Tyler Perry’s very blunt response when asked about Meghan Markle and Prince Harry

When asked about his friendship with Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, and her husband, Prince Harry, the Hollywood film mogul Tyler Perry responded in a curious manner.

The 55-year-old filmmaker is worth a reported $1.4 billion (£1.1 billion) thanks to his range of film studios and other business ventures. In order to establish their own roots in California, former Suits star Meghan, 43, and her husband, Harry, 40, famously borrowed one of Tyler’s enormous mansions as a place of residence.

Meghan and Harry’s 2022 Netflix documentary series, which revealed the couple had no knowledge of the movie businessman before they requested a loan from him for one of his homes, explored the close friendship. Tyler reportedly offered the couple the use of his private jet and security team while they settled in addition.

Meghan acknowledged that she burst into tears after being appreciative of Tyler’s kindness, and she claimed that she found it simpler to “open up to someone who knows nothing at all” about her. Tyler has now expressed some frustration that conversations about Meghan can occasionally overshadow everything else.

Tyler appeared in Meghan and Harry’s 2022 Netflix documentary (Netflix)

When Tyler was asked how he helped Harry and Meghan get ready for their impending American immigration, he said, “[conversational intimacy] evaporated. He then explained that Meghan was originally from California and that there was no need to change.

The Why Did I Get Married? The actor then stated, “But I will say this: Any question that is asked becomes the headline of anything I say. Because there’s this insatiable appetite to know all about them,” Tyler has been revealed to be the godfather of Meghan and Harry’s daughter, Lilibet, and has gushed about her in the past.

The star revealed that he refers to his goddaughter as Little Lili when he first appeared on the Let’s Talk Off-Camera With Kelly Ripa podcast last year. He gushed: “She’s so adorable. Oh, she’s so beautiful. She’s just so beautiful”.

Throwing attention and affection on Meghan and Harry and both of their children, including son Archie, Tyler continued: “They make beautiful babies—that’s all I’ll say. Some of their children are beautiful. Archie and Lili are beautiful”.

Additionally, he mentioned that Meghan had leaned on him for support during her 2020 move elsewhere in the conversation. He explained, “I got a terrible sense of how overwhelming it all was for her.” I got the sense that—listen, I know what it’s like to have a father who is not great, so seeing some of the things he was doing, I felt that she was very much isolated and alone”.

There are many people who don’t have a name or aren’t a part of a royal family, and they just need someone to be there for them, he continued, “I wanted to be a safe place.”

Strictly Come Dancing’s Arlene Phillips explains her ‘one dieting rule’

Arlene Phillips, the star of Strictly Come Dancing, explains her “one dieting rule” and how she maintains her fitness at age 81. The former judge and choreographer on the BBC show also mentioned her fear of injections, but she’d like to try weight-loss medications.

Dame Arlene admitted she would have stayed if she had had the chance. She admitted to leaving the BBC show as a result of a row over potential ageism. My only diet is to always have a packet of chicory in my bag, according to one person who is on the subject of maintaining weight. I’ll say to myself, “No! ” if I’m hungry and ready to reach for crisps or a Cadbury Dairy Milk Wholenut bar. You’ve got your chicory. ‘”

But she acknowledged that now that she is in her 80s, she may need to occasionally use caution: “This year has not been a good year for my weight, not at all.” Sometimes I make the choice that my mind will stick with what I’m eating and how should I prepare it. Other times I just think, ‘ You’re in your eighties — you can have what you want. Make sure you’re enjoying everything you eat! ‘”

She added: “I wish I had the courage to go on Ozempic. I dislike getting injections, and I’m not sure how thoroughly tested it is to make sure it’s okay. However, I’d prefer to shed those extra pounds that appear to have attached themselves to my body. I’d like to make it easy”.

The veteran dancer, who worked on the show between 2004 and 2008, was on the show’s inaugural judging panel. The BBC firmly refuted allegations of discrimination against older women on television after she was replaced by Alesha Dixon in 2009.

On her exit she said: “I can’t absolutely say that ageism led to my leaving Strictly. I’ve never been told that my age had anything to do with where I went. We used to have annual contracts at the time, but contracts are for a finite amount of time. We all knew they weren’t guaranteed to last. I believe I was chosen to make the BBC’s request for a change.

” Len Goodman’s death was difficult for me. We had a wonderful dynamic as Strictly’s fellow judges, and he was a beautiful person. You could tell Len was Len from every angle. There were no airs and graces. He always used to say, ‘ I’m just a boring teacher from Dartford. ‘ And I think that’s where he kept himself, no matter how his career expanded. “

Dame Arlene and other judges claimed that they and other judges did not believe Strictly would succeed in its early stages. None of us thought it was going to be a success, it just was small – I could actually say intimate – but no-one other than Bruce (Forsyth) was confident.

When you look back at the first episodes, you can tell how agitated everyone was and how we were reacting as if we were just in the studio, as opposed to how it developed into a drew in millions of dollars. We were just all sort of uncomfortable, we hadn’t had enough rehearsals, we had a production assistant crawling behind us saying ‘ Press your buzzer’.

Watching Natasha Kaplinsky develop gave me the impression that people were enjoying it. She didn’t want to do the show, she was a serious newsreader, but she was persuaded to do the show and was so nervous, and then gradually what you saw was Brendan (Cole) and Natasha there every week improving.

He hardly ever looked at her on the first number, but they suddenly joined forces as a couple, strong and powerful, week by week, and after about week four, we all began to pause and say, “Hang on, there’s something here” (Pain).

Inside Noel and Sue Radford’s £7k Christmas – 60 Yorkshire puddings and piles of presents

Sue and Noel Radford have begun the Christmas preparations.

In less than three weeks, the 22 Kids and Counting stars need to ensure that everyone is accommodated for the largest family in the country.

The family, who became famous on the Channel 5 show, are participating in “vlogmas” this year, where YouTubers post clips of what they do throughout December.

From multiple Christmas trees, to 60 Yorkshire puddings, it looks like it’s all go for the Radfords this festive season, which Sue previously revealed cost a whopping £7, 000 in previous years.

So, as they gear up for this Christmas, here’s a look inside Britain’s biggest family’s mammoth preparations, from pigs in blankets to wrapping piles of presents…

Piles of presents

Sue begins wrapping her family’s gifts in September, three months before the big day, meaning she has to buy them even earlier. She also needs to ensure she has enough wrapping paper because they typically manage to get all of their children to use between 50 and 70 rolls.

The matriarch revealed in 2018 that she has a spending range of between £100 and £200 for each of the children’s main presents. She claimed to put money away in an account for the holiday season for the entire year. I also sell food items on the food store’s savings stamps.

Every year, the family buy around 300 presents, which includes the ‘ main gift ‘ and then ‘ bits and bobs ‘ for each of their children. However, Sue admitted that her kids children don’t always get what they want, as sometimes the items they request are too expensive.

Despite having a £240 RRP, one of their children requested a Barbie doll house, which was available online for $ 700. However, some Channel 5 show viewers have gotten irritated by the Radfords’ TV work and large following on social media because of their gifted experiences and brand coverage.

A variety of Christmas trees

When Sue and Noel returned from school, they surprised their children by turning the living room into a winter wonderland by installing their first Christmas tree in November.

Sue, who adores the holidays so much that she calls herself “Mrs. Claus,” took on the difficult task of setting up the living room in less than an hour. “Quick, we’re under pressure”, she said to Noel, as they hurriedly dug out the artificial green snow-frosted tree.

But, the proud parents didn’t stop there. There are lights and baubles all over the place in a clip from their YouTube channel.

“They can decorate all their little trees]in their rooms]”, explained Sue, adding: “I do really enjoy doing the Christmas tree in the living room, they will probably help do the one in the dining room”. Additionally, Sue and Noel annually bring out special Christmas bedding to increase the excitement in the children.

There are some 30 guests for Christmas dinner on the 25th December

60 Yorkshire puddings

The Radfords divide the tasks on the big day to make things easier by cooking Christmas dinner for more than 22 people each year.

While Noel takes care of all the cooking, Sue is in charge of preparation and does a huge supermarket shop, buying around 10kg of potatoes, 4kg of carrots, 60 Yorkshire puddings and 120 pigs in blankets.

The total bill is said to come to around £400 and that’s before they’ve bought any of the meat for their 30 or so guests, all waiting to be fed each year.

The adults can usually prepare their meals for the day, but the younger children will need to help themselves; however, everyone needs to do the washing up.

To kick off the Yuletide season, the family is said to have also reportedly threw a lavish breakfast on December 1. They displayed their hundreds of pounds worth of holiday calendars, elf-on-the-shelf cake pops, and a red bucket stuffed with Christmas chocolates last year.

Another luxury holiday?

Sue and Noel frequently leave their brook in December to enjoy the season’s festivities. They chose the Winter Wonderland experience after attending a festive Center Parcs event last year. The family-friendly holiday site offers cozy cabins and outdoor activities.

The Radfords also stopped off for some food at The Pancake House before taking to Instagram, posing with actors in Christmas-themed costumes.

When the family flew to Florida, they enjoyed their 19th holiday of the year. We had such a fantastic day last week at Universal Orlando, and we absolutely adored this place. We even took the Hagrid, which is by far the best ride ever, when we uploaded photos from the trip to Instagram.

The family posed with Mickey Mouse inside the famed theme park grounds while enjoying rides, snacking on ice creams, and taking selfies with him. Fans were enthralled to see the family enjoying their vacation, with many questioning Noel and Sue’s ability to afford such travels for such a large family.

How can they afford it, a fan asked in response to the collection of photos. The thought of going there is a dream for my frightened child. And another typed: “I wish I could afford to do that for my son”, followed by the crying emoji.

Fans of Sue, Noel, and their family will be aware that they operated a successful bakery for years without using any of their income. Hitting out at trolls who judged their jet-set lifestyle previously, the protective parents wrote in their memoir, The Radfords: Making Life Count, “We don’t claim benefits, the pie company is very successful and so is our media business. We work hard but we’re not millionaires. The nastiness is upsetting though. Simply put, we want to be able to provide for our children.

Who do you think should win I’m A Celebrity tonight? Vote in our poll

After three weeks of terrifying Bushtucker trials, creepy critters, and torrential rainfall, one campmate will be crowned King or Queen of the jungle in tonight’s I’m A Celebrity final – but who do you think deserves the title?

Coleen Rooney, Danny Jones, and Rev. Kelly were the final contestants to be eliminated from last night’s episode, leaving Strictly Come Dancing star Oti Mabuse. Richard Coles in the competition. The dancer and her husband Marius Lepure met on the bridge and exchanged a passionate kiss after a remarkable 19 days spent camp.

Speaking to hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly, Oti confessed her favourite part of jungle life, saying: “Everything. The conversations, getting to know people. Opening up. And all of that. You just come out as a stronger, different person. There was quite a lot of]crying]. I didn’t know I was a crier, well know I know! I will never get to do this experience again, it’s so unique and beautiful”.

The mum-of-one added: “I think I’ve learned to be happy with who I am, and that group kind of let me be all different versions – loud, crazy, calm, frustrated. I just felt more mentally and spiritually strong because they let me be who I am. Oti acknowledged that Danny was her favorite campmate when asked which one she wanted to see win.

The final four faced the eagerly awaited Celebrity Cyclone, where they donned the iconic superhero capes, after the most recent departure. The campmates were doused with slime, water, wind, and other objects as they placed stars throughout the cyclone in the fan-favorite challenge.

The final trial for tonight, titled Towers of Terror, will feature the remaining three competitors attempting to retrieve stars in separate wooden boxes that are then filled with snakes. The stars want to gather as many stars as possible for their final night in camp in order to win a dinner banquet.

As our poll currently stands, Coleen is favourite to be named series champion, scooping 46 percent of votes. Taking to X, one fan gushed: “I really like Coleen. Honestly what a lovely, kind, humble woman. No airs and graces. Mucks in and doesn’t complain. She’s a diamond. I think she is my winner”.

Meanwhile, Danny is in second place after raking in 36 percent of votes, as another fan penned: “He’s spoken about so many important stuff in this series and he’s been the Danny I’ve seen for 21 years of being a fan. Real until the end. Don’t assume he is safe! Vote for “this incredible man to win”!

Finally, Rev Richard has received 18 percent of votes, as another viewer posted: “Rev Richard deserves to win. He doesn’t have a successful band that’s going on tour. He doesn’t have a mansion with 2 bars and a football pitch. He would benefit from it more than any of the others, in my opinion.

We want to know who you believe should be the King or Queen of the jungle now that the series 24 winner has been announced. To have your say, vote HERE.

Maura Higgins reaches out to Pete Wicks from Australia as Strictly future hangs in balance

Maura Higgins has been adjusting to life outside of her 5-star hotel since leaving I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here.

However, it appears that the 34-year-old TV star made sure to take advantage of her busy schedule to text her boyfriend Pete Wicks as he works to pass the Strictly Come Dancing final. Taking to her Instagram account, Maura, who found fame on Love Island back in 2019, posted a video of Pete performing on the BBC show.

And she captioned her post saying: “Go on @pete_Wicks01!! Let’s get them to the final”. She then posted a link to “Vote Powita” encouraging her followers to vote for him. In recent months, Maura and the former TOWIE star’s relationship has become a hot topic, but the pair have consistently refrained from confirming or refuting reports.

However, Maura finally revealed her relationship to Pete while she was in the jungle when she spoke with her fellow campmate Oti Mabuse. Before committing to romance, the former Love Island star acknowledged that she had been dating Pete for five years. However, it appears he had repeatedly expressed his emotions to Maura and continued to do so.

Pete Wicks is being urged to vote for the Strictly star (ITV) star by Maura Higgins in a sweet message from Maura Higgins while she is in Australia.

Oti, who is best known for her work on Strictly, inquired about what Maura needed to change to accept the reality TV star’s advances. And in response, the Irish star simply said: “He wouldn’t give up”. Maura admitted that she had brought her friends with her because she had refused to admit that she was dating Pete and was going on a romantic relationship.

She responded to Oti, “I actually brought my friends with me and I was like, “See it’s a friendship date. ” After a boozy night out, the pair enjoyed another date without her pals around. They had oysters and wine on the way home.

And Maura’s admission that they both laugh and laugh in “24/7” makes it seem like they couldn’t be more compatible. Despite expressing her feelings for Pete, Maura remained a little aloof when describing her relationship with him as being open.

Maura quickly clarified that she was single while she washed her underwear with GK Barry. She said: “I’m single. People can date without being in a relationship, and they can move things along. What’s the point in getting them involved too soon, when you just don’t know where it’s gonna go, you know”?

At the National Television Awards after-party earlier this year, Pete and Maura had a close relationship. At the time, a source said: “Pete did look cosy with Maura at points but he wasn’t shy about telling people he was single”.

What’s really going on with Tulisa and I’m A Celeb as she snubs certain campmates and only some reply

After missing tonight’s finale, Tulaisa Contostavlos insists that she is “sending love to her jungle fam.”

The 36-year-old N-Dubz star has been surrounded by reports of feuding with her best friend and being upset about the show’s editing since the public gave her marching orders, as well as hot-footing it to the UK and deleting all I’m A Celebrity posts from her Instagram.

She apologized to her campmates for missing the final while thanking ITV for her Down Under experience in an Instagram post today. Sharing snaps of only two celebrities, she wrote: “Looking back at some of my favourite moments from the @Imacelebrity jungle. It’s been a whirlwind. Before the final tonight, I want to thank @itv for the experience and for sending my Jungle Fam love. I’m sorry, but I’m unable to join you all for the celebrations.

Tulisa previously claimed she was unhappy with how her friends had kept tabs on her social media accounts while she was in Australia, but she now posted a number of photos of her time there.

Alan Halsall and Oti Mabuse are the only campmates the singer has ever pictured in her video. Tullisa described Oti as the most beautiful person she had ever met in her only interview after the show with Lorraine Kelly, saying: “I loved her. She’s just the most beautiful. Oti was one of the first campmates to reply to Tulisa’s message today, posting two love hearts.

Also responding to the post was Dean McCullough, who immediately replied telling the absent star: “We love you. You, my babe, are with us in spirit and I look forward to seeing you when we return home. Maura Higgins also took the time to reply, writing: “Miss you wanna squeeze you love you”. Tulisa mentioned her friendship with Maura, Melvin Odoom and Alan Halsall, telling Lorraine: “they were like my soul family in there”.

The other campmates have not yet responded, and it’s unknown if the former X Factor judge will post photos of any other celebrities in her montage as she adjusts to living outside of the jungle.

Tulisa Contostavlos
The singer also included this snap of Alan Halsall in her montage on Instagram (ITV/REX/Shutterstock)

After leaving camp on Tuesday, Tulisa was not at the hotel to greet former co-star Melvin, who was also inside. There is “no bad blood” between Tulisa and her campmates, according to what was reported at the time.

It’s strange that Tulisa and the other stars weren’t there at the hotel, according to a source who spoke to the Sun. Everyone on the outside just wants her to be okay, and ITV and her campmates are encouraging her.

Tulisa left the hotel as a result of her speaking out about rumor that she had a “huge row” with close friend Michelle McKenna after leaving the jungle. While Michelle was away, Tulisa’s Instagram account was run, but it was reported that the “female judge” wasn’t happy with some of the posts.

A source told Mail Online that when she saw what had been put on there after she left the jungle, she became upset and had a big row. You have to wonder if her friends must have been really irritated by her doing that while she was roughing it in the jungle.

Tulisa, however, hit back at the suggestion, saying she had “no issue” with Michelle or her boyfriend, Daniel Johnson, who came to Australia to support her.

She said in a post: “Absolutely no issue with my sis’s posts. I haven’t argued with my best mate in over 10 years. We literally don’t have arguments, they don’t exist in our world. Only love. Same with my bro. That’s what makes us so strong &amp, my soul fam so special to me. Say what u want about me, but leave my Shelly &amp, Dan alone”.

Since leaving camp, Tulisa has addressed the deleted Instagram posts about I’m A Celebrity that were also posted on her account. She said: “Hey guys, I’m just doing a little video to clear a few things up. I felt okay at first when I emerged from the jungle, but then one evening, my friends went to bed, and I was just trying to take a casual look at some funny stuff on Instagram.

Maura Higgins
When Maura Higgins broke her silence today (Dec 8) on ITV, she showed love to Tulisa.

I was receiving a lot of attention and bombardment, which was all in a good way, but because it’s been a while for me, I can get overwhelmed quite easily, and I just started to feel a little bit overwhelmed. And I was like, do you know what? I need to just relax for a moment and unwind. All of this is just currently sexy in nature.

“I’m going to just archive all of my stuff that has to do with the jungle, and then, when the time comes and I’ve had enough time to process it, I’ll create my own reels of my favorite bits.” Because remember, I haven’t been doing my Instagrams. I would have one or two really good reels about the jungle and putting my time together there because of how it’s being posted and all the random stuff.

It’s okay to feel a little overwhelmed, but I just really wanted to explain the reasons I did that and be honest about it. I’ve had my demons for a long time, but I’ve been largely unfocused and still trying to get past them. It just means I need a little time to process it and get my thoughts straight. I’m not going to hide behind a rock for another ten years. Thank you to ITV and I’m A Celeb for being really understanding. I’m extremely grateful for the love and support I’ve received because my mental health is very important.

Admitting life in the spotlight again after a 10-year hiatus was ‘ overwhelming’, she concluded:” I’ve just felt overwhelmed. I’ve been in the jungle with people I’d only met for two and a half weeks, and I’ve come out after receiving a lot of attention. I’m like, “Wow, this is a lot!” and I just need a bit of time. “

* The final of I’m A Celebrity is on ITV at 9pm on Sunday
