Well wishes were shared by Brooklyn Beckham this week following an update about his wife Nicola Peltz’s family. He’s been among those responding to news about one of his in-laws amid his rumoured estrangement from his own family.

Brooklyn, 26, and Nicola, 30, have reacted to the news that her brother Will Peltz, 39, has got engaged to Kenya Jones, 32. The actor and his fiancée, who is a model, announced their engagement in a joint post on Instagram tonight. Will, who is among the eldest of Nicola’s ten siblings, and Kenya, who is the daughter of the late record producer Quincy Jones, shared a photo of themselves kissing. They wrote: “JUST ENGAGED. My whole heart for my whole life.”

It comes after Brooklyn and Nicola were seen celebrating with some of her family on holiday in France in a video shared by her yesterday. The couple, who are understood to have been onboard a yacht whilst on the summer vacation, have been spotted out in Saint-Tropez this month.

It’s thought that Nicola’s parents Nelson Peltz, 83, and Claudia Peltz, 70, are among the other guests on the trip abroad. Nicola confirmed that Will and their brother Zach Peltz, 22, were with her in posts uploaded earlier this week.

Last month, Nicola and Brooklyn were among the guests at a party for Will’s birthday at the Roxy Theatre in Los Angeles. The trio posed for a photo together at the event, with Will seen with his arms around his sister and brother-in-law in it.

Nicola later said: “We all love celebrating you Willy. I love you so much.” Whilst Brooklyn described it as “such a fun night” in a post. Will wrote about the occasion: “Thank u to everyone who came out and thank u for the love.”

Brooklyn is said to have grown “so close” to his in-laws and it’s been suggested that he “doesn’t really feel like he fits into” his own family at the moment. It comes amid speculation of a rift between Brooklyn and his parents, David Beckham, 50, and Victoria Beckham, 51, over recent months.

Kate Middleton joins Elton John, Mick Jagger and First Dates star at glitzy state banquet

Emmanuel Macron and his wife Brigitte were honored at a dinner hosted by the King, Queen, Prince and Princess of Wales, Kate, and the Queen.

Sir Mick Jagger and Sir Elton John were the top names on the guest list for the French state banquet held by the King at Windsor Castle. The Rolling Stones’ lead singer was accompanied by his fiancée Melanie Hamrick, while the Crocodile Rock crooner Sir Elton was joined by his husband David Furnish for the lavish Royal festivity.

Sir Elton, renowned for hosting his own annual white-tie and tiara charity ball, was among the 160 guests who congregated at the King’s Royal white-tie event in honour of French president Emmanuel Macron and his wife Brigitte. Both musicians have residences in France and Sir Elton also owns a home in nearby Old Windsor.

Sir Elton is famously known for performing Candle In The Wind, reworded as Goodbye England’s Rose, at the funeral of the King’s first wife Diana, Princess of Wales, and he shares a close bond with the Duke of Sussex – Charles’s youngest son with whom the King has a strained relationship.

Other distinguished attendees who graced the sparkling banquet with Charles, the Queen and the Prince and Princess of Wales included actress Dame Kristin Scott Thomas, former England goalkeeper Mary Earps, who currently plays for Paris Saint-Germain, authors Joanne Harris and Sebastian Faulks, sculptor Sir Antony Gormley and Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer and his wife Lady Victoria Starmer.

At the regal banquet, King Charles found himself between President Macron and French culture minister Rachida Dati, while Princess Kate graced her first state dinner in almost two years beside the French leader and art historian Christophe Leribault of the Musee D’Orsay.

Queen Consort Camilla was spotted across the table, flanked by Mrs Macron and French armed forces minister Sebastien Lecornu. Adjacent to First Lady Brigitte Macron was the Prince of Wales, William.

The renowned rock legend, Sir Mick Jagger, was accompanied by Dame Kristin Scott Thomas and Alice Rufo, a top official from the French ministry for the armed forces, at his setting by the formal white place card “Sir Michael Jagger.”

Vision-impaired Sir Elton John broke tradition, sitting next to his husband instead of being separated as is customary at such events, with the Duchess of Gloucester on his other side. The iconic singer has been suffering with severe vision issues after contracting an eye infection. Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer found himself alongside football star Mary Earps.

Adding a touch of television charm, ‘First Dates’ maître d’ Fred Sirieix attended, and French pop sensation Mika was seated by the Duchess of Edinburgh.

Before the ceremony, William and Kate took a photo of themselves on social media with the caption “Ready for what promises to be a wonderful State Banquet this evening in Windsor.”

Kate also wore her Royal Family order from King Charles for the first time and brought a lily of the valley embroided evening clutch. She was seated next to President Macron and the pair chatted ahead of the start of the King’s toast, while on her other side was art historian Christophe Leribault, chairman of the Musee D’Orsay. Kate studied history of art at university.

Other royals joining the dinner tonight were Edward and Sophie, the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh as well as Princess Anne and her husband Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence.

Queen Camilla wore an ivory silk and crepe evening gown by Fiona Clare and a diamond and sapphire tiara that belonged to the late Queen. She also wore the Legion d’Honeur French sash, Garter Star and the King’s family order.

With Sage, Raw Tomatoes, and Extra Virgin Olive Oil Dressing, French chef Raymond Blanc prepared a menu featuring a selection of succulent summer vegetables from the Gardens of Le Manoir.

The next course was Supreme of Rhug Estate Chicken with Norfolk Asparagus and Tarragon Cream, followed by Iced Blackcurrant Parfait on a Blackcurrant-soaked Sponge with Elderflower Jelly for dessert. Buckingham Palace described the collaboration as being “in the spirit of the Entente Cordial”.

A cocktail named L’entente was also created in honor of the King, a custom that the King had begun. British gin is paired with lemon curd, French pastis, dried French cornflowers, and English roses as garnish.

P Diddy’s sentencing date confirmed and timeline revealed as he waits in jail

Sean “Diddy” Combs’ sentencing date has been revealed as the defense and the prosecution have come to terms with him while he is still in jail after being denied bail.

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ sentencing has been confirmed after his legal team and prosecutors reached a new agreement. The disgraced rapper has been denied bail following the end of his two-month long trial.

Last week, he was found not guilty of racketeering and of sex trafficking former girlfriend Cassie Ventura and another woman referred to as ‘Jane.’ He dropped to the floor as the verdict, decided by eight men and four women, acquitted him of the most serious counts. Combs was found guilty of transportation to engage in prostitution, relating to Ventura and Jane. The court heard how he flew people around the country, including his girlfriends and paid male sex workers, to engage in sexual encounters, a felony violation of the federal Mann Act.

However, he was cleared of the charges of racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking, alleging that he had coerced his former girlfriends into “freak offs” of drug-fueled sex encounters.

His sentencing is scheduled to occur in October, according to reports last week. However, the two parties reached a consensus today.

Combs’ sentencing was scheduled for September 22 according to the agreed timeline in a letter filed prior to the hearing. That was 11 days earlier than October 3’s original date.

However, new court filings reveal that the prosecution and the defense have both now decided to adhere to the original schedule. Post-verdict motions that follow have been suggested as a schedule.

The Probation Office requested the pre-sentence report by August 29 from both parties. By September 5 and by September 12 will the prosecution and the competitors’ attorneys submit objections.

According to a letter from Combs’ attorney Marc Agnifilo, “The Government and the Probation Office do not object to this schedule.” By July 30th, the defense is expected to file post-verdict motions.

Last week, Combs was denied bail by Judge Arun Subramanian. The judge denied bail just a minute after re-entering the court. He said he “sees no reason to reach the opposite conclusion now”.

Following days of deliberation, Combs requested that the courtroom offer him a prayer for his family, which was applauded in the courtroom.

He appeared to pray after avoiding the most severe sentence, which would be life in prison for the highest charge, when the news was made public.

His family cheered and clapped as he was progressing throughout the case. Combs’ defense attorneys exchanged handshakes before stopping to congratulate Brian Steel, the attorney representing him. On day three of deliberations, there was a mixed outcome.

Combs had pleaded not guilty to all charges brought against him throughout the trial. He told his family, “I love you, baby,” and he said, “I’ll be home soon.”

He continued, “I love you, mom.” Since his September arrest, Combs has been in jail. His attorneys argued that his release warranted bail because the verdict on the most serious counts had a significant impact on the legal landscape.

Sacked Gregg Wallace’s ‘heart attack’ scare before ‘groping’ allegations released

MasterChef’s Gregg Wallace was reportedly rushed to hospital for a suspected heart attack, just days before the TV presenter faced fresh misconduct accusations from 50 people

A close friend of Gregg Wallace has said that he’s ‘in a bad way’ after being accused of misconduct by 50 more people(Image: BBC)

Shamed MasterChef host Gregg Wallace has been sacked after 50 more people complained about him – but he has vowed to fight back. The 60-year-old accused BBC News of “peddling gossip” after it claimed to have received dozens of new complaints about him, ranging from sexual comments to groping. Wallace accepts his humour was “inappropriate” on the show. And a source close to him admits a social media video in which he lashed out at “middle-class women of a certain age” was a sackable offence.

But he still believes himself to be a victim and called the new claims “baseless and sensationalised”. He insisted: “I will not go quietly. I will not be cancelled for convenience.”

It comes just days after the TV presenter was reportedly rushed to hospital with a suspected heart attack. The 60-year-old was treated at a hospital in Ashford, Kent, after two days of agonising chest pain. A friend told The Sun: “The stress of this betrayal brought on my suspected heart attack. It’s been hell.” It is reported that two days after leaving hospital, Wallace was told that his contract would be terminated.

MasterChef production company Banijay is expected to release the findings of a six-month review into his behaviour tomorrow or on Friday. The review, by law firm Lewis Silkin, was ordered after allegations of inappropriate sexual behaviour on the set of the BBC cooking show were made against Wallace last year. His lawyers said then: “It is entirely false that he engages in behaviour of a sexually harassing nature.”

A Banijay insider said many of the BBC’s latest allegations are likely to have already been examined during the review. One source who has read the 200-page report said Wallace’s worst mistake was his December 2024 video about the initial allegations, in which he said: “The complaints [are] from a handful of middle-class women of a certain age.” The source added that alone was a “dismissible offence”.

Yesterday, the presenter posted a five-page statement on social media. Wallace said: “I recognise my humour and language, at times, was inappropriate. For that, I apologise.

“I have now been cleared by the Silkin report of the most serious and sensational accusations. The most damaging claims, including allegations from public figures which have not been upheld, were found to be baseless after a full and forensic six-month investigation.”

The presenter said he had taken the decision to speak out ahead of the publication of the Silkin report because: “I cannot sit in silence while my reputation is further damaged.”

Wallace claimed the new BBC News allegations included “legally unsafe accusations” which had been “found not credible by Silkin”.

He said allowing the stories to run ahead of the report was an attempt to derail the process. And in response to claims that the BBC had “fired” him, a spokesman said that this was impossible, because it was not his employer. Wallace, whose young son Sid has autism, argued that he should have been better looked after.

He added: “I was hired by the BBC and MasterChef as the cheeky greengrocer. A real person with warmth, character, rough edges and all. For over two decades, that authenticity was part of the brand.

“Now, in a sanitised world, that same personality is seen as a problem. My neurodiversity, now formally diagnosed as autism, was suspected and discussed by colleagues across countless seasons of MasterChef.

“Yet nothing was done to investigate my disability or protect me from what I now realise was a dangerous environment for over 20 years. That failure is now being quietly buried.”

He added: “I was tried by media and hung out to dry before the facts were established. The full story of this incredible injustice must be told.”

A source close to Wallace insisted he had been made the fall guy. They added: “This is about protecting a format, one of the most valuable formats that Banijay and the BBC has. And what they should be doing is having a clean start and not just chucking one bloke under the bus. Gregg has employed a lawyer and he’s going for blood. The report talks about him being odd – the guy has got autism and it was never addressed. It’s been a trial by social media and a big pile-on.

“All these things, when they’re looked at by a lawyer, are not true. Bullying Penny Lancaster? Not true. Vanessa Feltz? No evidence. It’s about him having a terrible sense of humour and telling rude jokes.”

The pal said that dad-of-three Wallace was “in a bad way”, warning: “This guy is fragile. When everything has been taken away like this, it’s quite overwhelming.”

One MasterChef insider said that no conversation over Wallace’s future employment had yet taken place. The latest allegations include two women who said Wallace exposed himself to them, a student who says he put his hand up her skirt in 2013 and another woman who claims he groped her the previous year.

It is not clear how many of the 50 allegations have been examined by the review lawyers, who looked only at allegations relating to MasterChef. The BBC said: “We are not going to comment until the investigation is complete and the findings published.”

Love Island star slammed over ‘dangerous’ advice as video divides opinion

Former Love Island star Frankie Davey, who appeared in Casa Amor two years ago, divided opinion after sharing some controversial advice with fans on TikTok recently

Former Love Island star Frankie Davey has divided opinion after sharing controversial advice that has been branded “dangerous” by some amid a holiday abroad. He shared his recommendations for how to avoid getting burnt whilst out in the sun.

Frankie, 24, who appeared in Casa Amor on the ITV2 show back in 2023, has been posting updates on TikTok from a trip to Rhodes recently. It included him sharing his thoughts on suncream, which he said he hasn’t used in years. The professional boxer spoke about tanning in a video uploaded to the platform just days ago, with the post captioned: “The sun is the key to life, don’t be afraid of it.” Over the video itself, Frankie wrote: “How to Tan & NOT Burn.”

He said in the video: “So I’m in 40 degree heat and I don’t wear suncream – how don’t I burn? Firstly, I haven’t worn suncream now for a good three or four years. I’m quite against it. I think it’s full of chemicals and toxins that your body…well, isn’t good for your body, basically.”

Frankie added: “But how don’t I burn? Firstly, I do wear a natural SPF and that’s coconut oil. Yesterday, I was in the sun for five, six hours, peak sun. UV 11. I still didn’t burn.”

He continued by saying that he went out to Greece with a “base layer of tan” from the UK before claiming that wearing sunglasses outside means that your body won’t “produce a chemical to protect your skin”. He also urged viewers to listen to their bodies and seek shade or cover up when their skin feels hot.

Frankie said: “Another thing is if you’re eating a lot of inflammatory foods that inflames your body and then when the sun beaming on your skin also cause you to burn.” He then concluded by summarising his advice.

He said: “That’s pretty much it. Build it up. Slow and steady exposure. Morning and night. Then you can start building it up to peak sun times. Use a natural SPF. Get some shade when you feel like you’re burning. Eat fairly clean, when you can. Don’t wear the sunglasses when you’re trying to tan.”

The post has amassed more than 16,000 likes but divided opinion in the comments section. Some people questioned his advice, with one person reacting: “This is dangerous information.” Another said: “Please update me in 20-30 years.”

A third viewer responded: “Social media boxer vs medical professionals – I think I know whose advice I’ll follow.” Another wrote: “Well… that’s enough tik tok for one day.” One person said: “Coconut oil will help you tan and burn.”

Others expressed concern over the prospect of developing skin cancer. One person wrote in the comments section of the post: “You don’t have to burn to get skin cancer. Any tanning is skin damage that can cause cell changes.”

“Didn’t wear sunscreen either, now battling skin cancer… melanoma to be precise worrying if I’m still going to be here for my daughters…. Don’t be ignorant, life has a funny way of teaching you lessons from old mistakes,” someone said.

Although Frankie’s opinion proved controversial to some, not everyone felt the same. Agreeing with him, one person said: “I am the same. I stopped wearing sun protection couple of years ago. I don’t burn and get a beautiful tan.”

Someone said: “Havent worn sunscreen for decades. In my 40s now with better skin than most 30 year olds.” Another viewer commented: “I’ve never used it.” One person reacted: “Finally someone with some sense about sun cream.”

The NHS states that sunburn increases your risk of skin cancer. It recommends using sunscreen that has an SPF of at least 30 to protect against UVB and at least 4-star UVA protection as part of its sun safety advice. It adds: “Do not rely on sunscreen alone to protect yourself from the sun. Wear suitable clothing and spend time in the shade when the sun’s at its hottest.”
