Bradley Cooper has wowed fans with his incredibly different new look for a surprise feature in a beloved show.

The Guardians of the Galaxy star opened the fourth season of The Righteous Gemstones, a black comedy following a family of televangelists hiding their true lives. While the HBO show is set over the past couple of decades, the latest episode took viewers back to the American Civil War, showing how the Gemstone family got into religion.

Bradley, 50, played robber turned Confederate chaplain Elijah Gemstone, and fans were blown away by how well he acted the part. Others, meanwhile, just loved his new look. In place of his usual Hollywood clean shave and fresh skin, the actor opted for a more rugged look with very unique facial hair – sporting long sideburns and a moustache while leaving his chin bare.

On X, formerly known as Twitter, viewers quickly praised Bradley’s new turn. “Bradley Cooper in Righteous Gemstones is the first time I’ve found him attractive”, one person wrote, with a second sharing: “Tuned in to righteous gemstones expecting to see my favourite worst people alive and instead I got to gaze into Bradley Cooper’s baby blues for an entire episode. No complaints”.

“Not gonna lie, I didn’t hate how Bradley Cooper looked on Gemstones last night”, said a third, while another fan gushed: “Bradley Cooper in this gemstones episode is lowkey the hottest he’s ever looked”.

Bradley may have been filming for the episode last June, when he was spotted out in New York City sporting the same bald chin and full sideburns while running errands. At the time, however, fans weren’t as taken by his out-of-character appearance.

“We have questions”, one penned on X, while another joked he’d had an accident while shaving. A second echoed the idea and shared a photo on their parody account, riffing that the actor had been “shaving]his] beard at 6am”.

Alongside focusing on new acting roles, Bradley is also said to be getting even more serious with his girlfriend Gigi Hadid. The very private couple has been dating since 2023, and rumours suggest that they might soon consider tying the knot. Unfortunately, their new romance seems to have caused tensions with Gigi’s former pal Suki Waterhouse, who dated Bradley for around two years starting in 2023.

Speaking about the breakup with British Vogue, Suki recently said: “I really will say that I’m pretty strong at this point, but when something very public happens to you and the story behind it is dark and difficult, and you’re actually not doing well, and you can’t explain yourself to the world, that’s very isolating and disorientating”. Rylan Clark couldn’t help but quip that his “wildest dreams” had been realised when he came face-to-face with a BBC star who bears a striking resemblance to him. Chatting with the Gladiators cast on his Radio 2 show, Rylan, standing tall at 6ft 4in, was struck by the likeness between himself and one of the new Gladiators.

Hammer, whose real name is Tom Wilson, is not only a champion rower with a history in football and sprinting but also stands at an imposing 6ft 5in and boasts “nearly 20 stone of raw power” as per his bio. Spotting their uncanny resemblance, Rylan told listeners that Hammer could be his “brother, maybe from the same mother”.

As he welcomed the Gladiators onto his programme, he exclaimed: “Who doesn’t love a Gladiator? It’s like my wildest dreams come true”.

Later, sitting across from the show’s latest sensation, Rylan mused that Hammer might be the inspiration he needs, jokingly saying: “Hammer is sat directly opposite me and we find it strange looking in each other’s face. He added, “I feel like I need you walking around my house so I can be like ‘ this is the motivation I need’. This is what I could look like if I did it properly”, reports the Manchester Evening News.

Chatting with the BBC, Hammer boasted: “A lot like a Hammer I’m forged, not made. I’m a hard hitter who’s not only a massive unit but quick and explosive. I’m a surprise. I’m here to stop contenders. I mean business”.

On his prep routine, he revealed: “I prepare by taking my state of readiness to the very edge, channelling my energy into the next task ahead. I also always think about not letting the people around me down”.

Patrick Kielty had a close bond with his mother who sadly passed away over the weekend.

The 54-year-old Irish presenter is the son of late Mary Keilty who died at the age of 84 on Saturday and who was laid to rest on Monday. Patrick’s father, Jack Keilty, had died in 1988 amid the Troubles in Northern Ireland – leaving Mary to raise Patrick and his two brothers, John and Cahal.

While Patrick is arguable one of the most famous presenters from Ireland – having helmed shows in Ireland, the UK and the USA – his mother kept herself largely out of the spotlight. However, Patrick would often open up about his close relationship with his mum – who he said continued to offer to do his laundry until he was in his 50s.

On Monday, hundreds of mourners lined the streets of Dundrum in Norther Ireland to pay respects to Mary – who had a history integrating herself into the local community. Patrick – who has been married to This Morning star Cat Deeley since 2012 and shares two young sons with him – and his family have said they will remember Mary as a “loving mother” and “devoted grandmother”.

Mother’s pride

While Patrick and Cat have high-profile careers as TV presenters, Mary was happy to be out of the spotlight. In 2012 she joined Patrick to help him run with the Olympic torch ahead of the the London Games that year. And Patrick has joked about his mother’s pride in his career.

While he has helmed shows for ITV, the BBC, Channel 4 and America’s ABC, it wasn’t until 2023 that he landed a high-profile job in Ireland when he was announced as the host of the Late Late show. Not long after he took over the role as the host of the late night show, Patrick quipped: “Mary Kielty is secretly delighted but not making any real public statements”.

And proving he has always been a mother’s boy, Patrick also shared during a recent appearance at the Amgen Irish Open, that Mary still offered to do his laundry for him. He said: “I think Irish mummies never really understand what age their youngsters actually are. So you do get a lot of offers like ‘ Do you have any washing ‘ and I would be like ‘ Well no, no that’s done, I’m 53 mum”.

Patrick shared a family snap with his mum to mark St Patrick’s Day in 2021, writing at the time: “Nothing to see here people. Just your typical Irish family. In their Aunt Kate’s front garden. About to go cruisin in the family cart. Being pulled by their pet donkey, Barney. Happy Paddy’s Day”.

A fond farewell

Following the sad news of Mary’s death, her family released a statement where they branded her a “loving mother” and “devoted grandmother”. The statement added she “will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her entire family circle, neighbours and friends”.

On Monday, Patrick was one of the pallbearers that carried Mary’s coffin to the Church of the Sacred Heart in Dundrum as those close to her gathered to bid her a final goodbye. In the eulogy, Mary’s eldest son, John, spoke about their “brilliant” childhood in the 1970s despite the ongoing challenges of the Troubles.

He recalled: “We had a brilliant childhood – the beach, the school, the castle and the football field within a few hundred yards and summer holidays in Wexford. What was there not to like? Being a stay-at-home housewife, Mary was brilliant mother. Between his day job and bands and dances at night, daddy was never there, and mummy took us everywhere.

” So I had assumed that daddy started us playing football, but Mary did, taking us in half of Dundrum to the matches in the car. He jumped on later on when he discovered that we might be half good at it. “

After John, Patrick and Cahal’s father died, Mary raised the three boys and became involved in local activities. John said:” Mary’s life changed in 1988 when daddy was killed. NFL sports star, Odell Beckham Jr, has been dragged into the P. Diddy scandal in a bombshell lawsuit filed against the Bad Boy star.

Diddy, 54, is currently awaiting trial from his jail cell in New York after being accused of sex trafficking, racketeering charges and transportation to engage in prostitution, which he denies.

A woman has filed an initial lawsuit against the multi-millionaire – last October, accusing the dad-of-seven of ‘ violently gang raping ‘ her at an Orinda, California home in March 2018.

The woman, as well as two other plaintiffs identified only as Jane Doe and John Doe, have now amended the lawsuit to include Beckham and comedian Druski (real name Drew Desbordes), accusing both men of rape.

In a statement to DailyMail.com, Diddy’s lawyers denied the allegations and said that the music mogul wasn’t at the Orinda, California home at the time of the alleged events. Beckham and Druski have also denied the allegations in statements posted to social media.

A statement from Diddy’s lawyers read: “This new complaint – brought by an attorney who has already been sued for defaming Mr. Combs – demonstrates the depraved lengths plaintiffs will travel to garner headlines in pursuit of a payday.

” Mr. Combs was nowhere near Orinda, California on the day the woman claims she was assaulted there, and the Contra Costa Sheriff’s Department has already confirmed the woman’s claims were determined to be unfounded following a thorough investigation.

“In an attempt to salvage her claims following the investigation debunking them, the woman has now invented an even wilder narrative, alleging a vast (and facially implausible) conspiracy between law enforcement, local civilians, and media industry players”. The Mirror has contacted Diddy’s reps for comment.

In a tweet on Monday, Beckham Jr. wrote: “I have been informed of the allegations about me in a suit in CA. I really can’t even believe that my name is mentioned in that matter. There is absolutely no truth to those allegations.

” I do not know and have never met this person that filed the suit. I was not anywhere near Orinda, CA at that time. In fact, I don’t think I have ever been to Orinda, CA. I have never done anything like that, and I would never do anything like that to anyone. I’m confident that these ridiculous claims against me will be dismissed. “

Druski, who said last year in a podcast that he had” been in attendance “at one of Diddy’s parties but” not one of them parties”, responded to the allegations in the amended lawsuit on social media.
