Katie Price’s furious Peter Andre rant as she holds ‘worst fears’ for kids

EXCLUSIVE: The Princess Andre 18th birthday saga, in which Katie Price claims she was banned from celebrating with her daughter, has left the former glamour model ‘really upset’, according to sources

Katie Price is said to be upset following Princess’ birthday

It’s been 16 years since Katie Price split from her first husband, Peter Andre, but it seems their feud is far from over. In fact, things appear to have escalated even further, and the former glamour model is said to have reached breaking point.

In a furious rant, Katie, 47, claimed she was “left out” of their daughter Princess’s 18th birthday party, which was hosted by Peter and his wife Emily. “The situation has really upset Katie,” says a source.

“There has been a build-up of tension recently and it all came to a head last week over Princess’s birthday. Katie was devastated and felt like she had basically been banned from attending. All the talk about their relationship angered and upset her, and she had a bit of a meltdown – because she is still so close to her kids.

“Falling out with her children would be her worst fear. They only have one mum and it is her. She adores them, sees them regularly and she’d never want to lose that. ”

Princess celebrated her milestone birthday at an intimate party with dad Peter, 52, and his wife, Emily MacDonagh, 35. Members of Pete’s management team, The Can Group, were also guests. But the top PR company found themselves on the receiving end of Katie’s anger after she alleged she wasn’t invited because they wouldn’t “allow” Princess – who they also represent – to be seen with her mother.

“Princess is now an adult, so, officially, Mummy and Princess can go out together,” Katie stated on her podcast, The Katie Price Show, before adding, pointedly, “If certain people would let her be seen with me.”

However, when contacted by New magazine, the management firm claimed: “We have never – and would never – stop Princess from seeing Katie. We would never intervene in any of our clients seeing their parents or not. ”

Another source claims: “Pete and Emily simply put on a three-hour party for Princess’ 18th, which is totally normal for any child of parents who have split. They organise things separately – Pete’s never been invited to anything Katie’s organised, and vice versa. Katie was in Dubai – she could have come back.

“It’s such a shame – this should have been about Princess. It’s an important birthday, she’s doing so well in her career and she should have been enjoying it, rather than worrying about all this. ”

While Katie may not have been involved in the Andres’ party, it was believed she and Princess would celebrate in their own way. “Maybe we’ll have a nice dinner together,” Princess told OK! magazine last month.

However, Katie – who, during her trip to Dubai, shared an image of writing on a beach which read, ‘My daughters will always be my Princesses’ – later suffered an embarrassing social media blunder when she posted a birthday message to Princess two days early.

“Happy 18th Birthday to the most amazing daughter. And my best friend @‌princess_andre. I love you so much,” she wrote on 27 June, before swiftly deleting it, later sharing a second message on 29 June – Princess’ actual birthday.

Following the faux pas, Katie fell foul of online trolls, with one saying she “can’t even remember her own daughter’s birthday”.

This, the source close to Katie claims, made her see red. “She doesn’t like being trolled or for people to think she’s a bad mum. She loves her kids. ”

Meanwhile, Katie spoke of her lack of involvement in Princess’ upcoming ITV reality show on the podcast, saying, “I’m not in it. Certain people don’t think it’s good for Princess to be seen with me,” claimed Katie, who also shares son Junior, 20, with Peter.

Katie’s sister and podcast co-host, Sophie, then chimed in, “You aren’t on brand, Kate. You’re too risky. ” Clearly riled, Katie continued, “It’s pathetic. I’m her mother… It’s so sad. ” Sophie then cut in, diplomatically “let’s save that for another day”.

Katie’s rant is the latest in a string of controversial comments about her ex-husband, who she fell for while appearing on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! in 2004. At the time of her divorce from the singer, Katie admitted she didn’t want to split up, saying, “Pete is the love of my life. I am devastated and disappointed by his decision. ”

Last October, Katie branded Peter “jealous” as she discussed their divorce on The Louis Theroux Podcast. And when quizzed about how they communicate post-split, she simply said, “Don’t speak to him. ”

Both Princess and Junior have a strong bond with their pop star dad and spend most of their time at home with him, Emily, and their three children – Amelia, 11, Theo, eight, and one-year-old Arabella.

Katie said last year, “[Princess and Junior] know their dad is never written about in a bad way. They know I’m always written about in a bad way. ”

The source close to Katie adds, “She doesn’t like constantly being painted in a bad light. Pete feels as though he is the protector and because their relationship is strained it’s a tough balance to strike. It’s been a case of high emotions for Katie. ”

Katie’s agent had no comment.

Oasis have reportedly hired Justin Bieber’s bodyguard, Ian Norrington, and Madonna’s chef, Darren Staats, for their reunion tour – which starts today in Cardiff. Ian was the Peaches singer’s bodyguard during the height of his fruitful career as well as Taylor Swift and Karlie Kloss.

The Muay Thai enthusiast will be looking after Liam and Noel Gallagher, and band members Paul Arthurs, Gem Archer, Andy Bell and Joey Waronker, during the long-awaited tour following their 16-year feud. “Oasis know the tour is going to be absolutely frenzied so there is no one better to look after them than Ian,” an insider claimed.

Liam and Noel will reportedly also be joined by Madonna’s former ‘clean-eating’ chef Darren, who ‘knows exactly what the band want on tour’, The Sun reported. The Mirror have reached out to Oasis for comment.

The Mirror recently reported that the main Oasis line up was as expected with Liam as the frontman and Noel on guitar alongside close pals and regulars Paul ‘Bonehead’ Arthurs, Gem Archer and Andy Bell.

The new drummer is Joey Waronker, who performed with Liam Gallagher and John Squire last year on a tour.

In the tour programme, there are a few more musicians playing with Oasis, including Christian Madden on keyboards, Jess Greenfield on backing vocals, Alastair White on trombone, Steve Hamilton on saxophone and Joe Auckland will be playing the trumpet.

The Mirror understands Jess will no longer be on stage with a source close to the group saying she was only listed in the earlier drafts of the programme and won’t be going on tour.

An insider said: “The band are not using backing singers anymore. Noel has worked loads with Jess in the past but after final rehearsals were done and the set list was drawn up it made more sense for Noel to do the backing vocals for Liam on the songs.

“It’s a shame for Jess but it’s likely there will be other opportunities for her with Noel in the future. They just didn’t need her in the end. “

Speaking on the Behind The Curtain podcast, Jess spoke about the reunion and said: “I found out pretty much when everyone else did. I’d heard rumours and then I heard for definite two days before through someone else. Yeah It was definitely a shock.

“I’d love to go. Hopefully Wembley cos it is Wembley. It’s amazing and the last time they performed those songs properly was in the Nineties when I was a teenager and I didn’t go to the gigs back in the day.

“So it will be nice to see it as an adult. I’m really looking forward to it. ”

With Oasis just hours away from kicking off their global tour, Google has sent fans crazy with a few Easter Eggs for anyone searching for more information about the tour

After 16 years of anticipation, the Gallagher brothers will grace a stage together once again as Oasis is officially back in business. But with all that hype, fans searching for more information have been left laughing at a sneaky change Google has introduced.

After decades of waiting, Britpop fans are finally getting what many had dreamed of, but many thought would never happen, as the classic 90s band performs its first show since 2009 as they take to the stage in Cardiff later today.

Currently the talk of the country, many intrigued fans have been googling for more information on the tour only to find a funny nod to the brother sending them in a different direction.

When searching Oasis Tour, at the top of the page and above all the tour dates is the search help tool “Did you mean?”. Now, although this certain box has helped correct countless typos for this one page Google have sneakily changed it to “Did you mean: madferit.”

The search engine has picked up a Manchester accent(Image: Google)

For any southerners not quite up to date with Manchester slang, “mad fer it” meaning “mad for it” was a phrase Liam and Noel used to shout out in their earlier days to get the crowd going and make sure everyone was ready for a party. At one point Oasis fans were even given the nickname mad ferits.

But Google wasn’t done giving itself a Manchester accent with just one suggestion. Anybody searching for the group’s classic 1994 hit Rock ‘N’ Roll Star will be met with a ” Did you mean: rock n roll staaaaaaaaaar,” a reference to Liam’s iconic Mancunian whine that made his lyrics so iconic.

Fans who decided to brave the elements and camp outside the Cardiff stadium ahead of the tour have now been given VIP tickets to the show.

ITV show Lorraine’s correspondent Nick Dixon revealed on the daytime show that some ticket holders had been waiting outside the Principality Stadium since yesterday in the hopes of getting to the front of the stage – and Oasis ‘ Noel and Liam Gallagher had noticed.

Lytham Festival cancelled while people travel to venue – ‘It would not be safe to go ahead’

Lytham Festival has been cancelled due to “adverse weather conditions”. The organisers released a statement on Friday evening hours before it was due to start.

They said: “Due to adverse weather conditions, we unfortunately have had to make the decision to cancel this evening. The safety of our customers, staff and artists is our priority and increasing high winds mean it would not be safe to go ahead. “

“All customers will receive a full refund for tonight’s show. Please wait to hear from your ticket agent for further information,” they said.

On Friday, the likes of Alanis Morissette, Train, Liz Phair and more were due to perform. Fans fumed as they took to the festival’s socials to claim they didn’t find out about the cancellations until last minute.

One user said underneath the festival’s Facebook post: “Omg I’m literally soaking wet waiting for the flyer and then some kind random lady told me it was cancelled. No email or text from you… very poor comms! “

Another furious user commented: “Ridiculous announcement too late, we are in a world where we absolutely know what the weather conditions will be, clearly not prepared with the right equipment. Glastonbury continues if your swimming to the stage. Bloody joke. “

One questioned why it took them so long to post the news on social media. They said: “We were turned away 40mins ago. Shocking that it’s taken this long to officially announce it on social media and your app. “

“Terrible communication…. . And I’m sure the weather was just as bad 2 years ago! Ridiculous! ! ! ” one commented.

Another fan, who is attending tomorrow’s event, said: “We’re coming tomorrow. Please give us more notice than this because we have a good way to travel. Thank you. “

This year’s festival is supposed to host five nights of live music on Lytham Green on the banks of the Ribble Estuary. Over 100,000 people attend every summer, with the likes of Lionel Richie and Lewis Capaldi previously headlining.

Stevie Wonder kicked off this year’s festival on Thursday evening with a supporting performance from Corinne Bailey Rae.

On Saturday, Justin Timberlake, Jess Glynne, Dagny and CTRL are performing while Sunday will see XV, Simple Minds, Texas and more on stage.

Mel B wedding: One Spice Girl ‘confirms attendance’ as three absent

Insiders open up about Mel B’s nuptials at St Paul’s Catherdral saying Rory McPhee is as “un-showbiz as they come” and the perfect match for the Spice Girl

So in love: Mel B and Rory McPhee (Image: GC Images)

When Mel B walks down the aisle at St Paul’s Cathedral, friends believe it really will be third time lucky for the Spice Girl.

The 50-year-old, who has been married twice before, is tying the knot on Saturday with hairstylist Rory McPhee, 37, who pals say is as “un-showbiz as they come”.

“It’s why everyone thinks that they get on so well… and why he is so good for Melanie,” says one confidante.

“He doesn’t come from that fake, entertainment world. He is down to earth, family orientated and just a normal bloke.”

Their connection runs deep, all the way to childhood. Mel’s cousin Christian Cooke and Rory were friends at school, and he has “always been on the outer edges of her life”.

The pal said: “It’s why this is almost certainly going to be a happy ever after. It’s as if the universe was just waiting for them to properly connect and fall in love. ”

Other friends of the singer have described Rory, who works at his family run Leeds hair salon, as “not your typical alpha male” that Mel has been attracted to in the past.

They added: “He is humble, kind, cooks roast dinners for her… It’s as far removed from her usual type that you can imagine. ”

Mel’s previous marriage to Stephen Belafonte broke down and she accused him of emotional and physical abuse, which he has always denied. Her first husband was Jimmy Gulzar.

Last year she said of Rory: “When I went back to England, he would come over and give me hair treatments… and as he was nurturing my curls back, I guess he was nurturing my trust and belief in a relationship. ”

Rory popped the question in October 2022 at the Cliveden Hotel in Berkshire, after decking the room in flowers and going down on one knee.

Mel said: “I was in my walking clothes, hair up in a bun,. And he did a whole spiel to me about me being his best friend. ”

Being awarded an MBE in 2022 for her services to charitable causes and vulnerable women meant the star was able to tie the knot at St Paul’s.

Mel, who eloped to Las Vegas to marry Stephen, says it will be a very different affair to her previous nuptials.

She has said previously: “This will be a very formal, English wedding where I want to feel regal and very proper. All the ladies will wear hats or fascinators. ”

The guest list has been a hot topic, not least about whether her Spice Girl bandmates would be on it.

Insiders say Emma Bunton will be there with husband Jade Jones, but Mel C, Victoria Beckham and Geri Horner will not.

Insiders say: “Victoria loves Mel but sadly she will be out of the country, and wishes she could be there. Mel C too would have been there but she is on tour in Sweden. They have a great deal of affection for Melanie. ”

Victoria was keen to show that Mel was in her thoughts as she posted a picture of herself and Mel looking glamorous at a recent event as she sent Rory and Mel best wishes.

The reason for Geri’s absence is not known for sure, but she is said to have a more strained relationship with Mel than the others.

Insiders say she was left mortified after Mel claimed on Piers Morgan’s Life Stories in 2019 that she was intimate with Geri while they were in the Spice Girls.

Despite reports she was set to wear a wedding dress designed by Victoria, she has picked out two other gowns instead. One by British designer Josephine Scott for today and another by US bridal specialist Justin Alexander for a second wedding ceremony abroad in the next few weeks. Mel said: “It’s a perfect blend of my love for Britain and America.”

For the first ceremony, Mel will walk down to the aisle to an organ.

Says the insider: “Mel wanted it to be all very traditional and very much in keeping with the classic surroundings. ”

The couple will say their vows in the crypt underneath the cathedral.

“It’s a dream that she is able to do so, and that her MBE opened the door for her,” says a pal.

As for the second ceremony, there are some suggestions it could be in Morocco.

Says our insider: “This will be a smaller, more relaxed affair with a less starry guest-list and be more family orientated. ”

Today, however, the guest-list is distinctly A-list with pop svengalis Simon Cowell and Simon Fuller expected to make an appearance.

Mel’s’ children Phoenix, 26, Angel, 18, and Madison, 13, will all be there, and are smitten with Rory.

Piers Morgan mocks Oasis in comeback message ahead of Cardiff Principality Stadium gig

Oasis were treated to a good luck message by Piers Morgan ahead of their Cardiff Principality Stadium tour opener, but the presenter couldn’t help but have a dig at the Gallagher brothers

Piers Morgan couldn’t resist but take a jibe at Oasis ahead of their reunion tour starting. Brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher are ready to take to the stage together for the first time in 16 years at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium.

And the former Good Morning Britain presenter made a cheeky dig at the duo’s infamous fallout that saw the band initially split. Taking to social media, Piers shared a snap of himself alongside Liam.

In the throwback snap shared on Twitter /X, Liam and Pier were sharing a glass of bubbly. He captioned the upload: “Good luck, lads ⁦@oasis ⁩ – try to make it to the second half before brawling on stage. @liamgallagher @NoelGallagher”

It comes after the Mancunian brothers’ huge fallout in 2009. Ever since, Liam and Noel have been involved in a bitter war of words for years. On August 28, 2009, lead guitarist and songwriter, Noel, quit the band ahead of a gig in Paris.

It came as Oasis were preparing to go onstage at the Rock En Seine festival. A row is said to have broken out, with Liam wielding Noel’s guitar around “like an axe”.

“He nearly took my face off with it,” Noel claimed, adding after that the show was cancelled, along with the rest of the tour.

The explosive row also saw Liam chuck a plum at his older brother. The fruit burst against the dressing room wall shortly before they were due on stage. Noel told Radio X: “Part of me wishes it did end like that – ‘plum throws plum’. “

He went on: “He storms out of the dressing room and on the way out, he picked up a plum and threw it across the dressing room and it smashes against the wall. ” Liam then began “swinging” a guitar, which Noel says was a “real unnecessary violent act”.

Thankfully for their fans, they have agreed to bury the hatchet, starting with tonight’s offering in Wales. The city of Cardiff has been taken over by Britpop fans, with pubs nearby the Principality Stadium seemingly bursting at the seams.

When those lucky enough to have got their hands on tickets get into the venue they will be treated to over two hours worth of tunes by the iconic hitmakers. It was revealed earlier in the week that Oasis will take to the stage at 8. 15pm before exiting at the 10. 30pm curfew.

It’s thought they will entertain the 74,500 crowd with 24 of their biggest tunes. While they hadn’t confirmed the setlist, leaks online seemingly showed fans what to expect.
