BBC’s Ozzy Osbourne documentary gets new release date after being pulled from schedules

Fans have a personal and intimate look at Ozzy Osbourne’s final three years in the UK thanks to the “intimate” BBC film documenting his passing.

The BBC has confirmed a new release date for an ‘intimate film’ about the late Ozzy Osbourne’s life after it was mysteriously pulled from TV schedules last month.

Sharon & Ozzy Osbourne: Coming Home will now air at 9pm on Thursday October 2 and will be available to watch on BBC iPlayer shortly after being broadcast on BBC One. Shot over three years, it will document the final chapter of the Black Sabbath frontman’s life following his death at the age of 76 on July 22 shortly after his last ever gig with the band in his beloved hometown of Birmingham.

Ozzy had numerous surgeries and years of chronic illness, including Parkinson’s Disease and a spinal injury. On his death certificate, the Prince of Darkness listed Parkinson’s disease and coronary artery disease as contributing causes, which were also listed as contributing factors. His industry included the roles of “rock legend, songwriter, and performer.”

Fans will have “unique and intimate access to the entire Osbourne family,” according to the new one-hour long BBC documentary, including Kelly, 40, and Jack, 39, Ozzy’s beloved wife of 43 years.

The final chapter of Ozzy’s life is followed by the intimate movie, which was shot over three years with his wife Sharon, their two children Kelly and Jack, as well as their close friends.

He and Sharon decide it’s time to move back to the English country house in Buckinghamshire where they once raised their family after 25 years living in LA. But before he retires entirely, he also has a burning desire to give his loyal fans one more performance.

It follows the star as he pursues his goals with the determination, blistering honesty, and razor-sharp sense of humor that have endeared him to millions for more than 50 years.

Ozzy and Sharon moving back to the UK was originally intended to be a series called Home To Roost. However, the project “performed” into the one-hour film as Ozzy’s health “deteriorated,” according to the BBC.

The rock legend’s life was then turned into a documentary when the depressing news of his passing broke two weeks after his final concert at home. The impact of this working-class hero is undoubtedly palpable, according to the BBC. The film paints a candid and moving portrait of Birmingham’s favorite son and the Birmingham family that cherished and supported him throughout his final performance and life’s final chapter.

We are honored to have had the chance to film with Ozzy and his family, said Clare Sillery, head of BBC Documentaries. As they prepare to return to the UK, the movie provides an inside look at their journey.

It features family occurrences, humor, reflection, and a strong sense of community that made Ozzy a household name. As Ozzy’s fans and viewers remember and celebrate his extraordinary life, we hope it brings comfort and joy to them.

Executive producers at Expectation, Ben Wicks and Colin Barr, described their time with Ozzy as well as Sharon, Jack, and Kelly as “unreal privileges.” Our film is an inspiring and moving account of how much Ozzy aspired to return to the UK and perform on stage once more.

In the final years of his life, Ozzy was adored by millions all over the world for his sense of mischief and honesty, both of which he was known for. However, one thing stood out to us that was even more profound: Ozzy’s deep affection for his extraordinary family, who remained by his side throughout.

*Watch Ozzy Osbourne and Sharon &amp on BBC One starting at 9 p.m. on Thursday, October 2.

ITV’s Davina McCall eats 19p breakfast food to stop cravings for slim figure

Davina has been very open with about her health and fitness routines

Davina McCall will reportedly eat a simple yet affordable breakfast brimming with nutritional goodness most mornings. It might be perfect for anyone wanting to ditch a hard-to-break habit of sneaking in a mid-morning snack.

The 57-year-old has previously spoken about her frightening brain tumour ordeal. The Masked Singer panellist and mum-of-three went under the knife for major surgery to extract a colloid cyst, a rare fluid-filled benign growth, from her brain in November 2024.

The former Big Brother presenter has consistently been open with followers regarding her wellness, health and fitness, sharing her lifestyle decisions on Instagram, reports the Mirror. During a chat with Hello Magazine, she revealed some simple-to-cope diet decisions that help her feel at her peak through delicious yet nourishing meals.

One thing that Davina swears by every morning is a proper breakfast. She told HELLO: “I would probably have granola and milk for breakfast. But sometimes, I’ll do a crumpet if I’m naughty.”

Other stars have told their fans about this being their morning preference too. GK Barry, a popular podcast host and TikToker who appears often on ITV’s Loose Women, said she’s “constantly on the go with work” so is a “big fan” of granola.

Granola is usually found in supermarket cereal aisles and is available in various ready-made varieties. Some prefer to stick with the plain base, and others go a little extra and create their own personalised mix using fruits and yoghurts for a naturally sweet morning kick-start.

You can pick up a packet of granola relatively cheaply at the supermarket. There’s a basic option in Asda beginning at just £1.92 a box, working out at about 19p per 100g portion.

The high-protein cereal helps to keep the ‘hunger hormone’ ghrelin in check, promoting instead the hormone leptin. This gives you a feeling of fullness, helping to stave off the urge to snack between meals. Keeping this mindset can help maintain or even boost weight loss over time. Granola is also a great source of fibre, which can help you feel satisfied after eating.

However, a word of warning is advised not to overindulge in this seemingly healthy option. Pre-packaged varieties can often be high in sugars and can potentially become calorie-dense and high in saturated fats as we add various toppings, so it’s always best to thoroughly check the labels.

The busy mum pairs her morning meal with a cup of collagen-boosted tea. In a chat with Get The Gloss, she shared that she prefers bovine collagen, which is available in powder or pill form.

Shop Stacey Solomon’s oversized sweater that’s ‘lovely for autumn and winter’

Stacey Solomon fans were desperate to know where she bought her cosy beige sweater, and we think we’ve tracked down her exact one with H&amp, M’s mohair blend jumper

It’s official – it’s sweater weather. With temperatures dropping and that autumn chill officially here to stay, there’s nothing better than a snuggly jumper to keep you warm and cosy. When Stacey Solomon posted on her Instagram stories chatting away in a beige oversized jumper, her fans were popping up in comments beginning for details.

Whilst Stacey didn’t reveal exactly where to shop her jumper, we think we may have tracked it down, and it’s available on the high street. We believe her jumper is H&amp, M’s beige Oversized Mohair-Blend Jumper, which you can usually pick up for £64.99, although it’s currently got 15% off, slashing it down to £55.25 for today only.

The beige jumper is made from a combination of 32% mohair and 32% wool which means it’s thick, cosy and will keep you ultra warm during the autumn and winter months. Although Stacey opted for the beige version, you can also pick up the Oversized Mohair-Blend Jumper in 11 other colours, including neutrals like black, cream and grey, as well as brighter shades like pink, yellow and orange.

Its oversized fit and boxy shape make it a great layering piece for the autumn and winter months, and it has wide fit sleeves that give it that cosy feel. The relaxed fit is also perfect for wearing a T-shirt or shirt underneath, which some shoppers may prefer if you tend to find mohair a little on the itchy side.

H&amp, M also has another version, which has a higher blend of wool to make it even warmer. The Oversized Mohair-Blend Jumper might have the same name on the H&amp, M website, but it’s made from 45% wool and 32% mohair, and is priced at £84.99, or £72.25 in the limited time sale.

Alternatively, M&S has an Alpaca Blend Textured Relaxed Jumper for £50, which comes in a similar beige colour, as well as dark burgundy and olive green. The M&S jumper has a slightly slimmer and cropped fit than the H&M oversized one, which makes it great for looking more put together.

Meanwhile at Nobody’s Child, the Beige Crew Neck Oversized Merino Wool Jumper is also on sale, down from £95 to £65, and you can even get an extra 20% discount when you use the code EXTRA20. It also has a slightly more muted beige colourway, with a relaxed, oversized fit that’s perfect for the colder weather.

At H&amp, M, the Oversized Mohair-Blend Jumper has also gotten rave reviews from shoppers, with one saying: “Beautiful sweater, great quality and a lovely colour for autumn winter. I’m UK 14 and the XS in perfect, still a little oversized, any bigger would have been far too big. Bought same jumper in dark grey and navy marl last year, now adding this lovely burgundy to my collection. Love these mohair sweaters so much, have also ordered the light grey too”.

Another agreed: “Great oversized soft feel jumper. It is very oversized. I am wearing size 10/12 and bought XS. Small was huge on me and sleeves were a way too long. Go for one size smaller. XS is still oversized and very roomy but sleeves are perfect length. I bought a few colours. All are beautiful and warm”.

However, some weren’t quite as pleased with their purchase. One said: “Such a shame, I’m a size 16 on top with 36G bust so ordered a medium considering this is described as oversized but the cut was a little too fitted for oversized. Would probably try a large but whilst it’s a lovely colour, the fit is too bulky/boxy for me. Sadly returning…”.

Meanwhile another struggled with the Oversized Mohair-Blend Jumper‘s material, writing: “I know there’s a lot of love for this jumper, but was the itchiest thing ever! There’s no way I could wear this without feeling super uncomfortable. It is oversized so would size down, if you want it to be super baggy just get your regular size”!

However others loved it, saying: “It’s a lovely jumper. I have the bright red from last winter which is my fave so I wanted to get another in a more neutral. This one, although the same composition of fabric doesn’t feel as good as the red from last year and hasn’t worn as nicely. It’s still good but it’s just not AS good. Will I buy another? Probably. I do really love them. I’m 5’8 and average to slim build and medium was great. Perfectly oversized”.

Weezer bassist’s wife granted mental health diversion after LA cop shooting

The wife of Weezer bassist Scott Shriner has been approved for a two-year mental health diversion program after allegedly firing at police during a manhunt in her Los Angeles neighborhood.

Jillian Shriner, 52, was charged back in April after the incident in Eagle Rock, where officers were tracking three suspects who had fled a freeway crash. Amid the search, Shriner is accused of opening fire, sparking chaos on the residential street.

The LA County District Attorney’s office today confirmed the deal, noting: “If she successfully completes the conditions of the diversion, the case will be dismissed by the court”.

According to authorities, officers spotted Jillian, also known by her maiden name, Jillian Lauren, outside her home holding a handgun. Police say she ignored “numerous” commands to drop the weapon before opening fire.

She was then shot in the shoulder by an LAPD officer and treated for non-life-threatening injuries. No officers were hurt during the incident.

Footage from the scene shows Jillian, barefoot, being handcuffed and led to a police vehicle. She was later booked on attempted murder charges and released after posting $1 million bail.

Police recovered a 9-millimeter handgun from the Shriner residence. A family babysitter detained during the standoff was later released, KTLA reported.

Her husband Scott was seen walking his dogs near their home the following day and told the New York Post: “See you at Coachella”, adding that his wife was “alright”.

The couple has been married since 2005 and share two adopted children.

Under the diversion program, LA County Superior Court Judge Susan De Witt has ordered Jillian to abstain from drugs and alcohol, attend weekly therapy sessions, submit to random testing, participate in three Alcoholics Anonymous meetings per week, and refrain from owning firearms or knives.

The DA’s office noted that “any violation” could end the program and return her to court. She is scheduled to report on her progress on January 9.

The confrontation occurred as police were pursuing three suspects who fled a multi-car crash on the freeway.

Witnesses reported one suspect, bleeding from multiple injuries, fleeing down a bank in his underwear and attempting to hide in a swimming pool before officers reached the Shriner home.

Outside of her marriage, Jillian Shriner is a bestselling nonfiction author. Weezer, formed in 1992 and known for hits including Say It Ain’t So, features Rivers Cuomo, Patrick Wilson, Brian Bell, and Scott Shriner. The band has one sold-out UK show scheduled in London this year.

Max George shares sad health update after heading back to hospital

The Wanted singer Max George has revealed that he was back in hospital following a health scare ahead of the group’s highly anticipated US tour

Max George has been rushed to hospital ahead of The Wanted’s US tour.

The 37-year-old singer, who is dating former EastEnders actress Maisie Smith, suffered a devastating health set back after he posted a video showing him sat in a hospital waiting room – with a five hour wait time.

This comes after it was reported that the singer, who had previously dated Michelle Keegan, had undergone two major heart operations and was given a pacemaker.

He accompanied his post with two sick emojis and captioned it saying: “Current waiting time: approximately 5 hours”. It still remains unknown the nature of his latest health scare.

Earlier this year, Max’s second operation which was carried out in secret, was to rectify the fact that his pacemaker wires had been inserted too deep.

The singer turned actor posted a picture of himself lay down in a hospital bed wearing a medical gown. He told fans: “Tin man needed a bit of oil before tour. Next stop… USA!! “!

Max was first taken into hospital back in 2024 after medics diagnosed him with a heart block. But his recovery was nothing short of painful as he was left suffering since his operation.

According to reports, he was also dealt another blow after doctors warned him that he may never sing again as he endured a lung biopsy, to investigate a separate health scare.

Max even described his recovery as “rough”.

Speaking to Heat magazine following his operation, he admitted: “It’s probably taken me until about the last two weeks to almost fully recover where I feel normal”.

He continued: “When I wake up in the morning, my energy’s much higher now. I’m getting there. It’s taken a while, but I feel really good”.

And his bandmate Siva Kaneswaran added: “You’ve come a long way. I’m very proud of you. You should have seen him in January or February, we’re very lucky that he’s recovered very fast… I’d let him know if he was lagging”!

Siva and Max are the only two original members of The Wanted to tour America and announced their tour plans last year.

The duo are set to perform across North America along with the UK. They have since renamed themselves The Wanted 2.0.
