The Simpsons set for new movie after 20 years as fans react to Bart’s ‘promise’

Nearly two decades after the first film, The Simpsons is scheduled for release. Following its successful release in 2007, the iconic animation will once more be shown on television.

The new movie adaptation is scheduled to be released on July 23, 2027, according to a social media announcement. Fans are anticipating a feature adaptation of the long-running Matt Groening-created Fox animated series, despite the lack of plot details.

On their Instagram feed, 20th Century Studios confirmed the news. A pink donut adorned with sprinkles in the shape of the number 2 was shared with Homer Simpson in a picture. “Homer is returning for seconds,” the caption of the photo read.

On social media, the new film was made known.

One user wrote: “Bart kept his promise on Twitter/X. The new “SIMPSONS” movie is scheduled for July 23, 2027, replacing a Marvel Studios film’s opening day.

Disney’s second animated feature aimed at older audiences is the second Simpsons film.

Fans went into more detail about the meaning of the Instagram announcement, quoting a famous school board scribble. They kept their word and didn’t wait 20 years for a sequel. One user wrote, “They took 19 years and 363 days.

Another phrase, “I will not wait 20 years to make another movie,”

” First movie came out July 27, 2007.2nd one is July 23, 2027. They were THIS close to completing the 20th!

Another person rephrased the phrase “Is it too early for me to mark my calendar,” and another responded, “Mmm, another Simpson movie… Excellent.”

The first film was released after 400 of the well-known yellow family’s 400 television appearances spanned more than 20 years. Critics received mixed reviews of the film despite enthusiastic fans of the show who were quick to praise the result.

Matthew Groening will bring the Simpsons characters back to life in the movies.

They even claimed Homer had predicted the character’s demise at the beginning when she said, “I can’t believe we’re paying to watch something we did on TV for free!” Everyone in the theater is a giant sucker, if you ask me.

Showrunner Matt Selman recently acknowledged that Variety over the summer that “the streaming platforms have helped the series remain popular” with the animation coming back to theaters.

Strictly Come Dancing star Alex Kingston ‘mortified’ over hilarious blunder cut from show

Strictly stars are said to have been “howling with laughter” over an unaired “unintentional innuendo” one of the contestants shared while filming the launch show.

The stars of Strictly Come Dancing are said to have been “howling with laughter” whilst filming the launch over an unaired “unintentional innuendo” from Alex Kingston. Her co-star George Clarke has since recalled the moment.

Alex, 62, who is known for her roles on ER and Doctor Who, is among the contestants on the BBC show this year. She made her debut on the dancefloor in the pre-recorded launch show, which aired two weekends ago after having been filmed in the Strictly studio days prior to its broadcast.

During the episode, Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman introduced the contestants, with the hosts having been seen asking them questions at one point. It’s since been revealed that one interaction with Alex didn’t get broadcast but had “everyone howling with laughter” at the time.

On a Useless Hotline episode that was released last week, Alex’s co-star George, 25, recalled the incident. The actor claimed to be unintentionally funny on the podcast because of how sweet, lovely, and kind she is, and that’s how he and his co-host Max Balegde put it.

George then stated that not all of Tess and Claudia’s questions to the contestants were included in the launch show’s broadcast date. He claimed that “Alexa was asked one, and she responded very well.” So someone came round before going backstage and said, “That’s good, so we’re gonna get Tess and Claudia to ask a question if you could just kind of lead into that story.”

He continued, “Tess or Claudia later] teed up with, “So you, your family, your friends, they’re big Strictly fans, right? ” How did you explain your initial efforts to them? and [Alex] was the author of the story. But she did it so beautifully.

She responded, “Well, I was actually at my friend’s husband’s birthday, and I know he’s a huge fan, so I thought I would give him a little birthday gift,” so I waited until everyone was asleep before sneaking into his room and telling him I had a secret to share. Then he arrived… We all just wet ourselves, and I could see him getting more and more stiff. And she responded, “No! with fear, fear! “

I can’t even recall what she said next in an effort to save it, George said, “Not helping Alex! “, but it basically doubled down on the bit. And it was hilarious as well. Claudia was wet, just like she once said something in response. She was shocked when she finished it, but it was still good.

A source has told the Mirror: “Alex’s unintentional innuendo had everyone howling with laughter in the studio. She was so shocked when she realised how it sounded.”

Everyone is eager to see what Alex might do on air now that Strictly’s live every Saturday night, they continued, “Sadly there wasn’t time to do the full story justice in the launch show.” Together, she and Claudia should be “TV gold.”

Strictly Come Dancing airs on BBC One and BBC iPlayer on Saturday night at 6 p.m.

Money-saving deal sees dehumidifier that ‘solves damp problem’ plummet to £9.56

This “effective” dehumidifier has received rave reviews from hundreds of customers as a “cost-effective” solution for reducing humidity and condensation, and a money-saving deal makes it even more affordable.

Condensation on windows and walls can cause mold growth, dampness, and damage to homes in cold weather. Although this issue can get worse in the fall and winter, shoppers have discovered a “brilliant and cost-effective” dehumidifier that addresses the issue without any reservations.

At full price of 25 pounds, Dunelm’s 1L dehumidifier has been hailed as an “excellent investment,” but a clever deal allows customers to purchase one for less than £10. First-time users of the money-savings website TopCashback will receive cashback and £15 that will be credited to their account.

After cashback, this effectively reduces the cost of the dehumidifier from £9.78 for existing customers to £9.56 for new Dunelm customers. All customers have to do is click this link to sign up for Dunelm, conduct a search, and make a dehumidifier purchase from the website. Within a week, the account will receive all funds.

As evidenced by the hundreds of top reviews on the Dunelm website, spending less than £10 on home protection is a wise decision for many this winter. According to YorkshireLive, the dehumidifier has been praised for being “cheap to run,” with one user claiming it costs “5 pence for 12 hours.”

Its small size allows for effective use. The dehumidifier can fit into any small room in the house thanks to its compact design, whether it’s a damp bathroom or a dry room for clothes.

One pleased customer described the Dunelm dehumidifier as having completely solved their damp issue. It costs significantly less than any other options I’ve seen. Although there have been much larger ones in the past that move a lot more air, the majority of people would find this to be sufficient in a room with washing machine drying or with a mold issue in the winter. It only costs a few pence per day to keep it running all the time.

Another customer praised the device’s performance, calling it a “very effective dehumidifier.” Although our house is a relatively dry place, this device has sucked up a lot of water. The soft hum in a bedroom is nice, and I love the various colors you can choose.

The dehumidifier has a nightlight feature that functions as a dehumidifier, removable filters, and easy maintenance. A third customer expressed their approval by saying, “This is great! It stops condensation from mold forming in the kitchen, which is amazing. Good value as well. I’d definitely buy it again.

Not everyone who purchased the product was blown away. One person expressed disappointment, noting that she performed poorly. Would return, but there is “nothing wrong” with it technically.

The 1L Compact Dehumidifier from Lakeland, which costs £34.99 and features a variety of light settings and is praised for its low electricity usage, is another option.

The Pro Breeze OmniDry 12 Dehumidifier, which is currently discounted to £149.99 at Debenhams, might be better suited for larger spaces.

What Lucy Letby did when we thought our baby was dying was ‘not normal’

appearing in Lucy Letby: Murder or Mistake, a new documentary on Channel 4? The parents discussed the terrifying experience with their newborn son this evening.

A mum and dad whose baby son nearly died while in the care of Lucy Letby have recalled their unsettling experience with the nurse, revealing that they feel a doctor’s decision ultimately saved their son.

The newborn was welcomed at Countess of Chester Hospital in 2015 by the parents, who choose to remain anonymous. He was healthy and full-term when he was delivered, but his parents later learned that he needed some breathing assistance after he was taken away.

appearing in the new documentary Lucy Letby: Murder or Mistake on Channel 4? The parents discussed the frightful scenario this evening as they were taken back to the labor room and left without knowing what was happening.

The father responded, “We were obviously concerned.” We spent a few hours or something there. “.

The mother remarked, “It seemed to last forever, didn’t it?” When a nurse arrived with the box, I realized I had missed her completely; I had just seen it. I cried out of joy. I recall asking her, “Oh my god, is he dead?” And when we assumed the worst had happened, she simply laughed. And she replied, “No, we just give these boxes to all the parents of babies who have been very poorly.”

Dr. Brearey was present when she made an offer to take us to see him, and he just stated that he had no idea what was really wrong. They were unable to explain why he had been resuscitated three more times. I felt a lot of fear and was very upset.

The father claimed that the situation “didn’t make sense” and that he was “concerned.”

The heartbroken mother continued, “Dr. Brearey told us he felt that his son’s condition would make us feel better if we were sent to Liverpool Women’s Hospital.”

The father continued, “I personally believe that he would have passed away if he had stayed at Chester.”

The baby’s mother continued, “I believe that decision saved him.” We’ll never forget that doctor, won’t we? Chester picked us up very quickly and we were immediately sent back home. We only recognized her immediately when we later saw her face in the newspaper. Lucy Letby, the nurse who delivered the box, was the recipient.

Ten years later, the parents still have the box that Letby, who was found guilty of seven counts of murder and attempted murder in 2023, gave them that day. He is currently serving a life sentence with a whole life order. A baby hat, a blanket, and a notepad are included among the items.

They are persuaded that her actions on that day were “not normal,” but they claim there was no “concerned evidence” that suggested she had anything to do with their son suddenly becoming ill.

They explained that their son, who was five years old, sadly started having “serious issues” as a result of his recovery.

He has had really bad seizures that haven’t stopped for 15 or 20 minutes, and he is delayed by about two years from where he should be in school. He still struggles with writing. They said the first one was horrifying, wasn’t it? He told me this weekend, “I wish I was normal, I wish I was normal,” implying that he only wants to be like everyone else.

They recalled their son saying, “That’s the naughty nurse that tried to kill me!” when they spoke about his reaction to seeing Letby on television.

Tonight’s documentary examines whether there was a mistake in Lucy Letby’s conviction, particularly in light of the provableness of the evidence presented by the prosecution.

“Our son is always going to know and she’ll always probably be in and out of the news,” the mum continued. “And I don’t know when he’s older how that’s going to make him feel or what effect that has on him. But it is one of the biggest cases in the world and people do have a right to know what had happened. There’s always going to be two sides to it, isn’t there?”

The mother responded, “I veer from being guilty to not guilty depending on how I feel that day because I definitely feel something went on at the hospital, but then I find it so difficult to believe someone could actually do that.” We won’t, of course, ever fully understand the truth.

Tonight at 9 p.m. on Channel 4 to watch Lucy Letby: Murder or Mistake.
