Dame Prue Leith and Paul Hollywood, the judges of the well-known Channel 4 show, have opened up about how they are viewed by viewers.

Prue Leith has leapt to the defence of her fellow judge, Paul Hollywood, over his so-called “horrible” image on The Great British Bake Off. Speaking from the iconic tent at Welford Park in Berkshire, the Bake Off judges shed light on their roles and how they’re seen by fans of the Channel 4 programme.
They are perceived quite differently by the general public, with her being seen as kind and Paul as being portrayed as being “horrible,” according to Prue, a restaurateur from South Africa.
The chef disclosed that their chat about the bakes in Cake Corner is generally to “inform and remind” the viewers, as, in reality, Prue and Paul could “do it in two seconds”.
Prue told Radio Times magazine: “The audience often say that I’m kind and Paul’s horrible, but if you look at our scores out of 10, we’re never more than one point apart. I think I’ve given one 10 in nine years… I can’t remember to who though!”.
She continued, “I once said, “It’s not worth the calories.” Because you are aware that any baking is high in fat and sugar, I have to ask, “Do I really want to eat this?” Am I ready to gain weight?
However, it appears Prue had a change of heart regarding this particular remark, as people would say they “felt judged” for enjoying cake and thought she was being “fattist”.
Paul stated: “I’ve never given a 10, only a 9.5. A handshake is very close to a 10. These are amateur bakers, but if they get a handshake from me, it means it’s very professional.”
Prue continued that Paul frequently claims he won’t be handing any cookies, but that inevitably his hand will “come out” when a bake is so impressive that he “can’t resist.” She also brought up the concept behind her own translation, “Prue pat.”
In other developments, Paul, who has been on the show since 2010, reportedly showed a different side away from the cameras. Briony May Williams, who came fourth in the 2018 series, broke down in tears when “every element” of her showstopper went awry.
On the show, the chef labelled her creation “a disaster” as she “overcooked” the mirror glaze and was unfortunately left with uncooked pastry. However, Paul’s off-camera actions revealed a gentler side.
She made it clear that she had never received a Paul Hollywood handshake. However, I was given a Hollywood hug off-camera when Cake Week’s showpiece cake was really bad.
When I realized someone was standing behind me and that Paul was standing behind me, I was upset and was crying while I was sat on my bench. I turned around.
He gave me a very big hug before telling me, “It’s okay, it’s just a f*g cake.” And yes, I was really entertained by that.

Freddy Brazier has admitted he “always knew” he would have children at a young age as he prepares to welcome his first baby. The 19-year-old son of Jeff Brazier and the late Jade Goody is set to become a dad next year with girlfriend Holly Swinburn.
They made their red carpet debut earlier this week at the Mirror’s Pride of Britain Awards in London, having announced their pregnancy in August. Freddy had confirmed their happy news when he shared a photograph of the Canary Wharf skyline, writing in the caption: “I’m actually a DILF to be! !”
Since then, he has since called Holly his “baby mother” and shared snaps of her. Freddy has since admitted that being a young father was always in his future, despite the surprise birth announcement.

The model confessed he has “a lot of feelings” about the pregnancy, but he is “excited”. “I always knew I was going to be a young dad,” Freddy told Closer.
“It was going to happen at some point,” he said. In the past, I’ve been silly. Although I’m happy it didn’t arrive sooner, I’m surprised. The 21-year-old’s baby news came after a challenging time for him.
His bond with his famous father became tense recently owing to his legal dispute with Freddy and Bobby’s grandmother, Jackiey Budden. Meanwhile, Jackiey recently spoke out in fury after Freddy had claimed his maternal grandmother got him “hooked” on drugs when he was just 12.
He had said in a podcast he does hope to have a healthy relationship with Jackiey amid Jeff’s legal battle to stop him seeing her. But Jackie, whose daughter Jade died in 2009 of cancer, has hit back at the 21-year-old man’s comments.
She remarked, “I have read everything he’s said about me, and I just can’t believe he’s saying it.” I can’t believe it, because it just isn’t true at all.
Before he and I ever smoked together while he was a kid in Essex near Jeff’s house, Freddy started smoking with his friends but it was unrelated to me. He eventually started in some bad crowds near Jeff’s house.
Freddy also revealed that he doesn’t have a fixed address before welcoming his first child. Instead of residing with his father, Jeff, he said, “couch surfing and loving life.”
Freddy made the revelation in a recent interview that “I don’t exactly live anywhere.” It’s a little challenging at times. I’m just enjoying life, couch surfing, and spending time with my friends. I adore an air-conditioned sofa.

Coleen Rooney is not known for posting heartfelt messages on social media. But in a bid to mark the milestone birthday of husband Wayne, the I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here runner-up stepped out of character and posted a loving message.
Taking to Instagram, the mum of four posted a loved up picture of the pair together holding a cocktail. She captioned the post simply saying: “Happy 40th birthday @waynerooney …love you xxx.”
The couple has known each other since they were 12 years old, but they started dating when they were 16 years old. Their relationship had grown to the point where both Wayne and Coleen tied the knot in a lavish ceremony in Portofino, Italy, in 2008.
On the back of Coleen’s message celebrity friends and family rushed to the comment section and penned their congratulations. Celebrity pals including actress Claire Sweeny, Coronation Street star Alan Halsall and former Premiere League footballer Jamie Carragher shared their well wishes.
The most recent episode of Wayne’s BBC podcast was to mark his 40th birthday. He is seen joined by boxing champ and I’m A Celeb star Tony Bellew, who arrives to the show with a birthday cake.
Alex Bruce and Darron Gibson, Wayne’s former teammates, were also present. You could be forgiven for thinking he would be partying hard with friends and family with such a historic birthday.
However, it appears as though his years spent traveling alone are unquestionably gone. Wayne will be coaching children in Dubai, according to his agent and close friend, Paul Stretford.
In an interview with the Mirror, he revealed: “Coleen has been such a rock for Wayne and the family generally, and now they can spend more time together and enjoy that aspect of their life. I would say at 40 he’s ended up very much in a good place, whereas a lot of us at 40 are thinking, ‘Oh, well, that’s my young days gone, it’s all downhill from here’.”
Do you know what he’ll be up to this birthday, he asked? In Dubai, he’ll be teaching children. He can take Coleen and the kids for half-term, but what he’s doing is he’s got his boots on and is playing with the kids there, where he loves best.
Wayne thanked Coleen for her unwavering support last month by openly revealing how his addiction to alcohol had destroyed his life.
Appearing on the Rio Ferdinand Presents podcasts when made his shock admission. He told his fellow sportsman: “I wanted to go out and enjoy my time with my friends and having a night out. It got to a point where I went too far, of course it did. That was a moment in my life where I was struggling massively. With alcohol. Massively struggling and I didn’t think I could turn to anyone.”
He continued, “I didn’t really want to because I didn’t want to put that burden on anyone.” I can recall putting eyes drops and chewing gum in before beginning my training. I only drank for two days straight. I went to training and scored two goals over the weekend before going back and drinking for two days straight.
Coleen is massive, Wayne continued. We were two Croxteth children when we were two, and we obviously started dating, married, and have children later. But when she was 17 years old, she was aware of my thoughts and suspicions. I adored football, you know? I had a passion for football, but I also cherished going out for a night. She has been able to control that since she was very young. Not controlled, but it greatly assisted in that regard.

Paloma Faith stunned her fans on Friday as she announced she is pregnant with her third child at the age of 44. The sweet announcement comes three years after she split from the father of her first two children and months after going public with her new flame.
The singer and star of this series’ The Celebrity Traitors took to social media to announce the exciting news, labelling it a “plot twist”. Calling herself an “OAP Milf,” Paloma revealed she is 18 weeks pregnant as she showed off her growing baby bump.
And the news shocked her followers, who were quick to share their delight in the comments section. The news was far from expected, following Paloma’s bitter break up from ex-husband Leyman Lahcine.

She said, “You either grow together, adapting to one another like expandable foam and filling the gaps where it’s empty, or one person grows and the other stays the same.”
For the first time in my life, I needed more than nothing, and the expandable foam simply wasn’t there, because becoming a mother was such a massively life-changing experience.
She continued, “Our relationship ended because of those kids.” And I believe it was worthwhile.
After going public with Stevie Thomas’ new partner in March, Paloma has obviously moved on. At a post-British Awards party, the couple caught up with one another. The couple had been dating for a year before becoming widely known, according to a report from The Sun at the time.
According to a source, “Stevie and Paloma are absolutely in love with each other, but she’s been telling people that their relationship is also the healthiest ever.” She adores how tall he is over her because he’s 6’6″.
He’s a great communicator and has a lot of heart, but it’s also sexy and exciting.

When they were at the top of their game, Claudia Winkleman and Tess Daly hatched a Thelma and Louise-style plot over a pizza to quit Strictly together.
When the dynamic hosting duo for Strictly Come Dancing announced they would be waltzing off the dancefloor at the end of this year’s series, fans were shocked this week.
But Claudia revealed that the pals forged their plan to quit Strictly together years ago. Laughing, she refuted the idea that fans wanted her to stay forever, saying: “I don’t think anybody would want that.
“I’m sure that when someone watches, they’ll say, “Can that tiny orange creature just shuffle off?” I’m going to leave at the same time as Tess. Pizza and we made that pact. Pepperoni was what I had. ”

The pair took over from the late TV legend Sir Bruce Forsyth, who left the show back in 2014, after 10 years as host. Now with mass hit The Traitors also under her belt, Claudia says the dynamic between her and Tess is perfect.

Claudia, 53, claims she still uses the Tube incognito despite her fame. She said, “I don’t feel any fame.” I watch the Tube four times per day. She began her TV adventure in 1992 on the long running BBC travel series Holiday. Claudia said: “The confidence I have comes from my parents. When I was tiny, to them the BBC was everything and it was the place they would always go to rely on.
“I can recall working for the BBC for the first time. I called my father, and we both started crying. I responded, “I have a job at the BBC.” He said, “It has all been worthwhile. I promised to do a three-part documentary series for BBC Three. He yelled, “Stop.” What’s its name? I responded, “It’s called Toilets.” ’”
After years working on shows including Talking Telephone Numbers, This Morning, Liquid News and Fame Academy, Claudia’s big break came in 2004 when she was picked to host Strictly’s sister show It Takes Two. After six years on the BBC2 spin off, Claudia graduated to the main event – presenting the weekly Sunday night show with Tess, which she says she has loved. “It is a show predominantly run by women and they are brilliant women,” she said.
She claims that she based every outfit on a theme, becoming something of a style icon. It might be a place or a person. When I had long hair pieces and we put turf in my dressing room, Andre Agassi recalled one year.
“I have done Pam StClement, Slash from Guns n Roses, I had a Joan Rivers moment, Sharon Osbourne, Anita Dobson, Rob Kardashian, Elton John, Mr Darcey from Pride and Prejudice. My favourite though was when we dressed the whole series as Sexy Fish, based on the restaurant in London. I have to say it did not look good on me!”
Kate Moss is a true example of her style. She says, “Great boots, thank you Kate Moss, skinny jeans, thank you again, thank you.” Kate is skilled at what she is doing with an oversize coat. Claudia, however, prefers to work in primarily dark colors. She says, “I have a uniform,” and she laughs. I’m doing exactly what I’m doing. I am unable to get up and think. There isn’t much time for reflection. I lack the brain, band width, or capacity for that. It must either be a black T-shirt or skinnies. A long-sleeved black shirt or perhaps a navy shirt is possible.
“I want to look like a male teacher of French geography!” I like the way that black makes me look older. rumpled . And that’s it. I prefer black because it’s simple and coordinates well with everything. I discovered goths, Siouxsie, the Banshees, Chrisse Hynde, Wendy James, and then I saw a photo of Joan Jett on Top of the Pops, and she was wearing black and white lipstick. ”
On the day of her wedding, she made an exception. She claims that it was white on the day of my wedding. a disgusting list. A very long day was had. I enjoy coloring a lot. One of the best things I’ve ever worn was a red sequinned trouser suit for the Strictly launch. It sounded violent. “
Claudia continues to be incredibly appreciative of Strictly and for all of her other TV work, looking forward to 2026 and any new, exciting projects that might come her way. She said, “I still believe I have had the best career possible, even if they called me right now and said, “You’re done.” ”

Seemingly following in the footsteps of Dolly Parton and Beyonce, Lily Allen appears to have named the woman who her husband cheated on her with.
Following the release of her most recent studio album, West End Girl, the public was aware of the big reveal. Lily makes references to Madeline in one of the album’s tracks. She repeatedly asks, “Who the f*** is Madeline? ” throughout the song and in the lyric, “I can’t trust anything that comes out of his mouth”
This comes after it emerged that Lily had in fact split with David Harbour back in December after she alleged that he had cheated on her on more than one occasion, which included a three-year affair with a costume designer. David is also reported to have joined dating app Raya while still married to Lily.
And so now, her song has generated a huge buzz among fans across the world as many are now desperately trying to investigate the real identity of Madeline, as it’s believed that Lily used a fake name for legal reasons.
Many people compared the singer’s song to Beyonce’s 2016 song, Sorry, which she named “Becky with the good hair” from the album Lemonade.
And in her 1973 smash hit song, Jolene, Dolly Parton had mentioned the woman in question before that.
The destruction Lily faced as a result of her five-year marriage ended, Lily’s song Tennis appears to show how devastated she was.
She wrote, “So I read your text, and now I regret it,” in the song. I’m not even remotely interested in how you’ve been playing tennis. You won’t play with me, and Madeline, who the hell is she? She says, “Da, da-da, da-da, who is Madeline, please? ” at the end of the song. (Who’s Madeline?)”. She keeps saying, “No, but who is Madeline, actually?” at the end.
The song claims that the pair had an open marriage plan but that there were rules that they had to follow, and that the arrangement did not actually involve the alleged affair.
One was that they had to be quiet, and the other was that they couldn’t make emotional connections.
She said, “How long has it been going on, and the song is focused on going into more detail about it?” Is there emotion or just sex here? Why would I trust anything that comes out of his mouth, he said, “It will always stay in hotel rooms and never ever be out in the open”? She continued, “I’m not convinced that he didn’t f**k you in our home.”
And the chorus remarked, “We had an arrangement. Be discreet and don’t be blatant. You had to be paid, and you had to be with strangers, Madeline.
“Madeline” assures Lily that an emotional connection has not been made in a portion of the song. Our relationship has always been about sex, according to Lily’s lyrics. We don’t communicate when we don’t have time together, and he always treats you with the utmost respect when we do.
The interlude continues, “I hate that you’re in such great pain right now/I really don’t want to be the source of any upset.”
He assured me that you knew what was happening and that he had your full consent. Please let me know if he’s lying because I have my own opinions on dishonesty. I don’t want to fall for lies.

Taking to social media, fans were left in a state of excitement over Lily’s seemingly autobiographical album. One person wrote on Twitter: “We got Jolene, Becky with the good hair, and now Madeline”.
