TV presenter Roman Kemp has said that David Beckham had a message for him about his friendship with Romeo Beckham recently. He’s shared that the interaction came at a party for the former Manchester United player’s son.

Roman, 32, has revealed that he’s part of a seven-a-side team with Romeo, 23, whose career as a professional footballer has included playing for Brentford F.C.. The pair are said to be teammates with singer Tom Grennan and former footballer Petr Cech in the team that is called Netflix n’ Skills.

Romeo, who is the son of David and Victoria Beckham, is said to have been “targeted” and given “s***” by people at games because of his famous parents. Roman said that David even told him to look after his teammate earlier this year.

Roman spoke about being on the seven-a-side team with Romeo in an interview with the Sun, published tonight. He told the outlet that he spoke to David, who he said is “like a hero” to him, at Romeo’s birthday party a few weeks ago.

Speaking about his pal’s father, Roman said that David came over to him at the party and encouraged him to “look after” Romeo.

Roman said about David: “He came over and said ‘hi,’ and then turned to me and said, ‘Look after him please.'”

Roman said: “A couple of months ago he got started on because he was recognised; they were giving him s***.” He added in the interview with the outlet that people who were stood on the sideline were all giving Romeo “s***”.

The presenter, who is the son of musician Martin Kemp and singer Shirlie Kemp, then told the outlet that he receives a backlash himself at times. He said that he was “clobbered” in her face by someone once, who then said it was because he was “famous”, with Roman adding that he had been taught to walk away if confronted like that.

He continued by saying that he told their teammates, who include some of his friends from school, that David had asked for them to “look after” Romeo.

Roman added: “Football is escapism – he shouldn’t be targeted because he’s famous.” He concluded by saying that Romeo is “great” though, with him telling the outlet that his teammate “just gets on with it” in spite of any backlash.

Sarah Beeny’s battle to save £3m ‘mini Downton Abbey’ set for update amid demolition order

Sarah Beeny’s lavish property in Somerset is set to end in disaster for the presenter after the council rejected her planning permission appeal

Sarah Beeny has been told she must pull down a large extension at her home that has been dubbed a “mini Downton Abbey” – and will get an update in the next few weeks. The presenter’s £3million property update was built without permission and the council ruled earlier this year that it must be demolished.

Sarah, 53, has been fighting for her property to stay for six years after local residents raised concerns. She had initially bought the Somerset property in 2018.

She then agreed to knock down the original 1970s farmhouse and build a seven-bedroom mansion in its place. Her building extension was carried out without permission.

Instead, she applied retrospectively. Unfortunately for the Britain’s Best Home presenter, the Council refused her application.

She also lost her appeal in March. It came after her design team produced a 125-page document in a bid argue their case. But following their failure to overturn the decision, Sarah has now been informed she must demolish the property.

Both Sarah and her husband Graham have been informed they will meet Somerset Council at the site, with a visit set to take place very soon.

A spokesperson told The Sun: “A site visit is due later this month or early October. The Council will be attendance with the appropriate specialists and next steps will be determined after that visit has taken place.”

The decision comes after a statement earlier in the year revealed the council were “reviewing the case in respect of further action”. It added that the enforcement relates to a breach of planning conditions that required the original farmhouse to be demolished.

For Sarah, who announced in 2022 that she was facing breast cancer, making the estate feel like a true family home took on extra significance due to her sons – Billy, 20, Charlie, 18, Laurie, 16, and Rafferty, 15.

Having lost her own mother, Ann, to breast cancer when she was just 39 and Sarah a mere 10 years old, this mum of four confesses to being incredibly sentimental when it comes to the pieces she lives with.

She previously said: “Home is really important for me. But it’s not about how it looks, it’s about how it makes people feel.

“My mum died when I was quite young and I’ve been sentimental since then. I’ve released myself from some of it now and I’ve realised that my kids aren’t sentimental at all.

“We had a long chat around the fire the other day. They said, ‘Mum, we’re not sentimental because you’re here. You’re sentimental because you hung on to all the things that reminded you of your mum, but you’re our mum and you’re sitting right here.’ And I realised it was so true. Maybe I should let some stuff go.”

Taylor Swift shares update on Baldoni-Lively case as lawyer speaks out

The lawyers for Taylor Swift have reacted to comments that the singing sensation has agreed to appear for deposition in the Baldini-Lively case

Taylor Swift’s lawyers have spoken out after claims the singer had consented to being involved in a deposition in the bitter legal feud between Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni. Claims from Baldoni’s camp had said that the singer had consented to a sit down.

However, the Shake It Off songstress’ lawyer has denied this is the case. Instead, they have said she had not agreed to sit for a deposition in the drama.

As Baldoni’s attorneys asked for a discovery schedule extension on Thursday, they said that Swift “has agreed to appear for deposition” but cannot do so earlier than October 20. They alleged this was due to “preexisting professional obligations”.

It’s thought that these obligations were surrounding the huge release of her latest album, The Life Of A Showgirl, which will be released on October 3.

Now, in a denial, Swift’s attorney Douglas Baldridge has filed that this is false reporting. He said: “My client did not agree to a deposition, but if she is forced into a deposition, we advised (after first hearing about the deposition just three days ago) that her schedule would accommodate the time required during the week of October 20 if the parties were able to work out their disputes.”

It comes after Lively filed a lawsuit against Baldoni last year. She alleged she suffered “severe emotional distress and pain, humiliation, embarrassment, belittlement, frustration and mental anguish” as a result of his conduct during production on their movie, It Ends With Us.

He denied the claims and filed a countersuit against Lively, her husband Ryan Reynolds, and her publicist Leslie Sloane. His filing alleged extortion and defamation and he also filed a separate defamation action against The New York Times.

The tension between Blake and Taylor blew up after the singer’s name got dragged into Blake’s arduous 2024 legal battle with her It Ends With Us co-star.

Over the months, it has been reported that Swift and Lively are currently not on speaking terms. Eagle-eye fans noticed that Lively snubbed the musician’s engagement news.

The pop legend shared their happy news in a joint social media post with her fiance, Travis Kelce. “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married,” they said, alongside a dynamite stick emoji.

Swift, who has 280 million Instagram followers, also shared a heart on her Instagram story alongside her song So High School from the anthology version of the album The Tortured Poets Department. It’s said to have been written about her fiancé and was playing in the background.

They also queried whether a song in Swift’s new album is about the Gossip Girl actress.

On August 13, Swift shared news about her upcoming album. The new release will include a track titled Ruin the Friendship. Fans have speculated that the song could be about her relationship with Lively.

A source close to the situation told People: “Taylor and Blake aren’t speaking.”

Sharon Osbourne ‘finding her footing’ after Ozzy’s death as she shares emotional update

The late Ozzy Osbourne’s widow Sharon Osbourne has shared a message with fans after receiving support following his death. She’s said that she’s “still finding her footing” but has enjoyed a “magical” with Kelly Osbourne recently.

It was announced in July that Ozzy had died, aged 76, shortly after his farewell concert with his band Black Sabbath earlier that month. The news was shared by his wife Sharon, 72, and four of his children in a joint statement at the time.

Sharon shared an update with fans tonight, two months on from her late husband’s death. Her post on Instagram included footage of herself and daughter Kelly, 40, in a field with some birds, following the news that they have been trying falconry, which typically involves training and flying falcons or other birds of prey, sometimes to hunt other animals.

Alongside the footage, Sharon wrote: “I’m still having trouble finding the words to express how grateful I am for the overwhelming love and support you’ve shown on social media. Your comments, posts, and tributes have brought me more comfort than you know. None of it has gone unnoticed, in fact, it’s carried me through many nights.”

She added: “Though I’m still finding my footing, I wanted to share some glorious creatures I had the chance to spend an afternoon with. The connection you make with these powerful birds is built entirely on trust and confidence.”

Sharon continued by telling her followers: “They’ll choose to perch on you only if they sense you are safe and unafraid of them.” She added earlier: “It’s a bond I know all too well, and the experience was nothing short of magical.”

The Osbournes star concluded by expressing her love for fans and thanked them for their support. She told her followers in the post: “I love you all, and I thank you deeply for the otherworldly amount of love you continue to send my way.”

It comes after Kelly announced just days ago that she has “found her smile again” following her father’s death. Kelly told fans recently that falconry has made her feel “happy” lately and shared footage of herself with trained birds.

One video that she posted on Instagram showed a falcon flying over to her, before landing on a glove that she was wearing. Another clip showed an owl flying away from Kelly before returning and seemingly being rewarded with food.

Over a photo of herself with an owl perched on her hand, Kelly wrote: “In all my sadness & grief I have found something that truly makes me happy! I never thought I would find my smile again through falconry but I did. I absolutely love being with the birds!”

Kelly later told fans that she had introduced her mother Sharon to falconry. She wrote in a post this week: “Today I introduced my mum to falconry and she loved it! Thank you [Cornwall Falconry] for putting a smile on my mum’s face too.”

Davina McCall ‘secretly engaged to boyfriend Michael Douglas after seven years’

The Masked Singer star Davina McCall is reportedly set to wed again, with the presenter engaged to boyfriend Michael Douglas according to reports.

Friends of the star, 57, told The Sun that the couple secretly got engaged this summer. “Everyone is so thrilled for them,” a friend reportedly told the publication.

The Mirror has approached Davina’s representatives for comment. It comes just days after Michael told The Mirror that plans for marriage were in the near future.

He told us at the National Television Awards: “There could be wedding bells on the way, who knows, I’m not going anywhere else if that’s why you mean.

“But we’re in no rush for any of that, we just enjoy each others company.”

Davina and hair stylist Michael first met when he began working on her hair while she hosted Big Brother. They found love decades later and went public with their relationship in 2019.

The couple moved in together in 2023 and Michael has been there for Davina through her recent health scare – with the presenter undergoing surgery on her brain for a benign brain tumour last year.

Prior to Michael, Davina was married to shop manager Andrew Leggett for a few months in 1997. She later wed TV presenter Matthew Robertson, best known for Pet Rescue.

The couple married at Eastnor Castle in Herefordshire in 2000 and went onto have three children: Holly, 23, Tilly, 21 and Chester, 18. Matthew and Davina divorced in 2018.

Now, according to The Sun, Davina and Michael got engaged before heading to Burning Man festival in Nevada three weeks ago to celebrate.

A friend told the publication: “To say it has been a rollercoaster year for her is an understatement.

“Whilst surgery was, of course, traumatic, she made peace with a lot in the days and weeks leading up to it.

“Then, having survived, she had a new lease of life — as so many do who have been in similar situations.”

They added that Michael has been “her absolute rock” during recovery and that they’re like “lovesick teenagers” with “insane” chemistry.

“Basically Davina thought ‘f*** it, life is short’, and decided it was time to, as the kids say, lock in the love of her life,” they continued.

Charlie Sheen’s daughter Sami in tears over dad’s documentary revelation after cutting contact

Charlie Sheen is the focus of a new Netflix documentary and his estranged daughter Sami Sheen has suggested that she has already watched it following its release earlier this week

Sami Sheen has said that she was unaware that she was the catalyst for her father Charlie Sheen’s sobriety. It comes following the release of his new documentary titled aka Charlie Sheen, released on Netflix this week.

In the documentary and his memoir, The Book of Sheen, Charlie, 60, disclosed that a conversation with his eldest daughter prompted him to give up alcohol and drugs permanently, as reported by Bang Show. He shared that in 2017, after consuming three coffees with whiskey, he had to ask a friend to collect Sami from an appointment.

Her reaction is said to have led him to swear off alcohol and drug for good. Charlie said: “Sam was very quiet. I didn’t need to be clairvoyant to know exactly what she was thinking. ‘Why is Dad not driving – again? Why isn’t it just the two of us in the car like it used to be? When will that moment ever return? When will Dad ever return? I miss him.'”.

Now, OnlyFans model Sami, 21, who no longer speaks to Charlie, has said that she was oblivious to the fact that she was the reason for his sobriety. She posted a video of hearing appearing slightly tearful, with melancholic music playing in the background.

She wrote over the video on TikTok: “I didn’t know I was the reason he got sober.” Sami added in the caption of the post uploaded yesterday: “Honestly a 10/10 documentary.”

It follows Charlie’s previous claim that he was clueless as to why Sami, whose mother is actor Denise Richards, stopped speaking to him. Sami previously shared that she severed all communication with her father after he failed to check on her following an operation.

Speaking on Good Morning America recently, Charlie said: “I feel like as long as everybody’s still in the game, there’s always a shot for a better tomorrow, you know. I don’t really know what I did, that’s the problem.

“I don’t know what I’m supposed to yet apologise for. But I have absolute faith that it’s not a forever thing, and her and I will work it out. You know, we have a history of that that’s too valuable to let, you know, some moment destroy all of that.”

Charlie also disclosed that since getting sober, his bonds with all of his other children have strengthened. He’s also a parent to Lola, 20, with Denise, 16 year old twins Max and Bob with Brooke Mueller, and to daughter Cassandra Estevez, 40, with a previous partner.

He said: “We have relationships, you know? And we have legitimate ones. And they really have nothing to do with anything that I do for a living.”

Charlie is said to have quit drugs in 2015, the same year that he announced his HIV diagnosis. He has reportedly remained completely sober since ditching alcohol in 2017, with him celebrating eight years of sobriety this year.
