Bindi Irwin, the 27-year-old daughter of the late Crocodile Hunter star Steve Irwin, has given her fans a crucial health update after undergoing emergency surgery in the US earlier this year. In an emotional Instagram post, she revealed that she is “finally feeling better” following her procedure and now has some answers about her long-standing battle with endometriosis after “waiting 13 years.”

In May, Bindi was rushed to hospital in severe pain while visiting the US with her mum, Terri Irwin, and brother, Robert Irwin, for the annual Steve Irwin Gala in Las Vegas. She had emergency surgery for a ruptured appendix, and during the operation, she also received further treatment for her endometriosis.

In an Instagram post shared this week, the Australian native said she is “genuinely healing” after an astonishing 51 endometriosis lesions were removed along with a “chocolate cyst”, which is a type of ovarian cyst filled with old blood.

She penned: “13 years of fighting for answers. 51 endometriosis lesions, a chocolate cyst, and my appendix were all removed across two surgeries with @seckinmd. My hernia from giving birth that was unzipping – was taken care of.

“I can FINALLY say that I’m feeling better. Genuinely healing. I can function in everyday life without wanting to throw up or pass out from the pain. Slowly, slowly gaining my strength back.”

Bindi went on to say she “felt ashamed” as a teenager when she was told the pain she experienced was “just part of being a woman”, and is committed to campaigning for women’s health to be taken seriously.

She continued: “I cannot express the gravity of my emotions as I am beginning to recognise myself again. I felt utterly ashamed as a teenager and young adult being told that my pain was just part of being a woman. I felt lesser. I felt hurt. I felt weak. That is not ok.

“Young girls and women shouldn’t feel alone with pain in the driver’s seat of their lives. We need to take away the stigma of talking about women’s health. It’s time to have open discussions and make change on a global scale.”

Followers responding to Bindi’s post applauded her for speaking out about endometriosis and championing the battle for women’s health, with many saying they are “proud” of her efforts.

One person said: “So proud of you for speaking up and sharing your journey.”

Another added: “I applaud you for raising awareness about this. It’s time women stopped being gaslighted about this and other women’s health issues. I’m glad you’re feeling better and hope the future is brighter and easier when your daughter is your age. Bravo, you!!”

A third stated: “So happy you are healing Bindi and sharing your journey to encourage discussion about this horrific disease.”

Bindi has previously opened up about her struggle to get a diagnosis for endometriosis. She revealed that she had been living with the condition since she was 13, but it took a decade before she underwent her first surgery.

Darius Danesh’s ex-wife speaks out after he died after refusing operation

Former Pop Idol contestant Darius Campbell Danesh died suddenly at the age of 41 in August 2022

Darius Campbell Danesh’ ex-wife has paid tribute to the late singer on the third anniversary of his death.

The former Pop Idol contestant died suddenly at the age of 41 in August 2022 after inhaling chloroethane – also known as ethyl chloride – at his Minnesota apartment.

Three years on from the tragedy, 50-year-old Canadian actress Natasha Henstridge – who filed for divorce from the Colourblind hitmaker in 2013, after just over two years of marriage – has admitted she still misses him dearly.

Alongside a series of pictures of Darius, including one of the couple posing in front of the Eiffel Tower in Paris, she penned on Instagram on August 11: “Love and light always. Miss you today…. Sending love to the Danesh’s and everyone whose life he touched.”

According to his girlfriend, Darius had been “living with a broken neck” and an undiagnosed heart condition when he died.

Lauren Cheek explained that an autopsy revealed that his heart was “twice the size” it should have been and that she believes he used the recreational anaesthetic to alleviate the pain.

She told The Sun on Sunday newspaper: “Darius was living with this heart condition that he didn’t know he had. So many things could have taken him, but this one thing did, and he died in his sleep.

“His mum told me they only found out after they did the autopsy. His heart was twice the size it was supposed to be, which was fitting, because that is genuinely how he was — he had so much love.

“The autopsy also found he was living with a broken neck, but he refused to get help or complain about it. I think he used (chloroethane) because he was in so much pain and he didn’t want to take pills, not even aspirin. That’s what killed him — the substance mixed with his heart and he couldn’t take it.”

Lauren went on to add that Darius – who shot to fame when he gave a memorable rendition of Britney Spears’ hit ‘…Baby One More Time’ on the ITV talent show Popstars before releasing a string of hit singles and eventually going on to star in the West End – had sustained his injuries whilst racing with Hollywood actor Gerard Butler and always “refused” when she urged him to see a doctor.

She added: “He was with Gerry (Butler) in Monaco for the Grand Prix and they slammed into a wall during a race with the Prince of Monaco. I don’t think it ever fully healed and then he rebroke it because he got hit by a car in London a year or two before he died when he was riding a bike.

“And then he got into a car accident with his dad in Scotland. D was in the passenger seat, his dad was driving and someone drove into them.

“He was always in pain and I would beg him to see the doctor, but he refused. He was trying to find a natural remedy.”

Refusing surgery

Darius was battling chronic pain in his neck as a result of two car accidents. The first occurred in Spain in 2010 when he suffered a broken neck. Speaking about the crash to HELLO! he previously told how he came just ‘three millimetres from death’. The singer had been on a lads driving holiday at the time and was on the motorway in sweltering heat. “Because of the haze, we didn’t see that there was a diesel spill on the road. Before we could work out what was going on, it was already too late,” he explained. “The car careered out of control on a bend, and we smashed into a wall at 70mph. My first recollection is my friend, the driver, asking if I was ok.”

He went on to say he remembered feeling a “sharp pain” in his neck before collapsing. Following the accident, Darius is said to have been offered an operation on his neck that could have proved life-changing, however, the singer and actor famously declined the procedure because there was a risk that it could impact his vocal chords.

Ozzy Osbourne’s six-word dig at Taylor Swift resurfaces as Sharon reveals true feelings

An old six-word jab late rock icon Ozzy Osbourne made about Taylor Swift has resurfaced following the news of the release of her new album, The Life of a Showgirl

Before his untimely death on July 22 this year, Ozzy Osbourne shared his true thoughts on pop sensation, Taylor Swift.

At the 2014 Grammys, Black Sabbath’s Ozzy, Tony Iommi, and Geezer Butler took home the Best Metal Performance award for God Is Dead, off their Rick Rubin-produced album 13.

Later, while speaking to the press, the conversation took a strange detour. “You said you were a big fan of Taylor Swift,” Butler teased. “Yes I did,” Ozzy confirmed. “Yes, I am a big fan of Taylor Swift.” Then, without missing a beat, he leaned in and added: “Who the f**k is Taylor Swift?” It comes as Taylor has today announced her brand-new album and a dramatic new look.

The comment was tongue-in-cheek and Swift would soon dominate 2014 with her smash album 1989, which held the Billboard 200’s top spot for 11 weeks and produced three No. 1 hits including Shake It Off, Blank Space, and Bad Blood.

However, Ozzy wasn’t exactly clueless about her success at the time. In fact, he had already met the pop princess and had spoken very highly of her.

That meeting came up later in the year when Taylor made a guest appearance on The Talk. Sharon Osbourne brought up the day she, Ozzy, and their daughter Kelly bumped into Taylor while shopping in L.A.

Sharon remembered Ozzy being struck by her presence as she said: “Finally, out of all the young, new artists, I’ve finally found one that is a true superstar,” he said.

“He said he’d never met anyone that had the aura that you have, because your aura is one of elegance, and just pure, just genuine talent. And he said that you were like Grace Kelly, Audrey Hepburn, all rolled into one.”

Sharon then turned the question around: “Now, what do you remember about my Ozzy?” The songstress replied that his kind words were “the sweetest thing,” and noted how quiet he was during the encounter. “He was too busy staring at you!” Sharon quipped.

The Black Sabbath legend died on July 22, aged 76, surrounded by his wife, Sharon, and children. In recent years, Ozzy had been battling ill health, which he had spoken publicly about, but had been determined to make it to Villa Park for his final performance just days before he died.

Confirming that Ozzy had died last month, a statement from the family, released from his hometown, said: “It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning.

“He was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family privacy at this time. Sharon, Jack, Kelly, Aimee and Louis.”

It comes as global megastar Swift today confirmed the release of her latest album following weeks of speculation. The pop star appeared on a podcast with her boyfriend, Super Bowl champ Travis Kelce, and his brother Jason, which over 1.3 million people tuned in for the live event.

But while Taylor is notoriously private and rarely gives interviews, the Bad Blood songstress offered an insight into the record, which will be released in October. Her new record, which she wrote on her Eras Tour and recorded to in Sweden, will feature 12 tracks, including a duet with Sabrina Carpenter.

Speaking about the album, Taylor said: “This album is about what was going on behind the scenes in my inner life during this tour, which was so exuberant and electric and vibrant.” It comes after Taylor Swift announces Sabrina Carpenter duet and The Life of a Showgirl release date.

Taylor Swift has recalled a major issue she ran into when she met Prince William, Prince George and Princess Charlotte backstage at her Eras Tour show in London.

In June 2024, the American singer met the royal family at Wembley Arena, alongside her football player boyfriend Travis Kelce and his brother Jason.

The Wales’ took a selfie with Taylor backstage before the show, and she posted it to social media with the caption: “Happy Bday M8! London shows are off to a splendid start”. The star tagged Prince William in the post, acknowledging his birthday that fell on the same day as the sold-out concert. It comes after Kate Middleton halts her summer break to release new video with emotional statement.

Now one year on from the iconic moment, Taylor, Travis and Jason discussed the royal meeting on the Kelce brother’s New Heights podcast, with Swift as the surprise guest on the episode.

Taylor Swift said, as the trio discussed their trip to London: “Wasn’t this the week I got to watch Jason meet the Royal Family? I watched him have this moment with his beer where he was like, ‘But I want to take it, but I know that I probably should not take it’. I watched this happen, and it kind of was the most amazing thing.”

Jason replied: “I like that you picked up on it because that was exactly what was going through my head.” He then asked: “Is it disrespectful to have a beer when you meet royalty?”

Taylor Swift replied: “Yeah, or is it authentic by having the beer? I would normally have the beer, wouldn’t they want me to be myself? I’m watching you say that in your head.”

According to a source at the time, Prince William had a ‘nightmare’ getting into the Wembley show with his children, who added that the family were running late to the gig and almost missed the concert entirely.

“They had a nightmare getting in, they were running really late but they had planned to get there earlier so they could have the meet and greet with Taylor beforehand because they knew they wanted to leave early,” they told HELLO!.

“They only had 25 minutes to spare so had a quick meet and greet and then went up to their box before the show, and there was a bit of stress and panic about that because it was taking too long.”

Thankfully, everything fell into place and William and his children were able to meet the superstar before taking their seats in the balcony area. As the concert drew to a close, the royals had to make an early exit, leaving ten minutes before the end of the show to avoid the rush of eager Swifties.

In the months after the Eras tour show in the UK, Travis Kelce’s mother Donna lifted the lid on her son’s royal meeting, saying how humbling the moment was for her footballer son.

Donna said: “He said that ‘When you meet people like that, you know when the royals come in or Paul McCartney or Hugh Grant… you’re just like, who in this picture doesn’t fit? Why am I here and why am I even allowed to talk to these individuals? It just doesn’t seem right.'”

Oasis fan, 30, dies hours before concert after falling ill in hotel room

A fan of Oasis died just hours before he was due to see the band perform in Scotland. Alessandro Croce, 30, from Teramo in Italy, had flown in to see Liam and Noel Gallagher perform at their second show at Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh last week, as part of their mammoth Oasis Live’25 tour across the United Kingdom and Europe.

Sadly, the dentist fell ill at his hotel just hours before the concert, and despite attempts from emergency services and his friends, he died. Social media has been filled with tributes to the dentist, who was also a keen basketball player.

The mayor of his hometown, Gianguido D’Alberto said the town was “united in grief.” In a statement, D’Alberto, said: “The city of Teramo is united in grief over the loss of Alessandro Croce. I offer the Croce family the condolences and closeness of the municipal administration and the whole community in this difficult time.”

“A wonderful boy, a wonderful family, who came to us from Teramo to start the University, then brilliantly finished to take on the same dentist profession as his father, he became a beniamon of all, loved for his untamed character on the field, for his smile and for his absolute manners. One of the stars of our first unforgettable senior season, when a team of dribbles, practically under, in the first year of Serie C stunned everyone reaching the playoffs with out-of-the-box games against experienced and bigger opponents, a group of brothers on and off the field that dragged literally everything the audience.

“We like to remember him this way, with the joy of him and his teammates, that we will never forget, about that team that everyone still has in their hearts. And we will all have Ale in our hearts forever, absolutely forever. It’s not fair, it can’t be fair, you can’t die at thirty.”

Following the devastating news, those who knew Alessandro have taken to social media to pay tribute.  One person said: “Honoured to have met Alessandro, after a few months his empathy, sensitivity and kindness are already evident… Values of other times A great loss for the world. Rest In Peace.”

A second person said: “R.I.P. Alessandro, wonderful boy. We will miss you a lot. It was always a pleasure to talk and compete with you. Condolences to the whole family. Goodbye, great doctor. I love you.” “News I never wanted to read. Alessandro is a golden boy not only in terms of sport but above all as a person… My heart aches and my thoughts are with his family,” wrote a third.

The devastating news comes after a fan of the band fell to his death at their concert held at Wembley Stadium in London. Lee Claydon had been sitting in the Level 5 area of the national stadium during the sold-out concert. He is understood to have fallen from a high level and suffered “injuries consistent with a fall.” He had attended the concert with his brother, Aaron, his niece and his nephew.

Although he wasn’t in attendance, Lee’s dad believes that he may have slipped on beer due to the floors being wet. “There was beer all over the floor, it was really slippery, and Lee just slipped and fell,” he told The Sun. “I’ve been told that it was an accident waiting to happen. It was a horrible, horrible accident.”

Meghan Markle brutally snubbed by her own podcast guest in ‘diva row’

An A-list celebrity, who previously appeared on Meghan’s podcast, has snubbed the Duchess of Sussex in a strange interview. It comes after an awkward exchange between the pair

Meghan Markle has been snubbed by an A-list celebrity who previously appeared on the her podcast, in a bizarre interview.

Legendary singer Mariah Carey was asked about her royal connections in an interview with Hits Radio, in which she discussed her upcoming performance at King Charles’ Sandringham House.

Instead of name dropping Meghan Markle, in a brutal snub, Mariah instead cited meeting Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York, who she fondly described as “cool”. Mariah chose not to mention the Duchess of Sussex, who she met in 2022 when she appeared on her early Archetypes podcast. It comes after it emerged Meghan Markle’s ‘inappropriate’ living request was ‘firmly denied’ by late Queen.

Mariah Carey has snubbed Meghan Markle in an awkward interview moment

Some have suggested that Mariah’s snub could be reference to an awkward moment between the two on the podcast when the songstress branded Meghan a ‘Diva’ – something she was quick to clarify wasn’t a bad thing.

The pair discussed the “complexities surrounding the word diva” and lifted the lid on the negative connotations associated with it before Carey accused the Duchess of being a “diva”, herself.

Remarking that the description was tied to Meghan’s posture, clothing and her “gorgeous ensembles”, she insisted that it wasn’t a dig at her personality, however the exchange remained awkwardly strained despite Mariah’s clarification.

Meghan said on the podcast: “I think that’s really important for people to remember that there might be this persona, and yes, the diva thing, we can play into,” before adding: “It’s not something I connect to.”

However, Mariah was quick to disagree, insisting that Meghan was on occasion, a little diva-like herself: “You give us diva moments sometimes, Meghan…”

“What kind of diva moments do I give you?” a shocked Meghan replied, to which the singer said: “Don’t act like…”, before the Duchess questioned: “Can you see me right now?”

“It’s also the visual, it’s the visual,” Mariah explained. “A lot of it is the look, let’s say you, let’s pretend that you weren’t so beautiful and didn’t have the whole thing, and didn’t often have gorgeous ensembles, you wouldn’t maybe get as much diva.”

“I don’t care, I’m like when I can, I’m going to give you diva,'” she added. Clearly disagreeing on the subject, Meghan then calmly retorted: “That’s the thing, I associate it differently.”
