Christine Lampard looked amazing as she enjoyed a lavish family holiday in Lake Como. The Loose Women star, 46, showed off her fabulous figure as she relaxed at the hotspot alongside former footballer husband Frank Lampard.

The duo were seen chilling by the pool on Monday as Christine opted for a navy halterneck bikini to soak up the rays. The attire was paired with low-rise briefs as she also wore chunky black sunglasses. The presenter tied her hair back in a bun for the outing.

Christine was later seen sporting a floral sarong as she paddled through the shallow water. Frank, meanwhile, wore light blue swimming shorts as the duo sipped fresh Aperol spritzes by the poolside. After the cool-off was complete, Christine changed her light sarong, which she tidily folded, into a navy skirt matching her halterneck top.

Last month, Christine, who shares two kids with the former Chelsea man – Patricia, 6, and Freddie – admitted it’s sometimes tough to have their blended family.

Frank also has teenagers Luna, 19, and Isla, 17, from a previous relationship with Spanish model Elen Rivas. Christine recently admitted the family set up quickly felt normal, but admitted it wasn’t always so straight forward.

The duo initially hooked up in October 2009 and got married in 2015. They are approaching their 10th wedding anniversary this year, and Christine told the Sun: “It’s hard for all parties, that’s the truth. It can be difficult when there is emotion involved.

“You have to navigate everyone’s feelings and not just think about yourself in order to try to make it a happy ship. What I would say is you can absolutely get there. Some people have awful times, but then it’s brilliant.”

And she also admitted it was key that she “never stepped out on any boundaries” as she confirmed the importance of prioritising the kids. And Frank was also in a positive mindset about their link up.

Explaining the secret to their happy marriage, the ex-England man told the Mirror: ‘What keeps me and Christine going is we’re there to support each other and we make each other laugh. We have a similar sense of humour.

“Christine’s quite sharp and we’re normally thinking the same thing, so the same situations make us laugh – I think laughing together is important for a happy marriage.”

The duo also share a fondness of football and say that is a big factor in their relationship. While Frank’s accolades are clear, winning 106 England caps, Christine co-hosts the Not Just Football podcast.

In it, she discusses the sport and other subjects with TV presenters Hayley McQueen and Kelly Cates. Frank went on: “I do have a pretty good work-life balance at Coventry, but at the same time I sometimes have to be away from home and Christine takes the brunt of the parenting. We enjoy being parents together but it’s important to have time together, too.”

Sarah Ferguson shares heartbreaking update on how she’s been to ‘dark places’

After revealing she spent time in a Swiss clinic which focuses on mental health and addiction problems, the Sarah, Duchess of York, has candidly spoken out about her decades of mental health struggles, the reality of living with cancer and the turmoil that comes with royal life

Sarah Ferguson has opened up about her decades-long struggles with mental health during a trip to Switzerland

Sarah Ferguson has revealed she spent time in a mental health clinic in Switzerland, candidly sharing details about her decades-long struggle with mental health issues. The Duchess of York spoke out about her visit to the Paracelsus Recovery centre in Zurich, which hosted her as a guest, to discuss the importance of mental health awareness and support.

During her discussion with Dr Thilo Beck, the clinic’s lead psychiatrist, and Jan Gerber, its chief executive and founder, Sarah admitted that negative discourse online over the years, combined with her shocking double cancer diagnosis in 2023, sent her mind “to some dark places”.

In a message about her visit to the clinic, which is known for its care for those facing complex mental health and addiction challenges, Fergie wrote on Instagram : “Mental health touches us all – it has no boundaries. We need to promote open conversations about mental health and how we can improve access to mental healthcare across society.”

In the rest of her caption, she praised the workers at the clinic, writing: “What I found was not only a centre of clinical excellence, but a place of deep humanity. Conversations with Dr Thilo Beck and Jan Gerber, the clinic’s founder, were illuminating. Jan’s mission is one I deeply respect and share: to bring mental health out of the shadows and into open, compassionate conversation.”

“If you or someone you know is struggling, I encourage you to seek help. You are not alone, and there is no shame in taking the steps towards healing.”

Sharing more about her trip to Switzerland and her own mental health journey with the Telegraph, Fergie opened up about the “the profound scars” of her childhood that “led to feelings of unworthiness [that] contributed to an unhealthy attitude to food that often threatened to spiral into a full-scale eating disorder”.

She also candidly wrote: “Spending most of my life in the public eye has been a great privilege, but has also presented its own challenges.”

More recently, she admitted that her mind went to a “dark place” in 2023, when within months, she was diagnosed with both skin and breast cancer, which left her questioning her sense of self as she faced a long health struggle, both physically and mentally.

She wrote: “Most recently, I don’t mind admitting that my mind went to some dark places – focusing on my own mortality – when I was diagnosed with first breast cancer and then skin cancer, which my father had when he died and also killed my best friend.”

This is not the first time Sarah has admitted to seeking help for her mental health struggles, as she has long dabbled with psychics and, in 1992, was reported to have visited a “mystic healer” called Madame Vasso.

Fergie concluded her thoughts by explaining the real purpose of her visit to the Swiss clinic, writing: “We need to promote open conversations about mental health and how we can improve access to mental healthcare across society for all. Only by addressing the stigma head-on can society move towards a more compassionate and understanding approach to mental health.”

Lorraine Kelly left ‘stunned’ after being sacked and gave sad two-word response

TV presenter Lorraine Kelly has opened up about the moment she was told she had been sacked from GMTV, after she had just given birth to daughter Rosie

Lorraine Kelly has candidly shared the distressing moment she discovered she’d been dropped from GMTV while on maternity leave with her daughter Rosie.

Reflecting on the instability of being a freelancer, the veteran TV host, 65, spoke about losing her job just before she was scheduled to return to work.

Discussing the precarious nature of her work, she said: “You know what it’s like, I’m freelance, so you work from contract to contract and back then it was only a year’s contract.

“And I had Rosie on June the 8th and I was supposed to go back to work end of August, which didn’t give me much time off, but that was the way it was.”

Describing the no-nonsense atmosphere of her early days in broadcasting, Lorraine mentioned how the industry attitude was essentially ‘if you’re not there, you’re not being paid’, reports the Scottish Daily Express.

She admitted that finding out about her replacement while away from work brought her to tears.

On the Bedside Manners with Dr Oscar Duke podcast, Lorraine recalled receiving the shocking news: “I think it was about a week before, I got a call from the boss just saying, ‘Well thanks for everything, but we’ve got someone else now, all the best’.”

She revealed her stunned reaction: “I just was so stunned I didn’t even say anything. I just went, ‘Oh, okay then’ and I put the phone down and I just burst into tears because I thought, I’ve got this tiny baby.”

The presenter shared that during that difficult time, her husband Steve, also a freelancer working as a cameraman, faced financial pressures alongside her due to their “massive mortgage”.

In a bid to land a new role quickly, the presenter recounted how she sent out tapes featuring her “best bits” to various firms.

She then revealed: “Then what happened was, I got a call back from them about a month later to say that they wanted to do a mum and baby slot twice a week, because they got all this sponsorship from whatever company it was.”

When asked about her initial response, the presenter confessed: “And of course, the Glaswegian in me that wanted to say, ‘bugger off’.”

The sacking led Lorraine on a desperate job search

However, she held back, admitting: “But I didn’t say bugger off. I said, ‘Thank you very much’ and I went in to do that just twice a week, Tuesday and Thursday for a couple of weeks and it did really well because people were really interested in it.”

Following GMTV’s replacement by ITV’s Daybreak, Lorraine became part of the new show before being offered her self-titled programme.

Reflecting on her journey, she said: “I ended up going from working really, really early hours with someone else [which is] not always easy, to having my own show.”

Lorraine expressed that although being axed from GMTV initially seemed like “the world [had] ended”, she eventually recognised “it was the best possible thing that could have happened”.

Since 2010, the presenter has been at the helm of her own show, which currently airs weekly from 9am for one hour.

Yet, last month ITV declared a reshuffle in its timetable, indicating her screen time will be cut starting January 2026.

Lorraine’s programme will be trimmed down to a 30-minute slot, and Loose Women episodes will also see a reduction from airing 52 weeks of the year to just 30.

Victoria Beckham’s agony over new ‘tell-all’ woman as Kim Turnbull breaks silence

Romeo Beckham’s ex, Kim Turnbull, set the record straight on her relationship with Brooklyn Beckham yesterday after finding herself at the centre of the family’s feud

Victoria Beckham is “petrified” her son’s ex, Kim Turnbull, is going to lift the lid on the famous family’s “secrets”, according to reports. Kim, who split up with model, Romeo, recently, broke her silence yesterday after finding herself at the centre of the family’s feud.

Taking to Instagram with a defiant statement, Kim insisted she had never dated Brooklyn after it was reported that the hot sauce enthusiast was ‘concerned’ about the DJ’s motive for dating his younger brother amid whispers Brooklyn and Kim had dated when they were younger. However, Kim fired back, saying she was ’embarrassed by the lies’ and ‘can’t stay quiet any longer’, insisting: “I have never been romantically involved in ANY capacity with the person in question.”

Romeo’s mum, Victoria, is now said to be concerned that Kim might share private details about her time with the Beckham family, having been a big part of their inner circle – attending numerous family gatherings, and even David’s 50th birthday celebrations that Brooklyn and his wife, Nicola snubbed.

Speaking to Closer, a source said: “Just when Vic though the family drama couldn’t get any worse, Romeo’s split from Kim has poured more fuel on the fire. Not only was Romeo upset about the break-up, but they’ve heard whispers that Kim is hell bent on the world knowing the truth, given the allegations that she’s the reason the feud erupted in the first place.”

They continued: “Kim was privy to a lot of to a lot of personal details during her time with Romeo, including family secrets that Vic is now petrified she’s going to spill – not only to clear her name, but to boost her profile now she’s no longer tied to the Beckhams.”

On Monday, Kim spoke about the drama for the first time that has engulfed the Beckhams and cast a shadow over David’s knighthood announcement this weekend as his eldest son, Brooklyn, continues to ignore his achievement.

Taking to Instagram, newly-single Kim fired: “I’ve avoided speaking on this topic to prevent adding fuel to the fire, however it’s come to a point where I feel the need to address it so I can move on.”

She continued: “I will not continue to receive harassment or be embarrassed on the basis of lies, to fit a certain narrative.”

Seemingly addressing the Brooklyn rumours, Kim then clarified: “I have never been romantically involved in ANY capacity at ANY point with the person in question. Nothing between us has occurred further than a school friendship at age 16.

“I would like to remove myself from the ongoing conversation and set the record straight for the sake of everyone involved.”

Following the strongly-worded statement, Victoria is said to be feeling very “anxious” that Kim is going to set the record straight on the feud, which has been plaguing the Beckhams for month.

Claiming the artist formerly known as Posh Spice wanted to have NDAs (non disclosure agreement) “put in place” for her sons’ partners, the source said: “Vic’s feeling very anxious about it. It’s her worst fears imagined and the exact reason why she tried so hard to have NDAs put in place for her her sons’ significant others – which they all fought her so hard and refused to have them do.

“Now she’s petrified they’re going to pay the price and that Kim won’t hold back in setting the record straight, which she [Victoria] fears will only make the feud worse.”

The Mirror has contacted reps for Victoria and Kim on this story.

‘I spoke to Kim Woodburn before her death and one comment off camera stunned me’

Kim Woodburn has tragically died aged 83, following a short illness. The Celebrity Big Brother legend garnered a reputation during her career as a no nonsense commentator, not afraid to attack anyone she felt wronged by.

So when I had the opportunity to interview her at the end of last year, I immediately told my colleague I was nervous. With some tricky questions in place that included bullying claims, I prepared myself to be in Kim’s firing line. It turns out nothing was off limits and, as expected, she had a lot to say about multiple famous faces who, she claimed, had rubbed her up the wrong way over the years.

In particular, the 84-year-old admitted she still wasn’t a fan of Coleen Nolan, following a fall out between them on Celebrity Big Brother in 2017. At the time, Kim accused Coleen and some of their fellow housemates of bullying, though her co-stars denied this was the case.

She and Coleen went on to have a heated exchange on Loose Women after the series ended, which resulted in Kim shouting and storming off of the set live on-air.

Another enemy of Kim’s was Phillip Schofield, who she famously argued with on This Morning while discussing her experience on the reality show. Reflecting on this moment with me, she went on to spill that she also wasn’t a fan of his former co-star Holly Willoughby.

As part of her rant, she shared: “When I was interviewed by him he was rude, he was opinionated, he was on the edge of the sofa looking at me. [He said] Well, why did you go in?’ I mean, that’s not what a presenter does.”

She went on to say about Holly: “What did she ever do on the show? She was 14 years of Phillip Schofield, money for old rope, she didn’t do anything. She sat there when he was arguing with people, or questioning people on something serious and when it turned out, what did Holly do?

“Or when he was rude to someone, did she once ever say in 14 years, ‘Phillip, I think you’re wrong you know, no, come on’. Not once!”.

I was later invited back for another chat with her. This time around, she ranted even more, taking issue with the likes of Rebekah Vardy and Coleen Rooney.

But it was what she said after the interview ended that has stuck by me. Not realising I was still on the call, the reality star told the PR that my colleague and I were “really nice”, something I never thought I’d hear from Kim.

It shows that despite her tough-talking demeanour, the much-loved TV star had a softer side behind the glare of the cameras. Following the news of her death, many have paid tribute to the former How Clean Is Your House? star on social media.

A statement from her manager reads: “It is with immense sadness that we let you know our beloved Kim Woodburn passed away yesterday following a short illness. Kim was an incredibly kind, caring, charismatic and strong person.

Kim Woodburn, who tragically died at the age of 83 after a short illness, has left behind her loyal husband Peter Woodburn. While Peter, a former policeman, stayed out of the spotlight during Kim’s infamous TV career, the couple were married for over four decades.

The How Clean Is Your House star tragically died on Monday, and her beloved husband of 46 years, Peter, with who she lived in their Cheshire home, is “heartbroken” over the loss of his soulmate.

Kim and Peter tied the knot in 1979 after 4 years of dating. This was Kim’s second marriage after her first marriage to Kenneth Davies ended in divorce in 1975. Kim and Peter, who didn’t have any children together, spoke fondly of one another in candid chats and interviews.

Kim also openly discussed aspects of their personal life in a now-deleted Instagram Live session, where she shared that they maintained an active sex life, stating, “I get it three times a week. My husband is a very active man. He is a beast. A beast”, as reported in the Daily Star.

Peter has also occasionally featured alongside Kim on television as they both appeared on Channel 4’s A Place in the Sun: Winter Sun in 2016. They were on the hunt to purchase a holiday home in the Costa del Sol to use during the winter months to escape the cold weather in the UK.

Peter also spoke up in defence of his wife when she appeared on Celebrity Big Brother in 2017. Kim found herself in a heated argument with some of her housemates, but Peter said she was just being her ‘fiery self’.

Speaking to new! Magazine at the time, he said: “She doesn’t suffer fools and always tells it as she sees it. There’s no half-measure with Kim. It’s either full-on love, sympathy and laughter or if it’s an argument, it’s going to be a full-on, blow your brains out one.” She eventually finished in third place on the show after Jedward and the winner, Coleen Nolan.

A representative shared the sad news of her passing, labelling her “an incredibly kind, caring, charismatic and strong person”.
