Jack Tweed, the widower of Jade Goody, has said that he recalls their wedding “like it was yesterday.”
Jack, now 37, married Big Brother winner Jade in February 2009. A month later, Jade, who was 27, passed away after having been diagnosed with cervical cancer, which then spread to her liver, bowel and groin, the previous year.
Over the years since then, Jack has paid tribute to Jade, whom he’s described as his “angel”, and he reflected on their nuptials on the weekend. He is said to have posted a message on social media claiming to commemorate their wedding anniversary on June 16.
He posted on his Instagram Story, writing on the platform: “16 years ago this day was remember it like yesterday”. A heart emoji and another wing-related emoji were included in the post. Jack’s mother Mary Tweed commented on his recent post, saying that he ‘ never missed a year ‘ of marking the occasion.
Jack has previously mentioned that he felt “felt guilty” about the possibility of a second relationship following Jade’s passing. He said last year that he “never thought” that he would find love again and that he is now in a new relationship.

He told the Mirror in March of last year that he felt like he had found love with Ellie Sargeant, who he had already been seeing for more than two years. I’ve taken my time – I couldn’t rush”. He also hinted at the prospect of having children, as well as marriage. Jack said at the time: “Children would be amazing, it’s something me and Ellie are thinking about”.
He went on to discuss having been a stepparent to Jade’s song Bobby Brazier, now 21, and Freddy Brazier, 20, whom she shared with her ex-partner Jeff Brazier, now 45. Jack said: “It’s been a privilege to be a stepdad to Bobby and Freddie. They are a natural at it, which makes them so proud to be in the spotlight. They evoke a lot of Jade in me.
Over the weekend, Jack celebrated his wedding anniversary to Jade on Instagram.
Months later, Jack and his partner Ellie announced their pregnancy. He is expected to turn 18 in July of this year, according to information. He expressed his excitement to the Sun, saying at the time: “I’ve always wanted kids” He added: “I’ve always felt guilty all my life about it, even talking to other girls and stuff like that. But now I finally I think I’ve accepted it, and I don’t feel that guilt anymore, really, about it”.

Roberta Flack, the Grammy-winning singer behind the classic “Killing Me Softly With His Song” and one of the most recognizable voices of the , 1970s, died Monday at age 88.
Flack’s publicist announced her death without citing a cause.
The influential pop and R&, B star in recent years had lost her ability to sing because of ALS, known as Lou Gehrig’s disease, which she was diagnosed with in 2022.
According to the publicist’s statement, “She passed away peacefully surrounded by her family.”
The classically trained performer with a tender voice created a number of early “scientific soul”-style works of music that lacked the meticulous study and impeccable taste.
Her work was key to the “quiet storm” radio form of smooth, sensuous, slow jams that popularized R&, B and influenced its later aesthetics in the 1980s and 1990s.

US singer Roberta Flack arrives for the 62nd Annual Grammy Awards on January 26, 2020, in Los Angeles. Roberta Flack, the Grammy-winning singer behind the classic “Killing Me Softly With His Song”, died on February 24, 2025
Born Roberta Cleopatra Flack in Black Mountain, North Carolina on February 10, 1937, the artist was raised in Arlington, Virginia, just outside Washington DC.
She began playing the piano when she was just 15 years old, which eventually led to her receiving a music scholarship to Washington’s Howard University. Her large, musical family was a fan of gospel music.
She claimed to a newspaper in 2021 that her father had found an “old, smelly piano in a junkyard,” restored it for me, and painted it green.
“This piano was the source of my expression and inspiration as a young person,” I said.
She frequently played in Washington’s clubs, where jazz musician Les McCann eventually came across her.
Flack signed for Atlantic Records, beginning a 32-year-old recording career.
Clint Eastwood’s romantic ballad “The First Time I Ever Saw Your Face” was featured on the soundtrack to his 1971 film “Play Misty for Me,” and her charisma increased overnight.
She won the 1972 Grammy for Record of the Year, which she then took home for “Killing Me Softly With His Song,” making her the first artist to ever do so twice in a row.
The Fugees’ remixed version of “Killing Me Softly” was released in 1996, giving the band a new wave as it rose to the top of the charts and won another Grammy.
Flack also received a recording academy lifetime achievement award in 2020.
Flack was a figure in the mid-20th century’s social movements, and was friends with both Reverend Jesse Jackson and activist Angela Davis. She sang at the funeral of baseball icon Jackie Robinson, MLB’s first Black player.
She said that when you could grow up, “Black” was the most offensive word you could use.” I went through the civil rights movement. I learned, long after leaving Black Mountain, that being Black was a positive thing, as all of us did, the most positive thing we could be”.

Wynne Evans’ crisis conversations with the BBC have been “delayed” due to his shock expulsion from the Strictly Come Dancing tour. It’s been a difficult few weeks. However, a special person has persisted in his life and has remained steadfast.
Last month, the 53-year-old opera singer issued an apology for using “inappropriate and unacceptable” language during a photocall event, and announced that he had agreed with the BBC to “take some time out” from both his BBC Radio Wales show and the live tour to “prioritise” his “wellbeing”.
Wynne, who gained notoriety as the “GoCompare Man,” has been praised throughout the saga by girlfriend Liz Brookes, 50, who witnessed her cheering him on from the audience throughout his bumpy Strictly ride. Wynne and events manager Liz have been seen out and about in Cardiff since leaving the tour, and they appear content and at ease as they leave from a Sainsbury’s store.
After splitting with Tanwen, the mother of his two children, in 2016, Wynne was heartbroken, and it is understood that Liz has proven to be his rock, surviving indescribably as the Strictly drama drags on.
In Cardiff, the pair were caught running errands.
Wynne and Katya made headlines during the fourth live performance when the couple later attributed an inside joke to her awkward handling of her waist. On his BBC Radio Wales program, Wynne declared, “I’m absolutely heartbroken by the things that have been written about me.” Although Katya and I are essentially close and kind friends, and we made a stupid joke on Saturday night, it’s not nice to live there at the time.
Liz shared a sweet snap of them cuddling on the dancefloor that night, saying she was “so proud of this one tonight” on social media. Following the lewd comment that was made on camera that led to Wynne being pulled from the Strictly Come Dancing tour, there was more controversy.
At a photocall event in Birmingham, during the tour’s launch, the Welsh opera singer, was heard using sexualised language that appeared to make others feel uncomfortable. Janette Manrara, the host of the Strictly tour, was the subject of the comments, which were directed at him while he and other Strictly stars gathered around him.
The interaction began when the tenor sang out: “Go Compare”, adding: “Not too close to Jamie”. Then, in reference to a sexual explicit act, he used the demeaning term “spit roast.”
In a statement, Wynne told the Mirror: “My language was inappropriate and unacceptable, for which I sincerely apologise”. Confirming he’d been dropped from the star-studded tour, Wynne told Strictly fans: “I’ve agreed with the BBC that I’ll take some time out from my radio show and the Strictly Live tour, as well as my other public commitments, to prioritise my wellbeing.
I’m deeply sorry for the suffering my inadvertent behavior has caused, and I’m going to take some time to reflect on my actions. I’m sorry to those who won’t be able to see the remaining performances, and I’m appreciative of my fellow tour members’ continued support.
Following rumors of a brief split (@wynneevans/Instagram), Liz supported her husband as he battled for the Glitterball Trophy.
We were not previously informed of the remark, and we did not receive any complaints, according to a tour and BBC Studios spokesperson. We have made it very clear to Wynne that we will not tolerate such conduct on the tour.
Last month, it was reported that Wynne and Liz had parted ways, with a source claiming that it had been” difficult for Liz “to watch” gropegate “unfold on social media. It’s not known when they split, according to the insider, but friends claim that she was relieved when his most recent lewd behavior was exposed at the Strictly Live Tour launch.
However, it seems like the couple are still together after a difficult relationship, according to a source who told The Sun: “Wynne’s departure from the tour and his radio show was a really tough time, and it put his relationship with Liz in strain.” Liz completely supports Wynne now that they have reconnected, and Liz has no objections.
She and his wife, who lives in Wales, are essentially a couple. Wynne has been in agony these past few weeks, but having Liz by his side has made a huge difference.
Wynne’s fitness-fanatic girlfriend is said to have hugely aided his weight loss, with the star weighing 24 stone at his heaviest. By cutting out alcohol and limiting his intake of bread, burgers, and cheese, he lost seven stone.
Exercise also came into play. “One day I started doing a little bit of running – well, walking, actually, at the start”, he said. “Then I slowly lost weight. So when the call came from Strictly I thought: ‘ This is the right spot'”.
“It was almost like grief, but you can’t grieve for somebody that’s still there”, said Wynne previously of unhappier times. “So, it really affected my mental health, my confidence and my ego – it totally changed me as a person. I would think about everything in my head and have very dark days.
Wynne and Liz first met at a party, but he’s excited about the potential relationship, a source told The Sun. He states, “He is much better now than he was when his marriage ended. It’s like night and day — and he is so happy”.
This comes in response to rumors that Wynne is allegedly having “crisis conversations” with the Beeb, which have reportedly been postponed by a few weeks because the situation has been “weighing heavily on his mind.”
Wynne was scheduled to meet with the BBC last week to discuss the issues he faced and how to proceed if necessary. Wynne was prepared to fight, but he’s been having mental struggles lately.

The 1975 band members cannot be held personally liable for the closure of a Malaysian festival, according to a judge’s ruling. It follows Matty Healy’s onstage kiss of bandmate Ross MacDonald.
The Malaysian government criticised Healy’s conduct and blacklisted the band from the country on the first of what was supposed to be three nights in July 2023. Homosexuality is a crime in Malaysia, punishable by up to 20 years in prison and caning.
The band members allegedly owed a duty of care to The 1975 Productions LLP, according to Future Sound Asia (FSA), the festival’s organizers, in a High Court legal claim. Judge William Hansen stated in a ruling on Monday that there was “no real chance” of concluding that the band members owed the FSA a duty of care.
Judge William Hansen stated in a ruling on Monday that there was “no real chance” of concluding that the band members owed the FSA a duty of care. In situations where (the band members are not alleged to have known of their content, it would not be fair, just, and reasonable to impose a duty of care, as the substance of the duty is said to have been.
Ross and Matty kissed during their performance
Malaysia (PA) was upset about the decision.
Foreign artists who are filming or performing in Malaysia are subject to PUSPAL, a set of Malaysia’s government guidelines. As a business, FSA will be able to pursue its lawsuit against the band for damages of up to £1.9 million. The band was required to leave the country the day after their performance, according to a previous hearing in London, for which they were due to receive 350, 000 US dollars (£274, 000).
In written submissions to the hearing earlier this month, FSA’s Andrew Burns KC claimed the band “deliberately behaved in a way to challenge and provoke the Malaysian authorities” and that it was “fair, just, and reasonable” for them to impose a duty of care and demand that they answer for their breaches of contract.
But Edmund Cullen KC, for the band, described the claim as an “illegitimate, artificial and incoherent” attempt “to pin liability on individuals”. Judge Hansen ruled that Healy allegedly smoked cigarettes on stage before allegedly obstructing the FSA’s videographer’s drone before kissing bassist Ross MacDonald. Healy also allegedly allegedly snelt and smoked the bottle before obstructing the performance.
He also gave a “profanity-laden speech to the audience”, Judge Hansen said, in which Healy was quoted as saying: “I do not see the point of inviting the 1975 to a country and then telling us who we can have sex with. Unfortunately, you don’t get a set of loads of uplifting songs because I’m f****** furious and that’s not fair on you because you’re not representative of your government.
” I’ll take your money, you can ban me, but I’ve done this before and it doesn’t feel good, and I’m f***** off. “FSA was also ordered to pay £100, 000 in costs. The Good Vibes Festival in Malaysia, which was closed on the first of three nights, saw the Cheshire-based hit band perform. During their first performance, controversial singer Matty, 35, turned to his bandmate and bassist Ross MacDonald as the pair smooched one another.
His action sparked outrage in Malaysia, which has strict anti-gay laws in place. Somalia defines sodomy as a crime that can result in caning and up to 20 years in jail in Malaysia. Matty and Ross both identify as straight men.
Matty’s choice caused a lot of legal controversies for the festival. The Malaysian Central Agency for the Application for Foreign Filming and Performance by Foreign Artists (PUSPAL)’s guidelines for ” kissing, kissing a member of the audience, or engaging in such behavior among themselves have been removed. Matty has a long history of kissing fans, but his unusual smooching behavior became contentious.
Since then, the band has been placed on a national blacklist. The organizers of the festival, Future Sound Asia (FSA), claim that The 1975 Productions LLP brokered their agreement and that the four band members owed a duty of care. The company is seeking damages of £1.9 million in losses.

Although leopard print has always been popular (at least in my opinion), the trend really took off last year thanks to the well-known “mob wife” aesthetic and designer brands that showcased it on their runways. Although leopard print is still a big deal this year, there’s a new print taking over—cow print!
Cow print is everywhere this spring, unquestionably linked to the cowboy core craze sparked by Taylor Swift and Beyoncé and the general rise in popularity of country music. From mules to tote bags, jackets and skirts, there really isn’t anything you can’t find in the animal-inspired motif.
If the Western trend isn’t your thing, don’t let it put you off. Although this print is a staple of that style, we believe that many cow print fashion items have taken on a new life and are no longer in line with it. You can make the pieces your own, based on your personal style, with the help of so many brands that have created items in this well-known print. However, we’re here to help you out with a little styling inspiration.

THE MAXI SKIRT
When styling cow print (Mirror), keep the rest of your look simple.
M&, S has just dropped a cow print satin slip skirt, and it’s selling fast! One of the simplest ways to incorporate cow prints into your wardrobe is this. Simply put, wear a skirt that is comparable to what you already have. We suggest pairing it with a plain white t-shirt, leather goods, and biker boots. As the spring arrives, you could also layer over a leather or suede jacket.
SHOP THE LOOK: Animal print midaxi skirt, M&, S, £35 here, Everyday fit t-shirt, M&, S, £8.50 here, Dayla boots, Schuh, currently £24 here, Suede shopper bag, Mango, £59.99 here, and Outta Love sunglasses, Le Specs, £55 here.
THE CLOG
Wear a pair of cow print shoes (Mirror) to test the current fashion.
A great way to experiment with cow print footwear is if you’re not entirely committed to the trend. Although there are many cow print loafers everywhere, these Topshop clogs are my absolute obsession. As the new season begins, they look so cool and make for great transitional footwear. For a casual day look that is effortlessly chic and put-together, pair some indigo denim jeans with a black blouse.
SHOP THE LOOK: Annie leather buckle clogs, Topshop, £55 here, Straight regular jeans, H&, M, £37.99 here, Embroidered blouse, H&, M, £22.99 here, and Ramona mini grab bag, Fiorelli, currently £26.55 here.
THE JACKET
A cow print jacket (Mirror) makes a statement.
More of a fashion maximalist? Why not dive head first into the trend and choose a cow print or even a co-ord jacket? We advise pairing your jacket with a pair of ecru-colored jeans, any style you prefer, from straight leg to wide-leg and turn-up hems, to avoid appearing too costume-y. Don’t be afraid to mix and match different brown tones and shades because we believe cow print works wonderfully with brown suede. For the upcoming season, these Dr. Martens fisherman sandals are in style.
SHOP THE LOOK: Cow print collared jacket, YOURS Clothing, £39.99 here, The wide-leg jeans, M&, S, £35 here, Wrenlie bronx fisherman suede sandals, Dr. Martens, £150 here, and Suede grab bag, M&, S, £89 here.
THE TOTE BAG
Combine your cow print with double denim (Mirror) for a cowboy-core look that includes everything.
Keep your cowboy print tote bag a pair of denim and stick to the cowboy theme. We don’t believe cow print is the best option for print clashing because it already has a loud effect on the color and looks most elevated when worn with plain denim. The completely sold-out & Other Stories tote bag can be replaced with this bag from PLT.
SHOP THE LOOK: Oversized tote bag, Pretty Little Thing, currently £13 here, Mid blue denim jacket, Next, £48 here, Authentic denim jeans, Next, £26 here, and VL Court 3.0 trainers, Adidas, £60 here.
