian Bale in Batman Begins.

The couple enjoyed a whirlwind romance, with few able to forget Cruise’s bizarre appearance on Oprah Winfrey’s show, where he jumped on the sofa while talking about Katie.

They were engaged after just seven weeks and their only daughter, Suri, now 14, was born on their first anniversary.

In a lavish Italian ceremony in 2006, Katie and Tom were reportedly standing in a hole in her wedding photos to avoid soaring over their respective spouses.

By filing for divorce from her Scientologist husband just six years later, Katie tipped Tom off. She never discussed her marriage publicly, but she still has custody of Suri and met Jamie Foxx on the show. She is currently dating Emilio Vitolo, Jr., the chef.

Katie has also now tried her hand at directing, to strong reviews, with All We Had, and appeared on screen with greats such as Michael Caine.

Jackie Kennedy was also portrayed by her in a television show about the well-known American political family.

Michelle Williams (Jen Lindley)

Michelle, who played wild child Jen, has arguably gone on to have the most success out of the Dawson’s Creek cast. She has won two Golden Globes and four Oscar nominations for her roles in frequently dark and gritty movies.

In Brokeback Mountain, a tragic tale about a gay man hiding his true feelings for his friend, she made her breakthrough acting debut. She would be introduced to Heath, her potential partner, and her first Oscar nomination. The couple went on to have daughter, Matilda, but broke up in 2007.

Michelle and Health Ledger had daughter Matilda together before his tragic death
Before his tragic passing (FilmMagic), Michelle and Health Ledger had a daughter named Matilda.

And she was shattered by Heath’s death aged just 28 the following year, and when it came to selling the home they’d once shared in 2014, she was heartbroken.

At that time, I was inconsolable, because I felt, How will he be able to find us? She told WSJ Magazine in 2017 that she would never know where we were because this is where we used to live.

Since then, Michelle, 40, has stayed tight-lipped about her personal life.

She and musician Phil Elverum were briefly married in 2018 and first got married in 2012. She dated actor Jason Segel in 2012. Then, with her partner, theatre director Thomas Kail, she gave birth to her second child.

Meanwhile, her career has also gone from strength to strength with roles in My Week With Marilyn, Shutter Island, Oz the Great and Powerful, Venom and The Greatest Showman.

Since her time as Gwen Verdon in the television series Fosse/Verdon, where she also served as an executive producer, she has only ever appeared on television once.

Joshua Jackson (Pacey Witter)

As Dawson’s best friend, and then bitter enemy when he fell in love with Joey, Pacey stole teenage girls hearts around the world.

Joshua, who had previously appeared in The Might Ducks movie series, was a familiar face to the Dawson’s Creek cast.

And before a slew of film roles featuring some of Hollywood’s biggest names, he first appeared in Cruel Intentions as Pacey.

Joshua, 42, starred opposite D ennis Hopper in Americano, Harvey Keitel in Shadows In The Sun and Donald Sutherland in Aurora Borealis.

After that, he performed in London’s West End alongside Patrick Stewart, but it appeared Joshua’s heart was destined for television.

For five years he played the lead role of Peter Bishop in JJ Abrams created sci-fi series, Fringe, and last year played lawyer, Mickey Joseph, in the Netflix series When They See Us.

Following, The Affair and Little Fires received critical acclaim all over the world.

Katie Holmes, a co-star of Dawson’s Creek, and Diane Kruger, a fellow actress, started dating in 2006 after dating her for the first two seasons.

Before declaring their union a success, the couple lived together for ten years. After that, Jodie Turner-Smith and Jodie married in December of this year, and the couple welcomed their daughter Janie in 2020. However Jodie filed for divorce in 2023 citing ‘ irreconcilable difference. ‘

Kerr Smith (Jack McPhee)

Despite playing 16-year-old Jack in Dawson’s Creek, Kerr was actually 26 when he joined the cast.

Jack’s coming out scenes influenced a generation of struggling teenagers.

And since the show ended, Kerr, 49, has rarely been off screen, starring in horror films like Final Destination and having a starring role in the sitcom, The Fosters.

More recently he’s appeared as the headteacher in Riverdale, had a recurring role in Riverdale, Criminal Minds, NCIS and Agents of S. H. I. E. L. D.

But these days, Kerr and his second wife Lisa run a wellness business, which he prefers to pursue rather than TV and film roles.

A “preventative, holistic approach to guiding people on their personal journey to mental, physical, and spiritual growth, while creating balance in all areas of life,” describes TerraLife Wellness as a holistic health and wellness company.

Busy Philipps (Audrey Liddell)

Before the gang all relocated to college, Busy didn’t make an appearance as Audrey in Dawson’s Creek, but he quickly grew to be a favorite of the fans.

Audrey came along towards the end of the show
At the conclusion of the show (Sony Pictures), Audrey joined her.

For the remaining two seasons of the show, she and Pacey had close friendships.

Busy, 41, has certainly lived up to her name since filming wrapped on Dawson’s Creek, starring in another long-running TV show, ER, and appearing in films likeMade of Honour, He’s Just Not That Into You and I Feel Pretty.

Along with acting, Busy also launched her own talk show, Busy Tonight, which was cancelled after one series, and has written her memoir, This Will Only Hurt A Little.

The actress and presenter also supports the right to access abortions with her passionate and outspoken support.

Mary Beth Peil (Evelyn ‘ Grams ‘ Ryan)

As Jen’s long-suffering Grams, Mary Beth was always on hand to offer sage advice to the young characters.

The actress, now aged 80, hasn’t let anything slow her down and is still a regular on our screens.

One of her most high profile roles since Dawson’s Creek was as Jackie Florrick, mother of governor, Peter, in The Good Wife.

Mary Beth even reunited with her former Creek co-star, Joshua Jackson, in Fringe.

She frequently appears on Broadway in productions, but her last one, The Village, was in 2019, was inconsequential.
