Bake Off host Alison Hammond makes her views clear on ‘commitment’ after split rumours

Following false rumors of a breakup with her boyfriend David, TV personality Alison Hammond, 50, has shut down the rumor mill surrounding her love life by praising the value of commitment. The couple, who have been a thing since December 2023, were rumored before recent photos revealed their new appearance.

On the “Smart TV” podcast, bubbly Alison shared the message of commitment in a heartfelt conversation with Loose Women’s Judi Love, saying, “You’ve got to work on it, you’ve got to have all that passion, you’ve got to want each other, you’ve got to choose each other, haven’t you, and commit.”

What’s the point, she continued, “There’s got to be that commitment, because if there’s no commitment, then what’s the point”?

Alison and David were captured in a tender moment on a daytime stroll, putting on a strong display.

Alison previously faced backlash from critics over the age gap in her relationship, dismissing David’s “toyboy” tag in an interview with Good Housekeeping UK.

She said, “I can see how, on paper, you’d notice the age difference,” and she was right. To be honest, when we see the word “toyboy” written about us, it has no connection to what we actually have. You would understand that even though I am 22 years older than him, you would have seen us interact. I’ve been told, “We get it now.” ‘”.

She claims that because of their personalities, their relationship is more developed. He’s so mature and wise, and I’m not, Alison said. And his words to me are just so lovely. We fit and everything comes together like a puzzle.

Sparks reportedly broke out between Alison and David during a £150 massage session. The Great Celebrity Bake Off for Stand Up to Cancer will be Alison’s next big TV show, along with Noel Fielding, Paul Hollywood, and Lady Caroline Waldegrave, a temporary judge on Channel 4.

Caroline confessed her nerves to WalesOnline, telling them, “I was completely terrified,” taking Prue Leith’s usual spot. Then, when I arrived, I went to the shepherd’s hut where I was given a welcome sign and there were signs outside. and flowers

Clueless, The Musical review: 90s nostalgia fest with KT Tunstall sprinkling her magic

Would purchasing a ticket to Clueless the Musical, the hottest new musical production in the West End of London, be a waste of money?

Ugh ! As if !

The beloved film is the most recent cult classic to receive a lavish musical makeover, following in the footsteps of Cruel Intentions, Mean Girls, and The Devil Wears Prada. The 1995 adaptation of Jane Austen’s Emma, with its meddling heroine reimagined at a wealthy Beverley Hills high school, served as inspiration for the original Clueless.

New Yorker Emma Flynn steps into Cher Horowitz satin shoes after taking over the lead role in Alicia Liverstone’s well-known role. Cher Emma, an IT girl, is absolute perfection as the conceited but always well-intentioned teenager whose wardrobe everyone wants to steal.

As expected, the costumes change seemingly endlessly while the clothes change. The show is a visual feast, from the iconic yellow three-piece checked suit to that Calvin Klein white slip. The cast poses with their enormous mobile phones and Walkmans while playing to VHS tapes on the sets, which also serves as a nostalgic trip.

Alicia Silverstone, Brittany Murphy, Stacey Dash
In the wildly popular 1995 film adaptation (Elliott Marks/Paramount/Kobal/RE), Alicia Silverstone, the late Brittany Murphy, and Stacey Dash.

The dialogue in the musical stays true to the original film, but the gags still sound like they’re coming from a different film: “Do you prefer” fashion victim “or” assembly challenged”?

The incredible supporting cast features Cher’s pals, Dionne and Tai, who are “friends because they both know what it’s like to have people be jealous of them.” Fans of the original film and beyond should watch the show because of its cutting one-liners, toe-tapping tunes (the soundtrack was written by singer song writer KT Tunstall).

She’s all that and a bag of chips was the closing song, despite the assumption that the majority of the audience was hearing it for the first time on the night. By the end, the audience was dancing along to the curtain call.

Kate Lawler, Vanessa Feltz, and Lizzie Cundy were seen at this week’s opening performance of Clueless: The Musical at the Trafalgar Theatre in the presence of the likes of Vanessa Feltz and Lizzie Cundy.

Kate arrived in a tweed dog-tooth co-ord, sheer black tights, and platform Mary Janes with the right attire. Wearing a matching pair of shoes and nude strappy heels, Sofialite Lizzie also received the seal of approval.

Jenni Falconer, Konnie Huq, and Drag Queen A’Whora, who resurrected Cher’s entire outfit, were on hand to support them.

The Trafalgar Theatre in London will house Clueless The Musical until September 27, 2025.

EastEnders actress unrecognisable living a very different life 27 years on from soap

Carly Hillman, who left the soap a quarter of a century ago, is now living a completely different life and looks brand-new.

In the 1998 BBC soap, Carly, 41, reprised Nicky di Marco’s role. Nicky was Nicky’s best friend and the protective older sister of Sonia Jackson from the show’s long-running characters, Beppe and Gianni.

Nicky encountered some heartbreaking circumstances as a teenager despite her loving family and friends. After realizing her grades were too low, Rosa’s mother chose to work with her and employ Rod Morris as a tutor.

Tragically, the teacher sexually assaulted the schoolgirl after she attempted to kiss him and tried to seduce him. Big brother Gianni visited Rod and brutally assaulted him after she ran home to tell her family.

Carly, who was previously a troubled teen on the soap, now has her own daughters without Nicky’s drama (Twitter).

Nicky’s (and Carly’s) exit from Albert Square in 2000 after explaining the full story to her family, who was unsure of her decision to move into a youth hostel.

Years later, Carly prioritizes music over acting. She lists herself as a professional female singer who can provide live entertainment for events in Essex, Hertfordshire, Suffolk, London, and Kent on her website, which reads “Carly Hillman is a professional female singer providing live entertainment for your wedding, party, bar, restaurant, or any other function.”

The website states that “Carly’s live singing performances can include ballads, R&amp, B, Soul, Disco, and pop music.” With her extensive knowledge of what’s needed to make any occasion memorable, Carly’s vast experience as a live performer has given her a great understanding of what’s needed.

Carly spent a number of years in the performing arts before switching to musical theater. She first appeared in the 2002 film Harry and Cosh, and later earned roles in shows like RJ Williamson Shakespeare Company, New Vic Workshops, and Ian Dickens Productions, as well as TV and theatre credits.

Along with Danny La Rue, Jim Davidson, Bradley Walsh, Joe Pasquale, Stephen Mulhern, and other stars, Carly also appeared in numerous pantomime appearances, including those in Cinderella, Aladdin, Aladdin, Dick Whittington, and Snow White.

In the early 2000s, Carly also pursued a musical career, releasing the song Mutual as part of the British R&amp, B group Urban Lady. The impressive era is described on Carly’s website as “she performed at major venues all over the UK, supporting various popular artists.”

The Essex-born actress also established her own Romford-based performing arts school, Act One Stage School. Carly and her husband Ben Probert welcomed two daughters into the world in 2009, taking a break from her professional life to concentrate on their family.

Jacqueline Jossa’s family cut ties with Dan Osborne after their shock split

Following her alleged breakup with husband Dan Osborne, Jacqueline Jossa’s family has reportedly offered her support.

The couple’s dramatic breakup is reported to be amicable despite their eight-year marriage, which comes amid the shock news that they have separated dramatically. Selina, the Eastenders star’s mother, has now unfollowed Dan on Instagram, who she had once dated and was previously friendly. Meanwhile, Katrina, Jacqueline’s sister, is still following the actress on social media.

Since 2013 and their wedding in 2017, Jacqueline, 32, and her TOWIE husband, 33, have two young daughters, Ella, 10, and Mia, 7, respectively. The couple appeared to have remained strong despite facing numerous obstacles over the years, including allegations of adultery and a terrifying kidnapping incident.

However, recent reports suggest a change, with both reportedly removing their wedding rings. Dan allegedly left Jacqueline and their children behind after moving out of their lavish £2 million home in Essex.

After months of speculation from enthralled fans, their marriages started to show up, including when they were spotted at a movie premiere without their engagement rings on. The couple’s family members reported earlier this year that they had decided to split up and were now living apart.

They kindly ask for respect and privacy as they navigate this together, according to a statement that read: “Jacqueline and Dan are handling things privately, choosing to keep their lives and relationship out of the public eye.” Their children are always in charge, surrounded by both parents’ love and care, a quality that will never improve. Above all, Jacqueline and Dan are concerned about the best interests of their children. There won’t be any more comments.

According to a source close to the couple, “Jacqueline and Dan are taking a break and are taking each other’s company.” They have made this difficult decision because it hasn’t been easy for them lately. They added that although neither Jac nor Dan are certain of what will come next, their break was “need.”

The reality star publicly apologized to his wife in an open apology after being accused of infidelity in 2019 after the pair’s relationship ended. He took to Instagram to express his regret, saying, “I know I have made mistakes, as humans do, and we all do. After weeks, months, years of constant articles & rumors, some true, some very untrue, I want to publicly say.

However, I’ve made some decisions that almost cost my family. I want to express my regret to my beautiful wife and my family for the errors I’ve made in public because I have learned so much from them.

Five members break into row while attempting to clear up ‘myth’ about band name

When asked about the spelling of their chart-topping outfit, five-pieces got into a fight.

Sean Conlon, 43, Ritchie Neville, 45, Scott Robinson, 45, Abz Love, 45, and Jason “J” Brown, 48, the group’s original founding members, who were born in 1997. The pair released a number of other hits, including the number one smashes Keep On Movin’, Let’s Dance, and the Queen collaboration We Will Rock You, as well as their first single, Slam Dunk (Da Funk), which debuted at number 10 in the UK charts that year.

The group split in 2001, but it later underwent a change in 2006 before splitting again in 2007 in a second split. They reunited in 2012, but without J and only occasionally with Abz, but they recently won over fans by revealing that all five members had agreed to form and would embark on a 2025 tour.

Fans have now been exposed to a head-spinning truth, as the band has revealed that their name has been spelled incorrectly for decades. Fans have known to call Five “5ive,” but the boys insist that this is a spelling mistake.

Richie insisted that “we didn’t” when asked if they should have changed the letter five from their name’s spelling. Although Scott stated that there is a 5 in the [Slam Dunk (Da Funk)] video, it was never included on any of our albums. Because Spotify has the 5 features, it’s incorrect. We are known as “F,” “I,” “V,” and “E.”

Sean said, “I can’t understand – I know I’m going to get a lot of backlash – you’re going to attack me – I don’t understand what’s so upsetting about it,” and Sean responded, “I can’t understand.” J continued, “I don’t like it”! Additionally, Scott continued, “It looks silly. like 5Five . We’re called Five, please, please, please, but we’re not 5Five.

Five and all five members of the group returned to sing and dance for the entertainment of fans last month when they announced they were reunited for a Keep On Movin’ 2025 Tour. This has been a long time coming, said Scott in a statement, and it feels right now to everyone. When I say, “We can’t wait to do this all over again,” I know I’m speaking for all the boys. I’m hoping you’re prepared”!

Abz continued, “We really can’t wait to get back on stage together and, see the fans, it’s going to go off”! While a band’s official statement stated that “The five of us are reuniting for a tour across the UK!!” We’ve been waiting for this for a long time, and it now feels right for everyone – 25 years later, we’re so excited about it. It’s going to go off! We’re really looking forward to returning to the stage and seeing you all in person. Let’s gooooooooooooooooo!”

The tour will start in Brighton on October 31 along with dates in Bournemouth, Cardiff, Nottingham, Liverpool, Manchester, Leeds, Birmingham, London, Newcastle, Aberdeen, Glasgow, Belfast, and Dublin. The band added, “International fans, make sure to sign up there so we know where you are too” while teasing potential dates for new dates.

Danny Jones’ wife shares hopeful post after apology – but she’s still not forgiving him

Despite having a positive response from her devoted fans, Danny Jones’ wife still finds herself forgiven for his drunken kiss with Maura Higgins.

The I’m a Celebrity, please remove me! The BRIT Awards after party on March 2 caused married Danny, who has a son of seven with Georgia, to issue an apology two weeks later. The co-stars stunned the audience when they appeared to be locking lips.

Georgia has taken a lovely photo of some daffodils on Instagram with the caption “SPRING” despite not making any comments on the incident. The former Miss England, who is still living with her boyfriend, is still moving forward despite the positive role, because the Mirror reported that Danny is not leaving the dog house yet.

Georgia is now “extremely embarrassed” by everything Danny has endured, according to a source close to her. The boyband star claimed on Friday that his wife is “working through things,” but that she isn’t yet ready to forgive and forget.

Georgia still hasn’t forgiven her husband, but she posted a positive picture on Instagram (thegeorgiaedit/Instagram).

A source told The Sun that Georgia already believes that all has been pardoned and that she does not want people to think she is a pushover. She was concerned that the images of her and Danny together gave the impression that everything was fine, despite the fact that that is incredibly untrue.

Danny finally acknowledged his misdemeanour in a post on Instagram after two weeks of audible silence. He apologized to Georgia and his family, saying, “I apologize, but I’ve taken some time off to be with those closest to me.” My wife and family have been in such a predicament, so I sincerely apologize. We’ll continue to deal with this in private because I adore them so much. I appreciate you all’s patience, understanding, and support. Danny, I’ll see you soon.

Meanwhile, Maura flew over to LA for a photo shoot where she poses as a cowgirl in a pickup truck. She claimed to have experienced a backlash following the kiss with Danny in private, though.

According to a source, “Maura is a tough character, but the reaction to the events of the past week has been utterly relentless, and it’s fair to say it’s taken its toll.” She has found it very challenging to navigate all of this. Although she appreciates that she is in the public eye and that her fans are interested, the abuse is excessive and needs to stop.
