Molly-Mae and Olivia Hawkins lead stars removing fillers as cosmetic experts reveal why

Cosmetic experts have revealed the rising trend sweeping across the celebrity world as stars including Olivia Hawkins, Molly-Mae Hague and Lottie Moss have got their fillers removed

Olivia Hawkins, Molly-Mae Hague and Lottie Moss are just a few of the famous faces making huge changes to their appearances, as cosmetic experts have taken note. In recent months, clinics say they have seen a shift in demand for filler with stars from across the entertainment industry leading the way.

Love Island star Olivia became the latest celebrity to dissolve her lip filler as she revealed her stunning transformation. She admitted she “didn’t recognise herself” as she gushed about the results of her cosmetic procedure.

Olivia said it had been so long since she first got them done that she doesn’t look like herself anymore and “can’t get used to it”. The Celebs Go Dating star added that she had wanted to dissolve her lip filler for “the longest time” and that she hadn’t seen her natural lips since 2021.

It seems Olivia isn’t the only celebrity to reverse their treatments as clinics have seen an increased demand across the board. Dr Riccardo Frati, who is one of the UK’s top cosmetic surgeons, told the Mirror : “In my opinion, there has been an increased demand for filler removals due to the general trend of looking for a more natural look.

“Most celebrities I believe may have taken it ‘too far’, and have now realised that their look was far too unnatural, and in some cases, overcorrected.” Dr Gizem Seymenoglu, a medical aesthetician in Longevita’s London Clinic, agreed as she noted people are opting for a natural look.

She told us: “I’d call it part of the so-called ‘undetectable era’ where people want their injectables to look as natural as possible. It’s basically a reaction to the days of overfilled lips, cheeks and puffy under eyes, which made the face look stretched and overdone.

“Now, it’s all about subtle tweaks that complement rather than change the face. Also, I’d say there’s a growing awareness that fillers aren’t suitable for everyone.”

However, she added: “This doesn’t mean that fillers are completely out. There are still people who get amazing results with fillers.” Dr Gizem Seymenoglu has seen the under-eyes become the most requested area for filler dissolution thanks to other treatments becoming readily available.

Salmon sperm and skin boosters are being used instead as they can improve skin quality without the need for filler. Dr Frati explained: “The impact shows less request for fillers and in particular, lip fillers – the current trend I believe is using the fillers to restore a nice, natural shape rather than featuring a fake or artificial look, such as extremely enhanced lips and cheeks.”

Dr Frati said the cost of getting fillers removed can be between £500 to £1500 per session while Dr Seymenoglu told us she would charge £295 per area for a single session of filler dissolution.

Explaining the procedure, she added: “Fillers made with hyaluronic acid can be dissolved with an enzyme called hyaluronidase. But it’s not as simple as just injecting the enzyme into the target area.

“Hyaluronidase comes in powder form, and first, it’s prepared by being mixed with saline. Afterwards, it’s tested on the arm of the patient for an allergic reaction.” They would then move onto the face where numbing cream is applied if needed followed by a light massage.

Molly-Mae Hague is just one of the stars who has embraced a more natural appearance following her cosmetic work. She had reportedly spent thousands on lip and jaw fillers but has undone the work.

The Love Island star has even toned down her dazzling teeth as she had her composite bonds removed. Reflecting on her cosmetic work, Molly-Mae candidly said: “It looked horrendous. Someone took a screenshot of my video and it went viral.

“‘What’s Molly done to her face?’ was the response. I was mortified. The reality was that my once-sharp jawline had jowls hanging underneath, my lips felt lumpy, uneven and unnatural.”

Model Lottie Moss had her lip filler removed as she admitted to feeling more like herself. She shared with her fans: “I dissolved everything in my face that I had before.

“I used to have jaw filler, which looked awful, and I used to have lip filler, but it’s all gone now, and I look like me again.” Sisters Frankie and Chloe Sims have both joined the dissolving trend as the TOWIE stars shared the results of their new looks.

Chloe became one of the first stars to make the shift as she admitted: “I’m really happy that I’ve toned it all down and as you know I think it’s important to be honest with things like this. It’s my personal choice and that makes me feel confident.”

Frankie has since had her lip and under eye fillers dissolved after becoming concerned about puffiness and discoloration. She revealed she wanted to “remove everything from the past” and “embrace becoming more natural.”

Developed by Dr Dev Patel, multi-award-winning aesthetics doctor, and stocked in over 180 UK clinics, Pigment Correct harnesses advanced brightening actives in a vegan, cruelty-free, ethically responsible formula that’s suitable for all skin types. Its unique blend works to gently but powerfully reduce melanin overproduction, revealing clearer, more radiant skin.

Over time, sun exposure, hormonal changes and environmental factors all contribute to dullness and uneven tone, but this Pigment Correct serum promises to restore clarity and radiance when it becomes a staple in your beauty routine. Unlike many brightening products that focus only on prevention, this advanced formula actively targets existing pigmentation while helping to prevent future discolouration.

Boasting a potent blend of Kojic Acid, Rumex Occidentalis Extract, and Nonapeptide-1, this formula delivers exceptional melanin regulation, while hyaluronic acid adds deep hydration to keep skin supple and comfortable. Within just four weeks, most users report a noticeable transformation, with their skin appearing fresher, clearer, and more luminous.

How to Use: Apply 4–5 drops in a thin layer to pigmented areas, morning and evening, and allow to dry before layering further products. A little goes a long way, making Pigment Correct an essential daily step in achieving radiant, healthy-looking skin.

The serum’s key benefits include:

  • Advanced hydration,
  • Significant reduction in dark spots, age spots and general discolouration,
  • Brighter, more radiant skin,
  • Reduces PIH risk post-procedure or trauma,
  • Antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties,
  • Enhances the penetration of other active ingredients

Although this serum doesn’t have any reviews on Debenhams’ website, numerous users have taken to CellDerma’s TrustPilot to sing its praises. One reviewer enthuses: “Efficient delivery. My skin feels and looks amazing. I particularly like that I can use the product around my eyes.”

Another comments: “My skin has never been so wonderful.”

Further praise comes from this buyer who beams: “Love this product and have been using it for around 18 months.”

Though one shopper was less than impressed, writing: “Unfortunately for the price, it didn’t make a difference to my skin after consistent use for 4 months.”

The biggest downside some might find with this serum is the relatively steep price of £173.25. If this is outside of your budget, there are other pigmentation-reducing products that could do the trick.

Victoria Beckham opens up about emotional conversation with Harper on eating disorders

Ahead of her Netflix documentary launch, Victoria Beckham decided to speak to her daughter about some of the personal topics that would be addressed on the show

Victoria Beckham has revealed the deeply personal conversation she had with her 14-year-old daughter, Harper, ahead of the release of her new Netflix documentary.

The former Spice Girl, 51, explained that she felt it was crucial to open up to her daughter before the world learned about the eating disorder she secretly battled for decades. During her recent docu-series, Posh Spice bravely opened up about her past experience with eating disorders, admitting that her image became something she was able to have control over.

She also disclosed that she managed to hide her struggles from her family. Victoria said: “We just had a really honest conversation, and I explained that when you have issues with food, it is all consuming. It is sad. It’s a very lonely place. I thought it was important that she heard it from me before she saw it at the theatre.”

Victoria’s new documentary series offers an unprecedented look into her personal life, touching on her years in the spotlight, the pressures of fame, and the toll that public scrutiny took on her body image.

It was before the premiere that she sat down with Harper to make sure her daughter understood Victoria’s struggles from her perspective.

“I’ve talked about food with Harper before,” Victoria explained to the Daily Mail. “The one thing that doesn’t seem to change is that little girls think a lot about food as they’re growing up, when their bodies are changing and they’re going through puberty.

“My wish for Harper is that she has a really healthy relationship with food, and that she eats healthily. We all want to treat ourselves as well, but it’s about balance.”

In the documentary, Victoria opens up about what it was like to face speculation over her weight for years. She recalls one particularly cruel moment from her Spice Girl days, where she was weighed live on air by Chris Evans on TFI Friday, just two months after giving birth to her son, Brooklyn.

The fashion designer admitted that her children were shocked to see the level of sexism and public humiliation she faced at the time. “All of the kids were really, really shocked with what they saw in that documentary,” she said.

“It wouldn’t happen now. And the truth is, it really hurt. Words can really hurt people – I always say this to the children. Words are so powerful, and you really have to choose your words carefully.”

Victoria’s husband, David Beckham, previously admitted to feeling “disgusted” at the way she was treated by the media in her younger years.

Although she initially was nervous about being followed by cameras for a year, Victoria said that in the end she felt liberated by the process of making her documentary.

“I wasn’t sure about having a camera crew following me, but David convinced me that it was the right thing to do,” she shared. “I am a control freak, but now I’m a reformed control freak, and that was quite liberating.”

Strictly’s Tom Skinner’s ‘devastated’ wife reveals she kicked him out after affair

Prior to his first appearance on this year’s Strictly Come Dancing, Tom Skinner revealed he had a two-week “fling” behind his wife Sinead’s back, just weeks after their wedding.

Thomas Skinner’s wife has revealed that after his affair, she kicked him out of their family home. He made headlines for all of the wrong reasons prior to his short stint on Strictly Come Dancing after admitting to having a “fling” behind his wife Sinead’s back, and now Tom’s other half has revealed exactly what happened when he came clean about the affair to her.

One week before his first appearance on the BBC One show, The Apprentice star, 34, confessed to a “two-week fling” with a beauty clinic boss and said, “it was the biggest mistake of my life.”

Speaking about her husband’s infidelity for the first time, Sinead admitted she kicked him out of the family home after being left devastated by the news. She explained: “When he first told me what had happened, I made him leave. I was devastated.

“I will never forget Thomas telling me. I remember thinking, ‘I never thought this would happen to me’. It was one of the worst days of my life. I only told one friend, nobody else.”

Sinead added to The Sun: “But we eventually worked it out. I just knew how much I love him and I wanted to work it out. He made a mistake. It was a tough time. One of his friends had just died.”

She explained that the cheating was in the past for them and they are now “stronger than ever”. Despite his scandal, Sinead admits that the couple are stronger than ever and have gone on to welcome their twin daughters together. But it was his stint on Strictly which brought the cheating to light. “It has been hell,” she revealed.

The mum-of-three went on to explain that it’s been “horrendous” having to re-live that chapter all over again, especially since the pair had put it behind them in an effort to start again.

Back in September, the BBC star said that he had a two-week fling with Amy-Lucy Rourke, 35, and “it is the biggest mistake of my life.” He continued: “I met her in a pub. She was a single mum. We chatted on the phone, and she offered me some kind of cosmetic slimming treatments.”

He told The Sun: “It was nothing more than that. It was the one time; it was a mistake. I woke up feeling absolutely terrible about it. I felt so guilty. I told my wife. I let her down in that brief moment of madness where I wasn’t thinking, where I didn’t appreciate what I had. I’m sorry. I’m so, so sorry.”

However, just days after he went public with the affair, Amy came forward and claimed he had told her she was the “love of his life” and the fling had actually been three months long.

She claimed to the Daily Mail: “We were originally friends, but with his sweet-talking and his lies, he made me believe we were in love. He would stand in the mirror with me and say, ‘Look, we’ll be Mr and Mrs Skinner’. That is actually traumatising to me.

“You don’t say that to someone when you’re already happily married. I fell in love with him, but Thomas is nothing but a liar and a cheat.” Thomas and Sinead first met at a bar in London in 2018 and got engaged two years later. The fling occurred shortly after their wedding in May 2022, when they were already parents to their son, now four years old.

The pair also now have identical twin daughters who are two years old. Tom and his Strictly partner Amy Dowden were the first to be eliminated from this year’s show after landing in the bottom two with Chris Robshaw and Nadiya Bychkova. All four judges unanimously decided to save Chris over Tom.

During his exit interview with Tess Daly, he gushed: “Thank you, Amy – sorry that we haven’t done too good, ’cause you’re a different class.

“I’ve never danced before and my stay was short, but Amy’s amazing. It’s been great fun and I’ve enjoyed it. I can’t really dance that well but I’ve had fun!”

Strictly Come Dancing continues on Sunday night at 7:15pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.

ITV Coronation Street’s Brooke Vincent reveals huge return update – six years after exit

Brooke Vincent has revealed her plans to return to Coronation Street, six years after her character, Sophie Webster, was last seen on the ITV soap opera

Brooke Vincent has hinted at a return to Coronation Street in the near future. Her character, Sophie Webster, was last seen on screens in Weatherfield on October 9, 2019, before the actress took maternity leave, 15 years after she first waltzed onto the famous cobbled street.

She decided to take an extended period of leave due to not taking a “typical” maternity leave period. But with her two children now growing up, the 33-year-old has revealed she would be in a position to return to the programme should the call come in from soap bosses.

During her final appearance on the show, viewers saw Sophie go travelling after inheriting money from her Aunty Vi, with her character leaving Weatherfield in a taxi as she headed to the airport. But this could all change in the near future.

“I feel like Corrie for me is home,” Brooke exclusively told the Mirror. The Audenshaw-born actress went on to add: “Whenever, if ever, they ask me, I’d love to go back and see them. It’s a different type of job now we’ve got the boys. I’ve got a lot of friends there, it’s like my family.

“It’s such a lovely place to work, so definitely, I feel like I’ve had such a long time off that I’ve been able to enjoy my children without the schedule of how hard it can sometimes be. I think obviously now they’re a bit older and they’re a bit more independent, and there’s obviously the opportunity to take on more work.

“It’s the adult conversation, routine, it’s always a gorgeous place for me to work, and I have gone off and worked in different environments with different people, but Corrie is a huge part of me, and I feel incredibly lucky to have that.” During her leave from the show, Brooke has thrown herself into various projects, including presenting on Hits Radio as well as a touring appearance in Kay Mellor’s The Syndicate, alongside Max George and Gaynor Faye.

She said: “It was fab! I loved the play, I had a ball. It was a Kay Mellor play, so I felt incredibly lucky to be working alongside Gaynor (Faye) and Kay’s grandson, Ollie. It was a family production and we embraced our roles in it.

It was hard when I was working away, navigating uniform, hobbies, what do they need, there’s a lot that goes into being a parent. And when it’s paired with something that is also quite hard, sometimes, juggling it all, it can be quite difficult. On the whole, I had a ball and I absolutely loved it.”

Brooke grew up on screens, while her partner, Kean Bryan, made a name for himself on the football pitch, playing for the likes of Manchester City and Oldham Athletic, witht the couple now sharing sons Mexx, six, and Monroe, four, but she admits she has reservations about if their children were to follow in their footsteps.

She revealed: “It’s quite daunting when you’re a parent and they want to go into the profession you’re familiar with. Acting and footballer, those two professions are constantly proving yourself, getting up from rejection and dealing with that, growing with that.

“That’s something, my two little boys are so small, I’m like ‘I don’t want you to do that’, the thing that I love about them getting older, their personalities are coming out now, and you get to see what they enjoy and are good at.

“One of my little boys is a real performer; it’s nice to see them growing up and choosing what they want to do. I don’t know how I’d feel. I’d be super supportive, but there’s also a deeper level of understanding of what mentally you sometimes have to go through with these jobs. You want them to have the easiest life.”

While Brooke’s life may look super relaxed on her social media pages, the actress admits that every day is a struggle in the family home, saying: “Any parent will tell you, the second you have to think about other people and the dynamic of kids, school, uniform, which child has which hobby, it’s a different dynamic. Sometimes it’s like juggling in the dark; you’ve got no clue if you’ve gotten through the day.

“I literally just wing it. Every single day, I wing it. Some days, I win at it, and some days I don’t. That’s the reality of what life is like now. My job isn’t necessarily a job where I know I’m going to be, what time I’m going to start, or what time to finish.”

Her online followers often see Mexx and Monroe mocking Brooke’s outfits but she admits she finds this hilarious as children have “no filter” until they’re much older. Laughing about their brutal comments, she explained: “The kids, they’re very funny, they tell the truth – there’s been times where I think I look really good, I go downstairs and they go ‘What have you got on?!’

“They don’t let you off with anything. Or if I’ve got a spot, they’ll be like ‘Mum, what is that spot?’ There’s definitely power in their words, freedom of speech; they don’t have a filter until they’re a little bit older, it’s funny.”

Most recently, Brooke joined forces with Emmerdale actor Danny Miller and Capital FM broadcaster Wingman to discuss their parenting experiences on a hilarious podcast. However, the podcast has been a long time coming, with Brooke revealing the trio had been discussing ideas in a group chat prior to signing a deal.

Speaking about the project, she said: “Finally, it’s out there, which is a bit surreal. We’ve sat and recorded some eps, when other people get to hear it, it’s been nice, it’s fun, we like it, we’re having a good life.

We’re all in the same industry, we’ve been brought up very differently, our stories on the pod are about being parents, it’s very much tongue in cheek. There’s a lot of laughs, it’s nonsense, just getting together and having a good laugh.

I feel like ours is refreshing; it’s just fun, we have an absolute ball. It’s been funny to see how one conversation will start and the next we’re off on a tangent. It’s not super polished – we’re just being nuisances constantly. It’s a real, feel-good podcast.”

Prince William’s four-word response after Harry bombshell at Eugenie’s wedding

At Princess Eugenie’s wedding, which took place seven years ago today, the Prince of Wales had a telling four-word response after the Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced they were pregnant with their first child

Seven years ago today, Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank tied the knot in a stunning ceremony at Windsor Castle in front of the entire royal family. On the same day, a secret held by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle was shared, making the day memorable in more ways than one.

Standing in the wedding reception at St George’s Hall, the Duke of Sussex dropped a bombshell on his brother Prince William : that he and his wife, after being married for just five months, were expecting their first child. Harry recalled the moment he told his brother of their happy news in his autobiography Spare, revealing William’s telling reaction.
