Britney Spears has shared a post to Instagram which reveals she’s suffered a gruesome knee injury. This comes just two hours after she posted a statement to the same platform, where she accused ex-husband Kevin Federline of “gaslighting” her.

In a sad video, the star can be seen dancing with a bandaged knee, bruises on her arms and a smudged mascara around her eyes. The 43-year-old regularly posts dancing videos to Instagram, but in this one, she looked much sadder and close to tears.

Her latest clip shows her wearing a see-through pink sparkly patterned mini-dress with a feather trim. She is seen sporting bandages on one knee and both her hands while bruises on both her arms are visible. In the worrying clip, Britney is seen striking various poses for the camera, moving backwards and forwards and playing her her hair and making different expressions at the camera. As she posted the clip to Instagram, she added the song Sex and Candy by Unicorns and wrote in the caption: “If a girl is singing it should be there HE WAS HMMMM !!!!”

Earlier this month, Spears said she “fell down the stairs” and that her leg “snaps out now and then”. She added that she wasn’t sure if it was broken. At the time, the singer posted a video and captioned it: “Psss I fell down the stairs at my friend’s house… it was horrible… it snaps out now and then, not sure if it’s broken but for now, it’s snapped in!!!” That caption has now been removed.

Britney’s new video was posted shortly after she uploaded a screenshot of statement about her ex-husband. In the post she claims Federline is “gaslighting” her and says she has to speak up because she has “had enough” and “any real woman would do the same”.

This statement comes ahead of the release of Federline’s memoir, You Thought You Knew, due on 21 October. Spears wrote: “The constant gaslighting from ex-husband is extremely hurtful and exhausting. I have always pleaded and screamed to have a life with my boys. Relationships with teenage boys is complex. I felt demoralized by this situation and have always asked and almost begged for them to be a part of my life.

“Sadly, they have always witnessed the lack of respect shown by own father for me. They need to take responsibility for themselves. With one son only seeing me for 45 min in the past 5 years and the other with only 4 visits in the past 5 years. I have pride too. From now on I will let them know when I am available. Trust me, those white lies in that book, they are going straight to the bank and I am the only one who genuinely gets hurt here.”

She added: “I am actually a pretty intelligent woman who has been trying to live a sacred and private life the past 5 yers. i speak on this because I have had enough and any real woman would do the same.”

In his book, Federline, 47, claimed that their sons, Sean Preston, 19, and Jayden, 18, once woke up to find their mother holding a knife. Throughout the memoir, he details their two-year marriage from 2005-2007, which ended in a custody battle. Federline also claims he saw Spears use cocaine whilst breastfeeding.

He also addresses the conservatorship Spears was under from 2008-2021, in which her father controlled her life and finances. The arrangement sparked the #FreeBritney movement, where fans called for her independence to be restored. Federline wrote that while it started from a good place, “all those people who put so much effort into that should now put the same energy into the ‘Save Britney’ movement”. He added that it isn’t about freedom anymore: “This is no longer about freedom. It’s about survival.”

Her husband Dylan Sprouse stood on the red carpet offering a heartwarming gesture of support in the form of a yellow endometriosis ribbon pin. In an interview with E! News, the former The Suite Life of Zack & Cody star revealed that he was handing out the pins to raise awareness for Barbara’s health condition.

“I brought this endometriosis awareness pin. You want one? Because Barbara just went through endo surgery and I’m handing these out tonight,” he told interviewers.

In August, the model and actress revealed that she recently had surgery for endometriosis after struggling with symptoms for several years. “Hi guys, it’s been a while!” Barbara shared in an Instagram post, before encouraging others to seek treatment if they suspected they might also suffer from the disease.

Endometriosis is a condition where cells similar to those in the lining of the womb grow in other parts of the body. Symptoms occur when patches of endometriosis bleed during your period but have nowhere to go and can include severe period pain, heavy periods and pain when you use the toilet, according to the NHS.

The chronic disease affects 1 in 10 women and those assigned female at birth in the UK, making it the second-most common gynaecological condition. Despite that, many individuals face long delays in diagnosis and limited treatment options, according to The Endometriosis Foundation.

Dylan described Barbara as “so strong” for going through treatment by herself. He also revealed that Barbara’s social media posts had a massive impact on their following. He shared: “It turns out a ton of people reached out to her, a ton of women who had experienced the same things.”

He added: “I just don’t think there’s a lot of awareness about it. Some people were even reaching out and saying that they didn’t realise they had those symptoms until I got diagnosed after seeing [Barbara] post about it.

“So I’m hoping that if this is even a small measure of something we can do then I hope it helps.”

A source claimed to People on October 11 that the actress’ health ‘declined very suddenly’ and that her tragic death ‘was so unexpected’.

The source added: “In her final months, she was surrounded only by her closest family, who chose to keep things very private. Even longtime friends weren’t fully aware of what was happening.”

Shortly after her death was announced, Diane’s final moments were laid bare in a released 911 call after the audio was reportedly obtained by TMZ. The reports claim that emergency services were called to her property in Los Angeles after 8am on Saturday morning, before she was transported to hospital. The actress was later pronounced dead.

Close friends of Diane also reported to People that they were shocked by how much weight she had lost in the weeks before her passing. Songwriter Carole Bayer Sager, said: “She had lost so much weight,” Sager said. “I saw her two or three weeks ago and she was very thin.”

Their engagement in Ibiza later in 2023 appeared to cement their fairytale image. But just a year later, things fell apart. Tommy later admitted that a sports injury took a toll on his mental health, and he turned to drink to cope.

He told Men’s Health: “We broke up because I had a problem with alcohol and I couldn’t be the partner that I wanted to be anymore. I couldn’t train, box, lift weights… I’d lost my whole identity.”

He admitted to drinking heavily — sometimes up to “20 shots a night” — and added that this period of his life left him “unrecognisable”.

For Molly-Mae, the breakup was devastating. In the first series of her Prime Video documentary Molly-Mae: Behind It All, she confessed: “The last couple of months have been like the worst couple of months of my life. The feeling of a breakup, it’s like a physical pain — your heart actually hurts.”

Despite her heartbreak, she always held onto hope that their story wasn’t over. At the end of the first series, she shared: “The dream is still the same. That we’ll all be happy in that house together and have more children…I know we’ve got something completely worth saving.”

Molly-Mae officially confirmed that she got back together with Tommy in May this year, but there are some key differences to their relationship this time around.

She told Cosmopolitan: “We’re back together, and we’re just navigating our way through — forming our relationship again in the public eye and really just figuring it all out.”

The influencer said they are “in a much better place”, but also revealed that they are still living separately. “We’re still in two houses,” she said. “It’s a strange dynamic because we’re together, but we’re also living quite separate lives. I’m hoping that will change quite soon.”

Molly-Mae’s sister Zoe has expressed her fears that Tommy’s drinking problems will crop up again and cause issues in the couple’s relationship, but the influencer seems confident that he has made huge progress with his personal issues.

In season one of Behind It All, she told Zoe: “He’s not drank now, like for what four months. But no, I don’t think the drink’s gone away forever. Could drink still be a problem for us? Potentially yes. But the break-up showed I was serious.

“I love Tommy so much and I love our family so much that I’m willing to ride the wave. And that’s not something that everyone wants to do, but it’s something that I’m willing to do because I want my family.”

Thomas Skinner has said he is abused by strangers as he shared his bitter regret at doing Strictly Come Dancing. The former Apprentice star took to social media to express why he wishes he never entered the dance show in the first place.

Tom was the first person to leave the programme after performing his Salsa with professional dancer Amy Dowden. However, despite seeming to enjoy his time on the show, he has now changed his mind.

The dad-of-three has said he feels like he “can’t do anything right” after leaving the BBC dace competition. Tom explained that all her tries to do is “spread positivity” online but feels like all he’s getting is backlash.

Writing on X, he said: “I’ve had enough of all this b******* I can’t do anything right now without someone critising me. Or Making me do something against my will. It’s b*******. I wish I never done strictly, I never fitted the bill for that show let’s be honest. And It’s Caused me nothing but agg. Constant absuse.

“All I f****** do is try to spread positivity online. I can’t walk anywhere without people knowing who I am. I’ve had a narrative spun against me so People always have an opinion on me now that they didn’t 3 months ago. I’ve heard so many lies said and told about me.

“It’s driving me mad. I’ve had a constant pile on of abuse over the last month like I’m a mass murderer. It’s b*******. I went out to work in my van this morning and I’m either getting beeped at or people putting their thumb up at me.”

Tom went on to add that he’s “had enough” after feeling that people he has supported are “starting to turn on [him]” because of what is being said about him online. He told fans that he would be taking a break from being online to concentrate on him and his family.

Tom added: “I ain’t one to admit I’m struggling. But I am. I’m honestly tired of all this nonsense. Can no one see what’s happening to me, I don’t know why I’ve become this target. I’ve always been the one that’s been solid. But I’ve really really had enough now.”

He signed off his message with his catchphrase “bosh” and a red heart emoji. Tom was the first celebrity contestant to be booted off the show in this year’s series.

He was up against rugby player Chris Robshaw in the bottom two, but judges unanimously chose to save Chris. Speaking on the show, Tom told host Tess Daly: “I’ve loved it. I’ve never danced before and my stay was short, but Amy’s amazing. It’s been great fun and I’ve enjoyed it. I can’t really dance that well but I’ve had fun! Thank you, Amy – sorry that we haven’t done too good, ‘cause you’re a different class.”
