The pair became a brand. From reality shows like Katie & Peter: The Next Chapter to magazine deals, they turned their romance into a multi-million-pound empire. They welcomed two children together – Junior in 2005 and Princess Tiaamii in 2007 – while Katie also balanced motherhood with Harvey, her son from a previous relationship, whom Peter often called his own.

But behind the glossy spreads, cracks began to show. The constant cameras, controlling arguments, and relentless press attention became too much. By 2009, just four years after their whirlwind wedding, Katie and Peter called it quits – sending shockwaves through fans who thought they were forever. The split was messy, bitter, and very public, with still ongoing feuds happening.

At her peak, Price, 47, was reportedly worth as much as £40–45 million, fueled by modelling fees, book deals, and entrepreneurial ventures. Yet by 2019, mounting debts of around £3.5 million forced her into bankruptcy for the first time.

But things didn’t improve: in March 2024, she declared bankruptcy again – this time over an unpaid HMRC bill of roughly £750–760,000 – and lost her notorious “Mucky Mansion” to bailiffs. Recently, her daughter Princess Andre called the Mucky Mansion a “really scary place”, and detailed some of her “bad experiences”.

Katie’s finances had been a public spectacle: court orders slashing 40% of her income from OnlyFans to aid repayment, a repossessed mansion, and even an arrest in August 2024 for missing a court appearance – her unwillingness to face legal realities shining through.

Price doubled down on cosmetic procedures even as her finances slowed after undergoing a £10, 000 facelift in Turkey. A stirring backlash resulted from the changing face, which had once been a symbol of glamour. Even critics compared her appearance to a “night-time flying hazard.”

Fans and reports began to portray her life as a “car crash in slow motion,” a phrase that would ring in the news whenever she resurfaced amid another scandal.

Katie herself acknowledged that “men” were her downfall, blaming a vicious cycle of toxic, controlling relationships for her roller-coaster life. The Jam legend Rick Buckler left a huge fortune to his wife and kids following his death back in February at the age of 69. The Mod icon passed away earlier this year after a short illness.

He had been a member of the iconic rock band, alongside Paul Weller and Bruce Foxton, from 1972 to 1982 and they spawned huge classic hits like Going Underground and Town Called Malice.

The rock star’s wife Lesley, who he married 40 years ago in 1985, and their two children, have now been revealed. He left £1 million in his will.

According to reports, Rick passed almost everything to Lesley in October of this year. Additionally, he requested that Jason and Holly, his two children, Jason and Holly, receive a portion of his beloved Jam memorabilia collection.

While just £1,000 was to be given to his brother Peter, another £1,000 to pal Ian Gardner and £5,000 to Sham 69 singer Tim Scargill, according to the will document obtained by The Sun.

The news came shortly after Rick had been forced to cancel a recent spoken word tour due to “ongoing health issues”. On February 1, his team posted a message about the cancellation on Facebook, which read: “Rick and his team want all the fans of Rick and The Jam to know that due to ongoing health issues Rick has been advised to take a break from touring his spoken word events booked for the first quarter of 2025.”

It added Rick had been “really touched by the number of fans who have booked to see the shows, but presently he has been advised to rest, repair and build his physical strength in order to deal with touring up and down the UK.”

The post concluded with the statement, “Rick was really excited to bring his updated “in conversation” show to life in so many new venues and to both devoted fans and new audiences. Once more, I want to thank you for your ongoing love, support, and understanding. As time goes on, we’ll keep you informed. Rick anticipates seeing you all in the future.

A 2023 interview with Rick was resurfaced following his tragic death as he considered the split between the band and Paul Weller’s decision to break up the band.

In an interview with The Strange Brew, he shared: “The reason that Paul gave us was about why he wanted to leave the band in that initial meeting was rubbish, basically. He said that he really felt like he was on a treadmill, and that he wanted to get off.

We wanted to use this treadmill, though. We fought so hard to get on it because we always wanted to. So, to hear a member of the band saying, “Well, I want to get off now.” You conclude, “That’s crazy. That’s mad. “

Before the band’s official breakup, Paul resigned from Polydor Records and, in Rick’s opinion, just continued on the same treadmill. That made no sense, therefore, right away.

Reality star Katie Price is facing fresh questions over her murky finances as a video emerges of her waving a wad of cash while bankrupt.

Lounging on a sofa the glamour model, bankrupted twice over debts totalling more than £3m, says that she is “enjoying counting” the pile of cash in front of her, saying “there’s loads here … I’m just sorting it out”. Asked by her daughter Princess if she would contribute towards her school fees and those of her second child with ex-husband Peter Andre, Price says “Your dad can sit on that” and lifting a middle finger.

Wearing white jodhpurs and sat next to a Christmas tree, she adds: “Does he go on about it a lot? Well it’s tough because I’m in bankruptcy to next May now.” Price also refers to a property – “my London flat” – which she claims to own but which does not appear to have been traced by her bankruptcy trustees.

The video was released today by Price’s ex, former cage fighter Alex Reid”, who said in a statement that “the truth will now be heard”. The Mirror understands that the one minute and 38 second video, believed to have been filmed in late 2020, has been sent to Price’s bankruptcy trustee who continues to “seek realisations from various third parties”.

Price has been celebrating the end of six years of “hell” after being discharged from two bankruptcies and claiming it is a ”great achievement”. But a source said: “A number of people have said that Katie deals in cash but this appears to be the first solid proof. There are lots of people owed a lot of money who now realise they are unlikely to ever get it. Katie gloating about it has stuck in the throat but this is not over.”

Price was bankrupted twice – first in 2019 over debts totalling £3.5m, including £970,639 to HMRC and then again last March over a second £761,994 unpaid HMRC demand for money earned while she was already bankrupt. Creditors include Alex Reid who is owed £175,000 in High Court damages and costs he was awarded after Price revealed a sex tape he says was filmed without his consent.

In the video, Price is heard claiming that she has “extended” the bankruptcy “because Alex Reid wants money from me and he won’t be able to get it … he’s an a***hole”. In a video statement released today, Reid said: “Over the years you have seen countless stories by Katie Price directed at me, Peter, Keiran and others. Today I want to be clear. I am spear-heading a campaign to expose the truth. This isn’t about gossip but about evidence. It’s not about rumour, it’s about reality. After years of silence, the time has finally come to reveal all.”

He is seen watching the leaked video of Price and reacting, with comments like “this is unbelievable”, “she just admitted she lied” and “has my legal team seen this?” Price said earlier this year on The Katie Price Show podcast: “I’m not bankrupt anymore! I’m out of it, I’m out of both of them. The last six years have been hell – mentally and personally – everything has been hell. I’ve worked so hard to communicate and get rid of what caused all the trouble and I’m out of it. It’s such a nice feeling not to be bankrupt anymore. I’m in control of everything now.”

Farheen Qureshi, who was made Price’s bankruptcy trustee in April 2023, told the Mirror: “You should be aware that, notwithstanding that Ms Price has been discharged from both her first and second Bankruptcies, both Bankruptcies are still live and continuing and, in my capacity as her Trustee, I am seeking realisations from various third parties for the respective Bankruptcy estates. I would not wish to prejudice in any way either the outcome of that hearing or the further investigations being undertaken.”

Alex Reid’s post today marks the latest escalation between Price and her exes. Last week, on Instagram, Peter Andre posted: “For sixteen years, I have stayed silent in the face of repeated lies from my ex-wife and her family, out of respect for my children and loved ones, but staying silent has been incredibly frustrating. That ends today.

He revealed that Princess and Junior, his children with Price, were put in his care by the family courts. He also cited court cases in 2011 and 2014 where Price had to pay damages over “false claims”. He added: “The same falsehoods are being repeated today. Unfortunately, there are many more lies and baseless accusations I have yet to address. Those will now be dealt with in the coming months.”

In response, mum-of-five Price she would not be drawn into “tit for tat comments” but added: “I know I will always be seen as a sinner. That’s fair. I allowed myself to fall into a reliance on drugs and alcohol. At times I was not the mother I should have been while I struggled with mental illness. I have been at times a poor friend, an awful sibling, and an untrustworthy partner. I’ve self-medicated, been unfaithful, damaged myself and those that I love.”

I feel very anxious because of the chemistry and how she handled him, and how she handled it all. We are going to have this event where you all go, all the celebrities, and I’m going to meet everyone for the first time, and we’ll all start learning this difficult group dance technique together.

“She’s a bag of s***e,” I just feel like I’m going to feel unsure, and all the pros will be like, “Don’t want that one,” I predict.
