It’s the legal battle that’s gripped Hollywood – and is showing no sign of abating.

In addition to making a number of outrageous and occasionally bizarre claims, Blake Lively has amended her lawsuit against her former on-screen partner and director Justin Baldini.

The pair starred together in hugely successful hit It Ends with Us before Lively, 37, accused Baldoni, 41, of sexual harassment. He countersued Lively and her husband Ryan Reynolds, 48, for £321million, accusing them of trying to destroy his reputation and career. Here we run through some of the latest accusations:

Talking to the dead

Baldoni upset Lively by claiming he could “talk to her dead father”, the lawsuit alleges. The lawsuit says: “For example, he claimed he could speak to the dead, and on several occasions told Ms. Lively that he had spoken to her recently-deceased father.

” On one occasion when he claimed to have spoken with Ms. Lively’s dead father (a person whom Mr. Baldoni had never met), Ms. Lively attempted to deflect the comment with humor, telling Mr. Baldoni: “let him know he owes me 40 bucks”. Mr. Baldoni replied, “Wait, does he really”?

“Ms. Lively was shocked that Mr. Baldoni was pushing the conversation further, and replied with another attempt at humorous deflection, stating”, Oh god no. He owes me a lot more than that. “Mr. Baldoni then closed his eyes, put his hand on his heart, and said”, I was leaving my apartment this morning, and I reached into my pocket… and there was $40 dollars in there, that I did not put there. “This exchange deeply disturbed Ms. Lively, and it was not (as Defendants have since claimed) limited to Mr. Baldoni simply claiming to pray for her father”.

‘ Alarming ‘ car ride

Lively alleges she was left “alarmed” by his comments about sexual consent. The lawsuit states: “During a car ride with Ms. Lively, her assistant, and driver, Mr. Baldoni claimed to Ms. Lively that he had been sexually abused by a former girlfriend (which he has since shared publicly).

” At the end this story, Mr. Baldoni shared that it had caused him to reexamine his past. He then said: “Did I always ask for consent? No. When they told me no, did I always pay attention? No”. This is an illustration of how we all have resources to learn and develop, according to Mr. Baldoni.

“Ms. Lively was alarmed by Mr. Baldoni’s suggestion that he had engaged in sexual conduct without consent. Her driver immediately said he didn’t want Ms. Lively to be by herself with Mr. Baldoni and that she shouldn’t continue driving.

Lively claims the legal battle with Baldoni left her with “extreme anxiety” and “traumatized” her children. “The emotional impact on Ms. Lively has been extreme, not only affecting her, but her family, including her husband and four children. She frequently chooses not to venture outside in public on days when she has struggled to get out of bed.

While she has fought to maintain her personal life and business interests, behind closed doors she has suffered from grief, fear, trauma, and extreme anxiety. This experience has also caused her to have painful physical symptoms repeatedly.

” Mr. Reynolds, too, has been affected mentally, physically, and professionally by his wife’s and children’s pain, “the complaint continues”. Worst of all, however, has been the impact on their young children, who have been traumatized and emotionally uprooted in ways that have substantially impacted their well-being. “

Invasive sex chat

Lively claims that Baldoni quizzed, in excruciating detail, about her sex-life with movie star husband Ryan Reynolds. He attempted to include a graphic sex scene in the movie without her consent.

The lawsuit states:” After Ms. Lively signed onto the movie based on a draft of the script, Mr. Baldoni, without Ms. Lively’s knowledge or consent, personally added graphic content, including a scene in which Ms. Lively was to orgasm on-camera.

“When Ms. Lively objected to these additions, Mr. Baldoni insisted he had added them because he was making the Film” through the female gaze. He said he made a last-ditch effort to keep one of the scenes where the couple orgasm on their wedding night because he and his partner climaxes at the same time during sexual activity. “He made an effort to keep it that way. Mr. Baldoni then obfuscated and indecently inquired about Ms. Lively’s claim that she and her husband climaxed at the same time during sexual activity.

Others to come forward?

In a Hollywood sexual harassment case, Lively claims two more actresses are scheduled to testify against Baldoni. According to the updated lawsuit, Lively texted a woman in May 2023 to say, “I was gonna invite you to set tomorrow. These people. Whoa? It’s like HR nuts today. The both of them. I came home and cried”.

Lively later describes Baldoni and producer Jamey Heath in a text as “creeps”, adding: “Keep your hormones to yourselves. I don’t want you]sic] gaze or words or tongue or videos of your naked wife”. According to reports, Lively allegedly gave Sony, a film company, her concerns at the time.
According to Baldoni, Lively and another woman were called “sexy.” Sony is alleged to have been informed of that as well.

What does Baldoni’s camp say?

The lawsuit, according to his attorney, is “filled with unsubstantial hearsay of unnamed individuals who are obviously no longer willing to come forward or publicly support her claims,” according to Freedman. He continues, “My clients — Baldoni, his publicists, and Wayfarer Studios have been transparent in providing receipts, real-time documents, and video that show a completely different story than what has been manipulated and cherry-picked to the media,” according to him.

Freedman also criticised Lively and Reynolds for their comments on their Saturday Night Live 50th anniversary special last weekend, which made fun of the saga. Despite the jokes the plaintiff and her husband made in front of the public, our clients have taken this matter and these issues very seriously. Freedman said. The upcoming depositions of those who initially supported Ms. Lively’s false claims and those who are witnesses to her own behavior will be enlightening, he added. What is truly uncomfortable here is Ms. Lively’s lack of actual evidence”.

A new bronze statue of the villainous Feathers McGraw has been unveiled in Preston, standing near his long-time rivals, Wallace and Gromit.

The Wrong Trousers, an Oscar-winning short film about a criminal penguin posing as a chicken, starred the character in his return as a character in the new movie that debuted on Christmas Day 2024.

Crowds gathered to watch Nick Park, the Preston-born creator of the beloved animation series, reveal the 4ft-high sculpture. The event was met with cheers—and a few playful boos. One onlooker even shouted, “Arrest that chicken”!, referencing Feathers ‘ infamous disguise.

Feathers made a comeback with Vengeance Most Fowl, and he has since received Academy Award nominations for Best Animated Feature. The statue was unveiled outside Animate, Preston’s new £45 million entertainment complex, which features an eight-screen Arc Cinema, a Hollywood Bowl with 16 lanes, and several restaurants.

Park and Preston Mayor Philip Crowe were present at the official opening. Park said, “As a proud Prestonian, I couldn’t be more ‘ egg-cited ‘ to see Feathers McGraw joining Wallace and Gromit in my hometown. I’m not sure how happy Wallace and Gromit will be, though, to have their arch-nemesis a little too close for comfort”.

Feathers McGraw’s statue now stands near Wallace and Gromit’s existing bronze bench at Preston Markets, which Park unveiled in 2021. Councillor Matthew Brown, leader of Preston City Council, called the new statue “a fantastic complement” to the Wallace and Gromit bench, noting how popular it has been with visitors.

Park’s Aardman Animations has won four Oscars, including Best Animated Short Film for The Wrong Trousers and A Close Shave, as well as Best Animated Feature for Wallace &amp, Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit.

Wallace &amp, Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl, which was a festive hit as it aired over Christmas, has been nominated for several major awards including Best Animated Feature at the Academy Awards. It also received awards for Best Children’s and Family Film and Best Animated Film in three other categories at the BAFTA Film Awards.

Meanwhile, their old nemesis from The Wrong Trousers, Feathers McGraw, plots revenge and aims to thwart Wallace and Gromit’s plans as they launch a new business venture.

The movie was the first Wallace and Gromit film in 16 years, and it also was the first one without Peter Sallis, the actor who was Wallace’s original voice. After Sallis’ declining health made acting more challenging, Ben Whitehead assumed the role in the 2010s. Since then, he has since voiced Wallace in shorts, plays, and features. Sadly, Peter the actor passed away in 2017.

Nick Park had previously expressed the challenges of creating a Wallace and Gromit film without Sallis, and in the lead-up to the release of Vengeance Most Fowl, Park reflected to the BBC: “It has been quite emotional (doing this production) since we lost Peter, he was such an original, unique voice”.

“So it’s very hard for anyone to step into his shoes. However, we have a young actor who is capable of performing fantastic Wallace impersonations and who we have known for many years. He’s stepped in very kindly, and is just great. It’s hard to tell them apart”.

Ciaran Davies, a Love Island star, has revealed the motivation behind his decision to start cooking his own meals in the villa after being astonished by the catering.

Although there were cameras on them 24/7, it was obvious that a significant portion of the day was wasted, including their meal times, because Ciaran starred alongside Nicole Samuel in season 11 and the pair finished the show in the end.

The Welsh star, who spoke exclusively on the Daily Mirror’s Bombshell Briefing podcast, shared some interesting inside-the-scenes details, including the odd meals the Islanders were served.

The self-proclaimed foodie claimed the catering made him feel “shocked” and that they would receive breakfast items like chicken korma or roast dinners. Although I’m very passionate about my food, it wasn’t pleasant to wake up and have a Chicken Korma an hour later.

Although it’s a long way from the typical breakfast of bacon and cereal, the Islanders were at least satisfied before attempting to find love. He continued, saying that while breakfast isn’t typically served, you might find yourself getting a Sunday roast half an hour after awakening. In Michael McIntyre’s Big Show, Holly Willoughby and her first love are back together, but the former This Morning star was embarrassed by it.

Holly became enraged when Michael interviewed Oliver Oliver, a former lover of hers, in front of the audience. She squealed “Oh God!” as Michael inquired about Oliver’s possessions of memorabilia and keepsakes from their romance. before Oliver replied: “It’s funny you should ask that”, and produced a letter from his pocket.

“Oh my god, what is that”? asked Holly, and Oliver responded, “This is pure coincidence, but my mother has had this, and she sent it to me about six months ago.” It’s a letter from you, Holly, to me”. Then, in the episode that will be broadcast on Saturday, February 22nd, Michael asked Holly to read the letter aloud to the live audience.

“Dear Oliver, how are you. Enjoy your vacation and avoid getting brown (if you can). What about the picture of the naked woman Hannah was mentioning to me and I love you hope you love me. Love Holly”. At the bottom of the page, there was what appeared to be a lipstick kiss.

Reading it out, Holly cringed and said, “this is so embarrassing”, then held her head in her hands. She continued, “It looks like I wiped my mouth with it,” referring to the final kiss.

It’s not the first time Holly has fallen victim to Michael McIntyre’s sense of humour. She gave him her phone during the “Send to All” segment of the fourth season of Big Show in 2018, and he sent an embarrassing text to all of her contacts.

The message read: “As you know, I am a global style icon. I saw you while watching a feature on This Morning where I assist people who have no sense of fashion. What did you wear when you last saw me that was hideous? I’m hoping you won’t be offended, but could you bring some of your outfits in for Phil and I to laugh at? In return you’ll get a whole new wardrobe. What do you say? Need to know ASAP. Love Holly xxx”

In a recent interview, Robert De Niro addressed parenting issues ahead of his daughter’s second birthday.

Robert, now 81, has seven children after having welcomed his youngest, Gia, who turns two in April, in 2023. Since then, he has shared his partner Tiffany Chen, 45, with him as the parent of the young child.

He appeared as a guest on this morning’s BBC Radio 2’s Breakfast Show to share another update on his life. The actor, who is currently promoting his new Netflix series Zero Day, spoke with radio host Scott Mills, 51, about his daughter Gia.

Robert – known for films like The Godfather Part II (1974) and Taxi Driver (1976) – revealed in the interview that he doesn’t watch as many films as he “should”. He went on to tease that he watches children’s shows with Gia though.

Asked what he watches at home, the actor told host Scott: “I don’t watch as many movies as I should. I try to watch movies, especially those that are told… I just wanna keep up, but I watch current events if you will, news, stuff like that. Now I watch with my little girl… the Wiggles and Ms Rachel”.

Scott then asked about his knowledge of other kids shows, saying: “Do you know about Bluey”? Robert replied: “No. I’ll look up… I’ll look for them”. Please, please, please, please, please write this down because it might alter your attention span. Do you know what I’m saying? Bluey and Hey Duggee”.

Robert responded: “Bluey and Hey Duggee, okay”. He then went on to say, “My daughter loves to watch the Wiggles and Ms. Rachel, and I didn’t know about them until I started seeing them.” He later went on to add about the Wiggles: “They’re great. Got lots of energy, they’re terrific”.

Robert spoke with the Times about having a toddler in an interview last month. He teased that he doesn’t change nappies any more in the interview, but he now finds himself watching Gia, the creator of content, with Ms. Rachel.

He told the outlet that he’s an “early riser” and said about his youngest daughter: “I spend my mornings watching Ms Rachel with her, and I give her her bottle”. Asked if he’s a nappy changer, he commented: “No, no, but I used to”.

Gia is the youngest of Robert’s seven children. He’s also a parent to Drena, 53, and Raphael, 48, whom he had with his first wife Diahnne Abbott, 79. He later welcomed twins Julian and Aaron, 29, with his ex Toukie Smith, 72. He shares kids Elliot, 26, and Helen, 13, with their mother Grace Hightower, 69.
