Jesy Nelson shares pregnancy update after emergency procedure to save unborn twins

Pregnant Jesy Nelson has shared an update after she was rushed to hospital and told she needed to have an urgent procedure to save her unborn twins. Speaking on Instagram on Mother’s Day, the star confirmed she was still pregnant with twins but is still in hospital – but told fans that she had some ‘ amazing news ‘ to share.

The singer, 33, and her partner Zion Foster, 26, appeared in high spirits as they shared the update with fans from hospital. “Hi guys, so we just wanted to give you an update because we know it’s been a while. First of all we want to say a Happy Mother’s Day to all the amazing and strong mums out there. And secondly, we are still in hospital, so I’ve been recovering.

” But, we have some amazing news. The TTTS has cleared up, the operation was a success which is just absolutely incredible. We are so, so, lucky to have the most amazing doctors. Basically, the situation that we’re in now is my cervix is very, very, short, so I can’t leave the hospital because my waters could break at any point and I’m still very, very, early. “

Jesy went on:” So yeah, I can’t leave the hospital until I’m a certain amount of weeks. Every week we’re praying that the babies stay in my belly but yeah, we are just so grateful that they are still here and they’re still growing strong and we’re just so grateful. “

Her other half Zion then added:” We’re in such a blessed, blessed, situation to even be able to make this video and share this good news. “Zion then added that he has decided to run the London Marathon for Twins Trust after Jesy’s worrying pregnancy.

Jesy and Zion revealed to fans earlier this month that their unborn twins have a life-threatening condition. In a candid, tearful video, Jesy explained she has been told she is having identical twins but was warned there are” complications that come with having identical twins”.

She revealed she was pre-stage twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome (TTTS), meaning her babies were at risk of developing the rare syndrome. Twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome is described by the NHS as an” abnormality of the placenta”. The NHS adds:” This results in an imbalanced blood flow from 1 twin (known as the donor) to the other (recipient), leaving 1 baby with a greater blood volume than the other. TTTS affects 10 to 15% of monochorionic twins and can have serious consequences. “

Days later, on Saturday evening, Jesy could be seen with a cannula in her arm as she revealed in another tearful video with her partner by her side that she had been experiencing some of the symptoms she has been told to watch out for. After going to the hospital for a check-up, Jesy was told by doctors they had to perform a procedure to give her unborn babies” the best chance of surviving”.

She said in the video:” Unfortunately the symptoms have got worse so we now have to have… they have to perform the procedure, which is obviously not what we wanted to happen. “

The singer added:” But it’s necessary because it’s gonna give our babies like the best chance of surviving. So yeah, we’re just waiting to go in. And we’re just hoping and praying for the best really. I feel gutted. I feel absolutely gutted because I really was hoping that we wouldn’t even be in this position. “

Jesy was seen in tears as her partner Zion Foster reassured her, saying:” They’re doing it to give us the best chance. Our babies the best chance. “Jesy added:” Yeah, like that’s why they do this procedure. So that it literally gives you the best chance of your baby surviving but it’s obviously just really scary cause there’s so many things that can happen, “as she wiped away tears”. We just wanted to update you guys, keep you in the loop with what’s going on. Just pray for us guys, thank you. “

The singer was flooded with support from celebrity friends and fans as Safiyya Vorajee wrote:” Crying watching you babe seeing you go through this stress &amp, worry hurts my heart know I am praying for the babies you and Zion and sending you all the strength and positive energy all my love”.

Natasha Hamilton added:” Sending so much love, strength &amp, prayers your way”. While Georgia Kousoulou wrote:” Praying for you”.

Jack Black reveals his ‘terror’ ahead of SNL hosting return after 20 years

Actor and musician Jack Black is set to host long-running stateside sketch show Saturday Night Live for the first time in 20 years, but admitted he is fearing the appearance

Jack Black is set to host Saturday Night Live

Jack Black has revealed his fear after being asked to host Saturday Night Live for the firs time in 20 years. The Minecraft actor returns to the iconic US sketch show for the April 5 edition, but has admitted it is taking its toll on him.

Jack, 55, takes on the hosting duties, while music will come from Elton John and Brandi Carlile. Despite the actor and musician being a veteran in front of the camera, he insists the opportunity is giving him “night terrors”.

Speaking at the London premiere of A Minecraft Movie on Sunday, Jack joked it felt “cray cray” to be joining the SNL team again.

He told Variety he is “having lots of nightmares and night terrors and also fond memories flooding back”. And when he was asked his thoughts on how the writer’s room on the show will go ahead of broadcast, he said: “You know what they’re thinking about right now?

” They are just all in a dead coma from last night’s show. Maybe some of them are thinking of some ideas, but I’m really thinking it’s one of those shows they put together in one week, that’s part of the excitement. “

It will mark the fourth time Jack will have hosted the long-running show. His last outing came in December 2005 when he used his stint to promote Peter Jackson’s King Kong movie.

Ahead of his latest release, Jack admitted there has been one movie he starred in which he regrets. He revealed he wasn’t “proud” of the production and would rather forget about it.

Confessing his inclusion on the 2001 film had him feeling like a” sell out”, Jack revealed he wishes he avoided it, despite it receiving plaudits at the time.

Shallow Hal saw the actor star alongside Hollywood star Gwyneth Paltrow. Jack played the role of Hal, a man who despite not having the perfect physique himself, was obsessive and picky about looks when trying to find a girlfriend. Hal is then hypnotised to only see inner beauty.

When he meets Gwyneth Paltrow’s character – which saw the actress don a fat suit for the role, Jack sees her as a slim, conventionally pretty woman. Her appearance is said to have mirrored her kind personality and loving nature. However, to the rest of the world, she’s seen as a plus-sized woman and treated poorly due to her size.

While the movie does have a positive message about looking at people’s inner beauty, many have criticised the film as being fatphobic, relying on humour based on Gwyneth’s character’s size. The character of Rose breaks chairs, empties swimming pools when she dives into them, and is seen eating massive amounts of food.

In 2006, Jack explained his reasons for taking on the part, but also expressed his regret in doing so. He worked with the Farrelly brothers for the film, who are known for creating comedy movies such as Dumb and Dumber and There’s Something About Mary.

Jack said:” I had an opportunity to work with some dudes I thought were really funny, but it didn’t turn out as I’d hoped. I wasn’t proud of it, and I got paid a lot of money, so, in retrospect, it feels like a sell-out. “His comments were echoed by Gwyneth, who previously called the movie a” disaster”.

In an interview with the Guardian, she revealed what it was like to wear the prosthetics for the role”. The first day I tried the fat suit on, I was in the Tribeca Grand, and I walked through the lobby, “she said.

” It was so sad. It was so disturbing. No one would make eye contact with me because I was obese. I felt humiliated. For some reason, the clothes they make for women that are overweight are horrible. I felt humiliated because people were really dismissive. “

Kylie Minogue reaches incredible career milestone after years of feeling ‘invisible’

Australian icon Kylie Minogue is finally gaining long-awaited recognition in the U. S. after years of feeling “anonymous” in the American market

Kylie Minogue is finally making waves in the American market

After years of feeling like an unknown entity in the United States, Kylie Minogue is finally making waves in the American market – a dream long in the making for the global pop sensation. Despite being a household name across Europe and Australia, the 56-year-old singer admitted she once felt “anonymous” in the U.S.

However, with her recent appearance in Netflix’s highly anticipated comedy The Residence, it seems that is about to change. Minogue, the best-selling female artist from Australia and the third biggest-selling female act in the UK, has captivated audiences for four decades.

But her presence in the U. S. has only gained real traction following the viral success of her 2023 hit Padam Padam. While she had previously expressed contentment with her limited recognition in America, her record label signaled a shift in focus in 2023, revealing that she was now keen on making her mark stateside.

With Padam Padam gaining momentum and her follow-up album Tension securing her a Grammy win and a second No. 1 spot on the U. S. Billboard Top Dance/Electronic Albums chart, Minogue’s career in America has taken a dramatic turn. Her Las Vegas residency, another milestone in her expanding U. S. presence, further cemented her growing fan base before she was cast in the star-studded Netflix series.

Returning to her acting roots, Minogue – who first found fame on the Australian soap Neighbours – embraces a bold new role in The Residence, where she plays an exaggerated and foul-mouthed version of herself in a murder mystery set in the White House. Fans have been raving about her cameo, with many taking to social media to declare her the highlight of the show. Enthusiastic reactions flooded X (formerly Twitter), with comments such as: “I’ll watch this just for Kylie”, another echoed: “The only reason to tune in is Kylie Minogue.”

Someone else shared: “We need to get Kylie Minogue an Emmy for The Residence”. While another added: “Seeing Kylie Minogue in The Residence was an unexpected but brilliant surprise. Shonda Rhimes really got the budget”.

Her growing appeal in the U. S. is a testament to the power of social media. Jamie Nelson, Senior Vice President of U. K. Recordings at BMG, told Variety in 2023 that while they had always believed Padam Padam would perform well, its viral success exceeded all expectations.

“It’s reaching an unprecedented level – not just for her, but for any artist with such a long history”, he said, attributing much of the momentum to TikTok and online platforms. Minogue herself has embraced the resurgence, taking to social media to express gratitude for the overwhelming support. “This has been an incredible week, and to top it off, it’s my birthday today. I can’t thank you all enough. My heart is bursting with joy”, she wrote.

Capitalizing on this newfound success, Minogue followed in the footsteps of music legends like Cher, Celine Dion, and Adele by launching a Las Vegas residency. Kicking off in November 2023, her More Than Just a Residency series of performances wrapped up on May 4 after an impressive 20-show run.

Addressing the crowd at her final performance, she hinted at a possible return, saying, “This is the end… for now. I love you so much – I can’t wait to see you again”.

Behind the scenes, her impact on Las Vegas was undeniable. According to an insider speaking to The Sun, the head of her residency venue, Michael Gruber, was so impressed that he offered her an unprecedented “residency for life”, allowing her to return on her own terms.

“Venues typically demand fixed contracts or exclusivity agreements, but with Kylie, Michael knows he’s onto something special”, the source revealed.

Despite her long journey toward American recognition, Minogue now sees her recent success as a testament to her endurance. Calling her Vegas residency “a big win for longevity,” she has embraced this new chapter with open arms. However, fans were left disappointed when she announced a world tour without any U.S. dates, underscoring the demand for more of her presence stateside.

Reflecting on her previous struggles in America, Minogue once told The Express in 2009, “It doesn’t frustrate me]not breaking the U. S. market]. What’s frustrating is people assuming it’s something missing from my career or my life”. She also acknowledged in 2022, “I had resigned myself to the fact that America wouldn’t be like the rest of the world for me. I’m anonymous there – which, I must confess, I kind of like”.

But with her recent milestones, it’s clear that Kylie Minogue’s anonymity in America is fading fast. And for a pop icon who has spent 40 years redefining her career, this latest chapter may be one of her most exciting yet.

Geri Halliwell Horner drops biggest hint yet all five Spice Girls will reunite

Geri Horner has admitted that she is open to getting back together with her Spice Girls co-stars with speculation they are set to celebrate the 30th anniversary of their debut album Spice

Geri Horner has hinted that the Spice Girls are heading for a reunion with all five members featuring. The pop star has given fans hope that she will join former bandmates Emma Bunton, Melanie C, Victoria Beckham, and Mel B for a tour – despite her well publicised differences with Mel B.

Geri, 52, has now confirmed she is on board to reform the band after Mel B shared her own enthusiasm for a tour. Speaking in a new interview Geri said: “My hope is we come back together as a collective.

” It’s more respectful to come as one. There will be something. We’ll come as one. We love each other. I love them, I care about them, we want the best for each other.

Talking to The Times she added: “We shared something so monumental. We’ve always believed in each other, had trust in each other, which is beautiful.” Geri also confirmed that the girls have a group chat – but wouldn’t divulge what it is called.

Mel C has recently hinted that the Spice Girls could do something to celebrate the 30-year anniversary of their debut album, Spice, in 2026. The girls toured together in 2020 but only as a foursome as Victoria did not take part.

The Spice Girls last performed together as a five-piece in 2012 for the opening ceremony of the London Olympics. Mel C told Rebecca Judd on Apple Music 1 earlier this month: “There has to be something befitting of 30 years since Wannabe.

” Once a Spice Girl, always a Spice Girl. We all feel like that, but we now are getting together because we know if we’re going to do anything, we have to start planning things to get things right. We have to start making the plans right now and putting them into action. So fingers crossed. “

She added:” I think me and Mel B are probably going to be going in there all guns blazing, ‘ Come on! It’s time! ‘ “Fans had believed that there may be no chance of another Spice Girls reunion after rumours of an ongoing feud between the members of the band.

In November 2024 reports claimed that Geri had dropped out of a deal with Netflix for a biopic about the band which would have been highly lucrative for them making them around £1million each. At the time The Sun reported that the streaming giant had ordered the Spice Girls to make amends with one another and provide their input or they would make it without their approval, like they did with The Crown.

A source told the publication:” Executives are keen to have all the group on board providing as much input as possible – after all they are pop royalty. But Netflix are the organisation who defied the wishes of real royalty and went ahead and made The Crown, so they aren’t afraid to go it alone when they have to. “

During her latest interview, Geri, who releases her latest children’s book series Rosie Frost: Ice On Fire in April, also scotched suggestions she had changed her surname to Halliwell-Horner.

Her marriage to Christian Horner, principal of the Red Bull Racing Formula One team, came under the spotlight when he was accused of inappropriate behaviour towards a female employee.

He was cleared by an internal investigation and after a subsequent appeal, but the story resurfaced in recent weeks when it was covered in the latest series of Netflix’s Formula 1: Drive To Survive.

” We like playing games. We’re quite silly, “she said before dismissing the name change, saying Halliwell-Horner was her writing name. I haven’t legally changed anything – Horner is the name on my passport”.

The Nanny actress Fran Drescher has opened up about her romantic life – revealing she has a ‘ rotation ‘ of friends with benefits after previously vowing to never remarry

The Nanny actress Fran Drescher has peeled back the covers of her personal life to share details of a very unconventional sex life. The 67-year-old actress and trade union boss played Fran Fine in the smash hit US television sitcom The Nanny from 1993 until 1999 – during which time she was married to actor, writer, director and producer Peter Marc Jacobson, also 67.

Fran and Peter tied-the-knot in 1978 but divorced in 1999 – and he later came out as gay following the end of the romance. Remaining close, the pair dramatised their lives by writing the TV series Happily Divorced which ran from 2011 until 2013 and starred the former couple alongside John Michael Higgins, Colin Ferguson and Dame Joan Collins.

Fran went on to enjoy a relationship with entrepreneur Shiva Ayyadurai from 2014 until 2016, while her romantic life has been kept out of the spotlight in the years since. However, the TV star has now shared an insight into her current romantic status – revealing she has something of an open romance.

Opening up to PageSix, the actress said: “I have a little rotation”, and adding: “I’m Fran Drescher. What do you think”? Her new comments come after recent interviews in which she said she did not plan to ever marry again and adding that she has “friends with benefits” rather than any serious romance.

In 2022, Fran revealed that her relationship with Peter was stronger in the present than it had been during their married years. She told the Daily Mail at the time: “]Peter and I are] closer than when we were married”. And described her ex as her “soulmate”.

She continued: “We are divorced, but still single because it is hard to compete with what we shared. We have been together since we were 15 and we’ve been through so much”.

While Peter commented: “When you are lucky in life and you meet your soulmate, there is nothing that can tear you apart. We vacation together. We do everything together… It is a deep, deep love”.

Peter revealed at the time that he too had no plans to walk down the aisle again, remarking: “I don’t think there is any reason to get married — it is just a license. It is the heart, not a signed piece of paper”.

Fans of The Nanny had been looking forward to a stage revival of the classic sitcom – which ran for six seasons and 146 episodes, with Charles Shaughnessy, Daniel Davis and Madeline Zima among the cast. However, the plans for a stage version of the show were hit by near constant seetbacks.

Fran previously revealed: “We’re going to resurrect it but between the]writers and actors] strike, my dad passing away and now the Palisades fires, which impacted my house… there’s only so much I can do”.

Discussing the wildfires that devastated large areas of Los Angeles at the start of the year, Fran explained that she is fortunate to have property on the East Coast of the USA.

She explained: “I have a place here in New York too. I’m very happy because this is my home, too”.

Jeremy Clarkson quits Ozempic and turns to very expensive food item in bid to lose weight

Jeremy Clarkson is now ‘ microdosing ‘ Mounjaro after Ozempic ‘ didn’t work, ‘ and has introduced a bizarre – and very expensive – staple into his diet as he tries to lose weight

Jeremy Clarkson had a major health scare last year, and has switched up his lifestyle completely(Image: Getty)

Former Top Gear presenter Jeremy Clarkson is taking some wild steps to slim down. The star has openly detailed his ups and downs, revealing he’s changed his tactics completely after suffering through a very adverse reaction to one attempt.

Last October, Jeremy, 64, revealed that he’d undergone heart surgery, and that if he hadn’t received medical attention when he did, it could have resulted in a fatal heart attack.

Article continues below

He’s now trying to drop pounds and form a healthier lifestyle, but admitted that it hasn’t been an easy journey for him at all. In his column for The Times, Jeremy shared that he started taking Ozempic – a type 2 diabetes treatment – two years ago to lose weight, but the drug “didn’t work” and resulted in him getting ill.

Ozempic is an injectable medication primarily used for type 2 diabetes but due to weight loss being a side effect, many have misused the prescription drug in their quests to shed a few pounds. Ozempic does not market itself as a weight-loss drug.

The publican only used Ozempic for six months before calling it a day, and now takes Mounjaro which has made his appetite tiny(Image: PA)

The Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? host shared: “My body lost the ability to deal with gluttony but once the initial enthusiasm had worn off, my mind still wanted to breakfast on Cadbury Fruit & Nut. This meant I was sick a lot. And after I had vomited, I figured I was empty and could have another bottle and maybe another bar of chocolate too.”

Jeremy explained that he stopped taking Ozempic after just six months, half a stone heavier than when he started. Now, he’s been “microdosing” Mounjaro – another type 2 diabetes drug – for three months and it seems to be going a lot “better”.

The Grand Tour star described: “I can open the fridge, look at all the goodies in there and then close it. I haven’t lost any weight but it seems inevitable that, as I no longer want to eat my own body weight in chocolate and beef, I will.”

While he has high hopes for weight loss, Jeremy fumed at his low appetite. He explained that now he no longer craves chocolate, his new diet revolves around treating himself to luxury goods in tiny portions.

He said of his latest meal plan: “I’ve also discovered snail caviar, which is… actually unborn snails. But weirdly it does taste and feel like the real deal.

” So you can pop a teaspoon of that onto half a Ritz cracker and you have yourself the 21st century’s answer to a mediaeval banquet. “

Jeremy has admitted that having a stent fitted in his arteries to keep them open during surgery was a wake up call to take control of his health, especially considering the arrival of his second granddaughter, whom his daughter Emily welcomed in December.

In January, he revealed that he’s under strict instructions to change his rich diet, which consisted of a heavy consumption of alcohol, red meat, and smoking.

” I do feel very well. I have been to see a dietician. The dietician has given me a pretty good list and said: ‘ don’t eat processed food. If it’s got more than one ingredient in it, don’t eat it. ‘ I feel great, “he summarised.
