Inside Anne Marie’s ‘hardest year’ as she stood by husband Slowthai who was cleared of rape

Anne-Marie and Slowthai, who are expecting their second child together, should celebrate.

The singer from 2002 shared a video of her blossoming baby bump as she sang Don’t Panic while breaking news on social media. Captioning the shock post, she wrote: “Surprise”. In response to the happy news, fans of Anne-Marie, 33, rushed to the comments section to show their support for the pair. “Omg!!!!! Congratulations”, wrote one. “Oh congratulations!! That’s amazing”!, another added.

Two months after Anne-Marie declared that she had had the “hardest year,” the surprise announcement was made. The Friends singer looked back on the turbulent past 12 months in a December Instagram post as she contemplated 2024.

“2024 the most beautiful yet hardest year of our lives. God is really trying to understand my strength, haha. You all are special to me, and I love you all the more than you will ever be. You’re probably going to be sick of me, so I have the best break possible, and see you soon, she wrote.

After declaring her love to Slowthai in 2023, the couple met and became parents, but it also produced more difficult circumstances. Slowthai was found not guilty of raping two fans in December 2024.

After more than ten hours of deliberation, jurors returned to the case on December 16 and he was cleared. His co-accused, Alex Blake-Walker, was also cleared of one count of sexual assault.

Following a two-week trial in which it was claimed that two defendants assaulted two women in the early hours of September 8, 2021, the jury returned their verdicts. As her partner arrived at court in November, Anne-Marie stood by his side and led a stand-in for the court.

The musician cried in the dock after being cleared of three counts of rape by jurors. Judge Ian Pringle KC claimed that the case “raised a lot of high feelings.” Relatives and friends of the accused, including Anne-Marie, sighed in relief as the verdicts were read out.

According to reports, the pair began dating in 2022, but they have a propensity to hide their relationship from public view. However, in February 2023 Slowthai spoke to Rolling Stone about how he and Anne-Marie were able to “talk and vent about stuff” together.

While he didn’t comment on the nature of their relationship, he added: “You either get on like a house on fire with some people, or you don’t. And some people feel like they’re part of the furniture, that they’ve always been around and known you”.

The Voice actress kissed her beau on the face in a video that was shared a month later on TikTok. The pair were rumored to have engaged or married in March 2024, and a source claimed to have secretly tied the knot two years prior.

“Anne-Marie and Slowthai got married in secret two years ago”, they alleged. She and her husband, who they married, took an eight-week break from their tour.

Last year the pair also welcomed their first child, Seven, into the world. Anne-Marie discussed the realities of being a working parent while reflecting on her decision to become a mother.

Being a mother means the hardest part of it all, according to the author. It’s the most challenging aspect of being a mother just by herself, in my opinion! There are so many people trying to make it appear so simple, but we are now peas in a pod. We’re doing it. She is so beautiful and so chunky and so perfect”, she wrote on Instagram in August.

Additionally, having the best summer performances has resulted in beautiful new memories made with everyone. Cannot wait for you to see what’s coming next”.

Inside Annie Marie and Slowthai’s romance as she announces pregnancy after ‘hardest year’

Chart-topping artist Anne-Marie is known for her discretion when it comes to her personal life, but the December 2024 rape trial of her husband, rapper Slowthai, thrust their relationship into the limelight.

Now the couple, who secretly tied the knot in 2022, have revealed they are expecting their second child together. Anne-Marie shared the news in a video on social media this evening that featured her singing Don’t Panic, which she shared a clip of.

She wrote in the caption: “Surprise”. Anne-Marie is already a parent to a one-year-old daughter with Slowthai. Slowthai, whose real name is Tyron Frampton, faced potential criminal charges for three counts of rape in 2024. After over 10 hours of deliberation, Oxford Crown Court cleared the Grammy-nominated star of all charges related to alleged incidents on September 8, 2021.

Anne-Marie discussed what she described as her “hardest year” on social media at the end of last year. “2024 the most beautiful yet hardest year of our lives. God is really trying to understand my strength, haha. You all are special to me, and I love you all the more than you will ever be. You’re probably going to be sick of me because I have so much to offer you in the new year. Take the best break possible and see you soon.

Here’s what we know about Anne-Marie and Slowthai’s love story as they prepare for the arrival of their second baby. The exact timeline of Anne-Marie and Slowthai’s relationship remains unclear, but it’s believed they started dating around mid-2022. Prior to his relationship with Anne-Marie, Frampton was engaged to model Katya Kischuk, with whom he shares a child, before they parted ways early in the same year.

The Mirror captured Anne-Marie and her boyfriend in May 2022 when John Legend performed an intimate set at Ronnie Scott’s jazz club. After being seen fighting with a bouncer before riding into a taxi together, the pair became more aware of their whereabouts.

Up until February 2023, fans were frightened of Anne-Marie’s relationship status with Slowthai. In an interview with Rolling Stone, Slowthai hinted at their closeness, admitting he spent loads of time in Essex, Anne-Marie’s stomping ground. He shared that they “talk and vent about stuff” and noted how being with Anne-Marie made him feel elated, saying: “You either get on like a house on fire with some people, or you don’t. And some people feel like they’re part of the furniture, that they’ve always been around and known you”.

Even so, this did not officially confirm their relationship. The following month, Anne-Marie released a TikTok video of them singing along to Slowthai’s song “Happy,” which definitively confirmed their romance.

The official announcement of their relationship sent fans into a frenzy, with the video racking up over 1.3 million views, 100, 000 likes and more than 1000 comments. Fans expressing their happiness and congratulations to the couple and Anne-Marie’s happiness for the most part received these. Despite the fact that Frampton was seen wearing a silver wedding band, many people became aware that the singer had been sporting a diamond ring on her ring finger.

In March of this year, they revealed their relationship and a potential wedding. The pair secretly exchanged vows in Las Vegas two years prior to Anne-Marie’s lengthy tour, according to an insider who spoke to The Sun.

“Anne-Marie and Slowthai got married in secret two years ago”, the source revealed to the newspaper. She and her husband, who they married, took an eight-week break from their tour. The couple tied the knot on July 26, 2022, just six days after getting married, according to the source.

Snapshots of Anne-Marie and Slow Thai taking a stroll with a baby buggy were only recently released via MailOnline after the couple’s secret engagement was revealed a few days later. A source disclosed, “Anne-Marie and Slow Thai have had a baby daughter they’ve named Seven”.

Further details emerged as they added: “It is Anne-Marie’s lucky number, and she even has 0707 tattooed on her because she sees them as her angel numbers”.

The couple’s surprise when they welcomed their first child was quite shocking, especially considering that rumors suggested the little one was already a month old, which implied Anne-Marie was skilled at hiding her pregnancy, to the point of performing during her “Unhealthy” tour while pregnant.

The news of Anne-Marie’s second pregnancy comes just days after she and Slow Thai celebrated their daughter’s first birthday. Alongside photos from the celebrations, she wrote in a post on Instagram on Monday: “Our baby is 1!! The most stunning souls are together for a year. I’m happy to see you have enjoyed your life so far. Our precious little book worm, you are so clever and funny. We are eager to share our lives with you for the rest of ours.

Jesy Nelson unveils huge new interior project ahead of giving birth to twins

As she prepares to welcome her twins, evading mother Jesy Nelson has begun a sizable home renovation project.

The 33 year old former Little Mix sensation announced last month that she and her on-again, off-again beau, Zion Foster, 26, are expecting two bundles of joy.

Taking to her Instagram Stories, the singer shared that the exciting refurbishment of her £3million Essex mansion – her home since 2019 – is underway, captioning her post: “House Reno has begun!! Preparing for the babies”. Jesy’s lavish abode features a huge modern kitchen, grand chandeliers, a cosy alcove log fireplace and an impressive collection of glittering awards.

Just last week, the star flaunted her growing baby bump during a romantic Valentine’s Day outing with her boyfriend. Following rumors about their closeness in 2022, the couple first revealed their relationship in January of 2023. After dating for 18 months, they split in August 2023 due to their age difference and contrasting mindsets. Jesy and Zion made hints about a potential reunion with a cozy pregnancy announcement photo despite their recent breakup five months ago.

The former X Factor sensation has been open about her challenging pregnancy symptoms. She admitted to a fan that she’s been dealing with “constant vomiting” because she had gotten twins. The star admitted: “I’ve been very sick where I’m having twins so constant vomiting 24/7. But other than that feeling very blessed”.

Jesy was shocked to learn that she was carrying twins despite being excited about the possibility of growing her family with Zion. During an Instagram Q&amp, A, a follower quizzed: “OMG! How are you? How did you discover that you were twins? Were you surprised”?

To which Jesy responded: “Very, very shocked… it wasn’t planned but I instantly felt happy as soon as I saw that I was”. The pop icon has been open about her journey to becoming a mother, and it’s been suggested that she might collaborate with ITV to create her own reality show to give viewers a firsthand look at her early years as a mother.

Love Island’s Samie Elilish fuels Grace Jackson feud rumours with bold statement

Former islander Samie Elishi has made a bold statement about her feud with runner-up Grace Jackson following the ITV All Stars final on Monday, and viewers are wondering if this is the start of another celebrity conflict.

Samie Elishi set her sights on Luca Bish, who was duo with Grace, when she appeared in Love Island: All Stars this year as a late bombshell, shocking the cast and causing a stir. In the end, Lucia made the decision to stay with Grace Jackson, but the drama continued as Samie weighed in on Olivia Hawkins’ claims that she had received alleged texts from Grace and said she would do anything to win.

Samie unfollowed Grace on Instagram, making a bold move in the process. Grace has done the same despite Samie still following her partner Luca, making it clear that they are not going to be friends any time soon.

Samie Elishi eluded Luca (ITV) in search of her.

The pair’s time was rocky in the Love Island villa, with both Samie and Grace competing for Luca’s affections. While they worked through their issues on the show, Kaz Crossley came under fire for it during the final dumping, telling Grace that Luca had mentioned Samie throughout his stay in the villa.

On the Love Island: The Morning After podcast, Samie said after leaving the show: “So I had a conversation with Grace and we were fine. But it was obviously just unbearably uncomfortable throughout. She explained that she was in good terms with “all the girls to be fair,” but that she “didn’t really gel with one to one,” which was Grace, in her friendships with the other islanders. For obvious reasons”.

Samie continued, “There were slim pickings,” noting that she was only ever interested in getting to know one boy. Upon reflection, Samie joked her favourite moment was choosing to throw a cream pie in Luca’s face during the Snog, Marry, Pie challenge. She named this as her “fab Love Island moment” on the podcast.

Olivia shared screenshots of messages allegedly from Grace in the Love Island dramas after the final on Monday, where she claimed she would do “whatever it takes to win” before entering the South African villa.

Samie took to Instagram to demand that trolls stop sending “disgusting messages” after Olivia made the claim, adding that she had also seen the screenshots.

Love Island host Caroline Flack passed away in 2020 after battling her mental health, according to Samie, who shared a photo of her. “People are very quick to forget that we are not fictional characters and you never know what’s going on inside someone’s head and what they are struggling with.

It’s not too late to apologize and retract your “heat of the moment” comments, saying that everyone who takes the time to send these offensive messages should be ashamed. Be a better person today. “
