Carrie Underwood has been accused of diva antics following her impressive performance at the inauguration of President Donald Trump on Monday.

A source told the Daily Mail on Tuesday: “Carrie was the inauguration day diva. She’d been telling anyone who wanted to listen that Trump called her personally to ask her to perform.

“She hired an army of security, was requesting a handmade designer dress for the performance, and demanded she be allowed a team of 20. She of course demanded tickets for her family and friends on top of that as well. ” The Mirror has contacted a representative of Carrie for comment.

Alison Hammond says her new TV series with son Aidan brought back wonderful memories of being away in the sun with her late mother.

This Morning host Alison headed to Florida with Aidan for a new 10-part BBC series, Alison Hammond’s Florida Unpacked; a travelogue following the duo on a quest for adventure as well as practical tips to get the best deals for food, drink and accommodation.

“Aidan and I have done the research so you don’t have to! If you are organised and do a bit of research there are so many free or low cost activities,” Alison described.

The star’s mum, Maria, tragically passed away in 2020 after a battle with liver and lung cancer, and Alison revealed: “My mum, who worked as a travel agent, originally inspired me to go to Florida and she was always a big part of those trips.

“Mum wasn’t there this time so that was sad. But it was still lovely as Aidan and I have so many memories of visiting Florida with her and we reminisced about things together. The trip was a beautiful time spent with my son. ”

Getting up close and personal with the filming process, Aidan was impressed by his mum’s TV presenting skills for the first time. Aidan told TV Times: “I learned a lot. I learned that she’s actually a professional at her job. I used to think presenting was easy, like, ‘oh yeah she just stands there and talks’. But then I actually had to do it myself and realised ‘wow she’s really good at this’. ” Alison joked that it was like having a “work experience apprentice” with her, but that her son shared her work ethic.

Aidan also admitted that paragliding with his mum pushed him out of his comfort zone, but Alison – staying thrifty for the show – insisted on him doing it as it was a two-for-one deal! The mother-son duo hilariously revealed that they did have a few rows, but “mainly about directions. ”

Alison shares Aidan with her ex-fiancé Noureddine Boufaied. She and Noureddine called off their engagement in 2014 after welcoming their son in February 2005, and she’s now moved on with a new man. Alison has been dating younger man David Putman, 27, since the end of 2023 – embarking on a romance after she booked him for a massage – and the couple seems to be going from strength to strength.

Speaking to OK! Magazine, a source claimed that this is “the most content” Alison has been “for a long time,” with both her career and her personal life flourishing. The insider shared: “Her career is going from strength to strength and she loves being on This Morning with Dermot and audiences love her and she is very in demand. ”

Love Island fans have been left wondering where some of the cast have been on this years All Stars season – and now a former Islander has addressed the ‘missing’ rumours.

The highly anticipated star studded series is back for the second year running and after the first full week for the returning Islanders back in the villa looking for love, it appears some couples aren’t getting much screen time as others in there.

Fans have noticed Catherine Agbaje and Nas Majeed as well as Olivia Hawkins and Marcel Sommerville aren’t being shown as much as others on the show. Former Love Island contestant Ella Barnes from season 10, who is pals with both Liv and Catherine, gave her verdict on their whereabouts while appearing on The Mirror’s brand new Bombshell Briefing video series.

Spilling the tea on her two friends currently in the famous villa, Ella agreed they aren’t getting much screen time and said she would love to see more of them, but thinks it’s because they are in the ‘wrong’ couples and their personalities are being held back. “Liv is my really good friend on the outside, and we’re not seeing a lot of her, and neither of Catherine, and they’re such big personalities. I think it’s a shame,” she said.

The brunette beauty said her friends shouldn’t settle too quickly after coupling up with Nas and Marcel after week one. She added: “I know Liv has obviously spoken to Luca, he’s not really interested, but I do think the girls should be exploring their options a little bit more,” and also hinted that she doesn’t think either Catherine or Liv are suited to their couples and said we’ve “not seen them be affectionate to each other”.

Ella explained: “I don’t think Nas and Marcel are bringing out the girls’ personalities. They’re both really bubbly, chatty people, and we’re just not seeing that on the screen because obviously they’re not getting screen time. While the 30-year-old Never Say Never singe refrained from adding any caption to his upload, the professional photos showed the pair very much still an item as he attempted to play down the rumours.

Justin has also since refollowed his wife, 28. Fans of the couple were quick to comment on his post, with many gushing over an adorable snap of Justin with his baby son, Jack Blues.

Katie Price has directly addressed rumours that her very trim figure is due to secret Ozempic use.

The star has sparked concern with her sudden recent weight loss, with many worrying for her health and accusing her of taking Ozempic. Ozempic is a weekly injection that’s used to treat type 2 diabetes in adults, but came into the public eye after it was revealed that Hollywood stars such as Rebel Wilson used it for weight loss.

Katie addressed the concerns on Rob Moore’s podcast, Disruptors, and said that coming off of IVF was actually the reason behind her slimmed-down figure: “So people have said I’ve lost loads of weight. Now there’s a programme coming out in January, my IVF journey. Anyone you know who’s had IVF, you put on weight. I had three IVFs the past 15 months. They all failed. ”

Katie also said that being injured impacted her weight: “It started from when I broke my feet. They said I’d never run again. So I couldn’t run, wasn’t exercising, couldn’t ride my horses, so basically, I was in a wheelchair for 10 months.

“They said I couldn’t walk again, this all happened around COVID time, so obviously you’re going to put on weight because you’re not moving about. Then I had to learn to walk again, but slowly, I still can’t run now, because I’ve got screws in my feet. ”

She continued: “Then I did IVF, pumped all my stuff, and it takes ages for it to get back out your body. But I say to people, if you look at old pictures of me, even after I’ve had babies, I just shrink back. I’ve always been tiny, and I think because the past sort of three years, I’ve been bigger, but they’re the reasons why, right?

“Now I’ve gone back, now the IVF that’s all come out, and I’m more active because I could do more because of my feet, and I’m horse riding again, then naturally, I’m going back athletic again. ”

Asked specifically about Ozempic, she clarified that while she had no experience with it, her son Harvey was about to start taking it. She said: “No, but Harvey’s going on that. So I’ve had to sit there with the doctors. I think when it comes to things like that, I think because of Harvey and all the medication and that he has, I think people have to be really careful with things like that.

“I don’t need the Ozempic. I never have done. I’ve always been skinny. Look at old pictures of me. Always been tiny. ”

Katie briefly mentioned that her IVF journey is covered in a new documentary, Katie Price: Making Babies, which airs on Channel 4. The show covers her relationship with Love Island contestant Carl Woods, 35, and their journey to have a child together.

However, their attempts failed and Katie and Carl split soon after. Car salesman Carl has previously hit out at the show, expressing frustration that the specials were airing two years after their relationship collapsed.
