Nadia Sawalha opened up about struggling over her health in a candid video messages that was shared with fans of the Loose Women panelist on YouTube a few days ago

Loose Women panelist Nadia Sawalha has spoken candidly about a health issue that “steals the joy of life”. Detailing her experience in a video message shared with fans just days ago, she described it as “horrendeous” and “exhausting”.

Nadia, 60, has opened up about her experience with health anxiety in a vlog on YouTube. The former EastEnders star shared on the platform that it is “ruining” her life and she suggested in the video uploaded last week that she worries numerous times a day about potential diagnoses.

The actor said: “I’m always worrying that I have got some new and dreadful disease.” Nadia, who told viewers that she ‘obsesses’ over her concerns, revealed that her anxiety includes over the prospect of having dementia and cancer.

Nadia said that she will see something on social media or be told about a condition and “that’s it”. She added: “I just obsess.” She then mentioned dementia, which she finds “petrifying,” and recalled thinking about it up to 30 times on the day that she was recording the vlog, released on Friday.

She said: “I probably today questioned and I’m really not exaggerating now, I’m really now, I probably 25 to 35 times today … been to Loose Women, been on the train, been on the bus, talked to all sorts of different people, popped into a shop … there wasn’t any thing I did today, any interaction, any transaction where I didn’t go ‘oh my god, that was a bit weird, is that dementia?’ It’s horrendous.”

Speaking about her anxieties, Nadia said dementia is “one of them,” alongside breast cancer and bowel cancer. She said: “Now, if you think about it, those are all diseases or illnesses that there’s been fantastic work done on awareness.”

She added: “Don’t get me wrong awareness is good, lives are saved by awareness – but I think I’m too aware.” Nadia then brought up articles warning against missing early signs of conditions, saying: “Seems that everything is an early sign.”

Nadia said she will occasionally “allow” herself to “hover over a really rare thing,” giving the infection Weil’s disease as an example. She said: “[It’s] caused by rats in water, right. I never swim in fresh water where there’s rats, but I can literally convince myself that it could be something that I possibly could have.”

Nadia continued by saying that she is “constantly looking at moles” due to skin cancer concerns. She later shared that she also worries about sight loss, asbestos and autoimmune condition Guillain-Barré syndrome, for example.

Speaking about her experience, she said: “Oh my god, it’s just … it’s so draining.” Nadia described it as “exhausting” and said: “It steals the joy of life because I’ll be having a nice time with the family or something and then I think ‘oh well I’m gonna have [a health issue] soon and then I won’t be here’.”

Nadia told viewers that she can’t speak about her health anxiety with some people in her life. She said: “I can’t discuss it in front of my family because the kids go mad, they’re terrified.” At the end of the vlog, before laughing, she said: “So it’s just constant worry and misery.”

According to the NHS, health anxiety is related to obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD). It adds that treatment for the condition can include talking therapy like cognitive behavioural therapy, known as CBT, and medication.

Princess Andre has been flooded with messages of support after she was being made to wear a revealing bikini top on a photo shoot. The daughter of Katie Price and Peter Andre made her modelling debut in Ibiza but felt “uncomfortable”.

She is embarking on her very own showbiz career and has even landed a TV show titled The Princess Diaries. It follows her life as she carves out a modelling career as well as launching her own business.

The 18-year-old gave fans a look into her life as a model in episode three of her show. It comes after Princess says she’s ‘independent’ from parents as she breaks silence after Katie Price row.

In a last minute change at the fashion show, Princess was asked to wear a skimpy bikini top and skirt. However, the move left her visibly distressed.

“The worst thing is trying to be confident in something you’re not going to be confident in,” she explained. “Obviously, I feel fine wearing a bikini in a pool because we’re in a swimming pool. No-one actually cares.

“But to walk down a catwalk in a bikini top, I’m going to feel exposed. I’m going to feel so uncomfortable.” Princess added: “I was already anxious in the first place, but this has just made it ten times worse.”

Princess headed over to her content manager as she laid bare her insecurities about the request. She confessed: “It’s just my boobs – I hate my boobs, there’s just nothing to them, it’s embarrassing.

“They’re all 20-something-year-olds with massive boobs, it’s awkward.” However, her manager told her: “You don’t need massive boobs to look amazing.”

Despite her nerves and reservations, Princess carried on with the show and later shared photos from the runway: “Well… at least I didn’t fall over on the runway. Who caught last night’s episode?”

Princess won over viewers with how vulnerable and honest she appeared on screen as one wrote: “You handled yourself so well beyond your years when everything changed. Keep shining.”

Another added: “Binged them all as soon as it was out! It’s lovely to see you growing as your own person. Your bond with Junior and your family is so lovely to see.”

Someone else commented: “You’re doing so well for yourself. I have absolutely loved watching!” A fourth shared: “You looked the most real there, Princess, on that catwalk.

“You looked the most realistic, you looked healthy and natural. I feel there’s a lot of pressure and you felt you couldn’t say no which is awful. Love your relationship with Junior.”

While her series airs, Princess has faced rumours of a fallout with her mum Katie. It came after the former glamour model revealed she was banned from attending Princess’ 18th birthday because it was being filmed.

The teenager’s series is produced by the same company that once looked after Katie while she was married to Peter, but they have since fallen out.

On her Katie Price Show podcast, she said: “Certain people don’t think it’s good for Princess to be seen with me. Certain people that used to look after me. It’s pathetic. I’m her mother. It’s sad … Princess was like ‘I’m having a party’. And I wasn’t invited because it was for ‘filming.'”

However, Princess shared her side on her series as she said: “That is completely false and I would never say that about my mum. Me and my mum get on so well and we talk all the time.

“It’s just a little bit awkward and it has put me in an awkward situation. My mum’s not even here. She’s in Dubai. I’ve never once said in public or private bad things about my mum. I would find it so awkward and weird if my mum and dad were in the same room.”

This Morning star Andi joked he was “ancient” after he recently celebrated a birthday

This Morning viewers were left shocked after presenter Andi Peters confirmed his age during a conversation about Brooklyn Beckham.

During Tuesday’s instalment of the ITV show, Andi and co-host Emma Willis stepped in as presenters, covering for Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard, who are on their summer holidays.

Before delving into the day’s headlines, Andi introduced Alison Phillips alongside the newlywed Nick Ferrari, who confirmed that he recently got married to his long-term partner, Clare Goodwin.

The discussion soon turned to Brooklyn Beckham’s, 26, so-called feud with his family following his vow renewal to his wife, Nicola Peltz, 30.

However, the couple has renewed their wedding vows in a lavish ceremony, and the Beckham family appeared to be seemingly absent from the occasion.

Speaking about the ceremony, Nick said: “What’s interesting, it’s been three years, that’s not a lot of time. If they were married 10 or 20.”

Andi interjected: “Maybe they are trying to prove a point that they are having a great relationship, that they are happy with each other, and that they are under such scrutiny all the time.”

Alison chimed in: “They are only under scrutiny because they put pictures all over Instagram, all the time”, as Nick agreed.

Andi continued: “I think there is a real generational thing for people of that age. I was 55 last week, don’t you know. I’m ancient.”

The iconic presenter left Nick stunned with his age as This Morning viewers also took to social media to share their shock, as they thought Andi was “a lot younger”.

On Facebook, one person asked: “Watching This Morning. Did Andi Peters just say he was 55?! I need to know his secret. He still looks so young.”

A second stated: “He did and I was no way!”, while a third added: “He still looks the same as he did when I was younger, I’ve said that lots of times, he hasn’t aged at all, lucky.”

“He’s hardly changed at all”, added one viewer as another echoed the sentiment and wrote: “I said this a few weeks ago, he’s hardly changed in 30 years.”

Friends of the Beckham family have reportedly cut ties with Brooklyn Beckham and his wife Nicola Peltz as the family feud continues. The duo renewed their vows recently, but seemingly failed to offer an invite to any of Brooklyn’s side, with 30 guests in attendance.

But now, it appears as though a number of celeb pals have offered their allegiances to Posh and Becks rather than their eldest son, 26. According to reports a number of Brooklyn’s friends have frozen him out following the highly public family fallout.

Over the years, Brooklyn’s friendships with other nepo-babies in London were apparent. Among those he classed as friends were Madonna’s son, Rocco Ritchie, and Noel Gallagher’s daughter, Anais. It comes after David Beckham ditches his iconic tiny trunks on yacht trip with Gordon Ramsay’s family.

Brooklyn was also close to the kids of Gordan Ramsay, as well as Selena Gomez. However, while some attended his first wedding to Nicola, none made the cut for wedding number two. And it appears as though none shared positive messages online, either, after the ceremony.

Instead, a source has told The Sun: “It seems like a real shutdown – Brooklyn has no contact with friends from his former life in the UK.

“Rocco, Selena, the Ramsay kids – none of them have even liked the wedding pics after Nicola posted, let alone commented to congratulate them.”

The source went on: “Things have gone very cold with his old friends – it’s like the marriage to Nicola meant he started a whole new life with new people around him.”

They added that people have reportedly “sensed a shift” in Brooklyn’s life and priorities lately, and said it is also a bad look to be so publicly involved in a feud with his famous parents.

When it comes to the couple’s decision to blank the Beckham side of the family for their recent vow renewals, a psychotherapist has claimed it was a move that was driven by “a desire for control”.

After an insider claimed the move was the final straw for David and his wife Victoria, expert Kamalyn Kaur said the young couple appeared to be seeking a fresh start. Speaking to Femail, she said: “If someone’s had a bit of hardship after their marriage, they might want to just do a little bit of a reset.

“Especially if there’s been tension, or there have been life changes or external pressure, which I think in this case, probably applies.”

She added: “Excluding family, any kind of family, from an important event can suggest a desire for control over this narrative. It’s also signifying that there’s like a conflict here, they’re saying, ‘we don’t want you to be a part of this new chapter and we are choosing to exclude you,’ so it’s almost like a form of protest or retaliation.”

And she added that while the move to exclude Brooklyn’s family and friends wasn’t necessarily healthy, it could have been seen as an “act of boundary setting”.

Princess Kate has taken a break from her holiday to share a poignant message on embracing special moments and cherishing loved ones during the summer season

The Princess of Wales has interrupted her summer break to share a new video as part of her Mother Nature series, which focuses on embracing special moments, cherishing loved ones, and relishing in the summer season.

The Princess launched this series in Spring as a celebration of the changing seasons across the UK, and a reminder and reflection of the beauty and complexity of the human experience. It comes after claims Prince Harry ‘admits he is still part of the Royal Family and finally sees sense’.

Kate’s new summer episode, which was posted to Instagram, remains rooted in nature but also captures meaningful human interactions and embraces the joy of connection. The timing of the Princess of Wales ’ new video marks the peak of summer in the United Kingdom, with much of England experiencing soaring temperatures this week.

While neither Princess Kate nor Prince William feature in the film, the video is narrated by Kate, as she reads a moving script about enjoying all that summer has to offer with friends and family by our sides.

In the video, she says: “Summer is a season for abundance. Just as the flowers bloom and the fruits ripen, we too are reminded of our own potential for growth. It is the time to ignite our inner fire and explore our own creativity, passions, and dreams.

“As we bask in the sunlit hours, friends and families come together; playing, connecting, being present. Embracing the joy to be found in even the most fleeting of moments and shared experiences.

The poignant video was filmed by Will Warrs and the Kensington Palace communications team over the last few months, and includes shots from all over the country, including Sheffield, Bradford, North Wales and Anglesey and the south coast.

The group of ballet dancers who feature in the film, hailing from The Royal Ballet School, have a history with Princess Kate, after performing at her annual Christmas Carol Service in 2024.

The previous video in the series documented the Spring season, and features never-before-seen clips of her and Prince William enjoying their wedding anniversary on the Isle of Mull in April.

The natural world has played an important role in Kate’s cancer journey, with the princess now in remission following her diagnosis more than a year ago. In the video, William and Kate are seen with their backs to the camera and arms around each other hugging, admiring the scenery.

This afternoon, our Politics team broke the news that Keir Starmer said there is a ‘viable’ chance of reaching a ceasefire in the Ukraine war. The PM claimed that it was possible because of Donald Trump’s work.

Mr Starmer said Britain stands ready to “increase pressure” on Russia if necessary after holding virtual calls with the US President, Volodymyr Zelensky and other European leaders. The talks came ahead of high stakes in-person talks between Mr Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin in Alaska on Friday.

Briefing the Coalition of the Willing after the calls, Mr Starmer said: “As I’ve said personally to President Trump, for three and a bit years this conflict has been going on and we haven’t got anywhere near the prospect of actually a viable solution, a viable way, of bringing it to a ceasefire. And now we do have that chance because of the work that the President has put in.”

Friends of Nicola and Brooklyn have told how Brooklyn’s siblings Romeo and Cruz were also persona non grata after what they claim are a series of online barbs from the duo. “Brooklyn’s brothers have been fanning the flames. They’ve openly made fun of and trolled Brooklyn in comments on social media,” said the pal.

Isle of Sheppey ‘murder’: Teens charged after man, 49, ‘beaten to death with rocks’

Three children have been charged with murder after a man died on the Isle of Sheppey, Kent Police have said. A 16-year-old girl and two boys, aged 14 and 15, from London have been charged with the murder of Alexander Cashford, 49, in Leysdown-on-Sea. A 12-year-old girl, from Basildon, who was also been arrested in connection with the incident, remains in custody.

The man was pronounced dead at around 7pm on Sunday after an air ambulance was called to the scene. It is alleged the victim was assaulted following a “disturbance involving a small group of people”. Multiple injuries to the man’s body were reported.

Two teenage boys and a girl were arrested a short while later and taken into custody. Yesterday, the boys, aged 14 and 15, and the 16-year-old girl were charged with murder by joint venture.

Jay Blades appears in court as The Repair Shop star charged with rape

TV presenter Jay Blades appeared before a judge today charged with rape. The Repair Shop star, 55, is alleged to have carried out two rapes between 2022 and 2024. He appeared via video-link at Telford magistrates’ court this morning.

Blades appeared on the court screen wearing a blue suit, sky blue shirt, black polka dot tie and spectacles. He gave his name as “Jason Blades” and confirmed his address and date of birth.

Blades separately faces a controlling or coercive behaviour charge between 2023 and last September. The star, from Claverley, Shrops, found fame on The Repair Shop, which he started presenting in 2017.

Chaotic 40C heatwave sees 82 fires break out across holiday hotspots

Temperatures have soared past 40C in parts of Europe as apocalyptic wildfires continue to rage. Three people have been killed in the devastating forest fires sweeping across Spain, Turkey and Albania, while firefighters also scramble to quench the flames in Greece and Portugal.

Dozens in Greece have also been hospitalised with smoke inhalation. Tourists and locals have been evacuated from blazes that are tearing through Ionian islands.

Officials ordered the evacuations of dozens of villages amid an intense drought and strong winds that have helped the spread of the fire. Large fires have been raging in Zante, Kefalonia and Chios, all popular destinations for British holidaymakers.
