Limp Bizkit bassist Sam Rivers dead: Band pays emotional tribute to ‘true legend’

Sam Rivers, the bassist for American nu metal band Limp Bizkit, passed away just one month before they were scheduled to tour with the group.

Sam Rivers, the bassist of Limp Bizkit, has tragically died at the age of 48.

The Florida-born nu metal band broke the news of his tragic passing on Saturday, October 19 without revealing his death.

This comes just months after lead singer Fred Durst explained the long-debated meaning behind their band name. The band shared the heartbreaking news with their fans on Instagram, stating, “In Loving Memory of Our Brother, Sam Rivers. Today we lost our brother. Our bandmate. Our heartbeat. Sam Rivers wasn’t just our bass player – he was pure magic. The pulse beneath every song, the calm in the chaos, the soul in the sound.”

This tragic news follows the recent death of KISS guitarist Ace Frehley at 74, who suffered a terrible fall just days after bandmate Gene Simmons survived a crash.

The band continued to pay tribute to Rivers, saying, “From the first note we ever played together, Sam brought a light and a rhythm that could never be replaced. His talent was effortless, his presence unforgettable, his heart enormous. We shared so many moments – wild ones, quiet ones, beautiful ones – and every one of them meant more because Sam was there.”, reports the Mirror US.

He was a “once in a lifetime” type of person. They continued, “A true legend of legends.” His spirit will remain present in every song, movement, stage, and memory forever. The band said, “We love you, Sam,” to end their heartfelt tribute. Always with us is the promise. Brother, please be easy. Your music is unending. – DJ Lethal, Wes, and John.

Just one month before Limp Bizkit’s tour of South America, the revelation is revealed.

Sam’s entire existence was centered around music. He co-starred with the band’s drummer, John Otto, throughout his teenage years. He didn’t come across Fred until the early 1990s, when both worked at the same Chick-fil-A.

The trio became Limp Bizkit’s founding members in 1994. Before they added guitarist Wes Borland and DJ Lethal to their lineup, it took another two years. The band rose to international fame over the course of the next 20 years, releasing hits like Break Stuff, Rollin’ (Air Raid Vehicle), and My Way.

Sam, who has liver disease from years of drinking excessive amounts, temporarily left the group in 2015. He recalled being taken to UCLA Hospital after being admitted because of his illness, saying, “If you don’t stop, you’re going to die.” And you appear to need a new liver at the moment.

Dianne Buswell reveals unborn son is already a fan of Strictly Come Dancing

On BBC Strictly Come Dancing, Dianne Buswell revealed how much her unborn son enjoys the live band and how juggling her first pregnancy was difficult for her.

Dianne Buswell, a mother, claims that her unborn son is already indicating that he will follow her in the same way. Last night, the mother-to-be and Neighbours star Stefan Dennis, their celebrity partner, took to the Strictly Come Dancing dance floor once more.

Aussie Dianne says the baby is a big fan of the show and is expecting a boy with YouTuber Joe Sugg in the first year. She beamed, “There have been a few small Strictly kicks.” especially when he is listening to Dave Arch and the band.

When I dance, I don’t feel it. He’s probably being slouched by that. There, he’ll have a good time. Dianne, 36, and her 2018 Strictly partner Joe, 34, announced last month that they were expecting a boy.

The first pro to compete while pregnant on the BBC show, she’s faced lots of support but also a barrage of opinions. Dianne brushed off any negativity, saying: “I have got some lovely messages. I want to be an advocate for mums who can stay active.

“Thank you, I feel really good. I feel similar to last year’s feeling in some ways. I dance better now. Strangely, last week I took a vacation, which made me feel worse, so that was an interesting observation.

After Stefan’s illness forced Dianne to miss out on last week’s film week. Charleston to Dance Monkey by Tones and I was back last night.

Dianne expressed her delight in dancing while she was pregnant. She said, “So far, so good.” I haven’t had to change anything at all. Simply put, I’ve kept doing what I’d normally do.

Because Stefan is the oldest competitor in the competition and you consistently choreograph moves to suit your partner, “we couldn’t be doing crazy lifts.” Although the height and size of those performing these massive lifts will be very different, both me and Stefan are not, so we choose what works best for us.

“My partner and I are what I need to adapt to,” I said. Stefan, 66, claimed that his week off gave him the opportunity to “rest and re-evaluate.”

“I came from the other side of the world and was thrown into a massive machine I didn’t really know anything about. Being sick gave me a chance to sit back and see what you do. The hardest thing has been learning how to dance and getting over the fear of I can’t dance. My subconscious thoughts are that I have two left feet. I don’t know how to move my body. I can’t do this. So the hardest thing is getting over that.”

Stefan claims he’s already missed out on one spooky opportunity in hopes of making it to Halloween week next weekend’s show. He explained that “My plan was to finish Neighbours” before this. “My wife and I were going to travel and then I was going to make a movie.”

It’s unfortunate that I didn’t do the movie because I wanted to play a head vampire in a horror movie, which couldn’t be further from Paul Robinson, but I was forced to turn down the opportunity due to Strictly.

Dr Hilary Jones quits ITV after almost 40 years but money is ‘too tight’ for leaving do

Dr. Hilary Jones, an illustrious ITV medical expert, has revealed how he will leave the network after 36 years of service as a result of workforce reductions that will see the number of employees cut in half.

Lorraine star Dr Hilary Jones has opened up about his departure from the hit ITV show after being on the air for 36 years. Hilary is leaving after it was announced that the morning offering is set to be cut to 30 minutes long from January.

It will air for just 30 weeks of the year as opposed to 52 because of the reduced schedule. The 72-year-old medical specialist has also admitted that he believes there won’t be any money for him to hold a leaving party.

He stated, “I’ll be a free agent until December 31 and then I’m still working there.” It breaks the monotony of being a presenter of a news program. I’ll probably return occasionally as a guest presenter.

He then went on to explain why the popular television program is changing, noting that many viewers are now having to leave. He added, “People are being very sensitive to the fact that some people are having to leave.”

Many people are being moved elsewhere or in the same position. Like everyone else, ITV must alter things. When asked if ITV would host a leave-of-placement party for those who are fired, he responded, “It would be lovely if they did, but we will wait and see on that one because money is tight.

“We will all be going out anyway, regardless of whether they pay or not, because there are some groups of us who feel like we’re a part of a family.” We’re very happy to put money in our pockets.

Hilary added that, while attending the Best Hero awards, “I think many saw changes coming, and I think people at work know where they are.”

As ITV Studios’ daytime operations attempt to recover their financial losses, the workforce will be reduced by half as a result of the changes. The network’s most recent financial results revealed a 30% decline in profits for the first half of this year.

Television presenter Lorraine Kelly opened up about the slashing of her show for the first time about the cuts, calling them “heartbreaking.” In addition, the actress pledged to continue producing her own self-titled program despite earlier rumors that she was departing.

Speaking to The Mirror she said, “I don’t see me going anywhere until people get fed up, you know? Until people say, I’ve had enough of that one. It’s really heartbreaking to split up the team, a lot of my team have been with me for more than 20 years and they’re my friends.

They have always been my parents. They had their first child with me when they first started out, and they now have their own. Lorraine said she was pleased that a significant portion of the team had since been redistributed to other programs.

She continued, “It’s been difficult, it’s been hard, with the cuts. Although it was completely focused on the team, I’m much happier about it now. For me, this was about the team, not me. I wasn’t enraged or annoyed.

‘Tyson Fury will be in tears walking Venezuela down the aisle’, says Paris

Venezuela’s 16-year-old daughter Venezuela and how she believes her husband Tyson Fury won’t be able to contain his emotions when she marries have been revealed by Paris Fury.

Paris Fury has confessed that she thinks her husband Tyson Fury will be crying when he walks their daughter down the aisle.

Their 16-year-old Venezuelan boyfriend, boxer Noah Price, requested his consent before popping the question. Since its announcement, the surprise engagement has become a hot topic.

Now Paris, 35, has opened up about how she thinks Tyson, 37, will react when the big day comes for their daughter. She said, “I think Tyson will get teary and emotional giving Venezuela away. He might be strong, but underneath he is softer than I am.”

Paris declared that he would be balling if he felt the love that day. She is our daughter. However, it’s best not to get too close in the future. We’re hoping Venezuela accepts her engagement.

She continued to The Sun: “Noah asked for Tyson’s permission to propose to her at her 16th birthday shortly before he proposed. I didn’t get involved, but I had an inkling it might happen.

Tyson asked my dad for his consent before we could get married, which we believe is an old fashioned custom. But when it happened, my hands started to tremble and I was sore.

The mother-of-seven said she hopes Venezuela will continue to advance her influence career when she gets married when she unveiled her new product, Eternal Collagen, at the Grosvenor House Suites in London on Thursday.

You can be a wife and have it all, Paris declared. She also stated that Venezuela is only 16 and that she is happy, “so they” support her. I have faith in this for her because I believe it to be the best course of action.

She also made some clarifications about the custom of getting married when you travel. She remarked, “In the traveller, gypsy community, we traditionally get married young, but everyone in England got married young 50 years ago. Venezuela is a self-made woman who has chosen to pursue her goals in life, and I have given her every choice.

She went on to say that she and Tyson cannot “delude” themselves and admitted that relationships can be tough work. During an appearance on This Morning, earlier this week, Paris said: “Venezuela is so mature for her years,” when host Ben explained many would be concerned that Venezuela got engaged at a young age.

I can’t dispute Paris’ claim that she has accomplished so much in such a short amount of time because of who she is and the fact that she has six younger brothers and sisters who she has helped raise.

She is very mature, and I have been working with Venezuela for the past year. Venezuela has engaged in various shoots, interviews, and social media work. She chose this path despite my best efforts to give her in life.

Because I was 17 when I got engaged, I can’t deny her. How can I, in any way, judge her if she is obviously following my example? She is young, I am aware. But I believe she has found the person she loves, and I’m willing to support her in every way.

Of course, Ben and Cat had to ask if Venezuela would be following in her parents’ footsteps with the big wedding, as they recently tied the knot for the third time. However, it doesn’t look like she will be, according to her mother – as she said she “wasn’t keen” on her mother and father’s third wedding.

She must have thought, “This is going to be me, and now my parents are doing it, Oh my god! ” before she got engaged. “

She proposed, and she said she wanted to keep it small. However, she only recently got married. She is not in a rush, but she is enjoying this situation. She’s just enjoying where she’s at right now, I believe.

Ryan Thomas only had ‘£1 left’ in business account after ITV show axed

Ryan Thomas, a former Coronation Street star, reportedly had only $1 left in his business account after his prime-time ITV show 99 To Beat was canceled.

Soap star Ryan Thomas ended January 2025 with just £1 left in his business account. This comes after his prime-time ITV show 99 To Beat was axed.

The actor initially found fame as Jason Grimshaw on Coronation Street. His business account, R James Thomas Ltd., is used to hold the funds he earns from various TV and social media work.

The “cash at bank and in hand” amount was £1, according to financial statements filed with Companies House this month for the year ending on January 26, 2025. This is significantly less than the previous year’s final deposit of £41, 361.

Because the company owed money, this may not be the case right now, nor does it indicate that Thomas was in a bad financial position. According to the documents, the amount that unknown debtors owed to them was higher than the amount the business owed to creditors, including their tax bill, and those funds were scheduled to be deposited into the account within the same time frame as Thomas’ obligation to pay out of it.

Equity is the total amount the company owns and owes, less the total amount due to the company. R James Ltd. had total assets of £148,466 when all money owed was taken into account, leaving the business with total equity of £28,725.

According to Companies House, Thomas was also appointed as a director of The Thomas Brothers Entertainment Ltd. in May this year, at the same time the company was incorporated. Both his brothers, Adam Thomas and Scott Thomas, are also directors. All three brothers own 33 out of 99 shares each, nominally valued at £1 a share. The company has yet to provide any financial statements.

At Home With The Thomas Brothers, a podcast that Thomas and his brothers co-host, is available. He and his brother Adam co-hosted 99 To Beat, an ITV game show, earlier this year. 100 players competed in a number of games to win a cash prize of £25, 000, according to the description of the show, which was billed as a physical challenge inspired by Netflix’s Korean drama Squid Game. After a series, it was canceled.

On one of his podcasts, Mancs On The Mic, Adam Thomas revealed his true feelings regarding the show’s cancellation: “When I’m positive about something, it gets cancelled. I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong, to be honest.

Like I did one series of Extra Camp [I’m a Celebrity’s spin-off show] presenting, but it was canceled. Ryan and 99 To Beat’s next presenting job, which I did later had to be canceled.

An ITV spokesperson gave a lot of praise for the program, but he did not specify why it had been canceled. The biggest entertainment launch of the year, according to them, is 99 To Beat, which will be available on all streaming and streaming platforms.

It aired on ITVX for more than 4 million times, reaching 12.5 million viewers. The Thomas brothers are fantastic hosts, but we won’t, regrettably, be recommissioning at this time.

The Mirror has contacted Ryan Thomas’ team for comment.

EastEnders Max Bowden and Katie McGlynn confirm romance with steamy display

Max Bowden, a former EastEnders actor, and Katie McGlynn, a Coronation Street actress, kept it civilized by confirming their romance with a steamy kiss.

Soap stars Katie McGlynn and Max Bowden were spotted sharing a passionate kiss, following the revelation of their romance. The duo, who have been co-starring in the touring play Murder at Midnight, have been seen growing closer during nights out.

It was revealed how the pair, Katie, 32, and Max, 30, were often seen hand-in-hand during pub outings. One photo captured the couple sharing an intimate kiss, while another showed them strolling hand-in-hand, clearly displaying their affection for each other.

Katie, known for her role as Sinead Tinker in Coronation Street, and Max, famed for his portrayal of Ben Mitchell in EastEnders, have both had their fair share of romantic entanglements.

In pictures obtained by The Sun, the pair dressed down as they walked hand-in-hand, with Max opting for a pair of joggers and a sweater, which he paired with trainers. Meanwhile, Katie embraced the colder weather, wrapping herself up in a long coat, while adding an extra layer with a hoodie and trainers.

Max is no stranger to dating co-stars, having previously been linked with EastEnders’ Shona McGarty, who played Whitney Dean, and Danielle Harold, whom he secretly dated for over a year before parting ways.

The couple recently hit the headlines when it was revealed they were no longer on speaking terms and had unfollowed each other on Instagram. Max’s most recent relationship was with actress and director Tori Allen-Martin, which ended after six months.

A telly insider once said, “Max just can’t help himself when it comes to his co-stars.” He has that vivacious energy that the ladies seem to adore.

Additionally, Ricky Rayment, a former member of The Only Way Is Essex, and Katie recently broke up. According to a source, “Katie and Ricky’s romance has ended. They’re still friends and want to stay friendly, but it’s unquestionably over in terms of a romantic relationship.” Even though they lived miles apart from one another, it was difficult for them to date, they continued, “But ultimately it wasn’t meant to be.”

Just six months after the pair started dating, it became clear that Max had broken up with Tori Allen-Martin, his girlfriend. Their romance, according to reports at the time, “fizzled out.” After working together in the musical Midnight Cowboy, the pair quickly developed a close relationship and eventually became “inseparable.”

After the pair began working on the Murder at Midnight touring production, Max, 30, is said to have reportedly grown to know Katie, 32. Although it is thought that the two have known each other for a while, their road trips have reportedly sparked a romantic chemistry.

According to a source, “they were in the soap world for a while, where everyone is known.” They continued, “They have a lot in common and both have found themselves single while touring.” They get along well and have been together for some time; it’s obvious they have feelings for one another. Who is aware of what lies ahead?

Max and Tori have previously dated several co-stars. He had a romantic relationship with Whitney Dean, who was his former EastEnders coworker. Later, he and Danielle Harold, who played Lola Pearce, started dating, but it’s claimed that the pair are no longer speaking up.

A source earlier this year claimed that Diane and Max had been dating for a while. Everyone in the EastEnders cast, however, thought it was sweet together, and it was well known. They have even unfollowed one another on Instagram, which is unacceptable. Their relationship hasn’t been ended in the best of terms. After being friends, coworkers, and romantically involved for so long, there are many emotions.

Fans of the BBC One soap opera Max recently made a dramatic comeback to Walford, sparking a furore among them. His final appearance on the show, which aired on March 28, 2024, was his last appearance on the show, which was Lola’s cancer treatment. Ben was imprisoned after he allegedly cheated up money in the US in an attempt to raise money for her.

However, it was speculated that Bowden would return for a number of episodes after Chris Clenshaw, the show’s previous boss, left. Producer Ben Wadey reached out to Bowden later to confirm this. The actor’s scheduled return for just two episodes was made public in August.

Max and Katie’s representatives have been in touch with The Mirror.
