‘I hated builder gel manicures until I tried this new formula but now I’m converted’

We’ve tried out this beauty editor-loved professional nail polish brand’s new builder gel polish and are so pleased with the end result.

You’ll almost certainly have heard of “builder gel” manicures if you regularly get your nails done. Builder gel claims to have a stronger, longer-lasting finish than regular gel polish, which is a plus for those who want (and are struggling) to grow their own natural nails long, and is frequently also referred to as “BIAB” (incorrectly, BIAB is the name of the nail brand’s builder gel).

However, builder gel is never really appealing to me. My preferred length is for short nails, which can look chunky and weird because of the typically thicker finish than “normal” gel polish. I’ve always found that removing builder gel yourself, without access to an e-file, takes a lot more time and effort than it does removing it at home (this is how to make the process as quick and as easy as possible).

However, Bio Sculpture, a professional polish brand, has just released its first ever color builder gel due to customer demand. I went to the brand’s new treatment space in Selfridges to try them out for myself, which completely changed my opinion of builder manis because I’m already a huge fan of the brand (I’m actually trained in Bio Sculpture manicures).

Firstly, Bio Sculpture was the only company that could create a “builder” effect in the past. The brand has a wide range of base coats to suit all nail types, with some even launching Builder Gel Base earlier this year.

This is the first time color builder gels have been made, and they are HEMA-free, available in 10 flattering nude shades. They are designed to be applied directly to the base coat (Bio Sculpture suggests that your nail tech use the Flex base), significantly streamlining the procedure.

My technician uses a fine nail art brush to evenly distribute the product over the nail while applying these Color Builder Gels, which have a shorter brush than most (they’re also self-levelling), and they apply them as one coat rather than two. Another plus is that the cure time is only 30-seconds.

I chose Dream, a creamy, neutral pink, because all of the ten shades are very flattering and right up my alley (I always go for a nude). I could tell immediately how much stronger they felt compared to regular gel polish because it was smooth, glossy, and not bulky.

Ten days later, they still appear strong, durable, and with no indication of any signs of chip or lift, despite the fact that nail growth is beginning to appear at the base.

The ease with which these new builder gels appear is another factor that makes me so impressed. Although I’m not yet ready to remove mine, I’ve seen videos of the removal process on nail technicians’ Instagram accounts where the polish simply flakes off without hurting the nail itself (something I already adore about Bio Sculpture gel polishes).

Billy Bob Thornton and Demi Moore put on cosy display in awkward Angelina Jolie pic recreation

Billy Bob Thornton, a 70-year-old actor, and Angelina Jolie, a 50-year-old Hollywood actress, wed for three years before the couple wed in 2000.

Billy Bob Thornton and Demi Moore have put on a cosy display in an awkward recreation of historic Angelina Jolie pictures. The pair of actors got very close as they appeared on the red carpet together this week.

On Thursday, the two of them made an appearance at the Landman premiere in Los Angeles. From 2000 to 2003, Billie and Angelina Jolie were married for three years.

The former couple was well-known for showing affection at gatherings together. The pair frequently posed for selfies, with Billy always resting his tender arm around Angelina’s torso.

Since Billy and Connie Angland’s marriage didn’t work out, they are now married. On the red carpet, Billy had Demi as his arms wrapped around her.

They both attended the event to watch the Paramount+ show, and they are co-starring in Landman. Billy has already tied the knot six times throughout her marriage.

Additionally, he has three female children. The actor and Melissa Lee Gatlin had a daughter Amanda when they first got married in 1978.

His marriage to actress Toni Lawrence ended in 1986, but they broke up the following year and divorced in 1988. He married actress Cynda Williams from 1990 to 1992. Then, in 1993, Billy and Playboy model Pietra Dawn Cherniak were married. In 1997, the marriage ended.

The actress dated Laura Dern from 1997 until 1999 before getting married to Angelina in 2000. They divorced the following year and split in June 2002. In 2003, Billy continued to have a relationship with his current wife. While they were an item, he has previously claimed that he “never felt good enough for Angelina.”

Due to their contentious relationship, Angelina and Billy frequently made headlines during their relationship. They both once wore blood from each other around their necks at one point. Billy told The Hollywood Reporter in October 2014, “It was a crazy time. It’s never a good thing to me.

We were a lot of friends because she started making Tomb Raider and I started Monster’s Ball, he added. She thought it would be romantic and interesting if we slit these lockets with a small razor blade, smeared some blood on them, and wore them as baby hair on one for your son or daughter.

We were dangling blood around our necks from that, according to the statement. And we were a dungeon dweller and vampires.

Strictly’s Dianne Buswell says ‘I was gutted’ as she issues pregnancy update

Dianne Buswell, the star of Strictly Come Dancing, has revealed that she is pregnant with Joe Sugg and that she is “definitely getting bigger” as she updated fans.

Strictly Come Dancing’s Dianne Buswell has confessed “I’m so upset” as she updated fans on her pregnancy journey.

The 36 year old Aussie dancer is expecting her first child with former Strictly partner and YouTuber Joe Sugg, with the couple preparing to welcome a baby boy next year.

This impending arrival has already brought about significant changes, with Dianne confessing to last year’s Glitter Ball winner Chris McCausland that she’s struggling to fit into her clothes.

She lamented: “Honestly Chris, I can’t fit into any of my jeans,” during their podcast Winning Isn’t Everything. I’m so angry. I even went to the stores yesterday because I needed to feel happy and purchase some clothes that fit. ‘

“And I just didn’t even have it in me and I was like: ‘None of this stuff is doing it for me,'” reports Wales Online.

I tried on some bits, and I was gutted. I thought I should go for a size up. In the end, I never purchased anything. When I returned, Joe asked, “What did you buy?” I said, “I bought nothing,” I was like. ‘”

Dianne and Joe, 34, first crossed paths when they were paired together on the BBC reality show in 2018, finishing as runners up to Stacey Dooley and Kevin Clifton.

The overjoyed pair announced their pregnancy news via an Instagram post back in September, writing: “Our little baby boy [heart emoji] we cannot wait to meet you.”

As she revealed that the little one “kicks a lot,” Dianne admitted that she is “definitely getting bigger.”

He will eventually play football, she said. Or, for the record, one of the two, an Irish dancer? He kicks a lot, loves life, and is only getting bigger.

He just seems to be coming out massive, I believe. Why, I have no idea. “

Then, comedian Chris came in and said, “And Joe is going to be like, “Who do we know that’s massive. ‘”

What’s happening here, Dianne responded. I don’t know why, but I just feel this way. He just seems to be coming out like a big heffer, in my opinion. “

The professional dancer departed Strictly earlier this month after her celebrity partner, Neighbours star Stefan Dennis, suffered a torn calf muscle during their routine the preceding Saturday.

Despite having more free time to spend and expecting a baby, Dianne insists she won’t be relaxing.

Chris inquired as to whether she is “a little pleased” that her dancing has finished. “No! “, she replied. Actually, I’m not. I’ve said before that I shouldn’t be chilling out because I’m not. And I’m going to turn this over to my parents, right.

I don’t have the ability to relax. I’ve already gone to the gym this morning, and I’ve already done it because I have to.

Because my parents were such active people, they would frequently clean up or do this or that when I was younger.

‘Most unsettling’ horror film is ‘pure terror’ and perfect for Halloween on BBC

The horror movie is undoubtedly one of the scariest movies ever made, and it will only be streamable for 16 more days on BBC iPlayer for free.

The legend of the Blair Witch is easily one of the scariest tales to do the rounds in modern memory — and it all stemmed from a harmless horror film.

The Blair Witch Project (1999), written, directed and edited by Eduardo Sánchez and Daniel Myrick, is hands down considered to be one of the scariest documentary-style horror movies of all time.

It not only introduced the ‘found footage’ genre to horror films — seen since then in blockbuster hits like the Paranormal Activity franchise — but it’s also one of the most successful independent films of all time, originally made on a budget of $35,000–$60,000, with the final cost rising to between $200,000 and $750,000 after marketing and post-production.

The Blair Witch, a local urban myth of the area, is played by Heather Donahue, Joshua Leonard, and Michael C. Williams, who embarked on a hike into the Appalachian Mountains near Maryland’s Burkittsville to film a documentary about it.

Currently available to watch for free on BBC iPlayer for the next 16 days, the legend of the fictional Blair Witch was conceived by Sánchez and Myrick in 1993. The director-editor duo developed a 35-page screenplay in which the dialogue was to be improvised. Entering production in October of 1997, principal photography of The Blair Witch Project lasted all of eight days in total.

For the docu-film, roughly 20 hours of footage were captured, then edited and trimmed down to 82 minutes. The Sundance Film Festival held its first midnight premiere on January 23, 1999, and the film was met with enthusiastic reception after its distribution rights were purchased for $1.1 million.

It eventually received a theatrical release and a sleeper hit, grossing close to $250 million worldwide. The Blair Witch Project consistently receives accolades for being one of the scariest films ever, and it consistently receives accolades for being the best found footage film ever. The three main actors in the movie reportedly lived in poverty until they sued the studio that granted their rights, eventually winning a $300,000 settlement in 2000 despite the success of the film.

The documentary-style movie is widely praised thanks to its 86% approval rating on review aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes. The Blair Witch Project is the most potent and unsettling horror film in a very long time, according to one reviewer. Just to clarify: You won’t feel well after seeing this. Make an investment in a nightlight.

While another person claims that “The Blair Witch Project” is the scariest movie they’ve ever seen. Not the creepiest, grossest, weirdest, eeriest, sickest, creepiest, or slimiest, but just the absolute worst. “

No sequel or remake will ever match the strength of what The Blair Witch Project did a quarter of a century ago, according to a third critic.

While a fourth critic said, “The Blair Witch Project would still freeze your blood,” “I could tell you the story — give away every detail.”

One viewer wrote, “This movie is pure horror, it’s the scariest movie I have ever seen in my life, and I was terrified at the end. The film and the legend are all linked. A masterpiece of pure terror, horror, and suspense, The Blair Witch Project is a masterpiece. Daniel Myrick is brilliant!

One of the most unrefined horror movies ever, according to another reviewer.

Kelly Osbourne’s son makes sweet Halloween tribute to Ozzy’s infamous bat incident

Sidney, the young son of Kelly Osbourne, paid tribute to his late grandfather, Ozzy as he prepared for the Halloween festivities over the upcoming weekend.

Ozzy’s son, Kelly Osbourne, has received a tribute. The late Prince of Darkness passed away earlier this year after experiencing autonomic dysfunction (joint causes), cardiac arrest, acute myocardial infarction, coronary artery disease, and Parkinson’s disease.

But as the world prepares to get dressed up and celebrate the Halloween festivities, the Osbourne family is no different. Over the years, the late Ozzy has become synonymous with Halloween, with many choosing to dress as the Black Sabbath icon.

Sidney, Kelly’s young son, channeled one of Ozzy’s most infamous moments this year, though. Kelly posted a video of her son biting off the head of a stuffed bat, which she shared with Sid Wilson from Slipknot.

The little one was laughing after ripping the head off the stuffed toy, so Kelly captioned her video, “Learned from the greatest, Papa.” Her post, which has received over 226,000 likes, had a flooded with fans for Kelly and Ozzy.

“Imagine your grandfather and father who are both Ozzy and Sid Wilson from Slipknot. One person praised him as “so cute.” The fact that you have a bat with a removable head is a nod to all other things, a second said. “Learned from his father and will continue to learn from him” A third person called themselves “Future Rockstar.”

A fourth person continued, “He looks so much like Ozzy OMG.” Another person gushed, “That smile, he’s definitely a little Ozzy.” “Oh my goodness! He resembles Ozzy exactly! His small face is exactly the same! A sixth fan remarked, “Awww.” In 1982, Ozzy is alleged to have torn the head off a bat.

He had just two months to go on a tour to promote Diary of a Madman, his second solo album. Ozzy started a custom of throwing raw meat and other animal parts into the audience while traveling. Word quickly spread to his supporters, who immediately began showing up at the shows prepared to retaliate.

Something small and black was thrown on the stage while Ozzy was watching him perform at Des Moines’ Veterans Memorial Auditorium, believing it to be a rubber toy. He claimed in his 2010 memoir, I Am Ozzy, that he knew something wasn’t right the moment he bit into the object. Something started to feel off track, Ozzy said. Very incorrect.

The head in my mouth twitched as soon as I started to drink this warm, gloopy liquid. A bat was thrown by someone. I initially believed it to be a rubber bat. And I snatched it before putting it in my mouth. I was like, “Oh no, it’s real,” I thought. A real bat was present. “Ozzy said something entirely different just four years prior to this, though.”

During a conversation with the BBC, he said: “This bat comes on. I thought it was one of them Halloween joke bats ‘cos it had some string around its neck. I bite into it, and I look to my left and Sharon [Osbourne] was going [no].

What are you talking about, I wonder? She]says], ‘ It’s a dead real bat ‘ and I’m… I am aware now”! The man who claimed to have played the concert claimed that it was actually dead in an effort to end the story once and for all. Mark Neal claimed that his younger brother had brought the bat home a fortnight prior when he was 17 years old. Unfortunately, it had passed away before Mark took it to the concert, and it had already gone dead for days.
