Gordon Ramsay, a husband and father, is a devoted husband and father despite having a fiery temper.

The Hell’s Kitchen star, 58, tied the knot to wife Tana, 50, in 1996 and went on to welcome Megan, 26, twins Holly and Jack, 24, Tilly, 22, five-year-old Oscar and baby Jesse, who was born in 2023. However it almost wasn’t meant to be as when they first met at a party of a mutual friend, Tana, a former schoolteacher, was already dating someone else.

Soon afterward, their paths crossed again, and the pair has since committed. As Gordon reached international stardom, earning an impressive accolade from Michelin restaurants, Tana held the fort at home, raising their six children.

And it hasn’t been easy as they split their time as a family between LA and London thanks to the restauranteur’s demanding career, with their marriage once rocked by a cheating scandal in 2008, and more recently, overcoming the tragic loss of their stillborn son, Rocky.

Cheating claim

When a woman claimed to have had a seven-year affair with Gordon, their romance was roiled. When Sarah Symonds claimed to have met the TV chef at London’s Chinawhite Nightclub in the winter of 2001 while working in sales for an events and limo company in London at the age of 31.

‘Resentment’

Like most couples, the division of labour around the house can be a source of contention. Tana has also acknowledged that she disliked doing their household’s majority of the childcare.

The former teacher, 50, discussed this with Giovanna Fletcher on her Happy Mum Happy Baby podcast, where she claimed she found it difficult to watch her husband relax after working despite the pair agreeing that she would assume most of his responsibilities while he was a chef and TV star.

Asked if their prior agreement made it easier for the couple, she replied:” Yes, but it doesn’t mean that sometimes you didn’t resent it. When I say resent, it’s just sometimes I’d be like, ‘ oh, for God’s sake, you can’t, you know… do you need to sit on the sofa and sort of rest and watch the news and have ten minutes to yourself? Because I can’t do that. ‘

“And I think I’d be lying if I said: ‘ No, it’s fine, I took this on. ‘ And there were times when it was very difficult, but you eventually get over it.

Baby loss heartbreak

While Gordon and Tana are proud parents of six children, they tragically lost a third. Rocky was stillborn, Rocky’s mother had to give him to his mother at 20 weeks of gestation, with her partner by her side.

In a candid admission, Tana revealed that son Oscar, five, who was born three years later, often asks about his older “brother in the sky”. She revealed she harbors guilt over what transpired during a conversation with Lorraine Candy and Trish Halpin on the Postcards from Midlife podcast in July.

The 50-year-old questioned whether she could have “done something differently” while sharing that she and Gordon, 57, will never get over the heartbreak. “I still suffer so much guilt”, she said, before going on to ask whether she “should have known something”.

The mum-of-six added: “I still suffer so much guilt. Did I, should I have known something? Should I have done something differently? It’s one of those things where you can kind of just justify being okay on some days.

Tana went on to add: “Other days, for some reason, whether it’s because you’re overtired or something triggers you, I can have a day where I just feel really emotional. Knowing that a baby won’t last more than an hour makes it difficult to anticipate holding one. That is always gonna be something I can never, never get over”.

“Even Oscar now, he talks about Rocky, his brother in the sky or his star”, she said. She continued: “And he’ll come out with things like ‘ I really don’t like him being there. Why can’t he just come here? ‘ After I had Oscar, which had to be around three weeks old, one of the hardest times actually occurred. And I had a day where I felt so emotional. I believe it was because I had a new baby and didn’t feel enough of it. And that threw me, and Gordon warned me, “You’re always going to hit you like this right now, because we’ve been so trapped in this bubble.”

And then you suddenly realize that I had a bad time not sort of thought it through. You can never know what’s around the corner with grief, and we’ve never had anything like that. Although it was difficult for Gordon to reveal Rocky’s loss, Tana’s admission comes just one year later. On the seventh anniversary of Rocky’s death, Tana explained he had been born with a strong heartbeat but was sadly” too little to survive”.

Kendrick Lamar commanded one of the world’s most high-profile stages Sunday as the Super Bowl’s halftime headliner, yet another feather in the cap of the rap laureate&nbsp, who has ascended to new heights of pop stardom.

Lamar toyed with his audience, who had one big question: Would he perform “Not Like Us,” the searing diss track that served as the decisive blow in his eyebrow-raising rap battle with Drake?

In a word? Yes.

The Pulitzer Prize-winning rapper Lamar, who is the first solo rap artist to play a halftime show at the Super Bowl this year and saw the Philadelphia Eagles defeat the Kansas City Chiefs, uses his punchlines to accuse Drake of paedophilia in the highly infectious hit released in May 2024.

“I wanna perform their favourite song”, he said at one point during the 13-minute set — the Grammy-winning track’s ubiquitous, instantly recognizable bass line resounding — “but you know they love to sue”.

He started the set atop the Buick Grand National it’s named after before turning heads with fans with a knife-twisting rendition of “Not Like Us” and classics like “Humble” and “DNA” as well as tracks from his most recent album “GNX”

Lamar cut the profanity and the word “pedophile” but didn’t stop short of the money line, rapping “tryna strike a chord and it’s probably A-minoooooor” on live television in front of tens of thousands of spectators and an estimated 100 million viewers.

In delivering the lyric “say, Drake, I hear you like ‘ em young”, Lamar stared right into the camera, dancing on the Canadian rapper’s rap-battle grave while sporting a chain with a massive pendant — a lower-case a.

The performance is all but sure to kick off more legal wrangling: Drake, &nbsp, the reigning highest-grossing rapper, recently filed a bombshell defamation suit against his own record label Universal Music Group, which also represents Lamar.

Although Drake is notably suing UMG and not Lamar himself, questions persisted leading up to the Super Bowl about whether performing the song on one of the biggest international stages might lead to more legal action.

“Not Like Us” dominated the set but it was also a performance that paid homage to the 37-year-old rapper’s expansive oeuvre.

Lamar used the platform to make a more symbolic critique of the marginalized treatment of both hip-hop and Black Americans as a whole rather than directly mentioning Donald Trump, who had just begun his second year of presidency.

“No, no, no, no, noooo. Too loud, too reckless, too ghetto. Mr Lamar, do you really know how to play the game? The costumed Jackson jeered at one point as they “then tighten up”.

At one point, dancers dressed in red, white, and blue and formed a formation representing the American flag.

The artist brought SZA, who he is scheduled to tour with, onstage before his climactic rendition of “Not Like Us,” which just one week earned Lamar five Grammys.

Their duet included a performance of “All the Stars”, their hit off the “Black Panther” soundtrack.

Serena Williams, a tennis legend who also hails from Compton, made another notable comeo and is thought to have briefly dated Drake.

A protestor who raised a flag in support of Gaza and Sudan while performing on the set also punctuated the set, according to production company Roc Nation, who told AFP that the scene had not been practiced.

The NFL reported that the protestor was a member of the 400-person field cast and that “the person hid the item on his person and unveiled it late in the show.”

In AFP photos, the protestor was seen posing with the flag with the words “Gaza” and “Sudan” on top of Lamar’s center car.

After the reality star’s partner Curtis Pritchard showed an interest in co-star Danielle Sellers earlier in the series, Arabella Chi has since apologized for her pal Ekin-Su Cülcülolu’s actions on Love Island: All Stars. Arabella Chi was searching for The One for a second time inside the Love Island: All Stars villa just one year ago. The reality star is six months pregnant with her first child, and it’s obvious that a lot has changed since then.

“If you’d told me this time last year I’d be expecting a baby with the love of my life, I wouldn’t have believed it at all”, says Arabella, who met her businessman boyfriend, Billy Henty, last year following her stint on the ITV2 dating show. As she explains how she and Billy met, how they are getting ready for parenthood, and which famous friends have been giving her advice on labor, Arabella, 33, claims that everything was “meant to be”…

Hi Arabella! Do you feel prepared for your little girl’s arrival?

We are quite prepared. She already has a bigger wardrobe than I do because we’ve been sent so many clothes. But I don’t want to be over-ready. I’d rather not buy too much before she’s here. We only have a one-bedroom apartment
at the moment so we can’t have too much. Moving while pregnant would be too much, according to people who say being pregnant is enough stress. However, we are moving in the summer. The first few months the baby is with you]in the bedroom] anyway, so we’ll make do.

Do you have a labor plan in place?

I assumed I would definitely need an epidural, but I was quite regimented. Billy and I both agreed that they couldn’t possibly do it without one. But now my mind is slightly changing. Ferne [McCann] and I had lunch yesterday, and she’s been talking to me about using nothing and gas during natural births. So I’m going to see how it turns out and feel a lot more tolerant of it. I may have an epidural, but I don’t need one for nothing. We are designed to give birth, so I’m going to make every effort to give birth as naturally as possible.

Have you always wanted children?

Yes, I’ve always wanted kids and I feel like it’s just finding the right person. I’m 33 and will turn 34 next month, which puts a lot of pressure on older people. However, it was one of those situations where I didn’t want to rush into it until I met the right person. At the back of my mind, I thought, ‘ I do hope that I find that person. ‘ But if it didn’t happen, it didn’t happen. But I’m so lucky that it happened by chance.

What kind of father will Billy be?

We’ve got]King Charles spaniel] Astro so I’ve seen him become a father figure to Astro and how much he’s taken on that role. Even the smallest things have been amazing for him, like the fact that we always have to take him for walks during the nighttime, which is the most exhausting experience. But Billy will always do it and say, ‘ You stay warm in here, ‘ which is really nice. So, I can already see how amazing he’ll be as a dad.

How did you meet Billy?

On the night of my previous Say It With event [for the jewelry brand she is working with], I met my boyfriend. After the launch, I went out for a few drinks with him because he was a friend of mine, so we met up and the rest is history. It was intended to be.

You’re working with Say It With again for a new Mother’s Day collection. Tell us about that…

I met Billy after my first launch, so I’m really happy to be working with them again. I believe this brand has even more significance for me. Everyone is aware of my full-fledged jewelry girl, who constantly wears jewelry. Even now, I still have my full pair of earrings in despite a chilly day. The “Mummy” necklace is my favorite because I’ve always called my mother “Mummy,” and I can wear it on her or give it to her. My little girl would be a great addition to my nickname.

The collection marks your first Mother’s Day as a mum-to-be. Is that exciting?

Yes, I know I’m not a mum yet, so it’s not a proper Mother’s Day, but I still feel like I’m a mum even though she’s not born yet. I already feel like a mother because she’s growing inside of me and that I can feel her. I’m not sure I’ll get any Mother’s Day gifts this year though. Billy’s the type of guy who surprises me at random times.

Are you watching Love Island: All Stars?

Yes, even Billy is watching it. We’re obsessed. It’s really nice to watch it every night while nursing a baby inside my stomach. It’s crazy to think I was there last year. I’m good friends with Elma]Pazar] so I was really happy when Sammy]Root] came in for Elma – it’s exactly what she needed. She put a lot into Ronnie]Vint] but I actually think Sammy is a better match for her, so it’s all worked out really well. I’d love to see them win. We’ll definitely be going for a catch-up when she gets home. I know Ekin-Su]Cülcüloglu] really well too.

You’ve been in the villa with quite a few of the Islanders. Are they being themselves?

I spent my first series with Curtis [Pritchard] in the villa, and I believe he is being sincere because he admitted that he sometimes needs a test in there because he did when he said he was concerned about getting too excited about things with Ekin-Su. How is life in the All Stars Villa like?

It was very different from my first experience because I believed I had All Stars’ full experience, whereas in my previous series, I assumed I had just a few seconds to think everything was over. Even though I would never want to go back to those times, like being left alone in the fire pit, it is a part of what you sign up for because you will be tested there. It’s all part of the journey. Because you’ve already done it before, everyone on All Stars is really understanding and lovely, which makes it less iffy.
