Blackadder writers have a cunning plan to unleash an abandoned episode of the iconic sitcom back onto the world. An unfilmed script was sadly ditched before production in 1988, but writer Richard Curtis has revealed there is a chance yet for Blackadder in Bethlehem.

The “lost” work by Curtis and Ben Elton depicts Edmund Blackadder as an innkeeper approached by Joseph and Mary as they seek a bed for the night. It features Celebrity Traitors star Sir Stephen Fry, who starred as General Melchett.
