In her brand new food show, With Love, Meghan, Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, opened up about the surname she now uses. But not everyone is too sure about it.

The Californian Royal, who left palace life behind five years ago, has long put aside her maiden name of Markle, but this is still the name to which she is often referred.

While chatting about fast food with Mindy Kaling in the second episode, Meghan can be seen gently correcting The Office actress after she remarked: “People wouldn’t believe that Meghan Markle ate at Jack in the Box”.

Offering some insight into how she refers to herself away from the public eye, mum of two Meghan replied: “It’s so funny, too, that you keep saying Meghan Markle. You know I’m Sussex now. You have kids, and you go, ‘ no I share my name with my children’…I didn’t know how meaningful it would be to me, but it just means so much to go ‘ this is our family name, our little family name'”.

However, just as fans were getting used to the idea of “Meghan Sussex”, King Charles ‘ second cousin Lord Ivar Mountbatten came forward with a clarification, insisting that the 43-year-old duchess had gotten it quite wrong.

Lord Mountbatten, who recently appeared on The Traitors (US), told Town &amp, Country: “It’s interesting because she’s completely incorrect. Her family name is not Sussex, her family name is Mountbatten-Windsor. Her children are called Archie and Lilibet Mountbatten-Windsor, they’re not called Archie and Lilibet Sussex because Sussex is a title”.

The aristocrat continued: “So, they are the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, but actually he’s Harry Mountbatten-Windsor and she would be Meghan Mountbatten-Windsor. My brother is the Marquess of Milford Haven, but his surname is Mountbatten, so he’s called George Mountbatten, the Marquess of Milford Haven. When I read that, it was an article about her new program, and she said that her family name is Sussex”.

He went on to clarify that he hadn’t yet tuned into With Love, Meghan, which hit Netflix on Tuesday, March 4, predicting: “I might be interested to watch it, it might not last long”.

However, it would appear that this food show is no flash in the pan, with Netflix confirming on Friday (March 7), that the series will be returning for a second season, which has already been filmed. Taking to Instagram with a video shared to her Stories, Meghan announced: “Lettuce romaine calm… or not (!) because I’m thrilled to share that Season 2 of ‘ With Love, Meghan ‘ is coming”!

Pop sensation Lady Gaga has revealed that she experienced psychosis five years ago.

The 38-year-old singer and actress opened up about her mental health struggles on The Interview podcast from The New York Times, sharing that she was disconnected from reality for a period of time.

However, she also spoke of a “special” moment that arose from this difficult time with her now-fiancé Michael Polanksy. The Poker Face singer shared: “Five years ago, I had psychosis. I was not deeply in touch with reality for a while. It took me out of life in a big way, and after a lot of years of hard work I got myself back”.

She went on to describe how meeting Michael was a turning point for her. “It was a hard time, and it was actually really special when I met my partner because when I met Michael, I was in a much better place, but I remember him saying to me, pretty early on, ‘ I know you could be a lot happier than you are'”.

Lady Gaga, who released her seventh studio album earlier this week, admitted that hearing these words was challenging. “It was really hard for me to hear him say that because I didn’t want him to think that of me. I wanted him to think I was like this happy, totally together person”.

She praised Michael’s character, stating: “From the moment that I met Michael, he had the most warm and kind disposition of maybe anyone that I had met in my whole life”. Despite her openness, the award-winning singer confessed that discussing her mental health is not easy for her.

She said: “It’s something that I have found increasingly harder to talk about. I hate feeling defined by it. It felt like something I felt ashamed of. But I don’t think that we should feel ashamed if we go through times like that. I mostly just wish to say, it can get better. It did for me, and I’m grateful for that”.

Lady Gaga and Michael first stepped out as a couple in 2019, and they announced their engagement in July 2024. Michael is credited with inspiring his future wife to return to the recording studio and create her latest critically acclaimed album, Mayhem.

The Oscar winner’s seventh studio album, Mayhem, recorded at Shangri-La Studios near her home in Malibu, has 14 tracks including Disease, Abracadabra and Bruno Mars collaboration Die With A Smile. Mayhem is promoted as being about “embracing the fractured pieces of oneself and discovering how they come together to form something unexpected and beautiful”.

Lady Gaga says making the album was like assembling a shattered mirror to make up the different elements of her artistic life. She said: “Even if you can’t put the pieces back together perfectly, you can create something memorable and whole in its own way”. The record is produced by the New York-born singer alongside Andrew Watt – who produced the Rolling Stones ‘ 2023 return Hackney Diamonds – alongside the singer’s fiancé Michael.

Lady Gaga has won 14 Grammys during her career, and has had four number one albums and six number one singles in the UK, with hits including Telephone and Poker Face. Born Stefani Joanne Germanotta, the Bad Romance singer was given an Oscar nod for best actress for A Star Is Born, and won an original song Academy Award for the film’s track Shallow.

Gaga has also acted in American Horror Story and House Of Gucci. In 2021, she released two records including a remix version of 2020’s Chromatica called Dawn Of Chromatica, featuring collaborations with artists such as Charli XCX and Rina Sawayama, and Love For Sale, on which she collaborated with the late Tony Bennett.

Actress Anna Kendrick has fuelled Blake Lively feud rumours as she was quizzed about her co-star at a red carpet event.

The actresses, 39 and 37 respectively, have teamed up for a sequel to their 2018 comedy thriller A Simple Favor. The follow-up, Another Simple Favor, had its premier at the SXSW film festival in Austin, Texas yesterday.

Two videos have gone viral from the event, both of which show Anna’s quick whit in response to being grilled about Blake Lively and her recent legal drama. During the red carpet event ahead of the screening, a reporter asked Kendrick: “How do you feel that the movie is being impacted by everything going on… in the world”?

While the question could have been about the looming threat of World War 3, it might also have been a reference to the legal dramas surrounding her co-star. Kendrick didn’t even flinch, and responded with a smile before moving along the line: “Why? What happened? I did Ayahuasca and the last year of my life has just gone, but I’ve heard the movie is amazing”!

The clip has begun circulating on social media, and fans have lauded how the Pitch Perfect star outwitted the tricky question.

“Anna Kendrick mastering the art of saying a lot without saying anything at all”, wrote one fan, with another describing it as “Oscar-winning evasion”.

In another moment Anna was seen signing autographs and posed for selfies with fans, before she was asked by one crowd member what it was like to be working with Blake, who is currently embroiled in a legal battle with Justin Baldoni, again.

The Pitch Perfect star responded with a blunt comment as she said behind what appeared to be a quickly fading smile: “Oh you know”. The telling remark was a huge contrast to Blake’s comments about working with Anna. When Blake was asked the same question in reverse, she said: “Oh it’s the best, I’m so happy”.

Fans have quickly picked up on the moment on social media as one wrote: “Ooh you know” saying much without saying much”. Another added:” She can’t even fake it “and a third remarked:” Anna’s already over it”. It has been rumoured the pair are in a secret feud as Anna was less than happy about Blake’s ongoing legal drama casting a shadow over their recent film.

Last month, Lively filed an amended version of her lawsuit against her It Ends With Us co-star and movie director, Justin Baldini, which makes a number of explosive claims.

The pair starred together in hugely successful hit It Ends with Us before Lively accused Baldoni, 41, of sexual harassment. He countersued Lively and her husband Ryan Reynolds, 48, for £321million, accusing them of trying to destroy his reputation and career.

One of the new claims states that Baldoni upset Lively by claiming he could” talk to her dead father, “the lawsuit alleges. The lawsuit says:” For example, he claimed he could speak to the dead, and on several occasions told Ms. Lively that he had spoken to her recently-deceased father.

“On one occasion when he claimed to have spoken with Ms. Lively’s dead father (a person whom Mr. Baldoni had never met), Ms. Lively attempted to deflect the comment with humor, telling Mr. Baldoni: ‘ let him know he owes me 40 bucks. ‘ Mr. Baldoni replied, ‘ Wait, does he really? ‘

” Ms. Lively was shocked that Mr. Baldoni was pushing the conversation further, and replied with another attempt at humorous deflection, stating, ‘ Oh god no. He owes me so much more than that. ‘

“Mr. Baldoni then closed his eyes, put his hand on his heart, and said, ‘ I was leaving my apartment this morning, and I reached into my pocket… and there was $40 dollars in there, that I did not put there. ‘ This exchange deeply disturbed Ms. Lively, and it was not (as Defendants have since claimed) limited to Mr. Baldoni simply claiming to pray for her father”.

Radio star Roman Kemp was allegedly ‘ furious ‘ after being linked to Maura Higgins at the BRITs – three years before her now infamous smooch with Danny Jones at this year’s star-studded event.

Former Love Islander Maura was falsely linked to radio presenter Roman following the music awards do in 2022. The pair were thought to have been introduced to each other at London’s O2 Arena, before ending up at the same after party in Soho after which, a few days later, a story emerged that claimed they had not only flirted but ‘ hooked up’.

A source at the time was quoted as saying, “Maura and Roman were flirting and all over each other. They were dancing together and laughing a lot. They seemed to be glued to each other’s sides all night”.

However, according to the Daily Mail, Roman was ‘ furious ‘ about the rumour doing the rounds at the time, “because it was simply not true”. A friend added that Roman “was merely being polite to her when they met”.

Influencer Maura’s colourful love life regularly makes the headlines, including her recent break-up from Strictly star Pete Wicks – but nothing has caused quite as much controversy as her boozy kiss with McFly singer Danny after the 2025 BRIT Awards, when a video swiftly went viral and appeared to show the brunette and married singer Danny locking lips.

Maura and Danny are thought to have become good friends during their jungle stint on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! last year and its thought the pair have remained in contact since leaving the Australian bush. Danny, 38, has been married to former Miss England Georgia since 2014 and they share a son, Cooper, seven. Neither Danny nor Maura has publicly broken their silence on their supposed kiss to date.

Meanwhile, a source has claimed that Maura’s ex, former TOWIE cast member Pete, is ‘ glad to be away from Maura Higgins ‘ after her controversial kiss with Danny. Pete, 37, and Maura called it quits just weeks before the star-studded music event. Maura reportedly ending the romance amid fears Pete had a wandering eye.

“This sort of attention is exactly what Pete doesn’t want”, a source close to Pete told OK! magazine when discussing Maura’s drama. “He’s seen this sort of media circus happen when he was on TOWIE and it’s not the sort of relationship he wants. It’s a shame because it will probably bring his guard back up and he just wants to find someone he can genuinely love”.

TV star Davina McCall vows to be friends for life with the surgeon who operated on her brain and saved her life last year.

The 57-year-old TV star underwent the complex five-hour operation in November last year, after a cyst was discovered during a routine body scan. While filming her documentary on the menopause, Davina was offered the scan and despite initially refusing, she eventually accepted, and the benign tumour on her brain was found by doctors in August 2023.

She admitted in a new interview that she ignored the diagnosis the cyst was benign, and wasn’t life-threatening. “I just heard the word ‘ benign ‘ and thought, ‘ Oh, that’s OK, ‘” she explained. More than 12 months later, she finally decided to have the surgery, and was operated on by consultant neurosurgeon, Kevin O’Neill in London. Now, the former Big Brother host has declared Kevin will be her friend for life after the five-hour operation.

Speaking to The Times, Davina revealed she had prepared for her death, even though the risk of dying during the operation was highly unlikely, and she heaped praise on Kevin, who she met with for the first time since the surgery. “We’re going to be friends for the rest of our lives”, she excitedly told him. “We are going to go out to dinner with our partners! We are going to do it”!

Davina, who has three grown up children – Holly, Tilly and Chester – with ex-husband Matthew Robertson, has a special bond with the neurosurgeon, and Kevin admitted he and the TV presenter have an “emotional connection”. He said of the mum-of-three: “Davina is a special person”. Later in the interview, she heartbreakingly recalled the conversation she had with Kevin before the surgery.

“I said to him, ‘ You do whatever you need to do. I put all my faith in you. ‘ He doesn’t need me screaming at him to keep me alive. He needs to be in the calmest and most confident place. I wanted to empower Kevin to do the best job he could”, she explained.

Now, Davina has made a full recovery, and revealed some of her symptoms, which she attributed to the menopause before the cyst was discovered, have gone, leaving her feeling more alert and active just days after the op. “I’d noticed that I wasn’t thinking so much. A week after the operation, it was like, ‘ Wow. My mind feels more active”, Davina shared.
