The Kardashians have thrown their support behind Hailey Bieber after her husband, Justin Bieber, admitted he once told his wife she would never be on the cover of Vogue. The Sorry star, 31, made the revelation after Hailey bagged her first cover of the iconic magazine, which is available to buy now.

After posting her proud photo on Instagram in which the mum-of-one, 28, poses to perfection wearing an open striped shirt, no underwear and slicked back hair, Hailey was met with a wave of approval by her Kardashian friends. Kim told the daughter of actor Stephen Baldwin she was “obsessed” and that she looked “so beautiful”. Meanwhile, Kylie Jenner replied: “SO beautiful” while Kendall Jenner and Kourtney Kardashian both liked the post.

Justin, who recently rocked up at an ice hockey game with Hailey in Canada, has been slammed after admitting to his cruel comment after he revealed how he told his wife and mum of his son, Jack Blues, that she would never grace the cover of Vogue during a heated argument.

Responding to her cover shot for the US edition of the magazine on Instagram, he mused: “‘Yo, this reminds me when Hailey and I got into a huge fight, I told Hails that she would never be on the cover of Vogue. Yikes, I know, so mean. For some reason because I felt so disrespected, I thought I gotta get even.

“Think as we mature we realise that we’re not helping anything by getting even, we’re honestly just prolonging what we really want which is intimacy and connection.”

He concluded his post by writing a message directly to Hailey, which read: “So baby u already know but forgive me for saying u wouldn’t get a Vogue cover cuz clearly I was sadly mistaken.”

Following his reaction, many of the singer’s fans called him out for divulging such ‘unnecessary information’. One replied: “It’s okay to have secrets Justin,” as another wrote: “You couldn’t waterboard this information out of me lmao.”

Meanwhile, a third urged: “Why would you write something like that… put that phone down please.”

Others criticised him for accidentally writing ‘sadly mistaken’ rather than ‘happily’ mistaken, since Justin presumably meant to congratulate ‘Hails’ on the achievement.

Despite the singer’s awkward response to his wife bagging her first Vogue cover, Justin did praise Hailey in an interview with the magazine.

The Baby star, who has concerned fans recently with his dishevelled appearance amid rumours he and Hailey may be headed for divorce, said: “I’ve done a lot of dumb things in my life, but the smartest thing I’ve ever done was marry Hailey.”

The Canadian star also shared he loves family life with the couple’s son, gushing: “I’m walking in the days I always dreamed of.”

Giving her take on the couple’s relationship, Hailey insisted they were still very much together, but admitted the constant chatter about them was ‘exhausting’, saying: “And to be doing that all the while going on the internet every day and people being like, They’re getting divorced and They’re this and They’re not happy: It is such a mindf***. I cannot even begin to explain it. It’s a crazy life to live.

George Wendt’s Cheers co-stars lead tributes to ‘hilarious’ actor after tragic death

George Wendt’s heartbroken Cheers co-stars have paid tribute after the legendary sitcom actor sadly died aged 76 at his home earlier this week

Actor George Wendt’s death prompted an outpouring of grief and remembrance from colleagues and friends, led by his longtime Cheers co-stars, who described the Norm Peterson actor as a gifted performer, a generous friend, and a gentle soul

The 76-year-old died peacefully in his sleep at his home, his family confirmed. Wendt’s death prompted an outpouring of grief and remembrance from colleagues and friends, led by his longtime Cheers co-stars, who described him as a gifted performer, a generous friend, and a gentle soul.

Ted Danson, who starred as bartender Sam Malone throughout all 11 seasons of the sitcom from 1982 to 1993, spoke of his devastation. “I am devastated to hear that Georgie is no longer with us. I am sending all my love to Bernadette and the children. It is going to take me a long time to get used to this. I love you, Georgie,” Danson said.

Wendt’s portrayal of Norm – the laid-back, beer-loving accountant who always occupied the same stool at the bar- became one of the most recognisable and endearing characters in US television history. The moment he walked through the door, greeted by the resounding call of “Norm” from everyone inside, became a defining hallmark of the show’s appeal.

John Ratzenberger, who played Norm’s best friend and bar regular Cliff Clavin, also reflected on the deep camaraderie the two shared, both on screen and off. “For 11 years on Cheers, we shared a stage, a lot of laughs and a front-row seat to one of television’s most beloved friendships. George brought Norm to life with a subtle brilliance – the kind that made it look easy. That was his gift,” Ratzenberger said.

“He was a true craftsman – humble, hilarious and full of heart. What you saw on screen was exactly who he was off screen with impeccable comedic timing and a deep loyalty to those he loved,” he added. “I’ll miss our conversations and the quiet moments of friendship that meant the most. My thoughts are with his wife Bernadette, their children, and everyone who loved him.”

Tributes from the Cheers cast quickly rolled in, with John Ratzenberger, who played postal worker Cliff Clavin, also sharing that he was “heartbroken” to hear about Wendt’s death(Image: Getty Images)

Rhea Perlman, who played the wisecracking waitress Carla Tortelli, described Wendt as “the sweetest, kindest man I ever met.” “It was impossible not to like him,” Perlman said. “As Carla, I was often standing next to him, as Norm always took the same seat at the end of the bar, which made it easy to grab him and beat the crap out of him at least once a week. I loved doing it, and he loved pretending it didn’t hurt. What a guy! I’ll miss him more than words can say.”

Wendt’s character Norm was a constant throughout Cheers’ 11-year run and appeared in every single episode alongside Danson and Perlman. Norm’s sardonic humour, world-weary wisdom, and bottomless beer mug endeared him to audiences across generations.

Wendt received six consecutive Emmy nominations for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series for the role. Beyond the cast, his passing was also marked by tributes from Boston itself, particularly the Bull & Finch Pub, the real-life bar that inspired the fictional setting of Cheers.

Located in Boston’s Beacon Hill neighbourhood, the pub became a pilgrimage site for show fans and eventually adopted the Cheers name in its signage and branding.

On Tuesday, staff at Cheers Boston paid a quiet tribute by reserving Norm’s seat at the bar and placing a cold glass of beer in front of it – Norm’s drink of choice. A small sign was added to mark the seat in Wendt’s honour.

Fans gathered outside the pub to take photos, leave flowers, and share stories of how Norm had brought laughter and comfort to their lives. Inside, the bar played reruns of Cheers, filling the room with familiar laughter and fond memories.

Michael B Tretow dead: ABBA icon dies as band issues tearful tribute

Following the passing of their sound engineer, ABBA are currently in mourning. Michael B. Tretow’s family has confirmed that he passed away at the age of 80.

He was a master of Swedish music, the sound engineer for ABBA, and a musician by profession. The Eurovision legends’ four members have now made extraordinary tributes to Michael in rare statements.

You were more important to us four in ABBA than anyone else, according to Benny Andersson. I sincerely hope and think that you have experienced it throughout the years since we last worked in the studio and have laughed ever since. You are the one who created our music that is timeless, it seems, and our music lives on. You created so much joy and inspiration. the world’s best sound engineer, as well. You’re missing me. And I’ve saved all of your coconuts, too”!

Meanwhile, Bjorn Ulvaeus continued, “His significance for ABBA cannot be overestimated.” He was a friendly, kind, and generous person. “Thanks, Micke, for all the laughs”! No one else quite lived up to the challenge of your endless creativity, warmth, and joy, and Anni-Frid Lyngstad said in a statement to Aftonbladet: “You were the security in our little studio bubble as well as you! You will always be remembered and forever a part of the ABBA sound, according to us.

Some of ABBA’s biggest hits were the product of Michael (Getty Images)‘s master plan (Getty Images).

Agnetha Fältskog paid tribute, saying, “You were so ill, but your laughter and humor were still present.” Your encouraging words during the recording process were so important because so many memories are preserved. We’re sad to learn that a gifted and unique individual has left us. Micke, rest assured that you will forever be in our hearts.

Among the many ABBA tracks Tretow produced, among others, were Ring-Ring, Waterloo, and Super Trouper, according to an article about his production style on the Mixdown website. The heavy drum mixing used in all those songs was a common feature.

Michael would only mic the toms and bass drums, assuming the cymbals would overpower the other half of the arrangement in order to avoid overpowering the brief and quaint vocal lines. Michael became one of the first engineers to use C414 condensers, which was unusual at the time, to record the grand piano. The arrangement of these three piano lines gives songs like Mamma Mia and S. O. a unique twist while the rest of ABBA’s music is some of the most recognizable. and the Ring Ring.

The Swedish Herald, which published his passing late on Tuesday night, highlighted how Björn Ulvaeus and Benny Andersson allowed him to work as Abba’s sound engineer when Tretow was a sound engineer at Metronome Studio in the 1970s.

He is credited with creating the classic Abba sound after working on all of Abba’s albums, with the exception of “Voyage” from 2021. The four Abba members are likely to reunite again after his death, though this time for very sad reasons, if they all attend his funeral.

Although they rarely get to take pictures together, they did posing at the beginning of their Abba voyage concert experience in 2022. Additionally, people have shared their condolences on social media, with one posting: “Oh no, that is so sad, my sincere condolences to his family and friends, gosh he was so important in the creative world of Abba. sad news

He was incredibly the fifth ABBA member, and I’m so sorry. A third wrote, “Aww, so sad… May God bless his family and friends because I found him to be very likeable when I watched ABBA videos, etc.

Rasmus Tretow, Michael’s son, and Malin Hertzman, his wife, are his companions.

Nicola Peltz branded ‘very mean girl’ amid ongoing Beckham family drama

In a furious rant, actress Bella Thorne appeared to be angry with Nicola Peltz years prior to their feud with Brooklyn Beckham’s well-known family.

Bella Thorne appears to have hit out at “very mean girl”, Nicola Peltz in a scathing outburst. In recent weeks, Nicola’s alleged behaviour has become the topic of conversation due to her strained relationship with her husband, Brooklyn Beckham’s famous family.

However, actress Bella criticized a “mean girl” billionaire in 2015, and it has been suggested that Nicola, a socialite, was the subject of her remark. Bella, 27, made the most of who she could have been talking about after her rather obscene comments.

There had been speculation that she may have been talking about reality stars Kendall and Kylie Jenner, as well as their friend Gigi Hadid. At the time of her comments, Bella said she stayed away from the billionaire “at all costs” and said she “hated” the woman, not because of her wealth, but because of her attitude.

The actress claimed that because she is a billionaire, she doesn’t hate her. She continued, “She is a billionaire and makes sure everyone knows who she is,” adding, “I don’t like her. Bella continued, “I never say hello to her.” Her siblings don’t treat her similarly. She is the only one.

She stated to HuffPostLive, “One of the reasons I dislike her is because she’s been a billionaire since she was a young child, and she’s never had to work for anything in her life.” Nicola also has a sister and six brothers. Additionally, Nelson Peltz’s previous marriages resulted in her having two half-siblings.

Peltz’s father is a billionaire investor who initially started his career as a delivery truck driver before working his way up the ladder and launching one of the biggest food distribution companies in the world. His estimated net worth is believed to be around $1.6 billion, while her mother, Claudia Heffner Peltz, is also a former model.

In addition to owning a sizable estate in Florida, the Peltz family also owns a sizable estate in Bedford, New York. In the independent film Affluenza, Nicola and Greg Sulkin first made the comments in 2015. There was rife of speculating at the time of her remarks regarding the billionaire’s identity.

One social media user wrote, “If I had to pick one girl, I’d put my bet on Nicola Peltz,” “Bella might not have been singling out one.” She starred in a movie with her current boyfriend Gregg, and she literally comes from a billionaire family. She is also an actress who is around the same age as Bella.

The girl she was referring to is Nicola Peltz from Transformers’ Bates Motel, she added. Nicola, who was born wealthy, is now working in the Hollywood sector. They haven’t stopped mumbling about one another since a long time ago. Although she is close to Will Peltz (her brother), she still doesn’t like Nicola, despite her belief that her siblings are good.

A third person said, “She’s talking about Nicola Pelt lmao.” It is thought that Nicola and her famous in-laws are at odds with one another. Nicola and Brooklyn flew into London earlier this month to celebrate David Beckham’s 50th birthday, but they ultimately were unable to make it to any of the festivities.

A source close to Nicola, however, rejected claims that she had been controlling her husband. Speaking to the Mirror, a pal said: “We are at this point because Nicola, an outsider coming into the Beckham family, has been able to help Brooklyn see the emotional abuse and toxic behavior within his family, that it’s not healthy and it’s not normal and it’s not ok.”

However, a source close to the Beckham family disputed the allegations and called it a “deeply unpleasant attack.” They claimed that because it is so absurd and patently false, it doesn’t even warrant a response.

Bella’s spokesperson was contacted by The Mirror for comment.

Ian Smith, best known to millions as Harold Bishop from Neighbours, has opened up about his ongoing battle with cancer and how he’s surprising even his doctors.

The 86-year-old Australian actor, who was diagnosed with a condition that initially gave him little hope, made an appearance on The Morning Show on Channel Seven this week to offer fans an upbeat update on his condition. “I have cancer,” I said. Because doctors tell me I have, I am aware of that. But there is no pain aside from that. Smith revealed that I was supposed to pass away in March. Seriously, I’m having the easiest ride.

Smith was discovered to have the rare and aggressive lung cancer pulmonary pleomorphic carcinoma in December. His prognosis was grim, and doctors initially described the illness as “non-fixable.” He has defied all expectations, however, having been placed on an experimental treatment regimen that he humorously described as “being a “guinea pig.” He smiled and said, “I want to go forever.” “I don’t want to stop acting, but I don’t want to play Harold anymore.”

Smith claims that the treatment has given rise to an unanticipated twist despite the seriousness of the diagnosis. I may not have ever felt better. Everyone says, “Look at your hair, everyone,” he said in a laugh as he looked at me. They all seem jealous that my hair is so thick. After the treatment, I began to lose my hair completely, going bald. After that, I started receiving immunotherapy and had “curly hair” on my head.

He shares that he now anticipates “a year, maybe two” more of life than doctors initially had. He is both realistic and optimistic. The veteran performer insists he isn’t stepping away from the art that has shaped his life, despite leaving Neighbours. He acknowledged that he was not cured. “But I’m here. And I’m fine, too.

His final appearance on the renowned Aussie soap was deeply emotional. Harold announced his intention to relocate to Port Douglas, Queensland, moving in a heartfelt farewell, which brought long-suffering fans to tears. In those final scenes, Smith said the scene became even more poignant because of the presence of his fellow cast members. He shared, “I love them all very much. They “resemble family,” they say.

In 1987, Smith began playing Harold, who became one of the show’s most beloved characters known for his warmth, resilience, and memorable appearances following dramatic disappearances.

Now, in real life, Smith is living a storyline even soap writers couldn’t dream up. In a recent interview with BBC Radio 5 Live, he spoke candidly about how far he’s come since doctors first gave him just months to live. “I’ve got cancer, yes, I’m going to die soon but I seem to be defying the odds, which is good,” he said.

Following three rounds of treatment, including immunotherapy and chemotherapy, Smith revealed to TV Week that his tumor had started to shrink back in January. His quiet determination is fueled by this advancement.

He said, “I’ve been reborn.” And I still have stories to tell.
