Charli XCX and husband George Daniel have been married for a second time – less than two months after they first swapped vows. The Brat summer mastermind and The 1975 drummer were first married in London on 19 July.

And following their initial ceremony at Hackney Town Hall, the pair have laid on a more lavish celebration in Italy. Charli – whose real name is Charlotte Aitchison, 33 – and George, 35, had a second ceremony on the island of Sicily.

Photos have emerged of the couple looking loved up and happy – with the bride wowing in a sheer white, strappy, sleeveless dress, and George looking dapper in a sand coloured suit. Friends, family and A-List stars were reportedly in attendance to see the couple pronounced husband and wife a second time.

The second set of vows – which The Sun has shared photos of – came after Charli joked she would have walked out on her now husband if he hadn’t cried at their first ceremony. Following the original big day, she took to TikTok to share a video clip of herself dressed in her white gown walking into a room and then turning around to walk away.

She playfully captioned the short clip: “When george isn’t crying when he sees me walking down the aisle.” And she added: “Luckily he did,” confirming she had been married at that time.

After swapping vows the first time, Charli gave a rare insight into her new life as she sat down for an interview with Australia’s Russh magazine.

When the questions inevitably turned to how the singer would spend her latest ‘Brat’ Summer, she said: “I mean, it can always be brat summer if you want it to be.

“For me I’m sort of just chilling. I just got married so I’m kind of exploring that, how it makes me feel and just hanging out with George.”

Giving insight into their low key family life away from the spotlight, she revealed: “I’m watching a lot of movies and thinking about movies and films I’m making and want to make. That’s what I’m inspired by right now.”

Reports have suggested that Charli and George opted to marry the second time in Sicily because they have a shared love for the island.

A source told The Sun: “Charli and George fell in love with Sicily and knew they wanted to get married there. It’s incredibly secluded and romantic. There will be no expense spared. It’s costing tens of thousands of pounds and visually it will be mesmerising.

“Charli and George said they wanted a massive party and there are no restrictions on when the bar has to close, so it can go on all night.

“They have both had such a busy summer with massive shows, but from mid-August they’re able to slow down and focus on their big day.

“It’s going to be pretty star-studded too, with plenty of their celeb mates making the journey over to Sicily to watch them say ‘I do’. Charli and George are so excited to become man and wife.”

Ricky Hatton’s ex-girlfriend ‘heartbroken’ as she brands late boxer an ‘inspiration’

Ricky Hatton’s ex-girlfriend, Chelsea Claire, is heartbroken over the news of the boxer’s death as she shared a statement on her social media page. Greater Manchester Police had confirmed the discovery of a body at his residence and stated that the death is not being treated as suspicious.

The Stockport-born fighter was just 46 years old. A police cordon has been put in place at his residence on Bowlacre Road in Gee Cross, Hyde. The heartbreaking news arrives only months after the legendary fighter announced his comeback to the ring with a fight scheduled for December.

Following her death, his ex-girlfriend Chelsea – who he dated in 2023 after meeting in a Spanish nightclub – took to her social media page to pay tribute to the ‘inspiration’.

She shared a snap of herself with ex-boyfriend Ricky and wrote as the caption: “Heartbroken doesn’t begin to cover what myself and the rest of the world are feeling.

“You were an inspiration to many and I was lucky to call you my partner. You will be missed so much.”

Ricky and Chelsea met at The Dubliner Bar in Tenerife during the summer of 2023 and quickly grew close to each other. She previously opened up about meeting him for the first time and admitted she ‘didn’t know who he was’.

She told The Sun: “I didn’t know who he was but my friend offered to buy him a drink. Instead, he looked over at me and asked me what I wanted.

“I said a Fireball. We both got them then went on the dance floor most of the night. He’s not afraid to take the p**s out of himself and was doing the worm.”

Meanwhile, his other ex-girlfriend, Claire Sweeney’s message of support to him is now devastating to read after the ‘Hitman’ was found dead in his home.

The Englishman was set to face UAE fighter Eisa Al Dah at middleweight on December 2 in Dubai. Hatton was supposed to fly out to a press conference to announce the bout, but had to remain at home after sustaining an eye injury during an Oasis reunion concert in Cardiff.

In a showing of support, Coronation Street star and Hatton’s ex Claire took to Instagram to share a video of the announcement, writing alongside it: “This is brilliant.”

The press conference ahead of Ricky’s fight with Eisa Aldah was expected to take part tomorrow (Monday, September 15).

YouTuber Joe Sugg and Strictly’s professional dancer Dianne Buswell are the main characters in a real-life love story that started on the Strictly Come Dancing dance floor and captured the hearts of the public.

While the ‘Strictly curse’ has made and broken relationships throughout the years, Joe, 34 and Dianne, 35, have been going strong for seven years and are now expecting a little boy after announcing Dianne is pregnant on Sunday evening.

The couple have had to challenge many split rumours over the years, but have proven that their relationship goes way beyond dancing chemistry.

Dianne joined the hit BBC program in 2017 and has reached the Strictly Come Dancing final twice before she finally got the chance to take home the glitterball trophy after she took the win with comedian Chris McCausland in 2024.

When Joe met Dianne, she was dating Hollyoaks and Emmerdale actor Anthony Quinlan, but they separated, and a few months later Joe and Dianne pleased fans by going public with their relationship.

Joe made history when he joined the dancing show as the first YouTuber to take part and made it all the way to the finale. Confirming their romance after the show wrapped, Joe gushed: “I may not have won the glitter ball, but I’ve won something a million times more special.”

Since then, Strictly fans have enjoyed seeing Dianne and Joe’s relationship go from strength to strength on social media as they regularly share loved-up snaps on their romantic getaways, with their families – including Joe’s famous older sister, Zoe Sugg.

Dianne and Joe went on to buy their first house together in 2021 and Dianne has spoken over the years about starting a family.

She previously told Closer: “I think definitely at one point we’ll have children. it’s something we’d both love, but we don’t know when just yet. We always say our kids are going to watch YouTube videos of us dancing one day, and that’s so cool!”

The loved-up couple announced the pregnancy news with a funny video of them painting a picture in their house. The camera shows them pulling faces as they concentrate on the task at hand before they reveal their joint artwork.

Strictly’s Tom Skinner reveals terrifying death threats after JD Vance meeting

Strictly Come Dancing hopeful Tom Skinner has revealed how his meeting the the vice-president of the United States over the summer led to a number of death threats being made against him

Strictly Come Dancing contestant Tom Skinner has revealed how his meeting with JD Vance led to terrifying threats being made against him. The former star of The Apprentice and the US vice president enjoyed a dinner together during the politician’s recent trip to the UK.

However, Tom, whose views online have been seen as controversial, admitted a lot of people were unhappy with his liaison. The duo met for a barbecue in the Cotswolds in the summer, with Tom proudly posting a snap of the pair on his social media.

But this incensed online users, and Tom has revealed the shocking extent of the backlash. He claims he received a number of death threats in the aftermath, with people saying he was a political figure.

Tom, though, insisted he has no interest in politics and could explain what was happening in the world if he was asking. “Now the left seems to be attacking me every day on social media,” he said.

Speaking to The Sun, he continued: “The right seems to see me as this figurehead and it’s all been a bit much for me, if I’m honest with you.

“I was getting death threats and people calling me controversial. I was thinking, what have I ever done? What have I ever said that’s controversial?

“When you actually go through my tweets, apart from saying that knife crime is bad in London, yeah?”

And he also said he had been receiving death threats for years before he added: “I didn’t see it as anything more than a barbecue, if I’m honest with you. But I’ve been turned into this political figure that I’m actually not.”

Despite accepting the invitation to the barbecue with Vance – and happily posting an image of the pair – Tom admits he had been nervous about the meeting. But it was more to do with what clothes he should wear rather than any potential backlash.

Opening up on he meeting, Tom labelled the politician “a normal bloke”. “We spoke about English cheese being so much better than American cheese, West Ham United and how they call football ‘soccer’.”

And even though their time together came with a huge uproar on social media, Tom said he has no regrets about the interaction. Instead, he labelled it an amazing opportunity to dine with one of the most important figures in the world.

He revealed it didn’t matter what the vice president’s views are and whether he believes in them or not, it was a “wow” moment in his life.

Strictly’s Alex Kingston details ‘silly snobbery’ that saw her banned from BBC show

EXCLUSIVE: TV and film and stage actress Alex Kingston says she’s long hankered to take part in Strictly, but was held back by fears it would damage her theatre career

Alex Kingston has revealed she’s been desperate to appear on Strictly Come Dancing ever since her role alongside George Clooney in ER came to an end in 2004 – but was banned by her agent.

Now the actress, who played Dr Elizabeth Corday in the hit US medical drama, says she believes the “silly” snobbery around serious stage actors taking part in reality TV is finally breaking down.

And Alex, also known for her role as Doctor Who’s iconic recurring character River Song, was delighted when she finally got the go-ahead to sign up for the BBC ballroom show.

“It’s funny because I’ve been asked in the past and my agent always sort of said, ‘No, you can’t do it’, she explained. “Now I think it’s just that I’ve got to a certain stage in my life where he’s like, ‘If you want to do it, Alex…’ because I’ve been wanting to do it for 20 years.

“For a long time I think there’s been a sort of stigma around Strictly and popular television. And if you’re a theatre actor, theatre actors don’t participate – which is silly. And it’s not true. I think it’s changing now, I really do. I think people are more generous in terms of their opinions about Strictly.”

Asked why that might be, she mused: “Maybe because it’s been going for so long? Or that you’re seeing more actors just going, ‘sod it, I want to do it’. I mean I really don’t know!”

And she added that being a theatre star shouldn’t mean she only performs for a certain elite group of people. “Just because I do Shakespeare, Shakespeare wrote populist plays, you know?” she points out. “He didn’t write for a certain level of society. So it’s a way of connecting with your audience.”

Alex Kingston

Seeing her close pal and fellow actor Sarah Hadland take part last year – and reach the final – only made Alex want to do it more. “My friends have all said, ‘you’ve been banging on about it – thank God you’re finally doing it.’

But the Surrey-born star, who wed third husband Jonathan Stamp in 2015, says she did pause for thought at the last moment – especially when Sarah told her how demanding the whole experience could be. “I know that it’s going to be really challenging, and we’re all going to be pushed really to the edge, and beyond, of our comfort zone. But that’s what life’s for, isn’t it? Just jumping in, going for it. Doing things you’ll never regret.”

Sarah, 54, has helped Alex to prepare, at least mentally, for what lies ahead. “She didn’t pull any punches and she sort of said how wonderful it is, but she also did say how hard it is and that it can be absolutely overwhelming at times. It was really good advice, because it was incredibly measured.

“It’s sort of like you’re jumping off this plane that is about to take off, and you’re running alongside it, and hoping that you can cling on and carry on flying with it. But it is a lot, and that’s what she was preparing me for. So I did think quite hard about saying yes, but then at the end of the day I couldn’t say no. Not when I’ve always wanted to do it.”

Alex Kingston

Alex says she is a keen groover and is excited to explore what she can bring to the audience using movement rather than her usual dialogue. “I love dancing. I mean, I used to dance in the 90s, just clubbing. But at home now, when I’m doing the ironing, I have music on and I’m dancing with my ironing board in the kitchen. I love expressing myself.

“As an actor, it’s just all about the word – but you can also speak with your body. I’m in awe of ballet dancers and modern dancers, and how they can affect somebody in the audience without a single word, just from how they convey the emotion through their bodies. Even though what we’re doing is slightly different, you are telling a story, you’re conveying an emotion. And I’m so excited about having a go.”

Alex may well seek tips from her 24-year-old daughter, Salome, whose father is her German second husband Florian Haertel. Alex’s first marriage, to actor Ralph Fiennes lasted just four years after it emerged he was having an affair with fellow actor Francesca Annis.

Despite her wealth of life experience, Alex admits she realised too late that she could have upped her fitness levels ahead of the competition. “I’m a bit achy today,” she confessed. “I have to say, when I saw that quite a lot of guys are athletes, and they were all posting what they were doing – Harry was at the gym and all this sort of thing – I actually started to think, ‘maybe I shouldn’t have done a bit of training myself’.
