When former Love Island star Samie Elishi was pictured kissing Sam Thompson, the pair quickly hit the headlines. The couple were spotted in an intimate embrace outside the birthday party of Olivia Attwood last week, held at Mayfair’s Bacchanalia. Cupping her face in his hands, the pair appeared oblivious to onlookers as they publicly confirmed their romance.

Now, Samie has finally opened up about the new romance with the ex Made in Chelsea star. The 25-year-old was coy when discussing the potential of her new relationship with Sam, 32. Samie appeared on the podcast Chloe Mediumship and revealed that in past relationships, she always had a negative gut instinct.

She explained: “I’ve had gut feelings with guys before. I’ve had a couple of relationships where I’ve known it was never it. Like this is gonna come to an end, I’ll have something telling me every day it’s coming to an end, this isn’t for you.”

She added: “You put it to the back of your mind and then you start noticing the chaos increase. It’s like the universe saying I’m gonna blow you both up if you just do not separate.”

Samie continued: “Then I’m like if only I listened all those months ago when I got that first message.”

Chloe then asked if she had the same gut feeling. In response, Samie said: “There’s been no bad stuff at the minute so yeah I suppose it is all positive right now. It’s early days.”

The reality TV star first found fame in 2023 when she appeared on Love Island. She later returned to the All Stars series last year.

Since Sam split with his ex Zara McDermott, the pair started to build a connection via messaging on Instagram before finally meeting in person.

A source told MailOnline: “Sam and Samie are really getting along and if early signs are anything to go by, this could turn into a long-term relationship. It may be early days still, but they do really like each other.”

The added that Sam is already introducing Samie to Chelsea, having taken her to the King’s Road over the Easter weekend.

Sam and Zara ended their relationship four months ago. And within that time, Zara had started a relationship with former One Direction singer Louis Tomlinson.

Speaking on his podcast with co-host Pete Wicks, he revealed: “I feel like I’m ready to get out there. I feel like I’m at a stage now where I feel confident enough that I can start approaching females.”

He added: “I feel good, things are really really nice at the moment. And I feel like I’m happy. There’s no more brave faces’, causing Pete to proudly declare: ‘Sam’s ready to date!’.”

Prince Harry’s ‘shock over going too far’ with King bombshell as he ‘faces consequences’

It has been more than a week since Prince Harry’s bombshell interview with the BBC and royal expert Jennie Bond believes he may now have a shock realisation over his claims

Prince Harry might realise he went “too far” when discussing his father, the King’s, health in a bombshell interview, according to an expert.

It’s been a week since the Duke of Sussex lost a Court of Appeal challenge over his security arrangements while in the UK and then gave an emotional interview, which would have left royal eyes rolling behind palace doors. In it, he claimed his father the King doesn’t speak to him, said he could not see a world where he would bring his children to visit the UK and declared he felt he had been “stitched up”.

In one part of the chat with the BBC, which is particularly said to have raised eyebrows, is when he touched on the health of his father, who is still being treated for cancer. He said: “Life is precious. I don’t know how much longer my father has, he, he won’t speak to me because of this security stuff, but it would be nice to reconcile.”

But with emotions still seemingly running high amid Harry’s rift with his royal relatives, former BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond believes Harry may now realise the consequences of what he said.

She told the Mirror: “I suspect that Harry said more than he had perhaps intended because he was consumed with anger that the court decision had gone against him. When the court ruling didn’t go his way, he was, in his own words ‘gutted and devastated’. And he was clearly seething with fury. And that is rarely the best time to air your thoughts.

“I think he might now realise that he went too far in talking about his father’s health. That was a clear invasion of the privacy that Harry himself so covets. And he might also realise that he has, in my opinion, now lost the support of the vast majority of the British public.”

Harry has been pursuing a case through the UK courts after his level of security changed in 2020, when he and Meghan stepped down as working royals and moved to California to carve out a new life for themselves.

He failed in his appeal against the dismissal of his High Court claim against the Home Office, over the decision of the Executive Committee for the Protection of Royalty and Public Figures (Ravec) that he should receive a different degree of protection when in the UK.

And Jennie says she has a degree of sympathy for him as he’s left reeling following his court defeat. She added: “I do understand Harry‘s feeling that he has been singled out for special treatment. I get that it seems illogical that others, former Prime Ministers, for example, who have left public office, still get police protection.

“But, as the Palace has stated, the decision by the Ravec committee has been tested in court several times, and it has come up with the same conclusion on each occasion.

“Moreover, other members of his family – apart from the King, Queen and William and his family – do not get the level of protection that Harry appears to be demanding. And it’s not as if he has been told there will be no protection. It’s just that it will be assessed case by case.”

In the wake of the controversial interview, VE Day commemorations carried on in earnest for the rest of the Royal Family this week. To mark the 80th anniversary of the end of the Second World War, the royals took part in a series of engagements, including a huge Buckingham Palace balcony appearance and a moving service at Westminster Abbey.

Jennie said: “Despite their disappointment – and anger – over Harry’s interview, the Royal Family did what they do best at the VE Day commemorations. They carried on regardless, with grace and dignity, rising above the furore over the rift.

“We saw a family which, without Harry, is very much in harmony, working together and with the three children beginning to learn the ropes of royal duties. Therein lies the continuity of monarchy, with or without the errant brother.”

Kelsey Parker, who is the widow of the late Tom Parker, has revealed that she is determined to keep his memory alive despite being pregnant for her new man, Will Lindsay. Tom, who was part of The Wanted, lost his battle in 2022 after being diagnosed with a brain tumour. Now, Kelsey is hosting the third charity football match in a bid to raise awareness and funds for research into brain tumours.

Kelsey went public with her pregnancy back in January but in a recent interview, she defiantly claimed that the arrival of her new baby will not overshadow the legacy of the late singer. The Mum’s The Word podcast host, 34, was married to Tom for four years and the couple share two children together. Two years on, Kelsey revealed that she had found love again with her tree surgeon beau Will.

In an interview with The Standard, she said: “Me being with Will and having a child with Will would never take away the love that we have for Tom and the love that even Will has for Tom, because Will ultimately loves Tom’s kids.”

She added: “It’s about us as a family and Will’s a massive part of their life now.”

This will now be the third Tom Parker Celebrity Football match in his memory at Bromley F.C stadium in Kent.

The annual event promises to be a family affair that will also include food stalls, raffles and live performances.

The celebrities that took part include Ryan and Scott Thomas, former TOWIE star Dan Osbourne and ex Love Island stars Finley Tapp and Ronnie Vint.

In addition, Coronation Street’s Alex Bain, EastEnders’ Jaden Ladega had also signed up to be part of this year’s charity match.

She told the publication: “For my kids [these annual football matches are] a day to remember their dad. “

She added: “When you get diagnosed like Tom did, it rocked our whole world and our family to know how underfunded brain tumours are and just raising that awareness that we’re gonna do on Saturday will go such a long way.”

She continued: “Even talking about it now, people have no clue that brain tumours are the biggest killer for under 40s and children and we only get one per cent of national funding. “

“That’s it. That’s all that goes towards brain tumours so more needs to be done and I feel like Tom’s left me the legacy to continue for him because he did so much in his 18 months of getting sick that now it’s my time to go you know what? I’ll continue shining a light on it for him”, she said.

She went on to say: “It’s a [big responsibility] but I’m doing it all for him because what we went through as a family you just wo9uldn’t wish that on your worst enemy. So it’s all about just helping other people now.”

“While the world has lost an extraordinary talent, we have lost someone irreplaceable – and we ask for privacy as we navigate this painful moment together.”

Fans and followers flooded the comments section with condolences and memories. One fan wrote, “Oh honey 🙁 I’m so sorry. I love you and I’m praying! ! !” Another shared a personal memory, saying, “He was always very kind to me. He left a great legacy.”

A third added, “I am so sad to hear this and so very sorry for your loss. I will always be a fan of his music. Praying for you and your family.”

A devastated fan lamented: “The world lost a great one tonight. God Bless you all,” while another offered their condolences: “Sorry for yours and your families loss. Johnny was a great man.”

Johnny’s illustrious career was marked by chart-toppers like ‘Pass Me By’, ‘I’m Not Up to Feelin’ Down Tonight’, and ‘You Always Come Back to Hurting Me’, his first country number one hit.

Known for his distinctive fusion of Spanish lyrics with country melodies, the singer set a pioneering trend in the 1970s music scene.

Johnny broke out into the country music scene with his first single Pass Me By (If You’re Only Passing Through) in 1973, before topping the American country music charts with songs You Always Come Back (To Hurting Me), Ridin’ My Thumb to Mexico and That’s the Way Love Goes.

P Diddy case has ‘significant complexity’, says legal expert as trial begins

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs faces trial on charges, including racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion and transportation to engage in prostitution. He denies the allegations

The trial of Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is under way

The trial of Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is under way, with jury selection taking place this week. However, it’s already faced a delay with selection having been postponed until Monday due to concerns that jurors might drop out over the weekend if the panel was finalised on Friday as originally planned.

Combs’s defense team had requested the delay, but prosecutors had opposed the postponement. Now, a US legal expert has revealed the “significant complexity” to the case.

Potential jurors in the trial had to answer written questions in a test to see what they knew and heard about the case and whether they could be fair. They were also asked if they could handle a two-month trial which may feature sexually explicit evidence.

The rapper, 55, is accused of a number of charges, including racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion and transportation to engage in prostitution. He has continued to deny all allegations since he was charged and put behind bars, with his multiple bail pleas rejected.

Legal expert and Managing Partner of Sweet James, Bobby Taghavi, admits Combs’ case is “absolutely” more complex due to the accused being such a prominent figure in the public eye.

Article continues below

Speaking exclusively to the Mirror, Taghavi said: “When a defendant is a high-profile public figure like Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, it adds significant complexity to a criminal case—especially during jury selection.”

He went on: “Public notoriety means that most potential jurors have already heard about the allegations, and many may have formed opinions based not on evidence, but on media reports, social media, or the defendant’s public persona.

“Some jurors may feel a sense of admiration or loyalty to the figure, while others may harbour skepticism or bias due to prior controversies. This creates a minefield of implicit and explicit biases that both sides must navigate carefully.”

Taghavi said that when the charges involve sexual assault, there is a greater difficulty in picking a fair and impartial jury. “Sexual assault is a uniquely personal and emotionally charged issue,” he said.

“Many jurors bring deeply rooted beliefs or lived experiences to the courtroom—whether they’ve survived assault themselves or know someone who has. These experiences can shape how they view credibility, power dynamics, and trauma. As a former Sexual Assault Prosecutor, navigating these topics with potential jurors was extremely complex in and of itself.”

He continued: “The intersection of celebrity status and the emotionally complex nature of sexual assault allegations makes every stage of the trial—particularly jury selection—extraordinarily challenging.

“Both the defense and prosecution must work diligently to seat jurors who can genuinely put aside personal views and public perceptions, and decide the case solely on the facts and the law.”

Combs believes the jury will clear him of the devastating accusations made against him. The 12 people on the jury are set to hear shocking evidence that could put him away for life with allegations that he drugged and abused a number of victims during drug-fuelled sex parties dubbed “freak-offs”.

Federal prosecutors in New York alleged the rapper “abused, threatened and coerced women” into long, drug-fuelled orgies with male prostitutes he called “freak offs” and even threatened them into silence.

The indictment against Combs said: “After Freak Offs, Combs and the victims typically received IV fluids to recover from the physical exertion and drug use.”

Combs has pleaded not guilty to racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking and transportation to engage in prostitution charges, which is five counts in all. His defence attorneys, who include Marc Agnifilo and Teny Geragos, claim his sexual encounters were all consensual and said Combs is a swinger who occasionally invited people into his bedroom.

Lisa Armstrong has splashed out on another house – as she builds an impressive property portfolio in the wake of her divorce from Ant McPartlin.

The make-up artist, who was said to have been awarded £31million in a settlement from the TV star, snapped up a four-bed house near Oxford last year for more than £700,000.

She already has the former family home, a £2.3million five-bedroom west London mansion, which she kept as part of the divorce. Lisa then bought a £3.8million house in west London in 2020, two years following her split from Ant after 11 years of marriage.

She is expected to undertake extensive renovations of her latest purchase. It is not known if she is set to live there but she grew up in Oxford and knows the area well.

Lisa is fast becoming a savvy property developer. She completely renovated her 2020 house purchase installing a pool, a gym, outhouse and gazebo.

However she has less luck with the former marital home after it suffered a fire in September 2023, causing £1million worth of damage. Lisa had been renting the property to a family of six, it was reported at the time.

The Mirror told last year how she was looking to move on after a “topsyturvy few years to say the least.” “She is very much focused on the future and is in a really good place after what was a difficult period,” our source said.

Lisa and Ant announced they were to divorce in January 2018, two months before he crashed into two other cars while more than twice the drink-drive limit.

He later admitted drink-driving and was fined £86,000 and given a 20-month ban.

He went into rehab after the crash and took a 10-month break from TV presenting. The presenter went on to marry his former personal assistant, Anne-Marie Corbett, in 2021 and the pair welcomed their first child together, son Wilder Patrick McPartlin in May.

Lisa then went on to date Sky electrician James Green in 2020 but their split came ‘out of the blue’ in August 2023.

Speaking at the time a friend said that the end of their three-year relationship had been amicable and that the former couple would remain friends.
