Victoria Beckham officially reunites with Spice Girls for first time in 13 years

Victoria Beckham and her former Spice Girls bandmates will reunite for their first professional collaboration in a decade in a new animated animated film about the band.

Victoria Beckham and her former Spice Girls pals are working on a significant new project. The Spice Girls’ first professional reunion since they took the stage during the closing ceremony of the 2012 Olympic Games, will be the simply-named animated film.

The Spice Girls will feature all five of the original cast members, including Lady Victoria, Geri Horner, Melanie Brown MBE, Melanie Chisholm, Emma Bunton, and Melanie Chisholm, who lend their voices, according to the official IMDb listing.

The Spice Girls are portrayed as superheroes in an animated film, according to the brief description. The girls will reprise their pop star alter egos, including Posh, Ginger, Scary, Sporty, and Baby Spice, but details regarding the plot, format, and release date are still a mystery, according to IMDb’s hush-hush.

This exciting news broke as Victoria, 51, graced the premiere of her three-part Netflix docu-series Victoria Beckham at The Curzon Mayfair in London on 8 October. The fashion mogul and former pop sensation was accompanied by her husband, Sir David Beckham, 50, and their children, except for eldest son Brooklyn Beckham, who is reportedly caught up in a family dispute.

Emma, Geri, and Melanie Chisholm, her ex-boyfriends, also posed together on the red carpet for the premiere. Although Melanie Brown, better known as Mel B, was the only present, she had already sent Victoria a lovely bouquet of flowers.

Melanie had previous work commitments in the US. Despite the other four members reuniting for a UK and Ireland stadium tour in 2019, Victoria hasn’t performed with the Spice Girls since their storied Olympic appearance in London twelve years ago.

Victoria opted out of that tour, but she has since remained committed to the group’s legacy. The first indication that the entire cast could once more collaborate on a successful project is in the IMDb listing.

The animated film’s potential will be a series or a feature film, it is not clear. Following the release of their debut single Wannabe in 1996, The Spice Girls became a household name in the middle of the 1990s. Before Geri left the band in 1998, which led to a formal hiatus, the band sold over 100 million records worldwide.

The band also reunited for a world tour in 2007 and again for their Olympic performance in 2012, which was widely hailed as one of the highlights of the Games. Since then, each member has embarked on individual ventures in music, television, fashion and business while maintaining a close personal bond.

Posh may have in mind this as well, given that Posh may not be the only Spice Girls project. She acknowledged in an interview with Andy Cohen that she has been considering the chart-topping band’s plans for the upcoming year’s celebrations of the three decades that preceded their most recent single, “Wannabe.”

Victoria responded, “It would be tempting, but I really liked the idea of the band playing at the Sphere in Las Vegas. But would you allow me to travel the world? No, I can’t. How talented would the Spice Girls be at the Sphere, in my opinion? The idea of it is so appealing. I mean, I’m not sure if I could even sing, and I’m never that great. Soon, host Andy retorted, “You can sing, babe.”

Victoria’s spokesperson has been in contact with The Mirror for comment.

Linda Robson’s Loose Women co-star promises to fulfil her one wish ‘before I die’

Loose Women star Linda Robson recently revealed how one of her team members on the program had promised to fulfill one of her dreams during a candid conversation.

Linda Robson has opened up about how one of her closest Loose Women friends has vowed to arrange for her to meet one of her celebrity idols before she dies.

Linda has been a key player on the beloved chat show ever since making her first appearance on Loose Women in 2003 as a guest panellist.

However, when she remembered a story from her most recent book, Truth Be Told: Tales from a Baggy Mouth, she recalled the moment she remembered having a strange dream about Elton John.

She recalled the episode from the podcast The Lewis Nicholls Show as she awoke the following morning and thought, “Oh my God! On the Eurostar, Elton John and I had sex. My husband threatened to murder me if he found out. I swear to God that I had never experienced a dream like that before because it was so real.

As she continued the anecdote, she revealed that she had managed to hand Elton a letter detailing their fictional intimate encounter via mutual contact.

She recalled how the pop star responded by saying that because they “made so much noise they chucked us off,” the pop star had responded politely.

She also mentioned that she has never had the opportunity to meet him in person, but a Loose Women colleague has pledged to do so, saying, “Janet [Street-Porter] says she’s going to take me meet him.”

She also made it clear that her Loose Women coworker had gone a step further, saying, “Janet Street-Porter bought me a Dolce &amp, Gabbana bag that Elton John had purchased her in the south of France years ago.” She continued, “Basically, Elton John bought me a designer bag.”

Linda first saw her acting career explode in the 1970s with a slew of dramas and sitcoms, though she is probably best known for playing Pauline Quirke in Birds of a Feather in the 1990s. She also provided insight into her friendship with Janet Street-Porter.

Linda will make her way back to our screens this evening. She will be hoping to improve on her previous efforts as she makes her second appearance on The Weakest Link, having already tried it on The Weakest Link in 2022.

She is set to battle it out against a host of celebrities, including Danny John-Jules, Helen Flanagan and Tim Vine, with Romesh Ranganathan hosting the show.

Strictly’s Alex Kingston was married to Hollywood A-lister and left UK after split

In the most recent season of Strictly, Alexander Kingston and Johannes Radebe were wed to Hollywood stars, but their union ended in heartache.

Strictly Come Dancing’s Alex Kingston, known for her roles in ER and Doctor Who, has had quite the romantic history. An actress known for her roles in the US medical drama ER and British sci-fi classic Doctor Who, she’s currently lighting up the dance floor with partner Johannes Radebe on the BBC show.

She’s currently married to TV producer Jonathan Stamp after the pair tied the knot in an Italian ceremony in Rome in 2015.

Alex was married to German author Florian Haertel before Jonathan. Unfortunately, Salome and the pair’s marriage wasn’t intended to last. The pair have a daughter. They divorced in 2009, and it came to an end four years later.

However, it’s her first husband who is likely the most well-known of the men she has married. Alex was once married to Hollywood heavyweight Ralph Fiennes, known for his Oscar-nominated roles in Schindler’s List, The English Patient and Conclave, as well as playing Lord Voldemort in Harry Potter and M in the Bond films.

After a 10-year relationship, Alex and the Shakespearean actor tied the knot at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA). However, their marriage would be ruined by heartache, and they would eventually divorce in 1997.

She admitted to previously describing their relationship as “like strangers – very fragile.” We assumed that the wedding would bring about the healing of his mother, who was passing away. But, of course, that was absurd.

Ralph allegedly had an affair with his Hamlet co-star, Francesca Annis, who was 18 years older than him and played his mother on stage.

Following this, Alex, who previously admitted to the Standard back in 2012 that she felt “worthless”, ultimately decided to leave Britain behind and flew off to Los Angeles.

She claimed to have been “ridiculous” at the time and that she had “so little self-esteem” when she told the Daily Mail that she believed she would “never find anyone else as good” as her husband.

Alex continued, “Divorce is awful, but it’s something I don’t regret happening to me because it’s changed who I am now.”

Ralph and Francesca were together from 1997 to 2006, but it was alleged that Ralph had an affair with Corneila Crisan, a Romanian singer, according to the Mirror. Speaking to the Standard in 2012 about Ralph, Alex said she no longer felt a “connection to him.”

She continued, “I can’t quite believe I was ever married to him because it’s been so long.”

With the role of Dr. Elizabeth Corday in the well-known medical drama ER, Alex’s move to LA turned out to be a career-defining moment. She aired the program for 12 years.

Christine McGuinness’s plans to write ‘tell-all’ autobiography after Paddy split

In her second tell-all autobiography, Christine McGuinness will address the circumstances surrounding her separation from her ex-husband Paddy McGuiness.

Christine McGuinness has revealed that she intends to write a tell-all memoir about her experiences. The model hopes to reveal personal details to her fans.

Christine is no stranger to writing about her life, having previously published an autobiography that hit shelves in 2021. She has now confirmed she’s considering crafting a follow-up book, describing it as a heartfelt tribute to those who have stood by her.

Her initial memoir covered her journey up to the time of publication, chronicling her path to fame and her romance with Take Me Out personality Paddy McGuinness. However, much has changed for the star after her separation from the television host, as well as her navigating her recent autism diagnosis.

Speaking to the Daily Star, Christine shared, “I did an autobiography about four years ago and some big things have happened since then. It would be amazing to do a second one; I can write about what happened next – I love writing.”

In a book, Christine has had plenty to talk about despite going through some significant life changes in the last four years. She continued, “I’ve never written about having autism and ADHD.” That area of my life and other things can be covered in another article.

She’s also expected to reveal details about her recent breakup with husband Paddy and also discuss her recent breakup with his wife. She vows to keep her distance and that she needs to reveal everything about her turbulent past four years.

It’s amazing to be able to write an autobiography, she continued. You must be open and private when doing one. You must accept it. Prior to this interview, Christina discussed her romantic relationship with Paddy, who she had a happy 11-year marriage to.

She admitted to struggling with guilt over the breakup on Celebs Go Dating, but she claimed she had come to the point where “enough was enough.”

She said, “Anyone can make mistakes, but I think the trust was broken,” which suggested Paddy may have been acting improperly. She continued, “I’ll always love him, because I think he’s the only man I’ll ever love,” adding, “I’ll always love him. He’s the father of my children.”

Christine also recently opened up on her diagnosis with Raynaud’s disease, the mum-of-three said she first noticed something was wrong at the beginning of the year when she’d struggled to do up her kids’ uniforms, as her hands unexpectedly seized up.

The former model explained to Mail Online that “when it happens, sometimes I have no choice but to stop what I’m doing until my hands recover, which can be very challenging when I try to balance work commitments and family life.”

Celebrity Traitors’ Alan Carr eyed up for major BBC chat show job

As the BBC show gets underway, one celebrity traitor star’s fame has increased, and they are currently in talks for a significant new agreement that would give them access to a private chat show.

BBC bosses are reportedly lining up a substantial deal with Celebrity Traitors star Alan Carr, as his popularity with audiences continues to soar while the show airs, with other production companies also expressing interest.

Nearly a decade ago, Alan’s Channel 4 series, Chatty Man, was a hit with viewers. The star is now thought to be in early talks with the BBC for a new talk show. Several production companies are also thought to be interested in a show alongside his fellow traitor, Jonathan Ross.

“Alan is a natural raconteur, and viewers are getting to see him at his absolute best,” said an insider. He could attract a few big names on his show because of his excellent likeability and incredible contacts book.

The BBC is “keen to keep their stand-out Traitors’ asset,” according to the source, adding that Alan’s agent has been buried in offers and show ideas over the past few days.

The BBC are keen to keep their stand-out Traitors asset because his agent has received a lot of offers and ideas over the past ten days. Although Wossy has only recently signed a one-year extension to his own chat show, it seems unlikely that anyone else would have an interest in that,” they told The Sun.

The BBC has unquestionably enjoyed Celebrity Traitors. More than 12 million viewers tuned in for the first episode, and at least 15 million tuned in for the final. Its numbers place it at the top of the BBC’s top unscripted program list for the first time since 2022, surpassing Strictly Come Dancing, which has the same number of episodes as it does now.

After being chosen as a traitor in the first episode, Alan has grown to be a top fan. Many initially believed him to be a terrible traitor, and Alan himself claimed to be the worst person to have ever performed in an opera during the previous season before quickly revealing herself to be a traitor.

Likewise, Alan very loudly spoke about being a Traitor in the first few episodes and had to be told off by Cat Burns for almost giving them away.

Fans, however, have said they enjoyed his antics and that despite his lack of subtlety, he was actually playing a good game. On X, a fan wrote, “We joked about Alan Carr being a s*** traitor, but PLOT TWIST I genuinely think he’s doing the best job of all three so far.

One viewer described Alan’s time on the program as the “best thing” of 2025. Can we all agree that casting Alan Carr as a Traitor this year is the best thing to have ever done?

Another person shared a photo of Alan wearing a lantern and his traitor’s robe. The caption reads, “Alan Carr being chosen as a traitor, leading to this legendary image might be my single greatest achievement to date.”

Alan already has a BBC show, as he hosts a travelogue with Amanda Holden. The show has three seasons under its belt, in which they’ve jetted off to two places in Italy and one in Spain. It has been recommissioned for a fourth series, which will take them to Greece.

Joey Essex forced to wind up company after massive debts remain unpaid

Due in large part to the taxman, Joey Essex Management Ltd. has been forced into liquidation. Accounting now looks into the company director.

Joey Essex is being probed over the collapse of his management firm. The former TOWIE favourite’s firm has been forced into liquidation after failing to pay huge debts of £1.2m, mostly due to the taxman.

Accounting firms looking into Joey Essex Management Ltd. say they will now look into company director Joey in new documents sent to Companies House.

The Liquidators will now be required to look into the affairs of the Company to assess its assets and liabilities and identify any actions that might result in the liquidation’s ability to recover funds, according to the documents.

According to the Company Directors Disqualification Act, “We are also required to take into account the conduct of the Company’s director and to submit an appropriate, confidential submission to the Insolvency Service.”

Joey, 35, is the company’s only director and shareholder. He set it up in 2011 when he joined Towie. He has banked millions from other shows, including Educating Joey Essex, Celebs Go Dating, Dancing on Ice and Love Island.

The firm had cash and assets of almost £1m just two years ago. Now the outfit is being wound up by a liquidator who has revealed debts racked up by his business include £30,449 in VAT, £9,552 in PAYE, £402,302 in corporation tax, £15,000 to trade and expense creditors, and a £39,942 Covid bounce back loan. In total, the debt to creditors stands at £497,246. But Joey’s director’s loan account is also overdrawn by £780,000.

The report added that £350,000 of the cash has now been repaid to the firm’s coffers. Last August Joey signed a Declaration of Solvency document stating the company would pay back its debts back in full within a year. The reality star, who is trying his hand at boxing, was last month announced to appear on Gary Lineker ’s upcoming ITV gameshow The Box.

Through his agent, we reached out to Joey for a comment.

In March, he shut down another business, The Top TT Limited. He set it up in 2023, but it never filed accounts. He recently switched to boxing, which may help pay off his debts.

He landed a reported £500,000 pay day for his maiden fight. However his dream boxing debut could be under threat after his opponent announced plans to appeal the result. He stepped into the ring for the first time last month for the latest Misfits event.

On August 30 in Manchester, the TV personality defeated Portuguese influencer Numeiro to earn points. In the fourth and fifth rounds, Essex even overcame a standing count to claim the victory.

In a surprising twist, Numeiro revealed that he intends to appeal the outcome a few weeks after the fight. IFL TV’s Joao Barbosa, 27, said, “I really don’t want to cause any trouble, sound rude, or do anything wrong.

However, every time I rewatch a fight, every time I speak with a professional, a coach, a referee, a professional athlete, I always receive the same comments. That “could have never happen (Essex winning),” the thought came to mind. I don’t believe we would have gotten into a fight if they had given us a draw. From my point of view, it’s still unfair, but it’s undoubtedly not a loss.

Although it has been suggested, Barbosa insists that their first fight is more about getting a fair result. He wants a rematch to take place outside of the UK, if it ever occurs.
