Oasis set up emergency room for fans after sharing huge warning ahead of Heaton Park gigs

Oasis fans have been sent urgent warnings from Heaton Park bosses to stay safe in the hot weather and the site have put in dark measures as they prepare for issues

Scenes coming out of Heaton Park don’t bode will for the thousands of fans flocking to Manchester to see Oasis reunite on home turf. Warnings have already been issued by show bosses as 80,000 plus music fans descend on Liam and Noel Gallagher’s hometown for sold-out performances this weekend.

However, this weekend’s forecast has bucked the usual unpredictable weather during outdoor events, with hot weather sweeping the UK. Manchester is set to see temperatures reach nearly 30 degrees over the weekend as the mini-heatwave continues.

Bosses have relaxed their usual rules and have encouraged fans to take water, suncream and hats into the venue. Although taking food and drink into Heaton Park is strictly prohibited, those attending can, instead, take a collapsible 500ml water bottle.

Once inside the park, there will be dedicated water refill points, as well as the bar, which will be stocked with both alcoholic and soft drinks. Fans are also encouraged to wear sun protection and, if possible, a hat to reduce the risks of sunburn and sunstroke.

There will also be medical assistance from the three welfare tents, two situated to the left of the stage and one to the right, close to the merchandise stand and bar. However, dark scenes from inside the tents have shown the preparations in place to support those due to the heat.

BBC Radio 2 host and longtime Oasis fan Vernon Kay shared a glimpse inside a tent as rows and rows of medical beds could be seen. “Here we go, Heaton Park getting ready for those people who refuse to hydrate themselves,” Vernon said as he panned around the room.

He urged: “Come on, gets some electrolytes in your body. We don’t want to see you on any of these mats. These are not for yoga, these are not yoga mats. This is not a sun lounger. These are where people will recover.”

Vernon added: “I know you are going to want to have a drink or two but just go steady people. We want to have a good time, we don’t want to see a queue for the beds of doom.”

Heaton Park bosses also put out their own warning, as fans have been entering the site since 3pm. They said: “With a very hot weather forecast on both Friday and Saturday please stay hydrated, you will be permitted to bring a sealed bottle of water up to 500ml. This must be collapsible plastic.

“Wear sunscreen, you will be permitted to bring in a small bottle 200ml or under and protect yourself from the sun overall/wear a hat; we know the legendary bucket hat will be making an appearance, so you’ll fit right in! Look after yourself and those around you.”

On Saturday, the lowest temperature is set to come at 4am – 18C. However, it’s also thought to peak between 4pm and 7pm, with temperature predicted to be between 27-32C. And with the staggering temperatures, it’s said the highest UV warning will be at 1pm, which is a level 7.

On Monday The Mirror is releasing a new unofficial Oasis magazine packed with exclusive interviews, photos and reviews from the archives and right up to and including the historic first shows in Cardiff. You can order here.

Clarkson’s Farm star Harriet Cowan moved to tears by fan’s ‘unbelievable’ message

Clarkar’s Farm star Harriet Cowan has been on a mission to promote farming to young people, which has been helped by her role on the Amazon Prime series

Fans of Clarkson’s Farm are already feeling the loss of the fourth series and eagerly anticipating the next one. The latest season, which debuted on Amazon Prime a few weeks ago, saw Jeremy Clarkson bring in farmhand Harriet Cowan as long-standing star Kaleb Cooper embarked on a solo tour across the country.

Far from merely filling in for Cooper, Harriet has emerged as one of the show’s biggest breakout stars, with viewers clamouring for her return in the next series. And it’s not just on screen that she’s adored – people have been expressing their admiration for the household name when they spot her out and about.

In her short but significant time on screen, she seemingly rescued Diddly Squat Farm from Jeremy’s antics, tackling everything from pig births and fence-making to even purchasing some new cows.

Since the show aired, Harriet has been flooded with support and praise on social media as she advocates for young farmers, leading to some very heartwarming encounters while out and about.

Speaking to the BBC, she discussed her life farming: “I think when you talk to somebody and ask what they stereotypically think of when someone says farmer they say ’60-year-old man with a checked shirt and a beer belly’, and a lot of the time that is it, but us women are out here and farmers too.”

“Just because I’m a small blonde who likes to curl her hair and wear make-up, it doesn’t mean I can’t be a farmer,” she added.

Harriet is on a mission to challenge the traditional norms of farming, saying: “I’m trying to change the norm of the man being the farmer and the woman being the stay-at-home wife and cook.”

She pointed out that women have always played a crucial role in farming, especially during times of war, and now she’s working to break down those stereotypes.

Her appearance on the show has already had a profound impact, as evidenced by a heartwarming encounter with a young girl. Harriet shared a clip of the interaction on TikTok, saying: “You look happier. Thanks a little girl just came up to me and said ‘I want to be just like you when I grow up'”.

In the caption, she added: “This gets me every time, can’t believe it honestly.”

Harriet’s TikTok following has skyrocketed since her appearance on the show, growing from a few thousand to nearly 750,000 followers and racking up over three million likes.

Her fans have been quick to show their support, with one commenter saying: “THIS IS WHAT GIRLS NEED – inspired by a variety of fun, clean living, capable, caring, creative, organised, funny young women.”

Another farmer chimed in, saying: “About as good a compliment as possible. Our industry is nothing without young eager people. Well done.”

With the Oasis tour underway, the Gallagher brothers are expected to make bank — but one of them is doing something incredible with his earnings from their highly-anticipated gigs

The Oasis reunion tour is currently in full swing, with siblings Noel and Liam Gallagher continuing their musical comeback after a 16-year hiatus. Following their successful Cardiff performance last weekend, the brothers are set to delight fans at Heaton Park in Manchester this weekend before moving on to London, Edinburgh and Dublin.

Their highly-anticipated shows in the UK will then be followed by live performances across the world, including in North and South America, Asia and Australia. While Noel and Liam are expected to earn big from their Oasis Live 25 tour, a source has revealed that Noel will be putting a chunk of his earnings toward a greater cause, reports Birmingham Live.

The Mancunian musician will be making a generous donation — to the tune of thousands of pounds — to the Teenage Cancer Trust, an organisation extremely close to his heart. According to the charity’s website, it supports “specialised nurses, youth workers and hospital units in the NHS, so young people have dedicated staff and facilities to support them throughout treatment”.

The source revealed: “It’s no secret that Noel and Liam are both making millions from the reunion tour. But Noel is actually giving some of his cash away.

“He’s made it clear a large donation will be heading to Teenage Cancer Trust from his share of the proceeds.”

As for attendees of tonight’s Heaton Park concert, fans may be in for a scorcher, with sweltering hot weather expected this evening.

Forecasts from the Met Office warn of ‘high temperatures’ in many areas this Friday, as the heatwave continues to make its way across the UK.

They warned: “By Friday, the heat becomes more extensive. Temperature anomalies show a significant rise above average across much of the UK, with particularly intense heat in parts of Yorkshire, Lincolnshire, the West Midlands, and the southwest.

“Even parts of Scotland and Northern Ireland will see temperatures well above average. There may be some low cloud to start the day, especially around the Irish Sea and eastern coastal areas, but this should burn back quickly.

“By the afternoon, most places will see clear skies and strong sunshine, with highs reaching 31-32°C in some central and southern areas.”

In other news, the Gallagher brothers have enlisted security to safeguard their mother’s residence as Oasis enthusiasts descend on Manchester. With the siblings poised for a homecoming this weekend, they’re ramping up precautions to ensure the wellbeing of their family.

As devotees swarm to Manchester in anticipation of their Heaton Park performances, they’ve inevitably been making a detour to the band’s formative home, where Noel and Liam’s mum Peggy still resides.

Enthusiasts have been sighted on the street and snapping pictures outside the residence in their quest to experience a slice of Oasis heritage. However, to shield their mum Peggy, Noel and Liam have engaged security personnel to monitor her and her abode.

Liam Gallagher tour fashion as he thrills underground design house with ‘wonderful surprise’

Liam Gallagher’s style has been copied for years – from parkas, anoraks, tracksuit tops to the iconic bucket hat. And the Oasis frontman has been pulling out all the stops for the Live 25 tour

Liam Gallagher is known for his incredible style almost as much as his music – with fans on the Live 25 reunion tour choosing to copy some of his iconic looks.

For the first night in Cardiff, the Oasis frontman made sure he was looking sensational on stage and to the surprise of an underground Italian fashion brand – picked one of their designs especially for the comeback.

The brand, Ten c., had no idea the singer was going to wear one of their pieces for the historic moment at the Principality Stadium, calling the discovery a ‘wonderful moment’.

They also revealed that no payments were exchanged by Liam to wear the garment, as they outed him as a true fan of fashion.

Enzo Fusco, president of FGF (the Italian group of Ten c), told the Mirror: “It was a really wonderful surprise. I’m getting on in years and my life has always been punctuated by more or less extraordinary events, but I must say that this one made me happy. The fact that we didn’t sponsor or pay for this endorsement made me realise that true style is priceless.

“A world-famous singer freely chooses – something that is by no means a given today – a Ten c garment from among a thousand outerwear items – in this specific case, our historic Anorak model – during his first reunion concert after 16 years of waiting by fans and under the spotlight of the whole world, what can I say? It makes me incredibly proud of the work that is carried out here every day, with hard work and commitment. It means we are on the right track.

“Ten C is a niche brand, not mainstream, which has built itself up and is slowly making a name for itself over the years thanks to its passion for style and love of detail. Not everyone understands it, but those who fall in love with it never abandon it.

“We have a small, very loyal and engaged community. I believe that this is what we have in common with Oasis: a love for our “work”, a passion for our community and the desire to stand out from the crowd as a premium brand.”

The jacket was an archive piece that belongs to the limited edition launched in April 2024 by Ten c in collaboration with Awake NY, the result of the collaboration between creatives Alessandro Pungetti and Angelo Baque.

The jacket features a print reproducing a map of the rocky substrate of Manhattan’s neighbourhoods, an original and truly unique camouflage print. The outerwear, which alternates military green and acid green, is customised with both logos. The classic OJJ label, sewn on the inside, bears both the Ten c and Awake NY logos.

Bruno Tonioli ‘set to quit’ Britain’s Got Talent as possible replacements revealed

Bruno Tonioli is reportedly set to quit Britain’s Got Talent after just two series as the ITV show’s judge. The ex Strictly Come Dancing star is likely to be replaced by either rapper KSI comedian Alan Carr.

The Italian TV personality may find it impossible to film the next series of the show with his commitment to filming Dancing with the Stars in America – with both reportedly taking place this autumn.

A source told The Sun: “The filming schedule in 2024 meant that Bruno could get away with not being present for filming one week of auditions.

“But it would be virtually impossible for him to miss two weeks, because in the final edit, that equates to half the episodes in the new three-month run of BGT, which will air from February of 2026.”

They added that there is “absolutely no ill feeling about the situation” and that it is purely down to difficult schedules.

“The only hope is if his long-time friend and fellow panellist Simon Cowell steps in to make it clear that he has to be a part of the show, no matter how difficult it proves to be.”

The Mirror has reached out to Britain’s Got Talent and Bruno Tonioli’s representatives for comment.

Rapper and internet personality KSI is currently tipped to replace Bruno – having filled in for the ex Strictly star on a number of occasions in the last series.

He proved to be a massive hit with viewers when he joined the panel for BGT’s Blackpool auditions and went on to appear at the live semi-finals.

Meanwhile, comedian Alan Carr is also reportedly in the running, having previously revealed that he was originally in talks to take over from David Walliams.

Back in 2023, the long-standing friend of Amanda Holden revealed that the show had told him that he would be joining BGT before later confirming that Bruno had landed the role.

“I don’t really know what went on. It was that awful thing of people saying I was devastated. I was on the set of my sitcom, which I wrote and I’m producing, so I was not devastated about not being on BGT,” he said.

He added that he later saw Simon Cowell at a party held by Amanda Holden and joked about missing out on the judging role, to which Simon replied: “That’s showbizness.”

Oasis will again be supported at Heaton Park by Richard Ashcroft and Liverpool band Cast. Cast frontman John Power said: “I think the opening night in Manchester, the homecoming show, I think it’s going to be crazy. I really just think it’s a bit like another opening night again.

“It’s like a Northern Soul, rock and roll vibe, you know, ourselves, Richard Ashcroft, and then obviously Oasis, the biggest band since the Beatles.”

Other guests at the Oasis Heaton Park shows this weekend are expected to include footballers from Manchester City and United. Noel Gallagher is staying at a hotel which is co-owned by Gary Neville.

This is the first time that Noel and Liam will be performing in their beloved Manchester for the first time since 2009. But there’s a huge change, there is a massive front standing section which appears to occupy roughly 10% of the entire venue, with those holding front standing or ‘front pit standing’ tickets, as it’s alternatively termed in the update, granted their own dedicated entrance via Sheepfoot Lane.

General admission ticket holders must enter through Bury Old Road. The new details also stress that no food or beverages may be brought onto the premises, and chairs are forbidden.

One recommendation for watching Noel and Liam perform is to “bring a foldable blanket to sit on” though it must fit within your bag.
