I’m A Celebrity’s Aitch was ‘cancelled’ by fans just months before jungle stint

I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! newcomer Aitch left fans ‘disappointed’ just months before he jetted off to the Australian jungle

Manchester-born rapper Aitch is gearing up to join the I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! jungle tomorrow, alongside a slew of other well-known faces.

The 25-year-old artist, whose real name is Harrison Armstrong, has already landed in Australia in preparation for the new series.

However, before jetting off to the land down under, the musician found himself in a bit of a pickle on social media.

During his stint on the 90s Baby Show podcast back in August, the Gen Z star divulged a private tale about his ex-girlfriend Lola Thompson, reports OK!.

The pair made their relationship public in January 2023, but called it quits 10 months later.

Aitch recounted a holiday in Bali where Australian influencer Lola had an unfortunate incident with ‘Bali belly’, leading to her soiling the bed.

As he put it, he was attempting to initiate a sexual act with his then-partner when he was hit by an unpleasant odour.

He went on to claim that her side of the bed was smeared with faeces. The story was shared as a joke but quickly cast a shadow over the rapper.

Although Aitch didn’t mention the woman by name, his fans were quick to deduce that it was Lola, given they had been seen together in Bali.

Just a few days after the story started making rounds on social media, Lola took to TikTok to share her version of events, alleging that Aitch had greatly exaggerated the incident.

“I feel like the way that he’s described it is completely inaccurate. And honestly I find it so vulgar and disgusting and so disrespectful the way that he’s speaking about me, that I’m not just going to not say anything,” she expressed.

Lola went on to explain her ordeal with ‘Bali belly’, which led to her vomiting and suffering from diarrhoea in the middle of the night.

She vehemently denied Aitch’s claims that they were about to get intimate when he discovered her soiled clothes.

She clarified: “I had done this in my sleep […] and it was a little bit in my pants, it didn’t go on the bed. It didn’t go on him. It didn’t go f****** everywhere like he said it did.

“It just was literally in my pants and he wasn’t being all like ‘Ew get away from me’ he literally was hugging me, telling me he loved me.”

The social media sensation revealed that Aitch actually took care of her during that time.

Lola added: “I was his partner for a bit. And then the fact that he’s going online and speaking about me in such a vulgar, disgusting way that’s not even accurate is just bizarre to me!”

The songwriter faced severe criticism for sharing such a personal story with millions of people, especially considering his ex is also a public figure.

One TikTok user expressed their disappointment: “Disappointed, I thought he was a nice guy.”

Another commented: “Well shame on him, imagine how she must feel when she’s gonna hear about this!”.

One viewer commented: “No longer an Aitch fan. This is sooo mean,” whilst another added: “Actually lost a bit of respect for Aitch in putting this out there like this.”

Yet others defended the rapper, pointing out he never identified Lola by name. They maintained he shouldn’t be blamed for internet detectives working out who she was.

Adam Peaty admits Holly Ramsay gives him ‘balance’ amidst family fall feud

Adam Peaty has opened up on the special connection he has with fiance Holly Ramsay after it emerged that he has fallen out with his family who have been absent from wedding prep celebrations

Despite the ongoing feud between his family and the Ramsay clan ahead of his marriage to Holly, Adam Peaty has revealed that he asked his fiancée to join him on tour as she gives him much-needed ‘balance’. The couple are due to tie the knot in a lavish ceremony held at Bath Abbey on Christmas Day.

And while the run-up to the big day should consist of both families finalising details of the wedding, things could not be worse.

But in an attempt to focus on the special bond he shares with Holly, he revealed that he asked her to join him on tour as she gives him the ‘balance’ that he craves.

The Olympic swimmer opened up on the World Aquatics’ YouTube series, which followed him ahead of the 2025 Swimming World Cup.

He said: “If I’m racing in trials or I’m racing in another meet, she will just be there in the audience. I’ll be in a different hotel room or etc. I said to myself when we start this season that I wanted her there because it gives me balance, but also not time away from home for three weeks. And as someone going through their fourth Olympics, you need balance.”

In an interview with the Daily Mail, Caroline Peaty, recalled the moment her relationship with her son broke down. She explained that after Adam announced his engagement, they threw a party but did not invite extended members of his side of the family. And so Caroline sent Holly a text explaining her concerns, which reportedly infuriated Adam.

This, according to his side of the family, kick-started a chain of events that led to neither Caroline nor other members of the family being invited to Holly’s hen party, held at Soho Farmhouse. Instead, the guest list focused on Holly’s mum and close friends, including Victoria Beckham.

Speaking about when they first met, Holly told the documentary series: “So when Adam and I first met, he wasn’t swimming. After the Olympics, in his head, he was done.

He was retired. So he took from the Olympics to January off and got back in the water this January.” And addressing her close-knit family, Holly is one of six. She has a sister, Megan, her twin brother, Jack, Matilda, Oscar, six and Jesse.

Holly said: “I have five siblings, so the house is constantly chaotic – which is a bit like being on tour. There’s definitely a few quirks to being with a swimmer…

“Always have to have snacks on hand, if I don’t have snacks then he always gets very hangry so if we’re going out, even on the way to dinner, I need to bring snacks with me.”

Caroline hoped that her chat with the Mail would instigate contact with her son ahead of his wedding day.

Kelly Brook’s reason for ‘holding grudge’ against ‘snobby’ I’m A Celeb’s Ant and Dec

Model Kelly Brook is set to enter the I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! jungle this weekend alongside plenty of other famous faces

Kelly Brook’s latest TV challenge is commencing this weekend as she is due to appear on the latest series of I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here! She’s no stranger to TV, but there may be an awkward encounter as it has been revealed that she doesn’t quite see eye to eye with presenters Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly.

The model is said to have held a grudge against the hosting pair from more than a decade ago. It has been claimed that Kelly thinks that Ant and Dec pushed for her to get the sack from Britain’s Got Talent back in 2009.

The ins and outs of the situation are unknown, but Kelly must be ready to put this behind her as she’s due to enter the jungle this weekend. I’m A Celeb is set to start Sunday night at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX.

The reunion between Kelly and Ant and Dec could be an awkward one as it is the first time they have come face to face since she was axed as a BGT judge after six days.

The Daily Mail reported that a source told them: “Kelly might be all smiles, but underneath she is a tough, tough woman who doesn’t take well to being crossed.

“She doesn’t forget. It is going to make for great television. She thinks Ant and Dec sneered at her for being a Page 3 girl, they didn’t think she had any talent.

“She’s a down-to-earth working-class girl done good, and she hates snobby behaviour. Woe betide Ant and Dec. She’s already been telling journalists she can’t wait to see them again.”

Ant and Dec have tried to clear the air with Kelly in the past. In their 2010 autobiography, Dec spoke about the feud, saying he didn’t understand why Kelly was hired as a fourth judge with Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden and Piers Morgan due to it usually being three.

She was let go from the show within a week as the format of four judges was seen as too complicated. However, it then went back to four judges.

Dec wrote in the memoir, Ooh! What A Lovely Pair: “Kelly looked nervous, so I told her it was going to be great fun and to just relax.

“She nodded, then looked at me and said, ‘And what do you do on the show?’ I looked at Simon, who was sat next to me, he turned to Kelly and said, ‘Kelly, you have seen the show, haven’t you?’ To which she replied, ‘Yeah… well, bits.’

“I don’t want to sound like an egomaniac, but the last person who said, ‘And what do you do?’ was the Queen.” Kelly then replied to the book as she said that the sacking had impacted her future job opportunities.

Kelly said: “There was nothing I could do in this country after Britain’s Got Talent. The people at ITV were telling me that I had upset Ant and Dec and that was it. I would love to have stayed on the show.”

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s ‘heartbreak’ in marriage as ‘bitterness’ rears its head

As the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, faces new criticism and the royal family feud rumbles on, a royal expert tells the Mirror the ‘heartbreak in their marriage’ brings the couple closer

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are never too far away from a fresh backlash, controversy or outrage – but sources say the turmoil that shadows them is a glue that binds their marriage together. The latest wave of public criticism hit 44-year-old Meghan last week after she opted not to wear a poppy to two major events on Remembrance Day weekend, including Kris Jenner’s star-studded birthday bash.

Various newspapers quoted a source claiming the poppies were not as “widely available” in the US as they are in the UK and across the Commonwealth, which led to a barrage of comments pointing out that Harry, 41, had one pinned to his tuxedo at the Baby2Baby Gala the pair attended. But according to royal expert Duncan Larcombe, the Sussexes are now so used to handling criticism that it brings them closer as a couple.

“There have been times in their marriage where it’s been Meghan and Harry against the world,” he tells us. “A clear theme from when they first met in the very beginning, has been how protective Harry is of Meghan. He’s a very loyal husband – much more so than most, because Meghan gets an awful lot of negative publicity, especially online.

“We’ve seen Harry supporting her in court cases, and also speaking out against those people that have wronged Meghan, which in his mind has included the Princess of Wales, Catherine. There’s also been a lot of heartbreak in their marriage but their similar past experiences and traumas are what holds them together and makes them stronger.”

At the party for Kardashian-Jenner matriarch Kris’s 70th, Harry and Meghan rubbed shoulders with the likes of Amazon co-founder Jeff Bezos and his wife Lauren Sánchez Bezos, singers Beyoncé and Mariah Carey, as well as Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg and his wife Priscilla Chan.

Royal watchers took their attendance as another sign the couple see their life and future firmly rooted in Hollywood and not in the royal family. Since first getting together nearly a decade ago, the pair have been embroiled in bitter family feuds and heartbreaking estrangements.

But Duncan tells us that part of the appeal in moving to the States and away from the royals was in sparing Archie, six, and Lilibet, four, from some of their own painful childhood experiences.

“Neither of them had an ideal upbringing by any stretch of the imagination. Both of their parents’ marriages ended in divorce, and of course Harry’s mum, Princess Diana, died shortly after that. There’s trauma and heartbreak there for both of them, and that has bonded them.

“Harry, by his own admission, is a damaged person and he has had struggles. It’s hardly a surprise given his extraordinary upbringing, and his profile of being the ‘partying Prince’. A lot has happened in Harry’s life that Meghan can feel sorry for, and therefore feel like she wants to protect him and look after him too.”

Meghan is sure to empathise with Harry’s bitter fallout with Prince William and King Charles, who turned 77 this week. There may have been glimmers of hope for reconciliation with his father but as yet, according to Duncan, very little movement with older brother William.

As painful as it is for Harry, Duncan suggests he has had an easier time than Meghan in some ways. He tells us, “Meghan has had her dad and half-sister and brother become outspoken critics of her and publicly denounce her. Harry hasn’t had to deal with that, but that’s only because the royals don’t comment on those things, so they’ve maintained a silence.

“It doesn’t mean there’s any less bitterness between Harry and his family, so he and Meghan have that in common and can see where the other is coming from.”

The couple announced their engagement eight years ago this month. At the time, Harry was a busy working royal with a full life in London. Things today couldn’t look more different, with the pair living in a gated community in Montecito, and Netflix deals and Meghan’s As Ever brand replacing busy royal diaries.

Harry has also “isolated himself from the inner circle of friends he used to rely on” as a result of the move to the US, Duncan claims, which has drawn him even closer to Meghan. “Those friends might not have always been a good influence on him, but they were a big part of his life, especially given he didn’t have a mother,” he says.

Part of the move was a desire to live with less scrutiny, Duncan believes, although this now seems unlikely. Believing this could spell trouble for them in future, he tells us, “One of the biggest difficulties they’ll face as a couple is if they go through a bad patch at any point. They wanted to leave the UK to get away from the microscope, but in many ways they’re more high profile and facing greater examination by the media and the public than they ever were in the UK.”

February 2026 will also mark two years since it was announced that King Charles was being treated for cancer. His ongoing treatment – and the fact he is approaching his eighties – has also raised questions about whether Harry’s hope of still being welcomed back into the UK has an expiry date.

“When William becomes King, there could be a real risk that Harry will be blanked by the royal court and be completely out on his own,” Duncan claims. “In Harry’s mind he’s a victim, but he has a big part to play in that possible scenario.

“With seismic changes in the family coming at some point, William will play a greater and greater role, and where does that leave Harry? He will absolutely need Meghan by his side.”

Vanessa Feltz revealed she turned down MasterChef amid serious concerns

Vanessa Feltz has revealed that she has turned down multiple offers made by the BBC including Celebrity Masterchef as she feared she would be ‘dreadful’

She is certainly no stranger to putting herself forward for reality TV shows. But it looks as though there is one area that the This Morning presenter draws the line at – and that is a cooking show. And the BBC soon became aware of this after asking her to take part in Celebrity MasterChef multiple times.

Despite laying herself bare on Celebs Go Dating in the pursuit of finding love following her public split with ex Ben Ofoedu, the broadcaster was unable to convince Vanessa Feltz to show off her culinary skills.

Speaking to the Daily Star, she explained: “I turned down Celebrity Shark Tank, I’ve turned down MasterChef about 50 times. I’m not a good enough cook; I’m terrible. My cooking would be so appalling, I just couldn’t face it. I’d be dreadful!”

She added: “It would only be okay if you were secretly a good cook and you wanted to show off. My children, when they hear the microwave go ‘ping’, they say: ‘Ah, just like Mummy used to make’.”

Vanessa has appeared on Strictly Come Dancing in 2013 but years before her dancing debut, she became an icon thanks to her on-screen meltdown in 2001.

Speaking about her time on the show, she explained to the Express that she was the first housemate in the world to ignore the commands by Big Brother.

This came a year after she split from her husband as she agreed to join the show as part of Comic Relief. Speaking that moment she wrote in her memoir Vanessa Bares All: Frank, Funny and Fearless, she said: “I should have been able to keep a lid on my emotions but I couldn’t.”

She added: “Rapidly I spiralled into an emotional tailspin, and the fact that I happened to be wearing a leopard-print dressing-gown and black sunglasses indoors at the time added to the spectacle.”

Vanessa continued: “We’d been given chalk. I’d noticed the dining table was made of blackboard. I decided I’d write some appropriate words just to give myself something interesting to read later.”

Scribbling on the table with her piece of chalk, she remembers writing the words “IMMOLATED, ISO- LATED, INCARCERATED, IMMURED, DEFENESTRATED, LAMPOONED, DISTRAUGHT, FRAUGHT, ABASHED, DIS- COMBOBULATED.”

Vanessa, 63, currently hosts her own TV show on Channel 5 during the week at 12.30pm, which appears to be a roaring success as it has been renewed for another year.

And the TV personality, who first became a household name in 1994 hosting her talk show Vanessa, expressed her joy and “excitement” of being re-commissioned.

Vanessa has had a lot of guests on her show but it looks as though while she may have a few dream guests, she is simply happy to have interesting guests.

The TV hosts has now won awards since launching her own TV show including Best Talk Show at the National Reality TV Show Awards and she also received a nomination for the TV Choice Awards.

But it looks as though love is certainly not on the cards as her busy work schedule has taken over her life. She explained that she has been working seven days a week since March which included her talk show as well as her LBC show on the weekends.

She added: “I’ve been doing seven shows a week for the last 200-and-something days. Been quite busy, I am exhausted. It’s good fun, very good fun.”

Succession star Brian Cox’s powerful U-turn call on adopted kids therapy fund cuts

The acclaimed actor, whose sisters rallied to care for him as a child, is campaigning against cuts to the Adoption and Special Guardianship Support Fund

Enduring the loss of his dad at the age of only eight, Brian Cox is no stranger to childhood hardship. Now the acclaimed actor, whose sisters rallied to care for him as a boy before big-screen fame, is backing a campaign to help vulnerable kids. Succession star Brian has thrown his weight behind a call to reverse cuts to a therapy fund.

The scheme, helping adopted kids and those in kinship care like Brian as a child, has had support for individuals slashed by 40%. Emmy award-winning Brian has added his name to the U-turn call on government cuts to the Adoption and Special Guardianship Support Fund.

One-time Labour supporter Brian, 79, whose mum suffered nervous breakdowns, described the fund as a “special lifeline”. The Scot – who rose from poverty to star in Braveheart, Churchill and the Bourne Identity – is supporting the call after Motherland’s Anne Maxwell Martin’s plea last month. In a powerful video for campaign group, Action Against ASGSF Changes, Brian said: “All children have the right to feel safe, thrive and reach their potential.

“Adopted and kinship children and those under special guardianship orders are no different. The Labour government has cut a vital fund that supported these children. The Adoption and Special Guardianship Support Fund is a lifeline that allows adopted and kinship children and young adults to access specialist assessments and therapy. Therapy that cannot be accessed in any other way. No matter your start in life we have, as a nation, a moral obligation to individuals and society as a whole to ensure that we have the best chances to be happy and healthy.

“I am supporting the urgent call for the government to reverse all cuts made to the ASGSF, conduct an independent and robust consultation with the families and, finally, make the ASGSF a permanent ringfenced fund. I urge you all to support the campaign against the cuts and sign the open letter to the minister for children and families, Josh MacAlister.”

Brian, from Dundee, shared a two-bed flat with his parents and four siblings. He and his brother slept in the living room alcove, he once said. But his dad — who had a grocer’s shop — died and his mum had nervous breakdowns. Brian, whose “traumatised” brother joined the army aged 16, told the Mirror: “I was totally dependent on my three sisters. They looked out for me as much as they looked after me.”

He described his eldest sister, Bette, who died aged 92 in 2023, as “my absolute rock”. Brian said: “She was the one who was Dundee-based… she gave me a key… to my flat where we lived. I used to go home on my own and stuff and then I’d spend a lot of time with her as well. So she was fantastic to me.”

Explaining further where he stayed as a child after his dad’s death and mum’s breakdowns, the actor said: “She [Bette] gave me a key and I would stay in our flat which was still there. Not all the time but I would occasionally go back to the flat and spend the night there, so I had a key to my mother’s flat who wasn’t there. And I also stayed with my youngest sister for quite a lot of the time until she emigrated to Canada, [she]… was also in that flat.”

Asked what his message was to PM Keir Starmer on the therapy fund: “What he should realise is that the fund is so more important because there is much more kinship around now than there is family. And that’s the sad thing about the state of the family. We have to think about kinship because of the crisis that goes on within working-class lives. Because of heroin addiction… because of alcoholism.”

The £50 million 2025-6 Adoption and Special Guardianship Support Fund (ASGSF) pays for therapy, supporting vulnerable children and young people in England. But the government’s changes announced in April cut the per child funding from £5,000 to £3,000 each year – a 40% drop. And the separate £2,500 per child sum for specialist assessments was scrapped. Meanwhile, the ASGSF no longer match-funds support for kids with exceptional need.

Campaigners met with minister MacAlister on Wednesday but came away unimpressed. A spokesperson for Action Against ASGSF Changes said: “The cuts to the ASGSF were made without warning, evidence or consultation. The Minister offered no credible explanation for this, and showed no willingness to engage with the impact of those cuts.”
