Fearne Cotton has revealed she feels like she ‘missed out’ as she insists on having more fun following her split from husband Jesse Wood. The presenter debuted her new romance just 11 weeks after announcing the breakup as she was spotted sharing a passionate kiss.

She was seen sharing a kiss with TV director Elliot Hegarty after a night out in Soho, London last month following the break down of her marriage from husband Jesse after a decade together. They share two children; Rex, 11, and a daughter named Honey, nine. Jesse also has two children, Arthur, 22, and Lola, 19 with his ex wife, Tilly.

It seems Fearne may have found love again as she locked lips with Elliot, a dad-of-three, while Jesse has also moved on. He is understood to be dating Gemma Gregory, who found fame at the age of just 13 when she appeared in a BBC television adaptation of Charles Dickens’ Great Expectations.

In light of the new beginnings in her life, Fearne, who hosts her own podcast Happy Place, insists that she is now focusing on herself. She continued, “I’ve been a mother for the past 12 years and helping to build Happy Place.” I’ve been missing out on just having fun, despite continuing to want to do all of that.

I want to have more fun now that I’m in my 40s, to see my friends, to cook dinner for everyone at my house, to go on small nights out and to eat dinner without worrying about getting home late. She added to Women’s Health UK’s statement, “Your health is so important if you feel happy, upbeat, and supported by good people.”

A source told The Sun, Fearne has been ‘quietly dating’ the director, who worked on Disney+ hit Rivals, since January, and things are going well between them so far. They said: “Fearne and Elliot have known each other for a while. When their marriages ended their friendship developed into romance.

“They have been seeing each other since January,” they said. Elliot seems to make her very happy despite the fact that her split from Jesse was very difficult. Fearne announced on December 16 that her marriage with Jesse, who is the son of Rolling Stones icon Ronnie Wood, had ended. She posted a statement on Instagram which read: “It is with a heavy heart that I let you all know that Jesse and I are ending our marriage. Our priority has been and always will be our children. We please ask that you respect the privacy of our family at this time.”

However, it seems Ellie’s luck may have changed as she reunited with her former co-stars Catherine Tydesley and Shayne Ward in Malta. The Good Ship Murder stars are in the country alongside the cast and crew of the Channel 5 series. Catherine shared a snap of the team enjoying a dinner together as she teased: “Strong lineup last night.”

Ellie’s appearance in the photo sparked speculation that she might have broken her dry spell by joining the cast and breaking her.
