Katie Price posted some worrying snaps online as she shared a major health concern.

Katie’s mum Amy was diagnosed with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) in 2017, and went on to have a lung transplant last year. Peter Andre ’s ex recently revealed that while she’d never been a smoker she quickly got drawn in by vapes, and started suspecting something could be wrong with her own lungs.

On Snapchat, 46-year-old Katie shared that she was heading up to London for the day, and soon revealed that she was getting her lungs scanned. The star admitted that she was “nervous” to undergo the tests, but said that it had to be done. She then posted plenty of photos and videos from the medical practice, showing herself going through various exams.

This morning, she updated: “So I thought I’d give an update about yesterday when I went and had my lungs checked. Obviously I had them checked because my mum had a lung transplant, and to see if it’s genetic and to see if vaping has affected my lungs or anything like that.

“But my lungs are absolutely perfect, nothing wrong with them, and he gave me advice how to get off the vapes. So I’m starting to wean myself off the vapes. But yeah it’s all good news, they’re all working well and they’re really good lungs, especially for my age. So all good! I’m all healthy! “

Just after news of her lung check, Katie was spotted at the airport with her boyfriend ahead of a getaway with a twist, joined boyfriend JJ Slater, 31. The couple held hands as she wheeled a pink suitcase around duty free, with Katie showing off her mass of tattoos in a cropped tee and comfy sweatpants.

The loved-up duo is believed to be en-route to Turkey, blasting rumours that they’ve split. The tip isn’t just a holiday, however, with Katie set to have even more cosmetic surgery, just a couple of months after she underwent a dramatic £10,000 face lift.

According to insiders, Katie’s trip to surgery will include a procedure to tweak her ears. A source told Closer UK that she’s on a mission to correct her ‘pixie ears’, a side-effect she blames on a previous face-lift.

“Katie is heading to Turkey in January for her first New Year’s procedure: fixing her pixie ears,” the source said. “She thinks they need correcting after her recent facelift. She’s having her ears removed, then re-stitched in place and pinned back so that they don’t stick out. “

Considering how many major and minor changes Katie has made to her face and body, her pals have reportedly voiced concern that her surgery addiction could be an issue. “Friends think Katie has gone too far. They feel like she’s obsessed and loves the attention – and the money from the pictures – that the surgery brings in,” an insider told the Daily Record.

The person close to Katie’s circle said that her attitude towards surgery was relaxed, rather than seeing the transformations as a life-changing choice. They shared: “It seems to them like she’s locked into a dangerous ugly cycle, but Katie loves being able to reinvent herself and looks at a procedures list like a menu. She wants to try everything. ”

While Katie’s friends are reportedly concerned, Katie herself seems to have suspicions that her attitude towards her appearance isn’t completely healthy. In an interview with Closer late last year after her 17th breast operation, she admitted she might need therapy for her attitude towards cosmetic procedures.

Katie admitted: “I think I need therapy when it comes to surgery. I wouldn’t say I’ve got body dysmorphia, but there’s obviously an underlying something why I feel the need to get surgery, or why I look in the mirror and think, ‘I want to change that, or that’. What you’ve got to remember is that I’m four years away from being 50 so I’m entitled to [do] whatever I want to my face. “

Alongside alarming friends with her need to go under the knife, Katie has also recently sparked concern with her sudden recent weight loss. Due to her ‘frail’ appearance, one source claims that her pals are worried she’s not healthy enough for this Turkey trip.

“She wants to have her ears corrected and her bum lifted with filler, but people who care about her are worried that she’s not healthy or strong enough to be going on an operating table,” they revealed.

Paul Danan had planned a return to TV before his death.

The 46-year-old had previously experienced a health scare six months ago when he almost died from respiratory failure brought on by his addiction to vapes, and had said it was a “miracle” he survived and he was planning on making changes in his life.

Sadly, Paul died at a luxury apartment near Bristol last week. It was later reported that he died after he “slipped and fell” in the property. His management announced his death on Thursday 16 January, hailing Paul as a “beacon of light”. They said in a statement: “It is with heavy hearts that we share the tragic news of the passing of @pauldanan at just 46 years old. “

“Known for his television presence, exceptional talent, and unwavering kindness, Paul was a beacon of light to so many. His untimely departure will leave irreplaceable voids in the lives of all who knew him. During this difficult time, we kindly request respect and privacy for Paul’s family, friends, and colleagues. His funeral was held on Tuesday 21 January. Paul’s close friends and former co-stars were among those attending his funeral and friends also paid tribute to the actor and reality star online. Big Brother star Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace was among stars paying tribute to Paul, writing: “Paul Danan… a friend of mine… I’m so shocked and heartbroken… . my darling man… I will cherish all our happy memories. ” Alongside a broken heart emoji, she concluded: “RIP u beautiful amazing talented human. ”

The former Hollyoaks and Love Island star was reportedly in talks to appear on the Channel 4 dating series First Dates just weeks before his death.

A source told The Sun: “Paul was feeling so excited about the future again and optimistic about finding someone he could share the rest of his life with. He loved being on telly and First Dates seemed like a great opportunity to get back onto the dating scene. Obviously producers were really keen to sign him up knowing how popular he was and they were in discussions about him joining the next series. ” The Mirror has reached out to Channel 4 for comment.

Love Island alum Eve Gale has been left “surprised” and a little bewildered after her ex made his way back to the villa for Love Island All Stars .

The revelation comes after Casey O’Gorman apparently told her he wouldn’t be joining the star-studded series — a claim that’s now proven to be far from the truth.

Casey entered the villa in the ninth series of the show as a contestant, joined the show in the inaugural series of All Stars and finally entered the villa as a bombshell this year for the third time, on Tuesday 14 January during the second episode of the 2025 series.

Casey and Eve were coupled during the inaugural All Stars series in 2024. They paired up on Day 23 but were dumped from the villa on Day 28 after receiving the fewest votes for favourite couple. Following their exit, they spent a week together in South Africa before returning to the UK.

Speaking on FUBAR Radio ’s Access All Areas , hosted by Bobby Norris and Ellen Coughlan, Eve shared her reaction to Casey’s third stint on the show: “I am so surprised that he’s going in again,” she admitted. “I literally spoke to him not too long ago. We were like, ‘Are you doing All Stars? ’ And we both said, ‘No, no, we’d never do that again. ’”

Clearly, Casey’s decision has raised eyebrows — not least with Eve, but also with fans as they were left issuing the same question to show bosses after the news he would be heading back to the villa.

But Eve wasn’t the only one spilling the tea. Her twin sister, Jess Gale, joined in, sharing her thoughts on this year’s cast and the potential strategic moves at play. “With Ekin-Su [Cülcüloğlu] and Curtis [Pritchard], I just don’t know,” Jess mused. “I feel like they both know the game. They’re quite similar, switched on with TV. I mean, it’s funny — they’re great to watch. ”

The pair’s apparent instant connection, though, has Jess questioning just how genuine the spark really is. “It’s so quick, isn’t it? Like, straight away they’re solid. You just don’t know whether it’s genuinely an amazing connection. ”

Jess also revealed that she herself had been approached about a potential return to the villa — but firmly shut it down. “I saw the producers at the NTAs, like, the executives, and they were kind of like, ‘Would you do it again? ’” she explained. “And I was just like, no. I feel like, if you do Love Island, you do All Stars once. But twice? That’s a bit much. ”

Stacey Solomon has gushed over her sons’ excitement after being offered the chance to appear in Hollyoaks following a chance meeting

An emotional Stacey Solomon has opened up on her sons’ latest surprise appearance.

Two of the singer’s children – Zachary, 16, and Leighton, 12 – have been cast in Hollyoaks to make their acting debut. And the mum-of-five couldn’t hide her delight at their career choice as she explained how they landed the opportunity.

Following Channel 4’s Instagram account sharing behind-the-scenes sneak peeks of the set, including the pair enjoying their time on the set, fans were amazed. And they quickly quizzed Stacey on their appearance.

She decided to break her silence on her actor sons and took to Instagram Stories to explain their move. “So many are you messaging me saying, ‘Was that Zach and Leighton I saw in Hollyoaks?’,” she said. “I know it’s so random but it was!”

Stacey, 35, said it was the “funniest story” as she opened up on how they were headhunted for an appearance. “So when me and Zach went to the NTAs, we ended up meeting, on the red carpet, the exec of Hollyoaks and Zach is the biggest Hollyoaks fan,” she continued. “He’s obsessed. When he was little he used to get so excited for Sundays to watch the Hollyoaks Omnibus.

“And he was like, ‘Oh my God, I love Hollyoaks! ‘ and he was talking to her and she was like, ‘Why don’t you come down and see the set? ‘ He was just over the moon and so excited. Zach wants to be a mechanic when he’s older, there’s no interesting in acting. Neither Zach or Leighton want to do anything in that industry but he was just so excited to go and see the set. “

While explaining their lack of interest in making it a full-time career move, Stacey told how they were offered the chance to be extras in a scene. She went on: “So me, Zach and Leighton went up there and they just loved it.

“They were so nervous to be extras. They loved every second of it and the people at Hollyoaks were just so lovely and so kind and so nice to us and they just had the best day ever. “

She then shared an image of the youngsters standing alongside Hollyoaks stars Charlie Wernham and Charlie Clapham. She captioned the post: “My boys. For anyone who is raising teenagers I don’t know if it’s the same for you but it’s a rare moment with mine to see them really excited about something. So I can honestly say, watching how happy and excited they were this day made my heart so happy.”

For their small parts, Leighton appeared as a paperboy and was told off for turning up late for his round. Zachary, meanwhile, dressed as a Parcel Patrons worker.

Tasha Ghouri’s mum has seemingly waded into the debate about her daughter’s breakup from Andrew Le Page.

Zara McDermott called on her dad to help her after running into car troubles.
