This week, Victoria Beckham’s brand new Netflix documentary was announced, and the fashion designer has paid a subtle yet touching tribute to her husband David Beckham with a delicate piece of jewellery.

On the documentary poster, Victoria can be seen wearing two different bracelets, one of which is a white gold bracelet she welded to her wrist during a visit to Astrid & Miyu with David in 2023.

The pair, along with their daughter Harper, visited the Astrid & Miyu store in London and got matching ‘his and hers’ bracelets. Two years later, the bracelet seems to still be going strong on Victoria’s wrist.

Far from a high-end luxury piece, Victoria’s bracelet is surprisingly affordable. Her exact one is the Marylebone Chain Bracelet in Solid White Gold, priced at a reasonable £160. Worn front and centre on the poster, we love the subtle nod this bracelet gives to David.

Originally part of Astrid & Miyu’s viral welded bracelet service (loved by celebs including Holly Willoughby and Molly-Mae), this timeless piece has now been adapted for online shoppers with an added clasp, making it accessible for those who can’t make it to a welding service in-store.

Made from recycled 9k gold, the dainty yet durable chain has been designed to shine year-round, and is one of those pieces that goes with just about everything.

Welded jewellery has become one of the biggest accessory trends over recent years, thanks to its sentimental value. As they are permanently fastened to the wrist, they’re often chosen to mark important milestones, friendships, or relationships. And Astrid & Miyu were one of the first jewellery shops to put these permanent bracelets on the map.

Maura Higgins shuts down rumours she was turned away from NTAs afterparty

Love Island icon Maura Higgins hit out at rumours she was turned away from the National Television Awards’ afterparty, after reports claimed she was turned away by security

Maura Higgins has denied claims she was turned away from the National Television Awards’ swanky afterparty. On Wednesday evening, the UK’s biggest stars dressed to the nines as they celebrated the year’s best performances and incredible programmes.

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! won an award, which then saw Maura and Danny Jones together on stage for the first time since their shock kiss earlier this year. Following the glitzy night, it was reported the Love Island star was turned away from the NTAs bash.

A publication shared TikTok video making the claims, titling the clip: “Maura Higgins left raging as she’s turned away from celeb-packed NTA afterparty.”

Defending Maura, someone wrote: “Security or the person at the door wanting to be mean. Happens a lot. The title should be mismanagement at the NTAs After Party, disrespecting a guest. @Maura Higgins doesn’t matter if she was invited. She was on stage and part of it.” Maura saw the video and wrote: “It’s all lies, I left after the ceremony.”

In an Instagram Stories post, Maura said: “Here we go again!!!! I had a fantastic night, won an award, drank water and left after the ceremony as I had an early call time this morning!! The headline is not only untrue, it’s a prime example of how women are constantly vilified, exaggerated and reduced to clickbait.

“The pictures used of me ‘raging’ were actually taken in my hotel lobby before I left for the red carpet, while I was waiting for my car – which is why my makeup artist and photographer are in the photos with me. I also DID get invited to the afterparty, as did all nominees, but I chose to get n early night ahead of work today.

“Women in the public eye are too often painted as “raging”, “angry”, or “difficult”, while men in the same exact position would never be described this way. This isn’t journalism, it’s misogyny.”

On the night, Maura wowed in a leather and organza maroon dress by Lebanese fashion designer, Elio Abou Fayssal.

Sharing snaps from the special night, Maura wrote on Instagram: “So hugely grateful to have been a part of this special show..it was the best experience of my life!!!

“Thankyou @imacelebrity and everyone working tirelessly behind the cameras, this award is for all of us.”

Her pals were in awe and quickly showered her with compliments in the comment section. Luke Hamnett wrote: “She’s what mother calls, new money.” Francesca Allen posted: “Eeekkkk,” with clapping emojis. Leah Taylor said: “You are everythingtgff.”

Autumn 2025’s most flattering colour trends, from ‘ecru’ blonde to ‘griege’ grey

Want a need look for autumn? Here’s what to ask your hair colourist for this season…

Here are the colour trends to know for A/W 2025(Image: Getty)

The moment the seasons change, wardrobes aren’t the only things getting a refresh. Just as chunky knits and boots start calling, there’s a sudden urge to switch up hair colour too. Summer sun and holidays leave strands a little faded and frazzled, and by September, the itch for something new is strong.

According to Siobhan Haug, former British Colour Technician of the year and co-owner at Haug London Haus, that’s exactly why autumn is the busiest time in the salon. “People naturally have a back-to-school mentality,” she says. “Post-summer, your hair is a bit parched and the undertone shines through. If you’re blonde then you’re more yellow, and if you’re brunette you can be more red. Everyone wants a new tone after the sun strips the hair.”

This year’s autumn/winter trends are all about clever tonal shifts and elevated shades that feel both seasonal and flattering. From luminescent blondes to rich brunettes and sophisticated greys, these are the shades to know now…

Blonde

For blondes, two techniques are taking the lead. First up is Saturn blonde, a luminous sheer tone that gives a luxurious yet wearable finish. Think Pamela Anderson or Claudia Schiffer, or Julia Garner’s chic, modern blonde. “It’s a warmer blonde that’s very shiny but still sheer, not heavy,” says Siobhan. “It’s ideal for an all-over blonde – a global colour – and it even helps to take out yellow tones if your hair feels too light.” The only catch? Saturn blonde is high-commitment, demanding regular salon visits and at-home care, but the payoff is a radiant, polished look.

The second trend is Aspect lights. This approach moves away from subtle babylights towards more prominent placements that contour the face. Siobhan describes it as “contouring with colour to accentuate the skin tone,” and the results are striking. Charlize Theron has been seen with this style, which places lighter tones exactly where they flatter most, giving a more sculpted and intentional finish. It also works perfectly on curly and coily hair using more caramel tones.

Bronde

For those who prefer the in-between, bronde continues its reign with two distinct takes. Teddy bronde is simple, soft and natural-looking – a single all-over toner on top of blonde hair for a seamless finish. “Taylor Swift is a great example,” says Siobhan, noting that Hailey Bieber has also championed a cooler teddy version. It’s understated, easy to wear, and incredibly versatile.

Then there’s Ecru bronde, which sits directly between blonde and brunette and offers more depth. It’s about clever colour layering, with the base tone chosen to suit the skin. Cool undertones lean towards mushroom shades, while warmer complexions are lifted with chocolate, beige, or even buttercream hues. It’s the perfect progression shade for anyone caught between the two camps.

Head of beauty Zoe says: “After years of all-over highlights, I was honestly exhausted with the constant upkeep and the harsh line of regrowth every few weeks. When I sat down with Siobhan, she suggested trying ecru bronde as a softer, more natural option that would blend beautifully with my base colour. The process was clever, layering tones that sat perfectly between blonde and brunette, and the result is a shade that feels modern and pretty but low-maintenance. It looks glossy, healthy and most importantly, I don’t feel like I’m battling regrowth two weeks after leaving the salon.”

Brunettes

Brunettes are turning darker, richer and cooler this season. Sombre, a soft, cool brunette, is in demand as clients look to neutralise warm, sun-faded tones left over from summer. “We do it as an all-over gloss with a cendre tone, which is half violet, half blue, to cancel out the red,” Siobhan explains. “The result is a cool dark brown, like Doja Cat or Jenna Ortega as Wednesday Addams.” Shiny, moody and chic, sombre is a timeless winter update.

At the bolder end of the brunette spectrum are high pigmented shades . These are saturated, vibrant hues in the red family that deliver a punch of colour. Lizzo and Serena Williams have both embraced this kind of hyper-pigment look. In the salon, the process involves a two-step application: an all-over base colour followed by a post-colour mask to lock in depth and chromatic intensity. The result is glossy, dimensional colour that commands attention.

Mitchum users issue warning to users of these deodorants after ‘burning’ reaction

After several women came forward reporting a ‘burning’ sensation after using popular deodorant Mitchum – the brand took to social media to issue an apology over the new manufacturing methods

Popular deodorant Mitchum has come under fire after users reported a ‘burning’ sensation after using the product. One user took to TikTok to ask if anyone else’s armpits had been ‘viciously attacked’ by the deodorant, and shortly after, the brand went into a huge investigation when an alarming number of people were reportedly having the same symptoms.

Numerous users had shared on social media their irritations from using the Mitchum 48hr Powder Fresh roll-on deodorant that were taking ‘weeks’ to heal.

One woman went as far as to say she nearly “had to call an ambulance” after how bad it had stung her. Mitchum claimed batches from eight of its products, sold across the UK, Ireland and South Africa, had all been affected by a change to the manufacturing process, leading to the reaction.

Another had said she experienced her armpits “scabbing over” and was unable to use deodorant for over a month afterwards. After the social media storm of users detailing the same symptoms, the company took to Instagram to say

“While the formula hasn’t changed, a change in the manufacturing process of one of our raw materials altered how the product interacts with the skin in some consumers.”

The post urged people to check the batch codes on their deodorants

The post detailed they had gone back to their original methods, and assured users “your wellbeing means everything to us and we are actively working to remove these batches from shelves.”

Pharmaceutical professor Penny Ward, from King’s College London, told The Daily Mail: “With respect to this deodorant, the contents of the ‘new’ format includes acetyl cedrene, which has been shown to be an irritant in patch testing as well as vanillin, which can also be a skin irritant in some individuals. Generally the irritant chemicals are most likely to be those which are the added fragrances.”

The expert noted how this type of pain could be signalling an infection and added: “If one develops a reaction to a topical product, it’s a good idea to stop using it and switch to something else (after the rash has settled).”

Several batches of the following products have been affected: Mitchum Women Roll On 100ml Powder Fresh, Shower Fresh, Unscented, Pure Fresh, Flower Fresh, and Mitchum Men Roll On 100ml Ice Fresh, Clean Control, and Sport.

If you are looking to try a new deodorant, natural deodorants have been surging in popularity online, with many making the swap. One of the most popular natural deodorants are the Wild Stick Deodorant (£12). Not only do they do the job, they also come in a case with refills and have some seriously luxurious and fun scents to choose from.

Green People’s Aloe Vera & Prebiotics Deodorant (£14) is another popular option which offers a soothing, natural deodorant with built into an aloe vera core and not a drop of skin-drying alcohol in sight. Containing Alum, Prebiotics and Zinc Ricinoleate which all naturally protects against odour.

Rapper and YouTuber Yung Filly is set to return to the UK after his lawyer fought to have his bail conditions changed. Filly, whose real name is Andres Felipe Valencia Barrientos, was charged with rape and other offences over an alleged sexual assault on a woman in the country last year.

In March, he pleaded not guilty to three counts of assault occasioning bodily harm, one of strangulation and four counts of sexual penetration without consent. Three months later, it was revealed he faces two new sexual assault charges relating to the assault of a woman while he was on tour in Australia.

According to the court documents, the star faces two new counts of sexual penetration without consent, and no plea has been entered for them.

Barrientos pleaded not guilty to all but two of the charges and remained in Western Australia as part of his bail conditions.

His lawyer had applied to have the rapper’s bail conditions changed earlier this week so that he could return to the UK, with the judge approving the bail condition amendment today.

The judge said the 18 bail conditions minimised the risk of him not showing up for his trial next year. Barrientos will be flying out of Perth on Tuesday to reside at an address in Kent, England.

He has to return to Perth no later than January 7 next year and will have to surrender his passport to the courts. He also has to keep his mobile phone, and its location services, on at all times.

“Of course, your honour,” Barrientos said, understanding the bail conditions. He is not allowed to post about the case on social media and can’t go within 500 metres of two people whose initials were read in court.

The star, who was born in Colombia and moved to London aged two with his mum and sister, began his YouTube career in 2013 before releasing his debut single Take Time in 2017.

He went onto host shows Hot Property and Don’t Scream on BBC Three and has also appeared in Soccer Aid and The Great Stand Up to Cancer Bake Off.

Barrientos’ 10-day trial is set to begin on July 20.

Olivia Attwood backed by husband Bradley Dack at major career event amid marriage fears

Former Love Island star Olivia Attwood celebrated a huge career moment last night at the launch of her clothing collection with River Island – and her husband Bradley Dack was there to support her

Olivia Attwood has been supported by husband Bradley Dack after admitting that their marriage is a ‘work in progress’.

The former Love Island star, 34, tied the knot with footballer Bradley in 2023 but their relationship has been called into question in recent weeks after she went on holiday with TOWIE star Pete Wicks where they were seen looking cosy on a yacht together.

Despite speculation that there is trouble in paradise for Olivia and Bradley after the pictures of Pete sparked huge backlash, the reality TV star has shut down the rumours but has made a candid confession in saying that her marriage with Bradley is ‘not perfect’.

While Bradley, 31, chose to skip being Olivia’s plus one at the National Television Awards on Wednesday night, he was there to support his wife on Thursday at the launch of her new clothing edit with High Street giant, River Island.

Bradley was joined by his longtime friend and Love Island star Ronnie Vince as they both showed up to see Olivia shine in her latest career move. Love Island favourite Olivia arrived at Mistress of Mayfair in a striking black-and-white houndstooth suit from her own line.

Outside, one of London’s iconic black cabs was wrapped with images from her campaign. River Island praised the collaboration as “a masterclass in power styling” delivered with “unapologetic confidence.” The range includes tailored suits and bold statement looks.

During a recent appearance on ITV’s Lorraine, Olivia set the record straight on her and Bradley’s marriage. She also addressed the infidelity in their early relationship after she found out that Brad had been unfaithful in the early days of their relationship – before the pair rekindled.

“Look, Brad and I had a rocky start. There’s no such thing as perfect, our relationships has ups and downs for sure it’s a collaborative thing, it’s a work in progress,” Olivia said.

“It’s not something I would recommended to everyone to forgive [cheating] and move on. It worked for us, I’d never gone back to an ex before, I never thought I would but Brad was the exception! In some cases, it can work. The maturity. We were like 20, 21, when me went. He was silly in the beginning, I was silly. You grow up together and learn how to behave.”

When Lorraine mentioned that due to Olivia’s fame, she can be very easily ‘photographed with someone’ and have it go viral, the presenter seemed to take it all in her stride. She said: “I don’t spend time looking at news outlets, or gossip columns. They have a job to do, I’ve got a job to do. It’s part of the job. You’d drive yourself crazy! Look at something else.”

Olivia also admitted that she understands why her husband Bradley was “upset” over her Ibiza photos with Pete. Last week, she made it clear that she and Bradley are very much together, and her connection with Pete is purely friendly and professional.

Reflecting on the controversy, Olivia said both she and Bradley are determined to work through what she calls “difficult times” caused by their busy schedules.

“Me and Brad never pretend to have a perfect relationship, we have been up, down, left, backwards, and the last six months have been really challenging for us,” she told Mail Online.

“My work and his work take precedence over everything, we have to navigate our relationship all the time. It’s the boring side of being an adult in a long-term relationship, we constantly have to work at it and that’s just the truth.”

Olivia went on to discuss her marriage as she said: “No one else really wants to say that part out loud but it is difficult at times. It’s great to post a picture on Instagram but we’re transparent people and it’s not always like that, there are ups and downs, there are things on his side which haven’t been great, there’s a mix of things.

“I have messed up and done stuff, Brad has messed up. It’s really easy to pretend you’re perfect but no-one is if you just dig a little deeper,” she confessed.
