Whilst a third wrote: “I love these trainers they are so comfortable and true to size perfect for summer and to wear with dresses or jeans.”

Some found some issues, with one adding: “I thought these were the same as my last pair but sadly they have changed the shape and I’m disappointed. They have creased quickly in a few places and are just not the same.”

Another agreed: “The trainers were lovely looking but unfortunately no good if you wide feet. Also they run small so go up half a size. I had to return these and get Adidas Hoops as they are wider.”

However others disagreed about the fit issues, with one happy customer writing: “Adidas trainers true to size very comfy.”

Brooklyn Beckham severs ties with brothers Cruz and Romeo in brutal move

Brooklyn Beckham appears to have drawn battle lines by unfollowing his younger brothers Cruz and Romeo.

It comes despite Victoria and David’s eldest son appearing to offer an olive brand amid the family feud earlier this week with a sweet tribute to sister Harper on her birthday.

The 26-year-old hot sauce entrepreneur still follows his famous mum and dad, so it is unclear if a war of words between himself and his brothers may have been happening behind the scenes.

Brooklyn’s relationship with his brother Romeo in particular has appeared to deteriorate over the last few months following claims his younger brother’s ex-girlfriend Kim Turnbull was the source of their falling out.

In June, model Kim broke her silence on accusations that she had previously dated Brooklyn before sparking up a romance with Romeo. In a defiant statement on her Instagram account, she declared she would “not continue to receive harassment or be embarrassed on the basis of lies, to fit a certain narrative”. She clarified: “I have never been romantically involved in ANY capacity at ANY point with the person in question. Nothing between us has occurred further than a school friendship at age 16.”

However, his soured relationship with Cruz had previously baffled Victoria and David, as they had previously never had a bad word said between them. Yet following Brooklyn’s snubbing towards his youngest brother when visiting London weeks after David’s birthday, Cruz has been very much on his parents’ side.

On Thursday, Brooklyn paid tribute to sister Harper with a photo of himself and wife Nicola Peltz alongside his sister on his Instagram Stories. Brooklyn wrote on the upload: “Happy birthday harper we love u x,” and tagged his wife. The actress, 30, reshared the post on her own Story.

Brooklyn was 12 when his youngest sibling was born. The pair have been very close over the years, but there was said to be tension from those close to the family who were worried he wouldn’t reach out at all amid a family feud.

Sources shared their fears after both Brooklyn and Nicola failed to see Harper when they visited London in May to film an advert. The location for the shoot was just over a mile from the family home.

The worry came after Brooklyn had snubbed a number of other family milestones of late. After failing to attend any of dad David’s 50th celebrations, he also publicly blanked the former footballer’s proud moment as it was announced he was being knighted.

Brooklyn’s brothers Romeo and Cruz also wished their sister a happy birthday on the social media platform alongside David and Victoria.

The eldest Beckham son did wish David’s mum Sandra a happy birthday two weeks ago, despite ignoring both of his parents’ big days. Yet he didn’t do the same for Victoria’s dad Tony back in May.

Earlier this month, Nicola Peltz, 30, hit back at claims she is “controlling” husband Brooklyn after sharing photos from a party with friends. Fans had taken to the comments section to share well wishes over the occasion, but some people instead criticised Nicola and Brooklyn. It’s included the suggestion that Nicola is to blame for the rumoured rift between her husband and his parents.

Several fans however came to Nicola’s defence underneath the post, which included photos of Brooklyn beside Nelson. One comment, in which it was suggested that Brooklyn can make his own decisions, was liked by Nicola.

“In my opinion she was one of Wales most underrated singers. She had a tremendous career, it was very hard for her growing up,” he told the BBC.

Meanwhile, the St David’s Society of the State of New York said Iris had “joined the heavenly chorus where her joyful singing will surely bring those joys beyond measure which we have been honoured to share.”

“New York held a special place in her life and it was here that she gave birth to her only child Blake,” they added.

Meanwhile, opera singer Beverley Humphreys also paid tribute to the star as she said: “Iris had her own unique jazz style – vivacious and elegant – with a twinkle in her eye, she had a way of inhabiting each song she sang.

“Iris was a story teller whose voice could set your feet tapping or touch your heart.”

Iris’ hits included He Was Beautiful, Pererin Wyf, a Welsh-language version of Amazing Grace.

She appeared on the Welsh BBC pop show, Disc A Dawn and later featured in her own BBC TV show.

Iris went on to win Cân i Gymru, a Welsh-language talent competition, as she performed the song I gael Cymru’n Gymru Rydd, which translates to For a Free Wales.

She also performed at a concert to celebrate the opening of the National Assembly of Wales in 1999.

Iris released a string of songs including He Was Beautiful, Haul Yr Haf (which translates to Summer Sun), No Walls No Ceilings No Floors and All My Trials.

During her final years, she worked in some of the most prestigious cabaret venues in America, singing Welsh songs, her brother said.

Speaking about when she would return to her home country, he said: “When she came back to Wales she used to come to the house a lot. I always used to say ‘where do you want to go?’ and she’d always say Tonyrefail.

“She loved the valleys, she had so much support from people in the valleys.”

Extraordinary comment Christian Horner’s mum made about his wedding to Geri Halliwell

It was confirmed this week that Christian Horner would be leaving his job at F1 after working there for more than two decades

The extraordinary comment that Christian Horner’s mum made about his wedding to Geri Halliwell has been revealed.

Geri first met her now-husband back in 2009 when she was introduced by F1 tycoon Bernie Eccleston. However, it wasn’t meant to be at the time as Christian was married to his first wife Beverley Allen and they were hoping have their first child together. But just five years later, Christian and Geri got together just six months after Beverley had their little girl.

Despite Geri and Christian now being together, it wasn’t smooth sailing to get to where they are. Christian’s parents Garry and Sara were reported to be appalled that their son had left Beverley just six months after she had given birth to their longed-for daughter Olivia in October 2013.

(Image: Getty Images)

Christian’s parents made their opinion clear when they refused to go to the couple’s wedding in May 2015 at Woburn Abbey. The MailOnline reported that a journalist approached Beverley at her Cotswolds home just months after the split to ask if she wanted to comment on Geri being with her man.

Beverley politely declined to comment but as the journalist left, he was followed by a woman who called him back to tell him that she and her husband were outraged by how Christian had behaved.

She said she would not be attending the wedding, and that woman was Christian’s mum Sara. She stuck to her word and they continued to support Beverley until she died at the age of 58 following a two-year battle with eye cancer.

This comes as it was revealed this week that Christian had left his F1 job after 20 years. F1 are yet to explain the reason why he had left.

Christian took to his Instagram to break his silence and release a statement on the matter. He wrote: “After an incredible journey of twenty years together, it is with a heavy heart that today I say goodbye to the Team I have absolutely loved.

“Every one of you, the amazing people at the factory, have been the heart and soul of everything that we have achieved. Win and lose, every step of the way, we have stood by each other as one and I will never forget that. It’s been a privilege being part of and leading this epic Team and I am so proud of our collective accomplishments and you all.

“Thanks to the amazing partners and fans who enabled us to go racing. Your support has helped grow the team from its humble beginnings to an F1 powerhouse that laid claim to 6 Constructors Championships and 8 Drivers Championships.”

He then went on to thank “our rivals” saying “there would be no racing at all” without them. He added: “Formula 1 is a sport built on relentless ambition, passion, and respect. The rivalries have been fierce, but the mutual drive to innovate and raise the bar is what has made this journey so special.”

Christian signed off the statement by saying: “It’s been an honour to be part of this incredible era of motorsport. I leave with immense pride in what we’ve achieved and also with what’s in the pipeline for 2026 — and huge respect for everyone who’s made F1 the pinnacle it is today. Thank You. Christian.”

Geri has not commented on her husband stepping down from his role either. This is despite her not being able to attend fellow Spice Girls Mel B’s wedding last weekend due to supporting her husband.

Beauty buffs who have managed to rejuvenate thin, sparse and limp locks are crediting an ‘excellent’ high-street range from Philip Kingsley. The Density Range, hailed as ‘magic’, includes a variety of products aimed at addressing hair thickness and shedding.

The collection features the Density Preserving Scalp Foam, currently reduced to £19.60 from its original price of £28 as part of Amazon’s Prime Day sale, which runs until midnight on Friday, July 11.

This dual-purpose styling aid and scalp treatment offers a lightweight, dual-action formula that immediately adds volume and texture at the roots, whilst fostering an optimal scalp environment to boost hair quality, strength and shine over time.

According to the brand, 90% of trial participants experienced lifted roots after using the foam, while 84% agreed that it ‘worked better than any other root-boosting products they have used’. The foam’s effectiveness is credited to the stimulating action of organic pea sprout extract, which aids in slowing hair loss and enhancing strand integrity.

For optimum results, Philip Kingsley recommends using the Density Preserving Scalp Foam alongside other products in the range. The Thickening Shampoo, now priced at £42, and the Thickening Conditioner, now £45.75 down from £60, are designed to enhance the health, condition and quality of fine, fragile and shedding hair.

The Density Stimulating Scalp Mask, slashed to a tempting £18.75 from £25, promises an invigorated and energised scalp as it works to balance and regulate excess oil, reports the Manchester Evening News.

Not only does it leave roots feeling weightless and bouncier, but the fragrance-free concoction also comforts and feeds the scalp for a picture of health and equilibrium. Moreover, the treatment lays the groundwork for further topical solutions.

The Philip Kingsley Density Stimulating Scalp Mask has received praise from purchasers, with a hearty 4.2 out of five-star rating from 35 reviews. A chuffed customer remarked, “This scalp mask is great as a weekly treat for my hair and scalp. It makes my hair feel nourished and thickened. It feels nice to use, and you don’t need much, so this tube should last a while.”

Another enthused: “This feels amazing on the scalp. It’s easy to apply and distribute. My scalp feels slightly tingly and it’s very relaxing. My hair looks more voluminous after using this which I find really interesting. Love this, will definitely be buying more.”

One customer, however, gave the mask a reserved review as it is ‘too early to tell’ results. The review reads: “It’s still early days but so far I haven’t noticed any difference after regular use of this product. It applies like a hair mask which you massage into the scalp, then leave to sit for 10 to 20 minutes before finally shampooing the hair as normal. The product is comfortable to use but I’m unsure of its effectiveness as of yet.”

Phillip Kingsley’s Density Range isn’t the only product worth bagging in the Amazon Prime Day sale.

Gregg Wallace called BBC MasterChef winner a ‘sexy b***h’ in string of tweets

The former MasterChef presenter has a history of calling women sexy on social media in posts that are still up, including several contestants from the BBC cooking show

Gregg Wallace has been accused of misconduct claims that he denies(Image: BBC/Glenn Dearing)

Gregg Wallace has come under renewed fire after it emerged he described a former MasterChef champion and a BBC presenter as a “sexy b***h” on social media in comments which still remain online.

The disgraced former MasterChef judge, 60, was officially let go from the BBC following a nine-month investigation into alleged inappropriate behaviour, which uncovered a pattern of sexualised comments and conduct across multiple platforms and in person.

Wallace referred to women as “sexy” more than 135 times on X, with public posts aimed at colleagues, contestants, and celebrities he worked with.

Among the most striking were remarks directed at 2012 MasterChef winner Shelina Permalloo, who he called a “sexy b***h” and “sexy girl”. In one tweet, Wallace wrote: “hello mate, how you doing ? Sexy b***h !”

Former BBC Breakfast presenter Penny Haslam, who worked with Wallace through their mutual involvement with WeightWatchers, was also on the receiving end of the same phrase.

The comments come to light just days after it was confirmed that production company Banjay, who makes the BBC’s MasterChef, had terminated Wallace’s long-running involvement in the cooking competition.

Despite Wallace’s insistence that he was cleared of “the most serious and sensational accusations”, the broadcaster concluded that his behaviour amounted to “learned behaviour” that he was unlikely to change.

Among the long list of individuals he’s labelled “sexy” online are MasterChef finalist Angela Langford, judge Monica Galetti, designer Kelly Hoppen, and presenters like Alison Hammond. Even Bake Off’s Paul Hollywood and former Page 3 model Linda Lusardi were subject to flirty comments from Wallace, who described Lusardi as a “sexy girl”.

His long-time MasterChef co-star John Torode was repeatedly called “sexy” in Wallace’s posts, and Torode’s wife, actress Lisa Faulkner, was referred to as “hot point” and “pretty”.

Wallace has previously insisted that his remarks were not harassment. But former Celebrity MasterChef contestant and journalist Aasmah Mir had a very different perspective.

Last year she reflected on an uncomfortable incident that took place while filming the cooking show, saying: “In 2017, I took part in Celebrity MasterChef. I put my first dish down in front of the judges and the cameras paused to reset. In front of everyone, Gregg Wallace told me to tell a colleague at the BBC ‘that she was a sexy b***h.’ No-one said anything. And yes, I did complain.”

Wallace responded to the controversy surrounding him with a statement on social media, saying: “After 21 years of loyal service to the BBC, I cannot sit in silence while my reputation is further damaged to protect others. I have now been cleared by the Silkins report of the most serious and sensational accusations made against me. I recognise that some of my humour and language, at times, was inappropriate. For that, I apologise without reservation.”

The TV personality also revealed he suffered a health scare during the fallout and had to be rushed to a hospital in Ashford, Kent, with chest pains that doctors feared could be a heart attack.

Despite his apology and claims of partial exoneration, the BBC’s internal report reportedly concluded: “It is clear that you struggle to distinguish the boundaries between appropriate and inappropriate behaviour in the workplace, as well as lacking an awareness of why your behaviour impacts others.”
