The former Spice Girl’s luxury beauty brand has launched its first-ever foundation and there are 19 shades to choose from

Victoria Beckham Beauty recently dropped a new makeup product that’s ideal for those wanting a ‘flawless’ base. Adding to her extensive line of premium beauty buys, the former Spice Girl singer has collaborated with renowned skincare brand Augustinus Bader to release her first-ever foundation.

The new Foundation Drops with TFC8 from Victoria Beckham Beauty come in 19 shades that cost £104 on the website. Described as a minimalist formula, this foundation promises to deliver breathable coverage that’s as light as a serum, for a natural-feel finish.

Victoria can be seen promoting the buildable foundation in a video that was shared to her Instagram page last week. The 51-year-old fashion designer spoke about struggling with ‘bad acne’ as she applied her new beauty buy in front of the camera.

Hundreds of major actors and filmmakers have signed a pledge stating that they won’t work with Israeli film institutions “implicated in genocide and apartheid” against Palestinians

Ayo Edebiri, Olivia Coleman, Tilda Swinton, Joe Alwyn and Aimee Lou Wood are among hundreds of famous names who have signed a pledge against working with Israeli film groups.

On September 8, over 1300 filmmakers, including BAFTA, Emmy, Cannes and Venice Film award winners, launched a pledge against working with Israeli film institutions “implicated in genocide and apartheid against the Palestinian people.”

The pledge states: “As filmmakers, actors, film industry workers, and institutions, we recognize the power of cinema to shape perceptions. In this urgent moment of crisis, where many of our governments are enabling the carnage in Gaza, we must do everything we can to address complicity in that unrelenting horror.”

It commits its signatories not to screen films, appear at or otherwise work with Israeli film institutions that they consider complicit, which includes festivals, cinemas, broadcasters and production companies.

According to the pledge, examples of complicity include “whitewashing or justifying genocide and apartheid, and/or partnering with the government committing them.”

It comes as a response to calls from Palestinian filmmakers “who have urged the international film industry to refuse silence, racism, and dehumanization, as well as to ‘do everything humanly possible’ to end complicity in their oppression.”

In August, Variety reported that a group of almost 70 Palestinian filmmakers signed a letter in which they accused Hollywood of “dehumanising” Palestinians and called on their international colleagues in the film industry “to speak out against this genocide”.

The pledge was published by Film Workers for Palestine and claims to draw inspiration from Filmmakers United Against Apartheid, which was founded in 1987 to demand that the US film industry refuse to distribute films to apartheid South Africa.

Screenwriter and director David Farr, who was among the signatories, said: “As the descendant of Holocaust survivors, I am distressed and enraged by the actions of the Israeli state, which has for decades enforced an apartheid system on the Palestinian people whose land they have taken, and which is now perpetuating genocide and ethnic cleansing in Gaza. In this context I cannot support my work being published or performed in Israel.”

This comes after the UK government has concluded that Israel is not committing genocide in Gaza, according to a government letter. This is despite Israel being widely accused of the crime, including by the world’s leading association of genocide scholars.

Reuters reports that over 64,000 Palestinians have been killed since the start of the war, according to officials. As reported by Al Jazeera, more than 18,000 have been children.

Kristyan Benedict, Crisis Response Manager for Amnesty International, a global human rights organisation which concluded that Israel is committing genocide in Gaza last year, has criticised the UK’s conclusion as “a cynical misrepresentation of what the International Court of Justice ruled in 2024”.

In 2024, the International Court of Justice (ICJ) ruled that the claim of genocide in Gaza was “plausible” and acknowledged that “the catastrophic humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip is at serious risk of deteriorating further before the Court renders its final judgment.”

Chatting to ET, she revealed her husband, an interior designer, brought her visions to life and these will be “sold with the house”.

In 2021, Trisha shared a video saying: “Me when I’m bored remembering I have a movie theatre in my house” as she strolled down the numerous stairs to the cinema, kitted out with leather seats, plush carpeting, and a massive screen. Gregg Wallace has responded to fan who has praised him for suing the BBC for sacking him from MasterChef.

The axed MasterChef host is launching legal action against the BBC. The presenter reportedly filed a lawsuit with the High Court on Tuesday which made a data protection claim against the BBC.

It comes just months after he was fired from MasterChef after a report into allegations of misconduct upheld 40 claims against him. The 60-year-old greengrocer presented the show for 21 years alongside John Torode before the hosting duo were sacked over inappropriate behaviour.

A report into Wallace’s behaviour on MasterChef commissioned by production company Banijay UK found earlier this year that 45 out of 83 allegations against him were substantiated. The upheld complaints related to sexual language and humour with a smaller number relating to him “being in a statement of undress” and one involved “unwanted physical contact”.

At the time, Wallace accepted that his humour was “inappropriate” on the show but believed himself to be a victim of “baseless and sensationalised” claims. He said in a social media post: “I will not go quietly. I will not be cancelled for convenience.”

Wallace is now reportedly seeking the release of hundreds of pages of secret documents to help clear his name. The BBC said in a statement to BBC News: “We have not been formally notified of any legal proceedings so at this stage we are unable to comment.”

Wallace’s co-star Torode was also fired after the report found that he had used a severely offensive racist term. Torode said that he has “no recollection” of the incident.

The former Masterchef star has now responded to fan on Instagram after the news. Wallace’s admirer has praised the TV star, admitting that they are glad he is suing the BBC.

“It’s great to see you are suing the BBC,” the fan wrote. Support in the workplace for neurodivergent people has to be upheld. On Tuesday, BBC director general Tim Davie defended the decision to air the current series of MasterChef, which features Wallace and Torode, to the UK Parliament’s Culture, Media and Sport Committee. He said that the “vast majority” of chefs on the series wanted it to air despite the duo presenting it.

“I think it was on judgment the right thing to do, but I understand that you could see both sides of the argument very clearly,” he said. “I think the consequences for the individuals who presented MasterChef have been very significant, they’re no longer working with the BBC, so there are those consequences.

“The other thing in my mind is people can choose to watch it or not, so there’s an element of trust in the audience.”

I Fought the Law star Sheridan Smith is said to no longer be friends with former Emmerdale cast member Charley Webb, whom she had been close pals with in recent years

TV star Sheridan Smith is said to no longer be friends with a fellow actor, with it claimed that they aren’t even speaking anymore. It’s reported that she “drifted apart” from former Emmerdale star Charley Webb despite having once been close pals.

Sheridan, 44, and Charley, 37, best known for her role as Debbie Dingle on Emmerdale, had been friends throughout 2023 and last year. They had enjoyed holidays and even spent last Christmas together with their respective children.

It’s however now been reported that their friendship quietly came to a “rather abrupt” end. Sheridan, who recently starred in ITV’s I Fought the Law, and Charley are said to have parted ways as friends earlier this year.

According to the Sun, it’s claimed that Sheridan and Charley are no longer speaking. Sources told the outlet that there was a shift in their relationship earlier this year and that Sheridan’s decision to move to Doncaster a few months ago resulted in the pals then “taking different paths”.

Charley is said to have been living with Sheridan after splitting from Matthew Wolfenden, with whom the former soap star shares her three children. A source said: “It was no secret that they had a very intense and fulfilling relationship, but then Sheridan decided to move house and Charley wasn’t really part of those plans.”

It’s claimed that Charley grew close to fellow actor Wallis Day around the same time and ended up “drifting apart” from Sheridan. The source said that the situation shocked friends because they had once been “inseparable”.

It’s reported that whilst Sheridan now lives up north, Charley is still “mostly” in London whilst auditioning for roles when not in Yorkshire with her kids. It’s said that she often enjoys nights out in the city in “contrast” to Sheridan’s life.

The source said: “It’s quite a stark contrast to Sheridan’s life now, she’s always so busy with work and raising her son.” They added that the Royle Family star has a “quiet life” with her family and is “really happy” being back up north.

It’s also reported that pals have questioned where a Pomeranian dog, who Sheridan and Charley are said to have got together, has gone. A source told the Sun: “The dog was always with Charley and also Sheridan – but no one has seen it for ages, they think he’s up in Doncaster with Sheridan.”

The source further teased to the outlet that Charley has some “exciting” auditions coming up. They however claimed that despite having the support of other loved ones, she won’t have Sheridan as her “cheerleader” anymore.

Fans had been given glimpses into Sheridan and Charley’s friendship over the years. It included the latter posting on Instagram about them enjoying a holiday abroad to Greece together during the summer last year.

More recently, they spent time together over Christmas. Charley shared various photos from the festivities, including one of herself with some of Sheridan’s family. Charley wrote: “Christmas 2024. Might have been one of my favourites.”

Media personality Katie Price took to her Instagram to share a devastating post about domestic abuse after she had been open about her own struggles in the past. Katie shared the post from Women’s Aid on her Instagram stories for World Suicide Prevention Day.

The post included the caption: “Today is #WorldSuicidePreventionDay and we wanted to recognise the hidden epidemic of violence against women that is only just starting to be recognised. Statistic: NPCC report from the Home Office.” The image also stated: “Did you know? That more survivors of domestic abuse died by suicide last year than were murdered by their partner”.

In a candid confession on Paul C. Brunson’s podcast, We Need To Talk, Katie reflected on her romantic relationships and how she was treated. “There was domestic abuse, gaslighting, narcissists and that’s all I was used to,” she shared.

Opening up on the impact it had on her life, she said: “When you are in them kinds of relationships and they isolate you, even from your family. If you want to see your family, they have to be there, won’t let you see your friends, put you down or ‘how long are you going to be’ and ‘where are you’.”

While on Paul C Brunson’s We Need to Talk podcast, he asked Katie if there was a relationship moment that she’s not yet unpacked in therapy. She replied: “Being strangled, spat on, my computer being completely smashed, holes being punched in the wall, the name calling, things like that.”

Katie was asked if she ever feared for her life, as she explained: “Yes, but I couldn’t leave because [the partners say] ‘I’m sorry. I’m so sorry. I’ll never do it again. I love you, and it’s always ‘you will never find anyone as good as me.

This follows after Katie has been showing off a worryingly slender appearance over recent months and she now fears her cancer may have returned.

The media personality had been diagnosed with a rare form of soft tissue cancer which was on her finger, called leiomyosarcoma. But after having it removed while being closely monitored by medical professionals over a period of six years, Katie was given the all clear.

However, over recent weeks, the TV personality has now expressed fears her cancer may have returned. Katie revealed she was getting it looked into before she said: “This better not be my bad news, and get bad results, because all this is happening, and then normally in my life something good happens and then something bad happens. Let’s hope it’s nothing bad.”
