Prince Harry’s ‘cringeworthy’ secret email address and meaning behind it

Prince Harry is just like the rest of us when it comes to having an old, embarrassing email address.

The 40-year-old Duke is known to have used a number of different aliases to hide his identity when he was younger. And that included one of three email addresses he used around 2014.

According to The Telegraph, Harry has an account under the name ‘spikewales@hotmail. com’. The Prince opened up about his unusual nickname in his tell-all memoir Spare, and revealed just how it came about.

According to Harry, the nickname stuck when he was pictured back in 2003 with an echidna, which was also named Spike, during his gap year in Australia. A friend of Harry’s noticed a resemblance between the animal and the prince’s spiky hairstyle at the time.

As the outlet The Daily Beast stated: “He’s apparently just like the rest of us lowly commoners when it comes to creating amusing email addresses in his younger years which, in hindsight, are a bit cringeworthy. ” It seems the nickname really stuck.

According to reports, Harry’s close friends and protection officers used to call the Prince ‘Spike’ – and it was the name Harry used as a pseudonym for his secret Facebook account. The prince is said to have used the secret account, under the name Spike Wells, to communicate with then-girlfriend Chelsy Davy when he was stationed with the Army in Afghanistan.

However, he had to delete the profile in 2012 after the furore around his Las Vegas photographs provoked Palace security concerns. It’s not just Prince Harry who has assumed an alias to avoid being recognised in the past, it seems.

According to Hello! , when Prince William enrolled at St Andrews university he unofficially went by the name ‘Steve’. While all the Prince’s official documents had his real name, William Wales, on them, friends of the future monarch referred to him as Steve when talking about him in public, in order to help him stay under the radar.

And just recently the future King admitted he uses a fake name to post on football forums. During a visit to Birmingham, the football-loving Prince of Wales made time to join Villa fans at a Wetherspoons pub inside New Street station, where he even bought a round of drinks.

While discussing the ins and outs of the squad with fellow supporters, William disclosed he has a secret online presence on Aston Villa forums in order to keep in touch with grassroots opinions.

Steve Jones, a fan who shared a drink with the Prince, told The Athletic : “He said he keeps abreast of Villa gossip because he is on all the fans’ forums. He goes under different names and he posts on there because that’s how he gets the feeling of what’s going on and what’s the opinion. “

Tommy Fury receives grovelling apologies from guilty fans after Molly-Mae cheating claims

Boxer  Tommy Fury has received a number of grovelling apologies and well wishes from fans after opening up about his alcohol issues.

Just a couple of weeks ago, the former Love Island star and professional boxer, 25, found himself in the centre of several cheating allegations following his split from social media superstar, Molly-Mae Hague. The pair announced the end of their five-year relationship and the end of their engagement in August without explanation. However, Tommy felt the brunt of the Molly-Mae’s loyal fans as they accused him of cheating on the mother of their child.

While Tommy continuously vehemently denied all the allegations made against him, keyboard warriors were relentless in their bid to tear the former Love Island star down. Tommy, who is a proud dad to two-year-old daughter Bambi, even received death threats from fans who were convinced that Molly-Mae had dumped him after another cheating allegation.

However, earlier this month, Tommy came clean about why he and Molly-Mae were forced to end their love story. The star revealed that he had been dealing with alcohol issues which was heavily impacting his relationship. He told Men’s Health: “I couldn’t be the partner that I wanted to be anymore. Cheating was never a thing. You can ask Molly this yourself. It was the drink, and the drink is not a good thing. “

Following his admission, and following the release of Molly-Mae’s Amazon Prime documentary, Behind It All, which delves into the former couple’s heartbreaking split, fans have now backtracked and issued apologies to Tommy. Meanwhile, others have wished him well on his battle with alcohol and have shared their hopes that he can get back on the straight-and-narrow and win back Molly-Mae for good.

Underneath his latest Instagram post, which sees the boxer try an array of ready-meals by M& S, dozens of followers poured their hearts out to Tommy. One wrote: “I was wrong about you and I apologise Tommy. ” Another echoed: “I really misjudged this whole situation and I’m woman enough to admit I was so wrong in doing that. I hope you can make things work with Molly-Mae and be a happy family again. I really do. “

Someone else penned: “Get ya lady back Tommy, fight for her… Prayers you are through the dark times. ” Another fan added: “How everyone has changed up after believing all of these rumours and sending death threats to Tommy. I always knew it was a lie. I hope your doing okay Tommy. “

“You two LITERALLY belong together. Everyone’s so invested because you both are so liked together,” another shared. And another one of his followers added: “The switch up in comments is so funny. Now they have told the truth they all soon changed their tunes. Get better soon Tommy and reunite with your beautiful family. “

It comes after Molly-Mae recently denied that she and Tommy split was part of a PR stunt. During the premiere of her upcoming documentary Molly-Mae: Behind It All, the mother-of-one opened up about her relationship with the father of her daughter.

She told Mail Online: “I actually say in the documentary that I wish it was a publicity stunt because it would have been a lot easier… That for me above everything has been the most frustrating part.

“Because going through all of this with the turmoil of a breakup has been incredibly hard. To have those comments and I do see the comments, I see all of them, and people saying ‘this has obviously just been done for the launch of her brand or a publicity stunt’ that is very painful to read because it’s real life.

“Tommy and I have a baby together and it’s very, very real. It’s a really hard thing that we have both gone through the past six months. I wish it was a publicity stunt because it would have been a lot easier, but it isn’t, and I think this documentary will clear up any questions of that. You see the real side to it; it’s like you’re a fly on the wall and I think people will be quite surprised by how honest we have been. “

Stacey Solomon shows the messiest room in her house and pleads ‘don’t judge me’

Loose Women star  Stacey Solomon  is known for her Instagram-worthy Pickle Cottage but she recently gave fans a glimpse at the messiest room in her home.

The mum of five took to Instagram to share the current state of her home and begged viewers not to judge her for one particular room, despite being the host for BBC’s hoarding-help show Sort Your Life Out.

After completing her school run on Tuesday, Stacey posted several videos on her Instagram story to share recent projects in the family home named Pickle Cottage, which she shares with her husband Joe Swash  and their collective six children. Stacey began with a girls room reset, showing soft pink walls featuring a neon sign of ‘Belle & Rose’, a vanity nook against a rose filled wall, and Lilo and Stitch themed bunk beds. The dreamy bedroom also featured a Swedish style rug and various trinkets, creating a calming environment for the under-three year olds.

Stacey captioned one photo of the girls hanging hoodie robes, saying: “Feels SO Good. To have everything in its own space, all their little figurines in tubs etc. Its also freed up space downstairs and I’ve left some shelves empty for future bits and bobs”.

The story then panned “from the cleanest room in the house to the messiest” as Stacey exposed her fans to her utility room, repeatedly saying “don’t judge me”, which she also wrote in big bold letters over the top of the clip. She revealed her next task to tackle was the cluttered room by “completely empty[ing]” the pale green cupboards, ready to be prepped for painting. She said: “I’m going to organise it outside the utility so that when the painting is done, I can just put everything back in there. “

“Half of the stuff in these cupboards are just empty boxes, out of date medicine… I’ve just got to sort it out properly”, said the mum, claiming she needed the video as “evidence for just how bad it had got” and shared how excited she was to start again.

The need to plead with viewers to not to judge her perhaps stems from her being the host of BBC’s show Sort Out Your life, and organisational show that supports members of the public to descale the contents of their cupboards/wardrobes in an effort to give as many people the satisfaction of a clean, decluttered home they deserve. Previously known for blowing Simon Cowell away in 2009’s X Factor, the star now has a Mary Condo-esque reputation when it comes to her own home.

However Stacey’s fans took to the comments to reassure her, insisting that “we all have a messy room”, it “shows it’s lived in” and that here was “no judgement here”.

Being prepped for Stacey’s usual pink theme, the current green cupboards were opened to reveal old boxes, pet food, washing detergent and medicine – amongst other things. Stacey hoped that this would be “a nice little reminder that if you live in your house, sometimes it gets like this! And nothing stays perfect forever! “.

Her last video left viewers sharing in the satisfaction of Stacey emptying out her cupboards, and deep cleaning the coat-and-shoes nook labelled after each of her children. Stacey celebrated completing the task, saying: “I’ve built up so much STUFF in here, it’s terrible. So many empties/a few OOD (out of date) shoes the kids have grown out of”, and explained how “there’s a hidden storage nook in the seating are I forgot about”.

“I need to plan better when I bring things back in. But first, PINK. ” said the star, who’s method was “shoving things onto a sheet and dragging them out” – joking that was her “life hack of the day”.

The star has previously opened up on her blended family, sharing how her eldest sons, Zachary, 15, and Leighton, 11, struggled with being separated from their mother and siblings when spending time with their respective dads. In an interview last year, Stacey shared how she would beat herself up for not being able to provide a “normal, perfect family all under one roof” however realised how “normal, and perfect” her family is for them.

Sons Zachary and Leighton now seemed to have followed in Joe Walsh’s footsteps in TV family tradition as they land a role in Hollyoaks, posted on the soap’s Instagram the same day.

World’s richest musician worth £2.5billion has twice as much money as Taylor Swift

Rappers often boast about their wealth, but Jay-Z, the world’s richest musician with a staggering $2. 5 billion fortune, has the bank balance to back it up.

Despite not dropping a new album in eight years, Jay-Z remains at the top of the music industry’s rich list, thanks to his savvy business ventures that have doubled his net worth since 2019.

His illustrious career kicked off in 1996 with the launch of his Roc-A-Fella label and the release of his debut studio album, Reasonable Doubt. Since then, he’s sold over 125 million records worldwide and bagged 24 Grammy awards.

However, Jay-Z’s colossal wealth, estimated by Forbes to be around $2. 5 billion, stems more from his diverse business deals than his hit records. Meanwhile, despite Taylor Swift raking in a record-breaking $190 million post-tax earnings from her historic Eras Tour, she trails behind Jay-Z with a net worth of £1. 3 billion, making her the second richest musician.

Swift, who is believed to be the first billionaire from music alone, has accumulated around £473 million from royalties and touring, owns a music catalogue valued at another £483 million, and holds real estate assets estimated at £99 million.

The 55-year-old entrepreneur has built his fortune through his own start-ups and early investments in global giants like Uber and SpaceX. One of Jay-Z’s most unexpected ventures kicked off in 2013 when he announced the creation of a sports agency, Roc Nation Sports, reports the Express.

Initially dismissed by sporting titans, the agency gained traction after poaching a New York Yankee from a renowned baseball agent. The firm’s growth skyrocketed after signing basketball heavyweights Kevin Durant and Jeremy Lin, and it now ranks as the seventh largest sports agency worldwide, valued at approximately $200 million (£161 million).

Jay-Z, born Shawn Corey Carter, bagged another hefty pay-out in 2021 when he sold his music streaming service Tidal for $297 million to a fintech company, just six years after buying it himself. Beyonce’s husband’s business ventures continue with a $200 million contract to promote Live Nation, an entertainment company and ticket-selling business.

However, his biggest earnings come from his alcohol ventures, being a significant player in two businesses that have netted him a billion dollars alone. In the ’90s, Jay-Z regularly featured champagne from the brand Cristal in his music videos and songs.

But after their CEO made racist remarks, he switched his loyalty to Armand de Brignac, leading to him buying 50 percent of the company in 2006 and acquiring the rest eight years later.

In 2021, Bernard Arnault, the wealthiest man in Europe and owner of LVMH, bought a 50% stake in Jay-Z’s business for a reported $630 million, leaving the rapper with a cool $300 million profit. However, his biggest payday came from drinks giant Bacardi, with whom he partnered to purchase D’ussé, a high-end cognac brand.

In 2023, the Brooklyn-born mogul solidified his wealth empire when the rum company bought out his stake for a staggering $750 million.

World’s richest YouTuber surpasses Jake Paul and PewDiePie with a £1 billion fortune

This February marks the 20th anniversary of the launch of YouTube, a website that is now as integral to our modern lives as the phones that we view the platform on.

Back in February 2005 the first ever video was uploaded – ‘Me At The Zoo’ – a shaky, grainy 18 second clip of Jawed Karim, one of YouTube’s co-founders, talking about elephants – certainly not a clip that seemed to herald the launch of, what is today, the second-most-visited website in the world, after Google Search.

Skip forward two decades and the richest YouTuber (a popular term that Karim and his pals would probably not have dared to dream of) is raking in an outstanding £1 billion fortune.

You might have guessed that the top dog could be Jake Paul, who first shot to fame on the now-defunct platform ‘Vine’, where he amassed millions of followers. After Vine bit the dust, he hopped over to YouTube, where he continued to flourish with his prank and music videos. Jake Paul’s net worth stands today at a mighty £65m.

Or perhaps it could be someone like PewDiePie, famed for his gaming videos, with his debut video on the platform amassing over 21 million views. The content-maker, real name Felix Arvid Ulf Kjellberg is currently worth $45 million (just under £37 million).

In fact, the wealthiest YouTuber’s net worth eclipses both Jake Paul and PewDiePie’s combined. He also surpasses them significantly in subscriber numbers, with Jake Paul boasting 20. 9 million, and PewDiePie claiming 110 million – the richest YouTuber trumps them both with a staggering 344 million.

If you’ve figured out that it’s MrBeast, also known as Jimmy Donaldson, then you’re spot on. He’s the one who holds the title of the world’s wealthiest YouTuber with his staggering net worth.

MrBeast first hit YouTube back in 2012, where he shot to viral fame with his gruelling challenge videos, including a clip of him counting to 100,000 which took a whopping 40 hours to finish. Ironically enough, some of his first videos also centred around guessing the net worth of other YouTubers.

Today, Donaldson also runs the YouTube channels Beast Reacts, MrBeast Gaming, MrBeast 2 and Beast Philanthropy, and has invested much of his fortune into commendable charity projects, such as Team Seas, a fundraiser for Ocean Conservancy and The Ocean Cleanup that has raised over $30 million.

And to top it all off, MrBeast has been revealed as having officially joined the bid to buy TikTok’s US operations, a move which could spell further world-wide success and admiration, certainly from fans of the temporarily vulnerable platform.
